The perfect pink fragrance. Housed in a tastefully designed flacon that is minimalistically feminine and beautiful, it contains a sweet scent for a little princess: delightful yet surprisingly mature at the same time. It caresses the senses with simple pleasure, yet avoids slipping into sugary banality. At first, juicy fruits, berries, take the lead, smelling like ripe summer fruit. Then come the florals, forming a delicate, romantic bouquet. Finally, the base reveals a very subtle, almost imperceptible balsamic nuance that elevates the composition, setting it apart from similar fragrances and adding a touch of complexity. The little princess gently transforms into a young woman. A beautifully presented sweetness in a French, feminine style: refined, well-crafted, and distinctive. Unfortunately, longevity is rather ethereal, with sillage ranging from moderate to intimate.
Dreamcatcher's Sua uses this, added to my wishlist
This smells like people who have smoked cigarettes for 10+ years. But put them in the 2000s specifically. I don't smell anything but a dull fruity 2000s perfume 20% and then 80% nasty cig smell. Unwearable unfortunately. The notes listed on this page literally describes my favorite perfume profile. I'm a sucker for rose with raspberry and / or blackberry usually. Not this one though. Who wants to smell like cigarettes ughhhhh
This is what innocence smell like for me. It's feminine, delicate, soft, not too loud and not trying too hard. It is generic in sense of DNA profile (sweet/juicy/floral) but it's not generic in sense of the actual scent. I've had my bottle for 10 years and the juice is better than ever. The same DNA as the discontinued Gucci II but sweeter. For me this is something I'll always have, perfect for those days when you're feeling extra feminine and calm.
Average fruity floral perfume with bitterness at the start bc of blackberry & lemon notes. I don’t hate it. But I think you can find smth more interesting for spring-summer time
This was my one and only perfume for many years throughout middle and high school, and I absolutely adored it. Over all those years, I received so many compliments wearing it - more than I ever got from any niche fragrance. Even now, I still think it’s a very beautiful, delicate, and girly fragrance that, in my opinion, is hard not to like. It has a subtly fruity-berry scent, perhaps with light floral hints, and it feels very fresh. There’s almost nothing about it that I would call off-putting. It’s perfect for young girls. I’ve seen some recent reviews saying the fragrance has changed and smells a bit different now, but I can’t really comment on that since I haven’t smelled it anywhere for a very long time. Nowadays, it might feel a bit simple or even boring for me, but sometimes I catch myself thinking that maybe, someday, I’ll buy it again.
I tested it because of the rose notes, but it wasn’t what I expected at all. It’s very lemony, sharp, and green — and quite alcoholic too. All I really get is lemon and raspberry, maybe 1% rose 😄. It has a cheap vibe; honestly, a lot of deodorants smell like this. اصلا نت رز حس نمیکنم. فقط الکل لیمو و رزبری. بوی چیپ و دئودورانتی
very subtle, a nice basic fresh (a little fruity) fragrance, definetly elegant and quiet, good for everyday use
I’m hella confused!! It smells very dry and woody to me. especially when i first bought it 😐 i can definitely see why people are mentioning a smoke note but now after letting it sit for couple of weeks, i can smell more of the fruits and fresh elements of the scent but its still pretty woody and dryyy as hell DEFINITELY NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY I don’t hate it but its not what i expected at all, but after all i think it’s growing on me 🔴update: ok never mind this just needed to sit for like 3 months it smells amazing now!!
Im getting pepper with raspberry from start to finish (which is about 15 minutes) lol. ZERO lasting power
Pretty, delicate fruity floral. Raspberry is prominent and the peony is fresh, dewy and lovely. I like how it smells, but, sadly, after 1hour it’s gone from my skin. Sillage and projection are also near to non existent. If you really love this fragrance, you will most likely need to respray it few times a day to make it last.
When worn in warm weather above 80F, the cigarette smoke comes out. Reminiscent of Lanvin Me. Very well done. Still light enough for spring/summer.
I can barely smell this so it might be a good first perfume for a kid. What I can smell reminds me of Chanel Chance Eau Splendide. It's not an exact match but kinda on the same ballpark. It stays close to the skin for me and although I've been looking for something LIKE Eau Splendide, I've been looking for it because Eau Splendide disappears really fast imo. Jeanne Lanvin disappears even faster though so. However, if you're GOING to buy a sweet little clean girl perfume that disappears right away and nobody can smell I feel like maybe it would be more cost effective to not smell Jeanne Lanvin rather than not smelling Chanel. Js.
