I really like this but on a man. I bought this for myself as I love opulent musk by Lattafa and thought this might have a similar allure for me but it's really masculine and I ended up scrubbing it off my wrist which I rarely ever do. Now, on a man this is genuinely very good indeed. I smell smoky liquorice and it smells incredible for the price. If you're a lady who favours a more masculine scent, I think you'll get a lot from this but my brother benefited from a truly great fragrance. I don't know why but I always imagine the wonderful David Suchet as Poirot wearing this!

It's an absolutely gem for me. Amazing. It was love at first sniff. I love strong perfumes. I loved interlude man and supremacy inciense since the first time, for example. I've just started to use the fragance. I hope it doesn't need maceration for last a lot on skin. At first smell i found some similar with oud essentiel from guerlain, allegoria version. I'll be updating my review after some days of use and after to left macerate the fragance. I smell sweety note in that fragance, maybe it's caramel, and i feel some milky, with vanilla, and some kind of leather, very strong, too. Updating, next day: my opulent oud fragance (batch 2024) didn't need maceration. At least, no for performance (it has a bestial sillage, but its skin longevity is above 6-8 hours) but maybe yes, it need for a better note blend. I experienced olfactory fatigue; after two hours, I thought I couldn't smell it anymore, so I reapplied it at the office, and I still couldn't smell it. But a coworker told me it was too strong and overwhelming throughout a 4 x 4 meters office. I immediately regretted it, so be very careful with atomizations. Even just two atomizations can make it undetectable on the skin due to its potency. It's incredibly strong. I adore the scent; it's heavenly, addictive, and very enjoyable for me. Although I understand that many people might not like it because it's quite different from the style of Western fragrances. It might not be a safe blind buy, it's not appealing to the general public, or it's not quite as strong as Guerlain fragrances that also have the leather-rose-oud trinity, like Oud Essentiel and Santal Royal, for example.

I don't think that I have ever had the ''opportunity'' to smell something equally worse to this. Granted,it was extremely cheap, but dear god........this is one of those times when a perfume has the longevity of 2-3 days atleast, smells from great distance that even Frodo if he was wearing this he could be smelled from Mordor, but it is so goddamn awful. I don't have a lot of experience with oud but this one I can tell is very syntetic and just plain horrible. It has made me instantly skip everything oud related cuz I will assume it will smell like this. Only fragrance so far that I can actually rate 0/10. If you hate someone you can buy it as a gift or take it with you and spray them/their clothes so they have to sit in that smell but other than that I don't see the point, lol. The fragrance you can gift to your ex that hates you/you hate them

Extremely strong, synthetic at start and tiring perfume that doesn't fade away. I accidentally sprayed on the collar of my shirt and it still smelled like it even after washing. Not a fan of this, lasts forever, and 1 spray is enough to keep the bugs away. Strong incense smell but it has something repulsive in it.

straight buns 0/10 i feel so bad for spraying on my bros wrist. not as bad as bad boy le parfum doe (unrelated but im forever traumatized by spraing that on my arm)

My new bottle was mfg 08/'24, so it's had plenty of time to settle. The first few minutes are a bit obnoxious due to saffron's signature "suffer to appreciate me" song and dance. But once that's calmed down, this is a very heavy, rich, woody rose. It doesn't change much, so if linear is not your preference you'll want to layer this with something more volatile. It holds on forever and one spray is enough to radiate ambery-oud, so do be gentle on the spritzes if you share enclosed spaces. The oud is beautifully done here, but it can still be polarising. While I'd love to wear it whenever, it's going to need to look pretty on the shelf next to its Opulent siblings until cooler weather. It's just too dense in the heat and humidity for my nose. Overall, I'd say it's a 7/10, if only because of its limited use window. I don't know if it's one I'll repurchase, but I'm happy to enjoy it while I have it.

I don't know I don't like it at all! Something in it what I hate! So sweet and maybe the oud I don't like. Longevity is 6-8 hours Projection is decent

This perfume is really Fun. 13 bucks you get a great DNA and the smell is not as scratchy as the internet says. I own 500 and 600 bucks fragrances and probably you will get more compliments with this. If you are looking for something woody still sweat and with great performances this is it. 13 bucks for 8 hrs longevity I can't understand the hate. some people just want to smell good without spending a fortune i see nothing wrong with it.

