I broke down and got Glow a couple of months back for under $20usd. I love its searing, soapy, and crisp sparkling cleanliness and great longevity. I've since been hunting for budget tropical freshies for summer, and Live fit the bill. Total bonus that it was created by Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion, so I was confident it would be a worthwhile blind buy. My first impressions are that it wholeheartedly reads tropical in a fruity and ever-so-slightly suntan-lotiony way, without the use of any of the typically tropical florals or even coconut. It's a touch like Yara Tous, without the noticeable mango and fluffy skin-like musk in the background that I find overwhelming sometimes, which means Live reads fresher, and I love that. The sweetness I experience with Live is by way of ripe fruit with only a touch of sugar from the caramel base...rather more like a scratch-n-sniff-sticker-caramel than the fumes wafting off a fresh batch of candy. The sweetness doesn't add much weight or "thickness " to the experience (which I prefer bc I am not a big fan of the dessert gourmand trend in fragrance) and the sandalwood, vanilla, and tonka combine in a way remiscent of dry flavored tobacco, unwrapped, aired out for a bit, and not yet smoked. Like with many of the budget celeb frags I've tried in the last couple of years, I am pleasantly surprised. Will add to this once I've worn it a time or two, but so far I'm loving it.

It starts out fresh, and the drydown has a clean scent that reminds me of feeling fresh. Really enjoyable fragrance.

I have never used this scent. But there is a lovely foreign lady on a supermarket that I shop regularly. And every time she walks around whole isle smells amazing. Today , I have bumped into her outside we greeted each other as we know each other locally. And I apologised her for strange questions and asked her what perfume is she wearing as a curious perfume enthusiast? She said " Jennifer Lopez, Live " I couldn't believe , although it's a Dominique Ropion, so I shouldn't be that surprised. I honestly thought whole time she is layering either Gucci Guilty or Chloe Love with some other perfume. This perfume smells very clean, soapy, powdery and fresh at the same time ,with great sillage. And it's so strong , the wearer can fill whole room with her scent bubble, but not in your face way. She also told me it's very affordable and only perfume that holds on her whole day. Definitely will grab a bottle as it's one of the great option for daily wear or for self care routine while doing face cleansing etc. It's a must.

This was a blind buy, very affordable designed by the now famous Dominique Ropion. (Designer of Alien - It is not similar to Alien) Although it is mild I still have grown to love it over a few days of first thinking it had no smell... It is classroom/office save. Safe to gift.

I remember trying this about 20 years ago and instantly not loving it so put it down prob coz I was too young I thought it was too old for me it does have a more mature smell than the Paris Hilton + Britney ones I’ve got it again now I’m older for the bottle recently it’s so nice once you’ve had it on a few mins it’s like fruity shampoo I can smell a lot of pear not sure if that’s a note that’s maybe the floral and dries down to a nice smell that’s nostalgic can’t put my finger on it maybe a 90s shower gel I would get it again definitely love the coloured bottle can’t belive im just buying for the first time for a gift too would be good 30+ although some younger might like it it’s also good for both day and night I think it’s strong enough 8.5/10 will deffo try her others if I find them

This is a fresh, fruity scent without being too sweet. It seems to be a nostalgic scent for a lot of people, which I can understand - it’s an easy fragrance to wear. I got 50ml for £15, which is a wee bargain, but it doesn’t have enough of an impact for me so I’m going to give the last half of the bottle to a friend.

This used to be my signature scent from when I was 10, so this review comes from a place of love and nostalgia: fun, fruity, it makes me happy! A bit too 'young' for my newly acquired taste, but very inoffensive. I do agree it is nothing otherworldly nor unique, but doesn't have to. Sometimes I consider buying a decant as to not commit to a full bottle, but have it close enough to whiff from time to time To me it is tropical and feminine, safe and addictive. Lovely!

Fresh , fruity , sweet Laundry -like scent. This shines in cold weather but it is wearable in summer too/

Smells like a herbal essence type shampoo. So if that's the vibe you're after, go for it.

Smells like a fruity laundry detergent. Very long lasting on clothes and it smells clean. Smells good on cold days. On warm days it is a bit cloying. I did wear it a lot at work lol.

Very cool fragrance. Has a note that’s really addictive. It’s like some magic potion. Just like the flanker. It’s strong but at the same time it’s not, it’s hard to explain. Recently I’ve became a fan of her fragrances. Never wanted to try because of the glow stink. I was seriously missing out. Now I wanna live luxe, and I would love to get platinum but it’s not available anywhere.

