This is such a cute bottle and the scent gives me major nostalgia. It's definitely not a mature perfume but one I don't mind keeping in my perfume collection when it's on sale. The staple for a preteen girl in the 2010s.

Purr smells like a celebrity fragrance, and whether that is positive or negative will depend entirely on your taste. It has the playful sweetness associated with many fragrances from the late 2000s and early 2010s, giving it a distinctly Y2K character. On my skin, Purr develops into a soft ambery floral with a milky, powdery sweetness. The composition feels smoothly blended, with no individual note dominating the fragrance. It reminds me of the overall mood of Britney Spears’ Midnight Fantasy—not because they smell identical, but because they share the same youthful, sweet, nostalgic celebrity-fragrance energy. Despite its softness, Purr lasts approximately seven hours on my skin. The projection is relatively intimate, making it an easy and versatile choice for everyday wear. It works well as a casual “easy reach” fragrance when you do not want to think too much about what to wear. This is not the fragrance I would choose for an elegant event or when I want to smell especially distinctive or sophisticated. Purr is better suited to relaxed days when you are wearing jeans and a simple shirt and want to feel fresh, feminine, and comfortable. It captures an uncomplicated, carefree mood. Considering its affordable price, versatility, pleasant performance, and cute bottle, I could see myself repurchasing it.

What this is.... * inexpensive (under $20USD) * an adorably cute shelf ornament * uncomplicated, relatively linear * unimaginative, unoriginal * an inoffensive everyday wear * a fruity white floral that, for me, reads smooth, intimate, and only mildly sweet, that I'm ok respraying a couple of times a day What this ain't... * giving niche vibes * overpriced juice in a boring bottle * a cerebral scent exploration * beast mode * suffocatingly sweet or heady * for gardenia or jasmine haters, celeb frag snobs, or serious adults with no joy in their lives It's simply nice, enjoyable, inoffensive, inexpensive, and fun. Seriously? it's a CAT bottle...run, don't walk, to add it your frag display. Even if you don't end up loving the juice itself, you'll wanna give it a name and pat it's little head for funsies.

Declutter/Shop My Shelves #8: Purr I think I must have bought this cheap for the bottle because I have clearly hardly worn it. Not sure why bot--maybe it did require a long maceration--because I am loving it. Like a cross between a really fruity shampoo (along with the creamy and doll's head plastic vanilla and clean musk scents of shampoo) and something darker. Delicious. And ridiculously 2010. Verdict: KEEP

One of my favorite perfumes ever since i was a kid, mom had gotten it as a gift from her friend and she shared the perfume with me, to this day i still have the perfume with half of the bottle due to me not wanting to use it much ( as it is very expensive for me ). I think it smells amazing, giving me a sense of flowers, peaches, vanilla and it honestly lasts for hours which is the most enjoyable thing of it, one of my favorites perfumes of all time 🧡

I bought it recently because the notes and for the cute kitty shape bottle!(I just Love to collect cute perfume Bottles🐱💖🥹),The kitty head is very fit and don't fall from the bottle like I watched in the past reviews ,so that's very nice! About the perfume at first is fruity of peach and minutes after gets vanilla scent ,It will be last longer If is layered with other Perfume,like lattafa Yara moi, So is good to be as layering,the dry down Hours after smell is like a vanilla with fruity peach with a bit floral shampoo , but again,If is layered gets better; 10/10🐱💖.

Affordable fragrance. After smelling it at a friend's house and looking up it isn't as bad of a price, I bought it second hand to try a little more and have now bought a new bottle on sale.

Pleasant and inofensive. This is what I describe as a standard "millenial" smelling perfume, and those that are milleniels will understand. It's more floral than fruity, not too sweet. Very easy to wear and appropriate for a lot of occasions: work, errands, gym, going out. I personally got it for the bottle because I also have Meow (which I like better because it's more fruity). Overall it's a safe perfume with and ADORABLE bottle

Perfume is alright, not basic, but not anything special either. It’s super fruity and a bit floral after it’s on my skin for a while. Maybe I’m crazy, but I smell like a little bit of Alien by Mugler after a few hours. This is by no means similar to alien, but I swear I smell it. The jasmine, amber, and sandal wood is probably responsible, also it’s barely there. I think I did see someone mention that on a forum a few years ago about that. Longevity is fine for like a 20 dollar perfume, bottle alone is worth 20 dollars in my opinion. It’s so cute!!! I wish it was refillable just so I could fill it with another perfume after I finished it. This is a perfume you can also overspray without offending other people too bad. I did sneeze when I did that this morning though lol.