Анонім★★★★★

Dont understand the hate, the perfume has a really good oud smell imo (compared to most at this price point) and using it as a layering base is just awesome

I matured this for over a year and now I spay it 3 times and once dried over it I spray 3 times of "Etat Libre d'Orange You or someone like you" and once dried over that I spray 2 times Joop Splash Summer ticket. What do you get? Mf oud frag with florals and a bit of citrus in the first 1h. Once every fragrance develops you get a creamy oud with white florals and mint. Worth the trouble. You can substitute the Joop with another bright lemon-aromatic-aquatic fragrance.

Анонім★★★★★

It takes a ridiculous amount of time to mature but it's worth it. The rubbery oud smell was gone in a few months. After then the spice and florals have grown into an addictive duo. It still comes of as stinky and animalic when put on fabric but it's amazing on skin for me. Projection and longevity are beyond impressive (9 hours and strong performance for 4 of those). I like it, and despite the seasonal constraint it's something that can sort of weasel into a day event on a lukewarm morning (layered with citrus musks). Overall, reminds me now of the feeling of having your cold face cupped in warm sun.

The fragrance smells nice, but it feels a bit cheap and artificial.

Oud Royal is one of my favourite perfumes of all time, given its price I only use for "special occasions". As I enjoy the scent so much I decided to blind buy this since it's cheap. The opening is a bit harsh imo, on my skin it has this detergent like smell for the first hour or two that slowly goes away. I wouldn't say this is close to Armani, there's huge difference in quality but also how refined and well blended the scent is however there are some similarities mostly in the dry down. For now I'm putting it away until autumn/ winter and see how the scent evolves.

Анонім★★★★★

unlike what it copies, this does not evoke "unusual sanctity". it just evokes "obnoxious". can't even be poetic about this one. come on now.

Анонім★★★★★

I blind bought this and was very pleased with it, as it has some of my favourite notes (saffron, cinnamon and rose) and is totally non-skanky. I was not at all sure about something oud-forward, but in this combination it is eminently wearable, not too 'beast' mode, warm and pleasantly long lasting. I found it to be a really nice 'training wheels' oud at an exceptionally reasonable price.

Анонім★★★★★

This was love at first sniff for me, it's incredible that this can be found for under €15. A great blend of rose, oud and incense, a bit linear perhaps, but I enjoy it nonetheless. My partner describes it as "a Catholic church scent, in a good way". The rose note is very similar to Shaghaf Oud's, but the strong incense note gives this a bit more heft and body overall. My only reservation is that it smells quite smoky on my skin, which isn't as problematic with Shaghaf Oud or other rose-oud scents I've tried. This is great for spraying on clothes though if you're willing to commit to this scent for a couple days. I tend to apply another rose-oud scent on my skin (lately I've been enjoying Ahmed al Maghribi Summer Oud now that it's had time to mature), then a couple sprays of this on my clothes.

Анонім★★★★★

Its a bit too sweet for my taste and its also close to "Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst Lattafa", but you cant put more than one spray otherwise its too strong. One skin spray should be more than fine.

Анонім★★★★★

It smells great — slightly “grandma soap” vibe, but still really pleasant. The quality is impressive for the price, and the performance is excellent. It’s also fantastic for layering; I paired it with Vulcan Black and it turned absolutely nuclear. In the end, I stopped wearing it because the opening was a bit too feminine for me, so I passed it on to my fiancée.

Анонім★★★★★

Super basic Arabic perfume, it has no skankiness if you're worried about that. Regular sweet resinous ambery light oud, the sweetness of this reminds me a lot of Montale Arabians Tonka, maybe it has a tonka bean note that's not listed, or they somehow made the rose note sweet, I don't get a lot of rose in this, at least not in the typical floral Oud Rose style of fragrances. Leans feminine maybe because of the sweetness and caramel, but I don't imagine this worn outside of the Arabian Gulf countries, not because it doesn't smell good or anything like that, it's actually very pleasant and mass appealing. It's just has a very oriental DNA because of the Amber Oud combo, I imagine it to be weirdly out of place if it was worn in places outside the Gulf countries. The price to scent + longevity contrast is very gimmicky so I wouldn't trust the ingredients in this, keep an eye for phthalates and hormone disruptors

