Flower by Kenzo L'Elixir

BEST. PERFUME. EVER. This is pure deliciousness. Just perfect. 11/10.

I've never smelled this one. I've always wanted to though. The notes are very similar to the new Flowerbomb Extreme (👈OBSESSED!!). Can anyone who has smelled both compare the two?? I might need to track down a bottle of this if they're the same type of scent. TIA!!

Alberto Morillas has done a lot in this one unfortunately it was discontinued from the brand I was able to keep just the rest of 30ml bottle to save this in my nose memory I like every detail in it the sweetness the silage and the long lasting and how it cools down such a pity not to find it again anymore

I couldn't appreciate this because of its metallic acetone-like smell that never went away. But I fixed this by layering with Bianco latte and now I've created the perfect creamy white chocolate raspberry fragrance. In love!

A delicious, warm, sweet, powdery, and enveloping fragrance. How come it's no longer in production? What a shame!

For me, Flower Elixir represents one of the best Kenzo perfumes and one of the best powdery perfumes ever produced! It’s such a shame that it has been discontinued because it was loved by many, so I think it must have sold well. Scent profile is very beautiful and feminine, delicate, warm and super smooth. A sweet raspberry dipped in soft powder, mixed with sweet praline, creamy vanilla, mandarin oranges, luscious rose and orange blossoms! An excellent powdery, fruity, warm floral with strong, gourmand facets. I personally loved Flower by Kenzo L’Elixir because it’s one of the few powdery dominant perfumes that it didn’t have iris or violet in composition, back in the days I really didn’t liked iris or violet in perfumes. Flower by Krnzo L’Elixir was a delicious scent that was quite unique to mainstream designer launches for the time it was available but smelled so alluring and beautiful that made so many of us ladies, absolutely adore it!! I will be forever grateful for my 50 ml back up bottle because on days like today’s, during slow morning weekends, I can enjoy the magic of this and reminisce of good times! Kenzo, please start producing Flower L’Elixir again! Please, we need it, ten years later and there’s nothing like it!!

This was absolutely gorgeous. The best perfumes always get discontinued.

This is a gorgeous scent where the raspberry note identical to raspberry hydrolate dominates the composition. It is candied with praline and vanilla, reminiscent of a lollipop. Very pleasant to wear and joyous at that. Good longevity and projection even in winter but the scent does not overwhelm. I think it is even richer in different weather. I loved it initially but then I bought a raspberry hydrolate and it smells just as long and just as divine but for pennies. Now I like it still but I feel like wearing a simple byproduct not a parfume.

This has to be one of my favourite fragrances and like everybody else really disappointed that it was discontinued :( It opens very much like a raspberry cola, it’s got that deep dark fruity vibe to it. And it’s just the right amount of sweet. One of those fragrances for me you gotta wear it on its own to really enjoy it and I truly believe it doesn’t have to be layered because it is the moment. Gives off evening vibes, date night. Wore it on a first date with a guy, got cold and he gave me his jacket to me wear. As we parted ways and I gave him his jacket back, he messaged me the next morning saying he couldn’t stop smelling his jacket and I smelt “heavenly”. Beautiful, well blended scent. Top 2 and not number 2.

Yummy raspberry and vanilla. Praline note is cherry on top. I do not detect anything common with Prada-Candy even though some notes are similiar. L’elixir is fruity, powdery but not dry, playful and chic.

This is a wow vanilla! Unfortunately it has been discounted but definitely get your hands on this if you can find at reasonable price! This is a powdery vanilla, that is candied with floral notes. The longevity is not the best on me and sillage is close to skin. I can see how this is compared to Prada Candy but this is much more defined candy. I layer this with florals sometimes. This can be a great sweater weather scent! Recommended 8/10 only because the longevity isn’t the greatest unless layered with something else.

@CarolinaM007 I love this too and am running out of my last, precious bottle. Shobi perfumery in Greece makes a top dupe and ships worldwide. Since I am based in Europe, I look for dupes of discontinued fragrances mainly here (Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Germany and Ireland): hope this helps.

This is the best Kenzo in my opinion. It is very powdery with whiffs of raspberry. Unfortunately it falls flat and does not transform past the powdery profile. I wish there was more sweetness.

This smells EXACTLY like boume vanilla and it is sooo much cheaper. Performance is actually disappointing for a kenzo perfume. I would not recommend spending your coins on this. Get the cheaper dupe trust me. Boume vanilla is it if u like this scent profile. Boume is a tad bit sweeter probably due to the more vanilla in the base

I would recommend checking out Mizensir ‘For your love’. It’s not a dupe but it has a similar feel. It has the raspberry and the same nose created it.

Amazing perfume, such a shame it's discontinued it has such a sweet and slightly sour opening due to the Raspberries and the Mandarin, then it turns fully sweet due to the gourmand and vanilla note in it and the hints of really expansive makeup powders. Overall a really great fragrance for those lucky ladies out there that can get their hands on it. This Story Below has nothing to do with the performance of the Perfume, it's just a story of how lucky I was to get my hands on it. Been at a local store that sells personal hygiene items and daily use stuff, saw that they got a really small section with Perfumes afterwards saw a name of few brands Kenzo was one of them, I asked them if they had Kenzo Flower (The original one from the year 2000) they immediately told me they don't then one staff member said yes we do have one last bottle I saw it it was Flower by Kenzo L 'Elixir didn't really care much about it since I really wanted to get the original one for my mom since she used to wear Kenzo d'ete 1992 so thought it'd be a good idea to get her something from the same manufacture seeing that L 'Elixir was a branch of the original I assumed it wasn't really that big of a deal, I went back home and landed on this page knowing it is a discontinued fragrance from better times I was in shock, I immediately contacted the store to put the bottle aside for me for pickup, snatched the 100mL for a good 80$.

EDIT to my previous review: If you are looking for a dupe, try Blush Cardigan by Bath & Body Works and you will not be disappointed. To my nose they are 90% similar. Blush Cardigan is just a little bit less powdery and the raspberry is more detectable.

It was heavenly and sweet in a way that isn't juvenile.. A deep, fruity and sensual cloud of bliss with the timeless Flower DNA Why would they discontinue it?

Pure raspberry goodness that has a praline running through and a very powdery drydown. I instantly bought this when I smelled it. I’m not a fan of most other Kenzo perfumes especially the flower ones, but this one alone carries the brand for me and that’s why its memorable! This was also the perfume that got me into perfumes, so it has a special place in my heart.
