Was my office perfume for a while, I feel like it doesn't pack a punch in terms of longevity or interesting notes, but to me it feels like a safe fragance and cheap (sorry, I'm not wearing something expensive to the office). Maybe it's the batch, but to me it smells like almond and cherry shampoo. Fresh, sweet, and with that slight smell of that "shampoo" fragance. It becomes a bioweapon if oversprayed though. I haven't tried lost cherry, so I can't compare both scents.

I've been bored lately, so I began exploring chocolate-cherry and cherry-centric fragrances. I heard so much about Tom Ford "Lost Cherry" as the Holy Grail of all things cherry. So, I purchased Afnan "Cherry Bouquet" and Maison Alhambra "Lovely Cherie." I never experienced Tom Ford "Lost Cherry," so I cannot draw a comparison. But Lovely Cherie is a simple & likable, slightly medicinal, very linear cherry-liqueur bomb with almond notes. Wears loud, strong, syrupy and heavy. Dry down is sweetened up a bit by toffee. I detect zero Peru balsam in the base. Not surprisingly (as others have indicated), Lovely Cherie's longevity and performance are not great initially. I'm doing the "12 sprays, no cap, let it sit in the dark" kinda thing and hopefully performance will improve. All-in-all, I like the perfume a whole lot! It's pretty!

I haven't smelled Tom Ford Lost Cherry, so don’t know if Maison Alhambra Lovely Cherie is a dupe. I have the bottle shown in above picture and it is new. Long lasting. Smelled great right away. Smells similar to my long time favorite Bath and body works Sweetheart Cherry, but Lovely Cherie is more sophisticated and lasts longer. I still love my BBW fav, so this will not replace it but is a welcome cherry that works for me.

I was always curious about Lost Cherry but I never had access to smell it. With that and all the comments mentioning this was unisex, I ordered this on a whim just to try it out. The initial spray and first hour of wear are distinctly feminine on my skin, however within an hour it mellows out into a unisex scent. Unfortunately, that means I won't be wearing this out any time where I'd need to reapply. Luckily, the longevity and projection are good. Mainly, though, for me, this fragrance is a phenomenal home scent. Like, something to wear around the house and/or something to spray on the bed sheets and curtains. Smells phenomenal! But, my search for a masculine cherry continues... (aside from Pure Havane/Insurrection II Wild).

I've tested multiple cherry fragrances (I love cherry and almond like smells) but they don't last long. Usually. I've had my bottle for over a year, I initially didn't like it and the first sprays felt waxy and plasticky. After a year, someone else in my household wore it and I couldn't pin point it because it had dried down and smelt beautifully of sandalwood and incense, with a little sweet-vanilla-baby-powder. When asked, I was told it was this fragrance and I couldn't believe it. I went back to it immediately and I have complete fallen in love with it. The juicy, tart cherry note is not as fleeting (since it is a bomb in the opening) however the dry down rivals a more expensive luxury brand's creating. I recommend spraying it on someone you live with in the morning and get of whiff of that in the afternoon. You think you can't smell it but you are probably nose-blind by that point. I did have to wait for a long time but will procure a few more bottle to mature. PS: Layer with PDM Althair or Essential Parfums Orange X Santal. You're welcome and good luck!

Such a beautiful, tart, juicy, bright red cherry with almond. Such a pity it lasts around 5 minutes on my skin. I've had my bottle now for around 12 months.

Анонім★★★★★

I just received this one, it is a blind buy and it is awful! I got a nose full of Peru Balsam with a hint of cherry ! Ewwww, smells like tar and burned tyres! I shall get reacquainted with Lovely Cherry in a few months, it’s in great need of macération!

Анонім★★★★★

Maison Alhambra really COOKED on this one the smell is 95% similar to the OG one really fruity sexy smell (I want to eat myself when I smell it on me) unfortunately don’t last very long but for the price who cares. BUT that fragrance missing something it’s the little vanilla smell that come with the cherry on the OG that make me feel nauseous (but I like it tho) It think if you put a vanilla type fragrance and layering with lovely cherry you’ll have the Tom Ford version in terms of smell (like 100%) and a better longevity and sillage for sure.

Анонім★★★★★

When I tried the sample, I got cherries and whipped cream. It was so delicious that I immediately bought a full bottle. But there was nothing creamy in it, just pure cherry. It also smelled pretty bad, which I expected. It's been almost two years of maceration now and I will say it's a very solid linear cherry fragrance, more like cherry candy than the fruit itself. To me it smells EXACTLY like a cherry tootsie pop. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm still bummed out that there's no creaminess. I guess the solution would be to layer it with a creamy, milky vanilla perfume (or lotion) but I haven't found the right one yet.

This opens with a strong blast of dark cherry, followed within a few minutes by amber and tonka. I personally can’t pick up the other notes, but I enjoy this one and am wearing it layered with Lattafa Eclaire, which kind of brings out the best in both scents. It’s my first cherry scent and my first from Alahambra - definitely not disappointed!

