Just bought this (glass bottle), and it’s extremely short-lived!

This is a very unique, bright floral fragrance with a nice touch of spice lingering in the background. I actually have to be picky with when i wear it because my partner hates most florals that lean towards powderiness. I also have a threshold for floral scents but Im really enjoying this one. It’s not listed in the notes but i do believe there is a hint of cumin to rein the floral notes in. As a certified cumin hater, I am 100% okay with how much is in this because i think it’s necessary for balance. The bergamot is short lived, but I definitely get an array of floral notes with the cedar base. This is one of those fragrances where it’s blended in a way that i can’t really tell WHICH florals I’m smelling. Thats not to say it’s a mess of notes, but giving more of a vibe that it’s 100% intentional. This one is different. One of my favorite bottles in my collection too. I have the newer clear ombré bottle. It’s hot.

I understand that not every man wants to smell like flowers. However, those who don't mind should definitely give Power a try. This fragrance will particularly appeal to fans of Fleur du Male and Infusion d’Homme. It's light, pleasant, and very comfortable to wear, making it a great choice for both younger and older perfume enthusiasts. It won me over effortlessly. I also believe Power is at its best in the spring when flowers are in full bloom. It's perfect to have a fragrance that complements this vibrant season. Additionally, this scent doesn’t lean heavily masculine, so I wouldn’t be surprised if women enjoyed it as well. My rating: Recommended. (6/7)

Kenzo Power is the fragrance that truly began my journey into the world of perfume. I still remember Yerevan in 2008, when all the little perfume shops were filled with ads for it. My obsession started when a close friend bought a bottle and wore it daily. And after going through maybe four 125ml bottles—and nearly twenty years later, it still reminds me of him. The launch was so unique for its time: Kenzo even created a beautiful, mysterious website for the fragrance, complete with acoustic guitar music. I also remember my anxiety when it was sort of discontinued just a couple of years later—it felt too “niche” I guess, for a designer offering back then (how different the fragrance world is today!). Afraid of losing my signature scent, I bought backups. The bottle, designed by Kenya Hara, was marketed as inspired by a sake bottle, and Kenzo still uses that design today. Back then, my collection was small—just 3 or 4 bottles—and Power was my everyday fragrance. Soft, powdery, and mysterious, it was unlike anything else. The “imaginary flower” note, blended with gentle spices and balsams, made it both abstract and comforting. Created by Olivier Polge, it remains one of his most underappreciated works. To this day, I haven’t found anything quite like Power. When I think about it, my current signature, 1272 by Perfumehead, feels like a distant relative—maybe that’s why I connect with it so strongly. I’m happy Kenzo Power is still in production. I bought the recent transparent bottle edition, and while it has small differences (likely due to reformulations), it stays very close to what I remember. I also own a silver bottle from around 2017–2018, which smells slightly richer, but both capture the essence. I’d still love to find a sealed 2008 original someday. There was even a short-lived flanker—Kenzo Power Cologne—a spicier, fresher twist that disappeared almost immediately. Gorgeous in its own way. Kenzo Power will always be in my collection. To me, it’s one of those rare perfumes that feels deeply personal, tied to memory, place, and time—truly a hidden gem in the designer world.

Violet powdery vanillic balsamic perfum,I get tons of ionenes and ambery notes here with touch of Tolu balsam,it's nice classy perfume nothing spectacular. 7/10

Is this indeed back? I’m reading people mentioning it’s back with new bottle but no mention of the silver original. Or is this a new flanker because from what I remember, there was a glass bottle cologne version and the silver bottle with silver top which I saw first and everywhere which is the Kenzo power edt “fraiche” and the glass bottle with white top is the Kenzo power EDT.

