This is one of my favorite Warm fragrances. I love it for fall and Winter mostly but Spring and Summer I prefer as an evening fragrance. To my nose, at first spray, I smell sweet, dark Black Currant. As it starts to set I smell prominent Sweet Pea with the additional soft florals coming through. As it settles into the skin I can really smell that sweet chewy Nougat and warm Amber. Scent trail, is a warm sweetness. Amber and Nougat, juicy Black Currant with soft Sweet Pea, Gladiolus and subtle Rose. Love at first sniff, wish it was as available when it first released.

Slightly sweet, warm, more of a night scent. It’s the sweet pea giving the sweet floral but it’s very warm and dark. Wish it was a tad stronger.

I had this in 2013, it's sweet ,warm and easy to like

Eh. I sniffed the atomizer of this at Kohl's in the 2010s and remember this strong syrupy blackcurrant scent. I also adore the bottle for the color, shape, and charm. Trying it now in 2023, the pink pepper overwhelms the composition IMO. it's not the worst thing I ever smelled, but it reminds me of pencil shavings because there is just too much spice. Even as it dries down, it gets a bit smoother and sweeter, but not my cup of tea at all. Like Pour Elle Sparkling, I would happily decant the entire contents to give away all the liquid and keep the bottle. But, I will sell it as is.

I find this very similar to Boucheron Quatre Absolu de Nuit, which I also own, especially at the beginning. But then Absolu de Nuit goes boozy nutty vanilla and the chemical smell fades, whereas this goes a nutty suede, becomes more unisex, and a chemical aroma creeps in. All things considered, I think I prefer the Quatre but I’m keeping an open mind. Could be an interesting base for layering. Edit 2023: I have a strong dislike of tonka and that’s predominantly what this smells like to me now. It’s not a bad scent (particularly if you like tonka-type scents) but I’m downsizing and it doesn’t make the cut. Neither does Quatre Absolu de Nuit btw—this is a serious purge!

Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle – what a cozy, lovely fragrance this is. It opens with a burst of sweet berries and very subtle soft florals, and settles into a soothing sweet amber with just a touch of spiciness, perfect for cool autumn days or evenings. I can see the resemblance to other scents mentioned here, such as Manifesto, Mon Guerlain and Addict, yet I still feel that the Lacoste is not a true smell-alike to any of them. If you are a lover of warm amber scents such as I am, I recommend trying this one.

Анонім★★★★★

Definitely very pepper heavy, but I really enjoy it, especially when combined with the sweetness of nougat. The comparisons to Mon Guerlain are correct, they have the same soothing quality. For that reason, I enjoy wearing this at night.

So I thought at first that it would be close to L.12.12 Pour Elle Magnetic when I first sprayed it, and yea I get something along those lines at the silage after 30 mins, that milky sweet almost like tuberose scent of the Pour Elle Magnetic, but this is heavier, kinda syrupy, darker! When it sat on my skin for 3 mins I got really strong Simply Pink by Pink Sugar vibes, crazy. Same exact sensation of the licorice sweet praline effect of Simply Pink, only thing this one is much lighter and not sickly sweet so alot more wearable. Must be the nougat and amber with the black currant, which thank God doesnt smell like sour pop corn on my skin like it usually does. Also at the top the first 20-30 mins, when I smell up close I am getting that pink pepper so intense, very reminiscent of Black opium's pink pepper, cuz I smell something fizzy peppery and bright and so Black Opium came to my mind. I look it up and see pink pepper there too! Its crazy how our noses work. BO also has licorice, and the nougat kinda smells like licorice to me here. The pink pepper stays prominent for quite awhile. The middle notes come forth later and even tho I kinda hate rose, it is beautiful here with the sweet pea and gladiolus, so the perfume becomes brighter less dark, alittle more pink in my mind, like the Pour Elle Magnetic. The syrupy element (of Simply Pink) remains at the core of this fragrance till the very end, always reminding me of Simply Pink, and of the tonka of the Pour Elle Magnetic. I am also sensing a slight herbal, peppery vibe and it's probably the black currant - with the rose the effect is slightly oriental, reminiscent of Manifesto, but softer. The black currant's green pop-cornish scent is rounded here by the syrupy-resin base notes, so I love it. Overall very beautiful scent and unique and makes me wanna buy Manifesto actually which is heavier, but with these two it's the only time black currant smells good on me. Do you need it if you have the Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Magnetic? I think you do if you want a more syrupy sweet and darker version of that, like Magnetic with a Simply Pink licorice-like veil on. Update: So after writing this review, I just saw Simply Pink suggested in the reminds me of list. So Im glad Im not alone here making that association. People shouldnt down-vote it. There is strong Simply Pink sweet licorice vibe in this from the first spray till its last stage.

Wow, wow and wow. Yummy, warm, subtle and sooo cozy. I have and love Mon Guerlain and have tried Manifesto and agree, they are similar. That said, this one to me is far more wearable. With MG it's a powerhouse and find myself reaching for it less and less. This Lacoste is so good and so ADDICTIVE. I don't think I've smelled anything I like so much since I found Max Mara Kashmina (not comparing these two at all, I just love them both). Totally safe blind buy. Big love for this one!

