no matter how many times i’ve sprayed this perfume, nothing can get rid of the harsh alcohol scent.. even once the fragrance dries, the only notes visible are: synthetic sweetener, and an overpowering balsamic finish.. ( ̄ ̄|||) not once have i smelt caramel, and i can’t stand to see the hype for this fragrance any longer.

I usually write long reviews, however in this case I'm not sure what I can say.. I just feel like it's a quite photorealistic eclair, all I can sense is sweet-ish eclair dough. Not the pastry with the glazing itself, just the dough part, therefore the milk and the sweet notes (caramel, honey, sugar) are prominen. I sense little to no praline and absolutely no musk. Usually musk gives me grandma vibes, I guess here the praline just adds a bit of depth. Overall smells pretty good, but not sure whether I'd wanna smell like that. A quite teenage scent, more feminine than unisex, but isn't a stereotypical female cloying perfume. Good price, a pretty nice perfume. 6.5/10

“Eclaire” is actually a genius fragrance, I really adore the way this perfume smells so sweet, warm and loud but soft at the same time. It’s the vanilla perfume I’ve been looking for for years now

After emptying an entire 10 ml decant, I think I've earned the right to say this: Eclaire by Lattafa is dangerously easy to love. I haven't had the opportunity to smell Bianco Latte—it remains frustratingly elusive here in Southeast Asia—but if this is even remotely in the same neighborhood, then I completely understand the hype. To my nose, Eclaire isn't particularly milky. Instead, it smells like warm salted caramel drizzled generously over vanilla, rich without becoming cloying, and irresistibly edible without crossing into candle territory. There is something undeniably comforting about it. This is the kind of fragrance that feels like wrapping yourself in your favorite blanket after an exhausting day. Wear it to bed, and it almost seems to tuck you in for the night, humming a soft lullaby made entirely of caramel and vanilla. If fragrances could give hugs, this one certainly would. Performance is equally delightful. Projection is generous, the scent trail is impossible to ignore, and longevity is more than satisfying. It lingers for hours, happily reminding both you and everyone around you that dessert has, in fact, become a personality trait. And then there were the compliments. I genuinely can't remember the last time a fragrance attracted this much attention. During a single three-hour lecture, I was complimented eight separate times. At that point, I briefly considered introducing myself as "the person who smells like caramel goodness" because apparently everyone else already had. (This was an exaggeration but you get me. lol) The opening isn't completely flawless. There's a slightly sharp, synthetic spicy note that makes a rather dramatic entrance. Fortunately, it's more of a guest appearance than a permanent cast member, disappearing after about twenty minutes before the fragrance settles into the creamy salted-caramel dream I was hoping for. This is one of those rare fragrances that turns a simple "I like it" into "I'd better buy a backup bottle." In my case, make that two. Some perfumes earn a place on the shelf. Eclaire earns a contingency plan. Love love love!

on first spray it smelt like nothing but alcohol. rubbing alcohol and took ages to die down, the scent itself is very very light (maybe its the bottle i tested) and smelt faintly like a polly pocket or childhood toy covered in ice cream. maybe im crazy but i didnt really get the gourmand milky-ness, moreso just candle

Strong alcohol smell at the beginning, lasts long, caramel

Анонім

stape winter gourmand scent that smells very very yummy. this one has a very cozy and creamy undertone that makes me think of warm soft blankets and sweater paws and hot chai tea with milk. wonderful lactonic with a tender caramel note that is very sweet but not cloying—unless of course you attempt to wear this in warm weather which I do not recommend in the slightest, as it can become rather pungent and overwhelming. one of the most beautiful dry-downs in my collection. cannot stop sniffing my wrists. one or two sprays are enough to last you the better portion of the day. lovely lovely lovely winter perfume I can't wait to wear again

Purely nostalgic for me. When I was a kid I had a chocolate-scented candle I wasn’t allowed to light but it was quite yummy and strong-smelling and this perfume really just smells like childhood memories to me. To everyone else you’re going to smell like chocolate, specifically like frozen chocolate like from a fudge-cicle or a creamy chocolate ice cream sandwich or something. Not a bad thing. It lasts a while, too. The sample paper sticks in my purse still smell like it a day later.

This scent truly only works if you love very sweet fragrances. I constantly get compliments when wearing this and have very little complaint especially when you consider the price point. The first whiff you will get after spraying this does come off alcohol forward, but it dries down so beautifully and quickly that to me it’s not a deal breaker. This scent is what made me start my fragrance collection. Buy it!

Анонім

Definitely unisex- i fond it quite simple and linear, just a plain good milky sweet scent. It is absolutely brilliant for layering and adds the missing piece to nearly every fragrance 8/10

Анонім

this is a sugary nightmare. its like putting 7 pumps of caramel syrup on an iced latte. im not a fan of bianco latte either. its like a perfume that gives you a cavity just from wearing it

Анонім

The drydown is great, really similar to Bianco Latte, but the alcohol opening is really jarring. Currently maturing it to hopefully make it go away but it's definitely important to know before you buy that the alcohol is very strong.

Анонім

It took a year....A FULL YEAR for the opening to stop smelling like a flaming, burnt tire on me. It does smell delicious at this point, but I don't know that I want to buy it again in the future, knowing that it takes a year to reach its full potential. It is nearly almost 100% one to one dupe of BL now, maybe better actually-so good. I just tire of the aging process with ME scents.