Peace been upon you 🖐️ This as just... Ahhhh As a poetic 16 years old teenager dude who's writing a Jornal, I adore this, it FEELS like a 9 years old's cheap ugly pink nail paint, she had to save her lunch money to buy this, and when she did most her friends just mocked her but she has to act confident and just keep wearing it anyway, ok lets put feelings aside this smells like candied cherry and almonds, I can't wear it out but I just wear it when I have to be in my room Thank u for reading ♦️

Анонім★★★★★

In the words of Salt N Peppa "ooh baby baby"! This smells good! Any human who wants to smell good n tasty should wear this. Like be careful around hungry humans. Not suitable for wear at: Buffets Grocery Stores Fairs Restaurants They might mistake you for food. It's that decadent. 😋

Анонім★★★★★

Just sweet cherry/almond and a slight floral from the rose. Super basic and uninteresting scent. I can't pick out the balsamic and spicy notes that are supposedly in the background. Still like it but I guess I'm more of a Cherry smoke type of guy.

Анонім★★★★★

You really have to like the cherry note. In addition, the almond and tonka bean add body and bring a sensation of slight spiciness and sweetness at the same time. It’s not a highly innovative fragrance; it’s clearly made for cherry lovers. It has moderate projection during the first two hours or so. After that, it stays very close to the skin. It is extremely affordable. I don’t own the original Tom Ford version, but I know those fragrances are very expensive, so if you’re looking for something in that style, this is a very good option. This is a heavy fragrance, although its longevity is fairly average (around 7 hours). Perfect to wear when the weather is cold.

I have to admit these Alhambra Dupes are incredible value for the money. I got a bunch of grey market Tom Ford that I have rebought in all the Alhambra Dupes. They may well be Tom Ford super fakes because they do smell amazingly good but not for long. Who knows at this point. In any case 20$ a bottle gave me a tour of what I liked without high price tags. Weirdly grey market Givenchy Gentleman Society is totally real and potent. I had a relationship buying from these guys way back but some products are fakes cleverly now. This drove me to buy alternates and be careful when I shop grey market now. All the TF I have replaced with Dupes are strikingly close , some not perfect but have aged into better products ( Dark Aoud). I just got this one and it smells like my Lost Cherry Bottle. Not disappointed .

Анонім★★★★★

It's obviously going to lack complexity compared to Tom Ford equivalents, but honestly I think I prefer it over Lost Cherry. The cherry and almond are very well-balanced and full-bodied with great projection, it's sweet without being overbearing, plus it layers exceptionally well with other fragrances (I've been using it alongside Lattafa Khamrah and Opulent Dubai to great effect). If you're looking for a more 'curious' cherry fragrance with more complexity, you may end up preferring Lattafa La Collection d'antiquités 1505, it's a bit fizzier with a stronger balsamic note.

Анонім★★★★★

Super balsamic a little bit old lady ish, good cherry. Unisex but could maybe lean slightly feminine. I’m a man and wear it on occasion in winter, smells good, never smelled the og so I can’t speak on comparing the 2 of them.

Анонім★★★★★

perfume could be a great dupe, but the bitter almond is sooooooo dominant. it in openning, midlle note and remain until two hours. really it is uncomfortable for me and I can't stand bitter almond too much. I gave it to my sister. she likes it. but she also told me that the bitter almond is so dominant and disturbing

Анонім★★★★★

Not a fan of fruity scents but this one I like a lot yes indeed on others, unisex no question! A fake cherry 🍒 vibe is there from top but not so bad and for the price it's a no brainer and this stuff lasts

Анонім★★★★★

I love this scent, it's an unisex cherry fragrance that I see on a men and women. It's litterly straight up in your face seduction potion in the bottle. The best cherry fragrance I tried, that smells not artificial and not medical or placticy. I love to wear this scent in the concerts or not serious/fun events. This fragrance also is good for dates.

I have the Forbidden Love version, got in a flash deal on Amazon. It was newly batched when purchased in August. I had not planned to purchase this version of a LC inspiration, but so glad I did. At first it was super powdery, didn’t last long at all, was not a favorite. I pulled it out Christmas and it was so good. It has sweetened, so it is a fluffy powdery sweetness. It projected for 2 hrs & lasted throughout all festivities. It surprised me on performance and how nicely I enjoyed how the scent had evolved. I do not like too powdery, so I have struggled with this. The cherry is richer, the tonka & toffee have smoothed the powdery out with sweetness. This was perfect for a cozy Christmas Day atop a cherry/cinnamon oil. 10/10

Lost Cherry thinks she's that girl but Lovely Chèrie lasts 10x longer and projects better

The Cherry note here is similar to the one in Irida by French Avenue Which is the candy plasticy variety of cherry that they put at the top or bottom of beverages like sodas for garnish, its very unpleasant for me Both of these (Irida and this one) are very lenier and you smell only the cherry (FA one is a bit more complex but not a lot), so getting either one is enough not to get the other. I suggest getting FA Irida Because FA’s is better quality as usual between these 2, and its a bit better This one is just a single note, candy and plastic cherry, flat and shallow, not as deep as I expected Although the bottle I received was manufactured 1 year ago so its not maceration, it already reached peak maceration 3.2/10