Purr is elegant and soft, definitely not a strong or overpowering. I’d even call it quiet, but in a very intentional, pleasant way. It opens with a gentle, fruity, sugary plum note, even though I know it’s technically peach. It has that same smooth, slightly juicy feel. The floral aspect is present but very light, more of a soft backdrop than a bouquet. Overall, it’s refined, understated, and easy to wear. If you’re looking for something delicate, versatile, and quietly pretty, Purr fits that role beautifully.

Smells like a peach bubble bath with a hint of coconut in it

I purchased this perfume for the bottle and I gave it an ok rating because of that. The perfume itself is not complex, and is simply a fruity floral, leaning more floral. It's not bad, but it's nothing special. The bottle is amazing!

There way too much going on in this perfume. I just bought it for the bottle.

I love all of Katy's perfumes, but I have to admit that this one is lower in the liking scale scale right after Mad potion and Mad Love. It is ok and nice up until the moment I get a resemblance to Veet hair removal wax steeps. Maybe it's just me hahaha but it's ok overall, light, airy, bit sweet and to me the bamboo is in the center of it all.

💲16 for the 3.3 bottle of Eau de Parfum on FragranceNet 👃It smells shampooey clean combined with a light hint of jasmine. I find it a bit nostalgic in the way that it has that pasty, solid perfume smell from the 90’s. I wouldn’t say this scent is especially bright or energizing. It would be a good one to spray around my pillow at bedtime after a shower or to wear on a day where my mood is demure.

I love this perfume so much. It was the first perfume I ever owned: I got it for christmas when I was 9 or 10 and I wore it to every special occasion: birthdays, christmas parties, distant relatives weddings. I treasured it so much that 12 years later the bottle is still half full! It's such a sweet perfect scent and so nostalgic to me. I know it's objectively not that special but I will never be able to take criticism on it because it means so much to me. It doesn't last at all though haha. Even back then it was gone within half an hour.

I didn't think i would like it as much as i do because its sweet, it smells like crayons on me and reminds me of "cool charm tokyo blossom body spray", I dont usually like coconut in a frageance, but this is so mild and smells like actual coconut oil. If i describe emotionally,.. hmm ..It feels like a hug with a bestie when going for a night out. Happy, youthful, playful, fun.

mum used to wear it when i was younger, so this smell is really nostalgic i cant remember much of this smell since this was well over 7 years ago, but a body mist i bought recently (specifically miniso's lucky7 passion intense body mist) really evoked the familiarity of this perfume for some reason despite it having no resemblance note wise, it might be the jasmine or the apple, and i feel like its also the pear-like smell to it?? forgive me if im wrong again i barely remember how this smells like

It's a pleasant scent, nothing great or anything. A fruity scent. It's OK. The bottle is sweet though! I bought it for the cat bottle.

OMFG my preconceptions about this perfume could not have been more wrong! 😳😳😳 I bought this thinking it's a teenage scent and it'll be a synthetic, boozey-fruit, too sweet, generic perfume but HOOOOLLLLLLY SHEET! This is boozey at first sniff yes but then it immediately evolves into a photorealistic Jasmine forward floral masterpiece! With a wisp of a caramel-like undertone, this perfume is effing goooood! Easily a daily scent, flirtatious and sophisticated in spite of the newness of this batch. Can you imagine how good this will be next year? 8/10 This could be my last perfume purchase and I wouldn't lament. ♥️👍 But it fades so fast

Just got this! I bought it for the cute bottle because I have the other Katy Perry cat bottle Meow and I love cats!! It smells nice- very light and will be easy to wear. To me it smells like body spray- very light - it only lasted a few minutes before I couldn’t really smell it anymore but I did enjoy it while it lasted! It’s somewhat familiar and generic but that’s ok with me! I do really like the bottle! Mine came with the silver box but I wish I had gotten the box with Katy on it!