This is a very interesting fragrance and my first experience with oud. I was hesitant to try it after hearing how oud-heavy it is, especially since oud is often described as a note you need to ease into. After some hesitation, I placed my order and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’d describe Opulent Oud as a sweeter leather with a strong cinnamon note that persists throughout. There’s also a blend of smoke and floral notes that really come through at the peak, along with hints of rose and saffron. While it smells great, there is a medicinal, incense like quality that ties everything together, which some people may find off-putting. That said, I genuinely love the scent. It’s very unique and far from a typical fragrance. Wearing this will definitely make you stand out, so you have to be confident. I also see this working best for an older guy or for special occasions rather than daily use. It’s clearly a cold weather, nighttime scent. You can wear it indoors as well, just go easy on the sprays. However, I do think that this is something that will be harder to wear due to its uniqueness. But if you can find the occasion, I think you’ll enjoy it.

My feelings about Opulent Oud haven't changed, ...but the ways I would best describe my perceptions have. The opening of this fragrance does possess a sharp, unlisted note that only persists for a few minutes. I don't mind it terribly, but neither do I fully enjoy it. My best attempt to identify and describe that note would be that it reminds me of a shrill overdose of badly blended pink pepper. In any case, it soon fades away, ...and is replaced by a wonderfully nuanced blend of saffron, rose, amber, & 'oud' wood. Yes, it does somewhat remind me of a leather accord, soft, clean, and lightly sweet, ...though that may not be exactly correct either. Ultimately, it is this blend of notes that I love about Opulent Oud. The drydown is simply amazing. The wood notes are labeled here as oud, but like most modern concepts of oud, they are synthetics that only vaguely and incompletely represents the oud note, ...and that is really all for the best, since genuine oud can be very intriguingly complex (and expensive), but also quite disturbing, Frankly, the ersatz oudwood notes found in Opulent Oud are a much more appealing choice.

Анонім★★★★★

Worst fragrance i ever had....it just makes me gag....would never buy again

Анонім★★★★★

Bit of a skanky oud, with lots of rose. Smells like my grandma mixed with soap. It's too feminine. Was a blind buy and it was cheap so no biggie. But its one of those that will be forgotten in the corner unfortunately.

Анонім★★★★★

First impressions: Too strong, it is not bad but definitely not a blind buy. To me this is more feminine and old fashioned, the Roses are too powerful, and I love roses, but this is overwhelming. You have to have massive balls and confidence to wear this as a man because you are going to make a statement with this scent. Not for me. Edited: I revisited this fragrance 6 months later and I have to say I changed my perception a bit. It is indeed a strong, almost overpowering scent, but I don't think it is unwearable. Although its strength calls for cooler weather, the flower's scent goes quite well in early spring.

Анонім★★★★★

Oh this needs maceration a lot. After 6 months, sour burnt rubber with sprayed alcohol on top opening has gone, now it has very pleasant woody opening, and drydown is more woody aromatic, very pleasant woody smell, and for 20 eur price ? Come on its a steal. Strong/strong performances.

Анонім★★★★★

For this price acceptable, but never again a vheap fragrance. The opening is a classic alcohol, after iz becomes more richer, and thats all, after few minutes it dont even smells, too low profection. How much money thats hoe mich music you get. Only for cold weather

Анонім★★★★★

So far this is my least favorite of the Oud Bouquet scent profile. I find Oud Mood from Lattafa to be smoother and smokier, and Shaghaf Oud from Swiss Arabian to be sweeter and stronger. Opulent Oud has great performance for the price tag, but my complaint is the sour note I smell on the dry down.

Анонім★★★★★

Ts smells really good and nostalgic reminds me of my sister's first car, couldn't detect the oud at the opening but it has a very harsh flower smell (I might still need it to ejaculate for a month) but the dry down is amazing for the price. Really good stuff.

Анонім★★★★★

I had higher expectation for that. Appeared a bit basic oudy, boring and suffocating at the same time. May be interesting for pure oud lovers.

Анонім★★★★★

The fragrance is way too woody and strong, almost suffocating due to its notes. Wore it to dinners and made people uncomfortable while wearing this. It”s not a safe blind-buy. Please smell it before purchasing it!