Анонім★★★★★

A sweet cherry fragrance with a little bitter almond/amaretto in the opening. It leans more feminine imo. Very simple DNA , pleasant, and perfect if you like sweet cherry scents. 6.5/10

Анонім★★★★★

When you first spray it the scent is very reminiscent of a sour cherry liqueur, but after a few minutes the alcohol smell disappears and you get a much softer and sweeter aroma. On its own it's not very long lasting, about 3-4 hours, but when I combined it with another vanilla perfume I have the longevity rose to 8-10 hours. It's a very close dupe to the Tom Ford fragrance but be prepared to refresh it every few hours.

So, I received this several months ago, did the spray out and let it sit routine. I’m going back to it and wearing it today! Any of the synthetic smells are nearly gone but slightly detectable. It’s gonna need a little more time and some more air in the bottle to fully mature I think. It is very cherry centric! (Btw I have “forbidden love” which I believe is the new name) I have never had nor smelled Lost Cherry so I can’t speak to how close it is. I’m not really a gourmand girlie so I don’t know that this is going to get much wear from me. It smells more like a maraschino cherry dripping with syrup. I get a smidge of almond and hardly any rose. I think it’s kind of fun for the holidays or maybe Valentine’s. However, it’s a bit too sweet for my personal tastes. I do however think it would be a great layering fragrance with a smoky or spicy fragrance. I may try that and let you know!

Анонім★★★★★

Smells super cheap and synthetic. Had to scrub it off my arm 🤢

Анонім★★★★★

I really really like this! I wasn’t expecting to like it so much to be honest (not the biggest fan of cherry anything- scents, flavoring, etc) but I am so pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous and well-rounded it is! The cherry itself is beautiful; rich without being cloying, definitely cherry without being artificial, just sweet enough to make you happy, and the rest of the notes support it perfectly. The bitter almond is my second favorite part of this scent I think, followed by the toffee and balsam, it really adds a lovely depth and backbone for the wonderfully crafted cherry to shine :) I’ve never smelled TF/the original, but if it smells even similar to this I’m sure it’s lovely too!

PSA: This is great for layering. This is a boozy cherry. Like a cherry liqueur. Smells maybe 95% similar to the OG, but I only smelt the OG once so take my opinion lightly please. This has been re-released in a different non-Tom-Ford bottle and called 'Forbidden Love'. They smell the same but Forbidden Love smells just slightly less concentrated. Could be a maturation thing. I own both. The Maison Alhambra clone for this is distinctly superior to the Fragrance World clone of this. Again, I own both. I've smelt multiple Middle-Eastern cherry frags (some juicy, some dry, all great) and this still remains the best because of its booziness. You're not missing anything if you just go with this and layer it with other fragrances. Only issue with this is it lacks body and feels a bit thin and lacking a satiating base, albeit being richly boozy and delicious. Layer this with vanillas, ambers, etc. to give this cherry fragrance some body. Particularly Kayali Vanilla 28 and By Kilian Angels' Share - both are great to layer with. Two other suggestions which I haven't tried yet would be Tom Ford Tuscan Leather (a raspberry-leather scent) and Initio Paragon (a candied plum scent). For the Tom Ford cherry trio, my preference for both men and women is: Lost Cherry (boozy; sensual; the best and sexiest) > Cherry Smoke (incensey; slightly darker than Lost Cherry; not boozy; also probably ideal to layer with vanillas/ambers for body) > Electric Cherry (youthful/juvenile/playful but sexy; brighter than Lost Cherry; not boozy)

Massive cherry lover here. Bought this dupe super early on in my fragrance collecting journey because ain’t no way in hell I’m dropping that kinda bag on Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry and thankfully I didn’t. I definitely smell the similarities between Lovely Chèrie and Lost Cherry but to me the dupe is way more linear with not as much depth but it still captures the main essence of Lost Cherry which is that ladylike cherry. Scent: Smells like I’m sniffing straight lipstick which Lost Cherry gives off a similar vibe but this is mostly that to me but it kinda lasts the entire duration of the perfume. Just lipstick-y cherry with a little bit of sweetness and nuttiness from the toffee and almond but that’s really it for the complexity. The sweetness makes it super feminine leaning to me personally. Performance: Decent performance, nothing outstanding in regards of longevity or performance for Lovely Chèrie but if I remember correctly neither does Lost Cherry. Versatility: Special occasions mostly unless your partner likes you smelling like a makeup bag which I know some people do. Tough wear in the day or heat as you might just gas yourself out. Scent: 5/10 Performance: 5/10 Versatility: 3/10 Personal Score: 4.5/10 Nothing crazy but it’s cheap as fuck and it’s duping a TF for one tenth of its price. Not exactly identical but it doesn’t exactly suck either it just kinda does a cheaper impersonation of Lost Cherry and it’s not really what I was looking for.
