Delilah

I received my first compliment on my perfume today by a stranger out in a public. I had carelessly sprayed on 4 or 5 sprays of this about half an hour before venturing out in the August heat to do some errands. I was feeling a bit drained so I wanted a little boost. I also, rarely find that my skin projects fragrances. I have only received compliments on fragrances from immediate family members before. Anyway, I am 45 so it's something I didn't think would happen irl to me. But no, a 30 something cashier at the grocery store looked at me and said..what perfume are you wearing? I was so stunned I muttered Delilah. Its a dupe of Delina. I dont think she had a clue what I was talking about. But she breathed it in and said "i really like that. It's so...nice. yeah." And kinda stared. I also said thank you. But then I heard a couple people at a different store talking about a smell. And then I started becoming paranoid and swear I heard others talking about my smell and then I didn't like it anymore. I think this is a 1 spray during summer frag and probably on clothing. Maybe 2 in winter on skin? I like it, but it's not Delina (I have a decant). It's louder and has some spice feel to it the Arab musks always seem to have. I will still use it but go a lot lighter on application.

This rose perfume is not a dusty, powdery grandma scent. It's not a conservative and demure rose, nor mature or deliberately seductive. This rose feels fresh, joyful and youthful. Modern. The green and aquatic notes make it refreshing, energising. Playful, bubbly even. I love it - the moist, green leaves are my favourite part and give this scent its signature. At the same time, the fruit notes bring the whole some nice supportive structure, juiciness and sweetness. Everything is well blended. I wouldn't be able to identify the single fruits, but if I had to blind guess, I probably would have said crisp, juicy apple. These perfumes are not otherwise similar, but the fruity part reminds me of Lattafa Badee al Oud Sublime - hence the apple association. What is there not to love about it? It's such a delight, brings me on a good mood. Even the performance is very nice. Potent stuff, better not overspray. Excellent value for the money. Not too heavy, too sweet or cloying, not screechy. The mature audience may find it a bit juvenile, but it's not childish like many sweet gourmands. Not going to compare this to Delina or its flankers. To analyse the differences, I should either be familiar enough with them to know the nuances by heart, or have both side by side. If looking for happy and fresh rose perfume, this is an alternative worth considering. Works great also boosted with a little vanilla. We all have different noses, different experiences and different preferences. However, what it comes to Middle Eastern perfumes, if the experience (or performance) is completely different from the producer's description, oftentimes the problem is insufficient maturation. The waiting time is frustrating, but makes a huge difference. I didn't believe it until I experienced it myself a couple of times.

Initial wearing is impressive. Sprayed 5 sprays about 4 hours ago and still going strong. The mid is really shining through with Turkish rose and Peony….simply lovely. Looking forward to the remainder of this journey…. Will come back with more comments once I’ve had a few wearings. So far I highly recommend this it is stunning and I have the original, and it is out performing it right now….

Wellll my husband got it for me not a blind buy this time 😅 It's musky smells abit woody floral, it's beautiful but no for everyone, because it's strong some cannot tolerate this kinda perfumes so I recommend you smell it and test it then consider it. Ps: compliment getter and lots of people ask me what I'm wearing when using it.

Beautiful scent and lasts long

Very rosy and feminine with a hint of powdery scent and smells clean. Not like PDM Delina but it has the same “aura or vibe” with it. I get compliments wearing this.

Delina smelled very litchi-forward to me, so I was expecting the same... Until all I could smell was rose, rose, rose, rose. Delilah had a stronger, screechy sharp opening that caught me off guard (a pathetic attempt at rhubarb?) Before being completely taken over by rose. If there is any musk, or vanilla, or litchi, or whatever other notes in this, I couldn't smell them through the impenetrable fortress of roses. The amount of roses repulsed me the whole journey home from spraying this perfume, I almost missed my train stop. Is it a beautiful bouquet of roses? Yes, but dear God. Who needs to be buried in a bouquet of roses 24/7? Unless you develop a very fast nose blindness to rose, you will be aware of how strong smelling the roses are. And unfortunately it lasts forever with a mad projection. I probably would love catching a whiff of this from time to time. Like let's say, from a lady in the accounting department who would pass by my table several times a day to deliver documents. It'd be hell for her to live with it the whole day, but I'd be happy as a passerby.

Not a rose fan usually,but I wanted to try something feminine and different than what I would normally pick. I wanted to smell something similar to Delina and was referred to this perfume. Tart, rose forward and green leaves is what I smell. Have not macerated this at all (2days old). I put her away but kept sneaking for another sniff and another and so on. It is very pretty without being boring or old fashioned. I am curious how this will develop over time, she is so beautiful already.

Another popular one that I don't understand. Sometimes rose notes appeal to me. This is one that doesn't. Returning.

Just received my bottle and it definitely smells EXACTLY like BBW Covered in Roses but in perfume form meaning it is more potent than a body spray. Can't say much about its similarity to Delina as I've never tried it. Disappointed that I don't pick up the rhubarb or lychee notes--but I don't get those from BBW Covered in Roses either. As I said is very potent and a bit headache inducing. I am not overly prone to this reaction, but this one definitely triggers it for me.