I just bought this for my daughter's.They absolutely love fragrance. Probably because I am a total fraghead and fragrance is my favorite hobby lol. Until now I have only let my daughters wear body sprays. But both of them asked for "real perfume" hehe. I'm VERY happy that I choose to get this. Absolutely perfectly gorgeous and so innocent 😇 It's absolutely perfect for my girls. And they will remember their first perfume forever ❣️
Your friend that is beautiful and sweet but likes to get into mischief - that is my association for this perfume! It is a fresh and crisp fruity floral with a bit of a kick from the blackberry + lemon combo. It starts fresh and juicy, quite light floral and fruity. I like that there is no alcoholic opening and can be sniffed right away (could also be related to why it does not last that long) Then after a few minutes it gets spicier - a dark, powdery, peppery even ashen spice. Reminds me of drinking blackberry juice, it is quite strong and a familiar sensation hit my nose when smelling this. It's nice to get the fragrance without actually drinking the juice (which I only recommend for the brave) I like it, as there are not a lot of options regarding spicy fruit, usually you get it from herbs or blackcurrant but blackberry (and rhubarb) are great as they does not have this urine smell that some fragrances with cassis have, which is the usual choice for a spicy note I've notice perfumes like to use. If you have any other spicy fruit/berries you can recommend, I would be glad to hear! The sillage at this moment is great, I feel the spicy fragrance for 2-3h around me. Lovely. The dry down is quite nice - soft sweet fragrance that maintains it's freshness. Unfortunately I only feel it when sniffing my wrist, it is very subtle. So hard to say about longevity, 3h sure but then for the dry down, as I don't pick it up, I'm not sure how long it lasts with projecting but I can feel it on my wrist even after 6h.
No one was mentioning a cigarette smell until 2023, I wonder what that is about. I'll have to try it in hot weather and report back, I think I would actually LIKE that kind of smell.
This smells like walking into a smoker's house, and it's currently bath time for the toddlers that live there. I kind of hate it, but I'm also kind of addicted to it.. My friends don't get any of the old cigarette smoke apparently, so maybe it's one of those genetic things? When it dries down, it becomes very fresh and light, definitely raspberries in there. There's a note that's identical to the Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo my nephew used to use (I think it was purple) I can't even rate this - I'm so confused. All that being said, I have been reaching for it nonstop this week, so make of that what you will lol Edit: well, one month later and I love it 🤷It's so comforting to me in the very cold weather. The deep green and dark berries make for a good non-gourmand winter option !
I love a blackberry/currant peony floral. Jeanne is a perfect winter scent for me, it smells like berries on snow.
I adore Lanvin fragrances and used to associate exactly this scent with my high school. For the sake of nostalgia, I've recently bought a new bottle. The perfect blend of mellow peony and juicy zestiness strike me right off the bat. Weirdly though, I've started smelling the smoky note which turns out to be a black sheep in the pyramid. Nonetheless, 5 out of 5. Can't stop loving it.
My sweetie 😊 I fell in love with Jeanne many years ago when it was launched. That time it was rather expensive but I had to have it. Now I still adore the lovely blackberry. It gives me the sunshine vibes, surrounding me with the summer feeling. The fruit here is ripe, sweet and projects as juicy as possible. Although I love the smell of real roses, usually I don't prefer perfumes with the rose note because I find it not realistic. Here, however, I don't detect the usual artificial rose of some other fragrances. Projection and longevity aren't the strongest ones but for the price it's ok to reapply when necessary. I would recommend this perfume for romantic souls to wear it with airy dresses on sunny spring and summer days when you want to feel pretty and chic 🥰
I recently purchased a 30ml of this fragrance as I have been curious for so long about it and I always stopped short of buying it because of the reviews on here which are very mixed. This has a very very light delicate scent which would be perfect in a no or low fragrance environment. It is very pretty. I really don't get what others are saying about the cigarette ash smell, I get absolutely none of that. I will be going through this quickly as I am an oversprayer.