Lattafa Eclaire Review ⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔ Lattafa Eclaire is a DREAM fragrance for anyone who loves sweet, gourmand perfumes. From the first spray, you’re greeted with rich vanilla, warm caramel, and milky notes. It’s soft creating the impression of a freshly made vanilla cupcakes with cold caramel frosting instead of sugary candy. However, it can have a strong alcohol beginning which does wear off after two mins. ⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔ Performance is excellent, with strong longevity and a noticeable scent trail without being overwhelming. If you’re looking for a fragrance that smells like creamy vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and sweet milk, Eclaire is an excellent choice. ⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔ ⚠️KEEP IN MIND THOUGH; I do get compliments of smelling like coconut AFTER 8 hours of wearing… Coconut isn’t unpleasant, however isn’t my go-to scent. ⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔ Overall: A beautifully blended gourmand that’s rich, comforting, and addictive. It’s an easy recommendation for anyone who wants to smell like a delicious vanilla caramel icecream dessert.🍨 🥛🍯🍦🍮🧸

Synthetically sweet. I hope it can get better but my bottle is new. Not a fan so far.

Mixed opinions. While it is a women's parfum, I do believe it can be unisex because of how effective it is with layering. I'm a male, but I paired it with some other scents, and it blended quite well, getting a lot of compliments at uni from both guys and girls. On its own, I am not a tremendous fan of Eclaire, because it irritates my nose. There's a distinctive burnt smell that is hard to describe, but it's kind of like rubber. There's a harsh alcohol opening that's off-putting, but the dry down on light sprays is good. My sister likes it on its own and finds it an effective dupe for Bianco Latte. I've let it macerate for a few months now, and will probably gift it to her. It's quite polarising, so not a safe blind buy.

It’s a beautiful perfume but is definitely not for me. Too sweet, but if you like sweet vanilla’s you will enjoy it.

I wanted to like this perfume so bad. But for some reason, it has to be in this scent family, but this perfume, that girl vanilla, velvet cream, they all make me wanna throw up. It smells like burnt rubber in leather, and like men’s perfume. I want to love this, but I don’t smell those caramel or milky notes that everybody talks about.

Анонім

My family can literally smell this downstairs when I apply it in my room... crazy sillage and its suuuuper sweet. They describe it on me as a vanilla wafer-like scent (which i loveee). if i oversprayed it would definitely be overkill so..

Анонім

I bought this fragrance out of curiosity (I'm a male). And wow does it smell good ! You get a perfect well blended mix of sweet vanilla, caramel and a photorealistic milk. Sometimes milk notes are really weird and smell like rotted milk but here it's really well done. I can totally agree with the fact that it's feminine leaning but I could also agree it's unisex for a guy, just lightly sprayed. You could be a girl or a guy, you always like someone walking by smelling like vanilla gourmand.

Анонім

I had this for a few months now and I still can't smell anything. It is the weakest, most hollow fragrance I've ever smelled. I get a tiny whiff of sugar, and a tiny, almost undetectable whiff of woods. It smells like pink sugar that you sprayed on a tester strip a week ago. I'm never buying into the hype again, if anything the hype will make me question fragrances more in the future.

Анонім

I really wanted to like this one,I've tried multiple times, since last December when I bought it. On paper,skin,clothes...using diferente kind of lotions, layering with other perfumes. But I just can't stand that harsh alcohol, gasoline opening.

Анонім

Idk if it’s just me and i so badly wanted to love this but it smells like sickly sweet burnt tires. Oh my god. I blind bought it and it was so bad i got a refund from amazon

Анонім

when i first got this is was good, almost bianco latte... but 6 months later it has become almost metallic, not good.

Анонім

this is a beautiful, nostalgic fragrance for me. I smell the cinnamon roasted almonds in the little cart they used to sell at the entrance of a local store as a child. although the notes don’t read heavy cinnamon sugar, that is what my nose is getting. this fragrance is beautiful. I will definitely not get much wear out of it until it cools down here in Michigan, but that gives it time to macerate and only get better. I do see where people are coming from with the alcohol in the opening, but it dissipates quickly. I see the comparison to Bianca Latte as well, which I have felt also smells like my beloved childhood roasted almonds. from what I remember, it’s a pretty close dupe :)

Анонім

Yummy caramel sweet long lasting, over spraying is very very bad because itll eventually start smelling like a tire which is a big turn off

Анонім

I’ll have to let it macerate more, but on initial opening, the flower and the musk tone is a lot more prominent than I expected, and I’m not getting the lactonic vanilla as much. Strong alcohol smell that I am hoping will go away after some time as well. Update: It's been a few weeks since I let the perfume sit, and the alcohol smell decreased significantly (I almost don't smell it anymore), and there's definitely a stronger sugary vanilla note to it now. Very comforting to wear and sits on your skin nicely. Still wishing that it didn't have that slightly spicy flowery note it has to be truly gourmand-y.

Анонім

long lasting, good projection, my mum complimented it which is uncommon LOL but its not for me tbh. smells good from a distance but i can still smell the plasticky undertones when i sniff my skin. also the opening scent is so chemical that it will burn your nose if you breathe it before its settled. certainly wouldnt repurchase but its worth trying if youre willing to let it sit and macerate for a while. another thing, my dad got angry and confused when he walked into the room as i was wearing this, because he couldnt figure out why the room smelt of chocolate cake. 🐿️

Анонім

Strong, lasts all day, projects. Identical to Bianco Latte. I get compliments a go go, people love the scent.

Анонім

Harsh alcohol opening followed by milky vanilla. Pretty linear and a little boring to be really considered perfume, in my country it's currently quite trendy, so here it's overpriced, for example Choco musk smells similar for fraction of price.