This is a total fruit bomb—heavy on the peach and very nostalgic. While it feels a bit too juvenile for my taste now, I can’t deny it was an absolute sensation when it first launched. It definitely captures the energy of that time!

I was expecting this to be a fruit bomb but it's actually a milky, creamy almost coconut like scent that I think is more mature than Meow. Has a shampoo like quality to it but I honestly don't care I love it lol the bottle alone is collector worthy and I got this very cheap!

So much hate for WHAT - look at the bottle!! Hefty glass cat with a little charm and some cool almost crystal-like eyes. Sometimes you just want a cute bottle for your collection and something easy to wear that you can spritz 45 times and head out the door. It could also be a bedtime scent because it's very light. A little soapy, a little peachy, it's soft, clean, youthful, comforting.

I'm not a huge lover of this but it's relatively safe even for casual wear. It's powdery, it's kind of milky but in a coconut milk sort of way and the freesia + jasmine combo had me stumped trying to figure out what this smells so similar to. I finally remembered, it's Kayali Musk 12 and I HATE that freesia jasmine combo just like I do in this one but at least this one has a mix of notes that I do like alongside it - the vanilla peachy apple powderiness of it is the part that I'm most attracted to about this perfume but it does come off a bit soapy or otherwise shampoo-like and normally I don't mind those type of scents too much but it really needed some sort of huge redemption area for me to make up for the freesia + jasmine that I hate but it just isn't there. Still like it, still wear it, but I don't see any special aspect or redeeming quality in this perfume for me to truly love it, for me it's just a horrid combo (freesia+jasmine) mixed with rather pleasant notes that don't do enough to fully redeem it but does enough to make it wearable and somewhat enjoyable to me. It still says a lot that I can say and rate this as a like despite the freesia and jasmine.

This is a super easy reach for casual wear in the spring or summer. I love a soapy clean scent and this is just that! Perfect when you’re hot and sweaty and want to feel a bit fresher. I think this would also be a great gym fragrance. It’s inexpensive enough to throw in your bag and not worry about anyone stealing it out of your locker, and you’ll always smell good! It is a bit synthetic but I’m wouldn’t be wearing this to impress. I’d wear it for day to day things, like shopping or hanging by the pool. It’s perfect for that!

It almost feels like this perfume was made just for me. The bottle is my favorite animal and my favorite color. Many people say it smells like shampoo, and I love shampoo-like scents. The powderiness I think keeps it from being too juvenile.

Yum! Beautiful combination of floral and fruity. White florals add a mature touch to this scent. If this wasn’t in a kitty bottle, it would have gone triple platinum across boujee millennials with shag haircuts and patchwork tattoos that work at a hair salon. But obviously, since it's in a cat bottle, it is for me and me only. I do need to douse myself in this, but I really don’t mind because that's part of the fun. Major dent in the bottle since I got it a few days ago though. My nose has gotten so used to it that I really need to dig my nose into my wrist and SNIFF. Everyone else seems to smell it though. Most of the negative comments say, "It smells like shampoo! It smells too juvenile! It smells cheap!" I looked at those and thought to myself, "perfect." and immediately bought it. This really isn’t too fruity. It's certainly reminiscent of the early 2010's, but it's surprisingly mature for being marketed towards a younger audience. Sillage radiates within 6 feet or so, and the longevity is pretty good, I’d say 5 hours or so. Would need minor reapplication though. It can be pretty cloying if you spray too much, so spray more than you would for a better quality perfume, but not *too* much. A major role in my fragrance selecting process is thinking, "What does this fragrance remind me of?" Something that was a big thing in my childhood was bath time. All kids shampoo and bath products have their own distinct, nostalgic smell. Some smell like straight up apple and they're pretty linear, but it's hard to find other things that match the complexity of, say, Johnson's baby products. This has that complexity without being too childish. It's fitting for a teenager in the 2010's. Nowadays, all teenage girls crave vanilla perfumes. I love a good vanilla perfume, but it isn’t who I am. I’m not simple, but I’d say I’m a crowd pleaser. The only people who judge me are people who are too "normal" and insecure about how many people there are in the world that act just like they do. I have an unsuspecting complex mind, coupled with a deep sense of nostalgia. My memory is an incredibly valuable thing for me, and this brings back some nostalgia for me. It smells fresh, clean, and fruity. Not too sugary and sweet.