I didn't notice Kenzo Power was discontinued until a coup[le of years after the fact, as it was still everywhere. Now it's been silently relaunched in a glass bottle and it's so nice it's back as I've always considered it an iconic and memorable fragrance. I remember it vividly from the time it came out, a friend of mine was dousing in it, and although I don't recall why exactly, it seemed quite in line with the zeitgeist then. It is boldly floral, yes, but on the other hand, there is also that softened masculinity trope of the time, represented by cedar, light amber and cardamom, a pacifying accord giving a certain dryness and a certain mainstream camouflage for that big synthetic flower explosion. A floral-woody concoction in the vein of VCA Bois d'Iris, but brighter, louder, creamier and more floral. Iris has a strong presence indeed, but as the most obvious part of an abstract spring bouquet, flower stems and green tea on the side. Now that I see the pyramid in Fragrantica, there's a heart note called simply "flowers" and I so much agree with that! As in the expression "He bought flowers". I immediately imagine a florist shop and the big ones, not so famous for their essence but for the way they look, their smell amplified with synthetic means in the spirit of Comme des Garcons 2, that is - not pretending to be the real thing after all. And I like it for that. As many things Kenzo, it projects a pacifist vibe, neither seductive nor aggressive - yes, it is this kind of power. Great, although certainly stuck in its time period.

This is a beautiful masculine scent, I am glad that is coming back. It's fizzy, powdery, slightly sweet. I love to smell this on my husband.

I think the uniqueness of this fragrance is flowers scent which feels masculine. Yes it is not a complicated perfume and the price is nice, but as with all Kenzo, it is fresh, clean, and flowery. I know only 1 other flowery fragrance that feels masculine - Cartier L`envol. They are different but remain.

I'm gonna sound like such a big snob but once you try niche, indie and artisanal scents, and then go back to mainstream designer scents, it's like a punch in the face. The scent pyramid is a joke -- there's nothing remotely spicy about this! And cedar??? Are you kidding me? This is an AROMACHEMICAL mess, and it should be celebrated! Okay, maybe nobody will buy a scent if the label says Cis-3Hexanol, or something like that, but CHRIST ALMIGHTY, I can't imagine ever spraying this and thinking to myself "Ah yes, clearly coriander seed and cardamom!" At best, there is a vague resin base with a quasi-citrus top and some VAGUE floral sweetness that appears in the mid, other than that, I can't see how anyone can think there is anything natural smelling about this. And the scent itself ROCKS -- it works on SO many levels -- it caters to the hyper-femme floral category and even the woody-amber base lovers. But yeah, seriously now, this doesn't smell like anything in the pyramid.

This is the first ever perfume I bought, back in 2019. I have never worn perfume before that, and I wanted to have a signature perfume (now that idea is long gone lol). I spent maybe an hour+ in Sephora smelling different popular brands until I stumbled upon Kenzo Power. It really stood out to me. There is something I cannot quite describe about this fragrance. It doesn't try to "smell like" something : it is fresh and citrusy but I don't know what kind of citrus it is. It has some facets that are uncommon but very addicting, like the coriander and cardamom. The blending is so well made that when you smell it on someone, you just go "oh that smells good". The biggest downside is the longevity of this thing. It is one of the freshies that sadly doesn't last very long. But it is quite affordable, especially on discounters here in France, so I sometimes overspray just a little bit and I also carry it in my bag wherever I go. It was my signature scent for a long time, and now that I bought another bottle, it has become my go-to, swiss-army-knife frag. If you are looking for a perfume to wear all year-round, there are definitely better options out there. But for a summer freshie, I can't recommend this enough.

This is a childhood fragrance. I would pay 100$ to rebuy it if available. My parents bought this back in 2010. If I remember correctly, it smells unique for a floral fragrance, and the mix of notes is complex, making it more exciting. If I get to smell this again, I will feel deeply nostalgic; maybe the more expensive "TF Soliel Neige." can replace it, but not as effective as this one. The bottle design is BOLD like a "Silver Surfer." Overall, this is one of my favourite fragrances of all time.

I absolutely love this scent. This is definitely one of my favourite perfumes. It's unique yet recognisable. My absolute favourite is YSL la Nuit del Homme and this one is kind of a powdery version of that. They are similar in some ways and that is probably the reason I love them both. My purchase of this scent back in the days was actually accidental. It was supposed to be a gift but I ended up getting one for my self also and I have been in love ever since. I only use it on very special occasions since I know it has been reformulated and so on. I ve been trying to find a clone or something similar to it so I can spray away to my heart's content. I will eventually try the cologne version too but until then this will remain my treasure and " my precious..."