Анонім★★★★★

Sweet for sure, like nougat and sweet pea. Very light and not a lot of anything but faintly sweet. Nice and wearable but not remarkable or distinct enough for me to make it my signature.

Анонім★★★★★

Smells almost identical to YSL Manifesto after 10 minutes, slightly softer, not as sweet, and almost imperceptibly less floral. Pretty and unassuming; a gentle warm fragrance perfect for summer nights and fall days. As one who enjoys a great French perfume, I do not agree that this has a headiness to it, although it exudes a mild sensuality. Overall, an easy to wear gourmand perfume.

Анонім★★★★★

This is one of my favourites! This i wear alot! Love the nice smell, it stays on me for many hours even to the day after!! Nice cool bottle nice color. Love it

It was a blind buy again for me because the notes and the comments made me really really curious about it I was pretty sure that I'm going to in love with it but the situation is a little complicate right now At first sniff it reminded me Lancome Hypnose a lot, and I started to wait to get that famous nougat touch but it didn't never show up on me 😕 It's very peppery and sharp, there is absolutely no sweetness at all I'm really surprised and bored right now because this is a little strange Not bad, gonna give another shot on colder days bu it clearly wasn't what I expected to get

After eyeing this perfume and having it on my "want" list for about a year...all of a sudden the price dropped drastically on Ebay so I got the big 3 oz bottle. Now onto the scent... I can honestly say that this smells as I imagined it would given the listed notes. This perfume is one that it's easier to describe by accords as opposed to individual notes. Initially at first blast...I get a sweet / spicy smell and within minutes...the floral notes start to peek through. In a nutshell?......It basically smells like sweet Nougat + spicy flowers. It's sweet without being juvenile which I really enjoy. Still, I wouldn't pay department store prices for it. I'm sure at a department store, this would sell for $60-$80. I like this perfume but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it. If you like sweet scents but don't wanna smell like a teenager...I recommend trying this. This one I will only be wearing in the cooler months. Mostly late fall and throughout the winter. Strength is a nice "moderate" also so you can easily pull this perfume off at the office. Longevity - 4-5 hours. Projection - Moderate for 1-2 hours. Maybe 2 feet. Then gets quieter after the 2 hour mark. I spray this one generously to give it some added performance...I use about 10 sprays on arms and neck. Overall score - 8/10. I own the original "Lacoste Pour Femme" perfume also which I absolutely LOVE. I think I'll be buying more from this house. I voted above with a "like" but it's deff a strong like in my collection. I'll put this one away for the rest of the summer but will be getting this one out again come November. Thumbs up Lacoste!

I was very surprised by this fragrance! Even though I don't like sweet gourmand fragrances, nougat is one of my favorite deserts, for that reason I tried it when it was recommended to me a couple of years ago by a SA in a small perfumery shop. I loved it and bought it right away at a very affordable price. The most impressive note is that of nougat, creamy sweet and nutty, mixed with amber, pink pepper, red flowers and black currant. Interesting and quite unique combo. The sweetness is nicely balanced by fruits and flowers, making it very suitable for every day, every season.

Анонім★★★★★

This perfume smells like Dior Poison Girl eau de Toilette. The dry down is almost exactly the same. Dior is more vanilla while sensuelle is more nougat. Both elegant and delicious! Also smells like mon guerlain but minus the lavender.

Анонім★★★★★

ohh my... sweet, lush, seductive and underated I keep smelling myself. True cold weather gem 👌 ps. get a sample because it does lean towards unisex. 9/10

Анонім★★★★★

Sweet and creamy, dark, a bit spicy and borderline masculine but I find that often makes the sexiest women's perfume. The florals are noticeable. It does have a nutty vibe coming from the unique nougat note you don't see often in perfumes. It's sexy but not cheap. It's one of the few sexy and sensual fragrances that don't rely on fruity vanilla notes. This is an evening, date night kind of fragrance. Any season but the summer heat will kick up a notch.

I have a sample that I recently tried on. After one spritz I thought I loved it and was ready to order a full bottle. I gave myself two more spritzes to see what I like about it. Not a good idea... It gave me a headache and I had to wash it off. Pass.

I blind bought this perfume just by reading the comments on this site. The perfume smells like a bouquet of spicy white flowers sprinkled with creamy nuts and lightly sprayed over with a musky/sweet touch. It’s definitely an elegant smell, very classy and sensual. I imagine this is something a business woman in a blue dress/suit would smell like; confident, classy, and exquisite.