Potpourri and fruitjuice / laundry detergent vibes, good longevity. Not my thing, gave it to my mom, she likes it. Now I just have to try Live Luxe 🍈✨

The bottle is so pretty which leads me to not use this very often even though I like it. When I use it, I am tempted to use it every day until it's empty but then I would be faced with the dilemma of what to do with an empty bottle. It's not the kind of bottle I would want to throw in the trash, like the Niki Minaj bottles. I've had this for three years now and I've only worn it about six times because I worry about the empty bottle and what to do. Performs well in the heat and humidity. Don't be put off by the caramel note, this is not heavy or oppressively sweet. This is long lasting fruity violet musk with a slight plastic doll note. Has the Lou Lou doll come to life effect without being anything at all like Lou Lou. Where is the musk in the list of notes? It's in there.

A sugary sweet floral gourmand. Loved this as a teen, and still enjoy it from time to time. Good sillage and longevity for a budget buy. I smell the sugary caramel and vanilla as it dries down, which blends nicely with the florals. Nothing ground breaking, but I think it has a unique scent for an ultra budget fragrance. Can be worn in all seasons imo.

It is a mild scent perfect for hot days. Fresh at first but dry more powdery with a touch of sweetness. I have that for a while but I forgot how pleasure it can be.

No offense but it smells too lemony for me to enjoy, with a hint of sourness? Not a fan of it.

If I have to choose only one fragrance in my collection, it would be Live. The name itself is totally related to what I want to happen in my life right now...I want to live! I wanna be able to dance again, to laugh to sing to be happy and love 💚 Live is my signature scent ever since it was released. 3 of my favorite vibrant colors are green, yellow and purple and these colors are the chosen colors for the bottle design and it's absolutely beautiful...it's like an ethereal magic potion. The juice indeed is like a potion, it's intoxicating, addicting and so wonderful. The main note is Pineapple with mixture of different floral and sweet notes. It is the most vibrant, uplifting, happy scent I have ever encountered and it makes me happy whenever I smell it. I guess the name 'Live' fits the scent so well because it makes me happy and I wanna live happily. This is the most unique perfume and the only perfume that uplifts my spirit....it makes me wanna Dance, laugh, love and Live!

This used to be my signature perfume when I was a teenager and in my early twenties, and I still have a bottle. It's ridiculous how many people have complimented me and asked me what scent I'm wearing throughout the years. It's a flirty, sweet (but not overly sweet as this is not my vibe), fruity scent that lasts for hours and has just the right amount of sillage. Also it's quite cheap and definitely worth the money!

i genuinely cannot stand this scent, it literally just smells like bubble solution to my nose. very synthetic

I love the bottle, but I am very glad I got this on sale. I don't know if it is my PH but it does not last on my skin. Initial smell is tropical, the pinapple especially stands out, but I do not smell any of the base notes, so it just ceases to exist once the top notes wear off.

The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, but the scent is not for me. It comes off “manly” on my skin, I don’t feel anything caramel in the base which was so disappointing.

I decided to give this another chance. I’m on vacation in Hawaii & I attended a fabulous luau by a gorgeous beach. Eating delicious food & sipping tropical cocktails hypnotized by the beautiful island dancers. I received so many compliments on this perfume. Like most of J Lo’s perfumes Live is very much powdery. It’s soft, fresh & soapy. The pineapple juice & the citruses are juicy. The florals are lovely. Spray in moderation it’s strong & sharp, but when it drys down it’s when it comes alive. I’m not in love with her yet, but for sure I’ll bring her out in the summer nights. 🌅

I agree with some other people that said this gives laundry detergent/fabric softener sheets vibes. It’s a sweet/clean scent. A bit too artificial for me.

This fragrance captures a clean, musky, citrusy vibe, reminiscent of cocktail syrup from a can of fruit cocktail mixed with tonic water 🍑🍹. It evokes the scent of canned peaches in a tin, blending the sweetness of the fruit with a refreshing, fizzy quality. The nostalgic touch is enhanced by the image of Mom’s 90s styled hair, freshly coated in hairspray, as she opens a can of fruit cocktail. The cold, fruity aroma fills the air, mingling with the crisp scent of hairspray. Even though I don’t wear it often, I really like this fragrance and would love to have a bottle. It’s a delightful blend of nostalgic and fresh.

If I really liked live luxe, then I can't not like this, this is such a BEAUTIFUL scent that I will only keep it for good occasions, dates, evening outings and shopping sprees. The only thing that doesn't fade in this is the beginning. which smells very strongly of pineapple, this note does not fade at all, but then it becomes bright lemon, caramel, red raisin flower together with orange, finally a combination of 8.5/10. JLO, you have created a perfect gourmet, you won me over with this perfume.🥹

invigorating cocktail fruits that smells like peaches, and citrus fruits. Somehow has a ginger note that comes out after it settles on my skin. Has a distinctive nostalgic feel as the strong peach note reminds me of a 90s denim jacket. It’s like a summer version of ‘I want choo.’ Very strong initial projection but extremely poor longevity. 2 hours tops. Good for layering and perfectly refreshing for summer heat. 7.5/10 Update: while it was very nice and ‘zingy’ for summer I realised I never reached for it even when I tried to. Decluttered to family who wears it a lot more than I do :)