Smells like fizzy powder. It's not masculine in any way. I have no idea why so many love this scent.

Just bought this. Possibly the best £28 I have ever spent on a fragrance. Yes it is floral. It is not the typical 'male' fragrance, I guess, but so what? I have a small decant of Tom Ford's Soleil Neige and the two are very alike. Certainly in the long dry down. No contest in terms of value for money between the two. One other thing - the flacon is a thing of beauty indeed. I can't believe I paid less than £30 for a 60ml powerhouse. Bravo!

Similar scent style as the Dior Homme line, in the same category are also Cartier Declaration Parfum and even Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum 2017 although this one is different. You don't need balls, like some say, to wear this, it is powdery yes a bit, but not so feminine and almost not flowery at all. Power in the name can refer to staying power. Edit: In the dry down it's same as Amouage Myths - which is a clone of Kenzo with added ash note and more luxurious

This has not been discontinued but repackaged like the other kenzo bottles. How do i know? I contacted Kenzo because im not giving the scalpers thinking they have another "discontinued gem" a dime ;)

Vanilla, bergamot and cardamom combine with abstract florals. Japanese flora maybe? The cedar note is really weak on me. For that matter the florals seem quite short-lived too. Consistently finishes creamy, powdery, vaguely green, a bit spicy, and above all, sweet. The amber-like base notes of tolu balsam and labdanum seem to contribute little too. This is untypical of the Kenzo creations I've previously encountered: Homme and Jungle. I absolutely love Kenzo Homme, but not Jungle. Power is like neither. Initially underwhelmed, subsequent wearings tempted me to reassess it. But ultimately, its denouement of weak citrus and talcum powder dashed my curiosity. I neither like nor dislike Power. I'm unmoved by it. The name 'Power' seems incongruous. 'Empower' perhaps? (But maybe that sounds like a BMW or a power tool.) Unless there's a 'd' missing and it was meant to be named 'Powder'. The high-mirror finish of the beautiful flacon is eye-catching. Batch 1EO1.

I first wore this back in 2010. I don´t have the knowledge of some "master perfumers" here, that love to discuss the notes, the ingredients and say the perfum is generic or synthetic (just idiotic remarks...), but I do have olfatory memory. And this is the same scent, the same projection, the same longevity as the one I used back in 2010. This is f.....kg great!!!! Nevermind the "master perfumers" idiots and the uber remarks of generic or synthetic (aren´t perfums all synthetic?!). This shit smells good, stays all day long and has a monster projection. That´s it!!! If u like floral scents, you´re going to love this juice!!

It is a Great Floral Amber Woody with Spicy undertone scent, Kenzo Power or A Flower for Men. It is hard to find , If you like a Floral and Unique perfume ,You will like this one. It opens up with like fresh spicy , citrusy , warm spices and floral notes in the background then dry down is sweet ambery woody. This is perfect for the spring and fall. Special Thanks to Scent Land and Max Forti on YouTube, I bought it blind-buy ! I really enjoy it and I'm so happy that I have it in my collection. Longevity is good. Thumbs Up. Rating : 8 / 10

I think that this one got discontinued. It is no longer on Kenzo website and it is hard to find it online. The funny thing is that it had also disappeared sometime before 2013 and came back circa 2017 but a bit reformulated. I first encountered Kenzo (flower) Power - yes, there is a flower drawing hidden between the words Kenzo and Power - when I got a free sample with another purchase nearly a decade ago. I stumbled upon the sample a few years later - it was forgotten with some other samples in a box - and I fell in love with it! It was a bit hard to find it because it was no longer available at retail stores, so I had to try to find it online. I can see why this one was never popular, florals for men are hard to promote and men are afraid to wear something like that, in order not to smell like "girls". Especially nowadays when Savauge and Aventus sell like crazy and everyone wants to smell like that, I can understand the reason why this is probably discontinued. For me perfumes have no gender and everyone should wear whatever they like. I always wear the perfumes in order to feel nice and confident and I don't give a damn what others may think. The truth is that Kenzo Power is actually a niche release, a very brave move for Kenzo to release such a scent back in 2008. I can see anyone wearing this and feel confident, I always say that in the dry down I detect elements of the original Dior Homme, the perfumer is the same actually. There are lots of florals in the opening, together with Bergamot and Cardamon. Longevity and projection is good. I also have to say that I absolutely love the bottle, which was actually inspired by a sake drink bottle.