Анонім★★★★★

Pretty! The almond-nougat accord is very musky and soapy, so the fragrance is a gourmand but doesn't smell completely edible. This fragrance could be a cousin to Bvlgari's Mon Jasmin Noir, because they both have that white musk + almond accord, but Lacoste is a little more soft and deep, while Bvlgari is sparkling white floral. I wish it lasted a little bit longer on skin, though! For a fragrance that is comprised mostly of mid and base notes, it really should last longer than it does. But either way Lacoste Sensuelle is a nice fragrance that I enjoy smelling.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a lovely sweet/fruity perfume that is not sickly sweet like most gourmand perfumes are to me. This is for someone who likes/ or is looking for fragrances that are reminiscent of sweet gourmand yet not sickly sweet or headache inducing. I really like this it reminded me of Always Red which is a cheaper dupe of Sí by Giorgio Armani but is more berry/fruity. It dries down to sweet/amber but with flowery/berry in the background with an edge from he pink pepper. It's very lovely scent that should be given more attention. It's nicer than Sí and has a nicer dry down and isn't sickly sweet. I do agree with the bottle being dark that it is scent more suited for evening/night but if used lightly can be a daytime fragrance too! Edit: This is a dupe for Guerlain Mon Guerlain! I had a sample of Mon Guerlain and sprayed it on my wrist and I was thinking, ok...this smells familiar and "lightbulb" yes Lacoste Sensuelle! I went and and got my Lacoste Sensuelle and sprayed it on the other write and they are nearly identical the dry down is a little different where Lacoste Sensuelle dries down to sweet nougat scent vs. Guerlain Mon Guerlain dries down to lavender vanilla.

Анонім★★★★★

This is very beautiful and it is similar to Mauboussin Elixir Pour Elle.

Анонім★★★★★

Gorgeous, gorgeous scent for women. Really love this fragrance. So soft and sensual, yet it has a very good performance. Not too heavy, good for work. This fragrance is indeed an attention seeker. Got compliments everytime I wear this fragrance.

Анонім★★★★★

Lovely fragrance, It reminds me somehow of sí intense, but this is more on the sweet side, whereas sì intense is more mature and less sweet, I prefer this one more!! But I wouldn’t repurchase it again, it’s quite forgettable, nothing unique!

Анонім★★★★★

Sweet, heavy berry scent at first with a little amber and musky rose right away. After a few hours the amber and nougatine takes over and in the dry down vanilla comes forward. A very complex and interesting scent that probably speaks to someone older than 30. The bottle suits the dark side of the perfume and that it´s mainly for the cold season as well as the evening. If you prefer how the scent performs the first 1-2 hours and would like less of the amber and more sweetness I would recommend the Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Magnetic. It´s very clear that they share the same label.

This is beautiful! I blind bought Eau Sensuelle Lacoste, and when I first tried it on my skin, it reminded me of a fragrance but I couldn't pinpoint which one. Then I read the comments below, and it came back to me: Mon Guerlain! I had received a sample of Mon Guerlain a little while ago, and Eau Sensuelle Lacoste is very similar to me. So now I'm wearing both to compare, and although they are not exact dupes, it's surprisingly close on my skin. This Lacoste fragrance is indeed sensual, elegant, warm and a tad spicy. I smell vanilla, which is not a note in here, so I guess it's the nougat playing that role. It's soft gourmand, floral (I don't get the rose, and I have no idea what sweet pea or gladiolus smell like, but I get "floral"). I'm happy there is amber and no patchouli in this as patch doesn't like me! This scent is long lasting. Signature worthy and more suited for cold weather in my opinion. Love it!

Анонім★★★★★

This is not a girly teenage gourmand scent, It is a mature gourmand. I'm not too fond of spice and musk in a perfume because my skin tends to project these two notes the most, cover all the other notes and make the perfume smells masculine. So far, there are only two perfumes that have spice notes that I love, Chloe Narcisse and this one. Don't smell this perfume directly from the bottle, it will turn you off. You have to spray it on your skin to really smell the true scents. The opening smells like blackcurrant syrup on my skin with a very little sweet pea. Then after 10 seconds, the pink pepper, amber, rose and nougat show up make a beautiful, mature, sexy scent. The dry-down vanilla, nutty, amber, and spice blend together, creating a really nice sensual scent. Many people say Juicy Gold Couture is one of the sexiest perfumes for women, I love that perfume and agree to some extent. To me Gold Couture smells sexy and that's about it, while Lacoste Eau de Sensuelle smells sexy, seductive, mysterious AND sensual. Sillage and longevity are great, the scent smells expensive, also my male friends love this a lot. For these qualities, you really can't beat the price.

Анонім★★★★★

It is surprising to me that this has pink pepper in it. I almost didn't even test this because I don't care for that note, but it's a good thing I never exclusively stick to my test list. It's very similar to mon jasmine noir by Bvlgari in that both have nouget as a top note so both have this creamy nutty aroma that translates to me as mysterious or just slightly "dark". Sensuelle is fruitier and more tart and mon jasmine noir is more floral and soft. Both make me think of summer nights and understand elegance, or casually elegant so basically a country club scent.

Es un olor bastantw peculiar dificil de escribir, dulce un poco especiado y con una nota de uva floral. Rico como para usar en la noche durante unas vacaciones en la playa. El poder duradero es bueno.