Literally every single time I wear this, I get a compliment. Of course, it's the cheapest perfume I own lol. It's such a fresh, zingy, happy, and clean smell. I have grown to be really addicted to it in a way. It's the kind of smell that has presence, but also never feels like too much. The rose in it is so natural and pretty. As a man, I feel like it actually wears as very effortless and clean. It also surprisingly layers beautifully with the original Angel (Mugler). TRY IT!

If you like delina this is it. As a man I do like delina, but this came off a lot more femine, so beware.

one word - ROSE. I am not much of a rose fan but I can work with this. I have PDM Delina La Rosee which I received as a gift and it smells pretty darn close. I also got this one as a gift and unfortunately, I realized with these two that I am not a fan or rose fragrances... Maybe I will let them macerate more time before trying them again.

DELINA DELINA DELINA. Maybe a tooooouch more initial rose in the opening. Like a little bit. Which I quite like because I found Delina a bit too sharp on initial spray. But after like 10 minutes, these are identical twins. Bottle is also heavy and beautiful so doesn't feel like a knock-off by any means.

Smells spicy when you first spray it. After it dries down, it's a nuclear creamy rose fruit. Idk what the og smells like but I have noble blush and the rose smells like that rose but toned down a lot. Still projects like a beast. Super long lasting. I don't like the spice in this one it's starting to become suffocating to me.

A slightly more of a jammy rose than Delina. It's a bit more sweet and sharper than the og. Delina is more peony forward while this is more rose forward. Nevertheless it's quite similar on the drydown, but you can only tell the difference if you have a trained nose. Has good sillage and longitivity, but not as good as Delina does, that being said it still gets the job done. Edit: As I wore both more, I began to realize that it's not the peony note that has been toned down here, it's just that the slightly powdery ambroxan/ petalia note present in Delina is entirely missing here, which is also why it lacks staying power. That would make it an almost accurate dupe.

*bombastic side eye* This is the DNA y'all are feral for? I guess my bottle is still pretty new so I'll spray her out and come back in 6 months but I love rose in fragrance and rhubarb is one of my all time favorite notes...... but this smells like the most 80s, grandma, bug spray, potpourri, rose mixed with men's cologne.......maybe the worst rose scent I've ever sniffed!

I own Delina and this is almost identical for 1/100th of the price. Thank god for the dupe industry!

Unironically my most-complimented perfume, pulling right ahead of my vanilla bombs (Burberry Goddess and MA Athena). At a fencing tournament this last weekend, despite the General Ick Of Sweat from fighting all day at a humid, semi-outdoor event, a competitor passing by got weak in the knees. He now has a bottle for his wife. Last night also got a compliment while Sweaty and Terrible at a sparring practice while hugging a homie, so for whatever it's worth, the very rose/white musk drydown plays alright with eau de sweaty fighter. Surprisingly long duration for a floral cheapie, the sharp green rhubarb lasts about 20 minutes, stays super rosy and lovely for about 3 hours, moderately rosy and white musky for about another 2 hours. Projection for the first 2 hours is a little over arms length, falls back to intimate after 2 hours. I don't find that it sticks on clothing or hair much longer than skin. This is definitely gonna be another re-purchase after i kill the bottle.

At first, I hated this due to the sour note of rhubarb. Now that I've had it for a year, that note dissipates quite quickly, and I actually love the sweet-sour peach rose I'm left with! It's also a compliment-getter, and Delina-lovers always say it smells like Delina :)

I love this perfume. It’s a bright fresh rose fragrance without being like grandma’s rose water. The bottle and lid are quality - reassuringly heavy. It’s lovely to wear on a spring/summer day and is good for the office too. Fantastic value dupe.

on me this is identical to delina its actually crazy how this cost me only 13€ and is the exact same. maybe the only difference is in the longevity. delina lasts slightly longer

Tried to like it, but for some reason the scent reminds me of a car air freshener I used to smell as a kid. It also smells a bit outdated—like something my grandma would wear.

I’m not usually a floral-only person, so the addition of lychee and bergamot (with their citrusy, tart notes) really balances the rose perfectly. Don’t be alarmed by the first spritz—it’s quite sharp, but it dries down to a lovely scent (at least on my skin). It doesn’t last super long—maybe about 4 hours—but for the price, I’m happy to reapply. As someone new to perfumes, this fragrance has helped me figure out what I like, and I’ve realized that fresh, floral-fruity combos are definitely my thing. I’ll definitely buy this again!

There is something sharp and almost camphorous in this fragrance to my nose. A prettier dupe is BBW "Covered in Roses".

For disclosure, I did buy this in hopes for a similar experience to delina. This smelt like a basic rose fragrance, a bit green, on me. I really didn’t get any vanilla, rhubarb or lychee at all. After a while it turned a bit sour on me so I am going to sell it on. At least it was a decent price. Very weighty bottle and feels good quality. If you like fresh rose this is pretty good for the price, just not for me sadly.

Smells beautiful right out of the box....it is hot or miss with perfume to find it's way. Today Was my lucky day. 🩷 I had a baby, and loved it almost as much as my Rasasi Eclát and Swiss Arabian 01. So I had to get the momma. No screeches in this one. Super feminine, sweet roses....fall in love again and again 🩷🩷

Definitely not for me. There is something sour I can't get past, maybe the rhubarb?? Glad I only bought a sample.