I've had my bottle for over ten years, forgotten on a shelf for years. After a long time I sprayed it, and instantly fell in love. It is so beautiful and elegant, sweet fruity perfume. Perfect for spring and summer. Easy reach, great longevity especially on clothes, I can smell it for days on my jackets! I don't have much left, and I really want to buy another bottle. But reading other comments makes me a little bit hesitant of how much the formula has changed over the years. Edit: Yeah.. So, I bought another bottle, and unfortunately this gorgeous juice has totally been ruined. I don't even know how to describe the smell, just weird musty, cigarette ash and far from the original. This version makes me nauseous, it makes me want to wash my skin immediately. I'm getting tired because of these perfume reformulations. The original version was one of my favorite perfume for spring and summer.
I’m torn. There are two sides to this perfume: There is the dry down which is so light, airy, beautiful, elegant, graceful, innocent, intimate, romantic, etc. Think of the sweetest, most gentle and demure woman, and this is how she would smell like. It’s this spell-binding love potion that leaves you sighing. Now think of this ethereal concoction, and imagine a grouchy lady with hair rollers, a bathrobe, retro glasses, and she’s making this bottle her ash tray! That’s the other side to this perfume. It’s a total head-scratcher moment, like, “what were they thinking when they added those notes?” situation. The struggle I had to go through just to inhale the cherished finale of this fragrance—it was as if I had my first puff of cigarette; I literally started coughing when I first smelled it, then for the next 30 mins it was like someone was blowing smoke in my face, and I had to endure the second-hand smoking because *the best was yet to come*—and I couldn’t even smell Jeanne on me anymore. She was gone with the wind. While I get that the base notes were added to give more depth to the fragrance, it would have been more successful if they had dialled it back some. I admit, it is somewhat of an intriguing combination, like you want to sift through the smog to find the treasure you’re looking for, but it was the scent journey I didn’t ask for. The bottle is impeccable. That’s why I got sucked into buying it. I don’t regret it. It’s affordable, and something I do reach for after I shower or before I go to bed. Kinda confusing after reading my cigarette comments, but I can’t help but reach for that smoke—I mean perfume—my body craves it now.
I tried this perfume years ago and liked it but thought its lasting power was poor. Flash forward to a few days ago when I blind-bought a bottle, sprayed it on my arm, and initially thought it was that lovely berry fragrance I remembered. However, after 3 minutes, it turned into insect repellent on my skin and smelled nothing like what I remembered. Although it was an inexpensive purchase, I wouldn't want this horrible bug spray for free. What the heck did they do to this once-pleasant perfume?
I like this without loving it. I hate pear on me so at first it has this weird horrible sharp note I can't describe, but the pear disappears on the dry down and it becomes a pleasant sweetie skin scent. Interesting description below of menthol cigarette ash...I'm definitely getting something unpleasant initially but later when the raspberry comes through it is nice. I love Anne Flipo, and this is not bad for the price. If you want to smell expensive this is not it. If you want a cheap easy reach day time scent this could work. Sprayed it again. Cigarette ash is a perfect description of the opening. There are so many perfumes to chose from, not sure this is worth having.
Dear Jeanne, fill me the bucket, and it still won’t be enough ))
The user who said that this smells like a scented panty liner really nailed it haha. I don't sense any tangy fruit or berries in this, hardly any flowers either. The sweetness in this fragrance is just a thin blanket of next-to-nothingness. To me, "Jeanne" is mostly an HERBAL BOMB! Like burning sage or methol cigarette ash on a summer's day. Still, it smells very faint and intimate. Definitely an interesting scent, but I'm not sure how to incorporate this into my berry-centered fragrance rotation. I think I'll have to update in 6 months or so to determine how I feel about it.
The first thing I thought of when I smelled this was midnight Fantasy by britney spears, a fragrance I really wanted to love but it just couldn't agree with my olfactory. For that reason Jeanne by Lanvin wasn't love at first scent, but I was curious. It's almost as if this is what I wanted midnight Fantasy to smell like. Both of these scents have raspberry and orchid and I think that is where I smell the similarity, especially the raspberry. With Jeanne, if you do not like raspberry you won't like this scent. It is the dominating feature and gives the scent a bit of a fruity tang especially in the opening. After about 10 minutes it softens up and the florals peer through the fruit. It smells very young ye elegant. Well composed. It's flirty and fun. It's perfumey, doesn't smell cheap. It lasts a decent amount of time. I only got a mini sample bottle so I'm not sure about projection.
Too sweet and bland for me. Cute bottle on the shelf now.
This was a blind buy. It’s weird, someone described it to me as very sweet and candy like. To me it’s not sweet at all, it smells like menthol cigarettes and a sort of shampoo. It’s not awful, I have worn it, but won’t repurchase.