Literally one of the worst perfumes I've smelled. It smells toxic, like an extremely poisonous flower. Absolutely vile.

Did anybody notice the new transparent bottles for this juice ? Does this mean the essence has been reformulated ? Would be curious to see if any other reviewers are detecting any differences from the newly-produced batches..

VEry uplifting. Floral and (therefore?) unisex, I think. Reminds me of no 1 for men by Clive Christian. Performance is not too good, which is a shame. 7,5/10

Power has an aura. It's one of the fragrances where you may put your nose to your skin and think it's quite subtle and diaphanous, but as it warms on the skin there is this radiance that belies this seeming translucency. Did you know that coriander is one of the key ingredients to the Coca-Cola formula? In Power's opening, there is both coriander and cardamom, and the linalool content of the former with the camphoraceous spiciness of the latter impart an effervescence, fizzy, a foam saturating the floral heart that is vaguely jasmine, rose, freesia, violet perhaps. With the cinnamic tolu in its base and a general resinous fixation to the floral heart, we get that "florals marinated in cola" effect, which reminds me of a more sheer and warm weather friendly Youth Dew with modern elements. I love it. Several hours into its development, this prepossessing accord dries into a sensuous, mildly ambery, cedary talc with nary a sharp woody amber aromachem to be detected (what a relief, this was 2008). Just gorgeous, like a song that fades out very slowly. Can we also talk about how difficult it is to photograph this beautiful mirrored bottle? It took me dozens of attempts to get to one photo that looked halfway decent.

I'm on my 3rd bottle of this stuff. It is maybe my favourite fragrance for daily wear - clean, fresh, pleasant... has something about it that just makes me feel upbeat. Can be worn in more or less any season and can be worn casually or formally. The note breakdown above lists "flowers" as the mid note but truthfully I've always associated this with being very masculine. A true staple - no flankers that I can think of and a unique bottle. Heard it has been discontinued but that would be a travesty quite frankly

Ohhh man.. to me Power is quite incredible. I do get all that "floral powder" and "pepsi/cola/amber thing with powdery flowers", as well as the "is barely nothing on a paper strip". What I also get is a very similar feel and smell to the current weather we're at right now in Northern Europe. The weather (sometimes also called as early Spring) where you can still find large areas covered in clean white snow and ice, yet the weather is warm and sunny enough so that the clean and cold is contrasted with the warm, melting earth and flora around you. All weirdly mixed. I'm right now realising again how quickly that exact weather actually passes and appreciating it all the more. Even more so I might appreciate flipping a finger again to whoever told you or me, how perfume is just scented liquid or about smelling nice :)) Power might not be for everyone, even if I find it oh so pleasing, easy and gentlemanly. Classy yet somehow modern, but I do feel like someone could consider it to smell bit "too classy" I guess. I keep wondering how the listed notes created this perfume, or more so the feeling. To me the notes seem quite heavy, but I'd wear this during summer too, no question. At any moment almost. I feel like this smells of a very classy but cool person, who is not afraid to smile either :)

Prada infusion d'homme upon opening, smells similar to a fizzy drink (sprite, 7up). I prefer this since it morphs into something warmer in the dry down compared to Prada Infusion which stays mellow and soapy. I have bought a couple of 125ml bottles of this stuff (I will be wearing this often for sure), very easy to wear on almost any occasion (apart from a formal event). I wear this fresh out of the shower and I layer it with Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua - leaves me feeling fresh and clean on a spring/summer day. Out of my collection this one sits towards the front, an easy reach to be worn daily. Highly recommend if you like Prada Infusion d'homme.
