I must be super lucky because for me coffee is the main character here, and I don't get a whole lot of floral and no soapiness at all. And the coffee note lasts for several hours! If you just want to smell like coffee, this might be your stop. However, do try it on skin first: seeing the other comments, it really seems to be affected by skin chemistry.

So good! It has a very bright and prominent lavender scent that is rounded off by the coffee notes and a hint of milky vanilla. I get a bit of sharpness from the patchouli. Very cozy, but not the best option if you're looking for a pure coffee scent.

I absolutely love coffee break. It’s warm comforting slightly sweet and great for everyday wear. Reminds me of studying in a cafe in the fall.

Ordered a sample, and smelled it over the course of several days. Warm, cozy, not reminding me of a coffee breath at all. That aside, the opening smells very warm with the coffee sticking out the most. Turns into rather a “cozy” smell with lavender being pretty prominent. The longevity and the fact that the coffee goes away so early might be an issue for some. But I decided to order a full bottle for this years colder months, will definitely look more into the Replica line.

It's nice but the coffee disappears within minutes. I am a lavender lover but this smells like soap. If it stayed the way it smells at first spray (cold coffee and freshly showered) it would be great but unfortunately it turns into something very generic and boring.

Granted, I don’t have the MOST discerning nose… but I get zero coffee. Lavender and something warm behind it- amber maybe. But no coffee at all. Disappointed, I love a warm fragrance but this one is too floral for me.

So, SO good. Unique! It's a bar-of-soap smell, with LOTS of herbal whole-plant lavender. The coffee is way in the background, like as if a bar of goat's milk soap just walked out of a coffee shop, the smell of ground coffee beans lingering on its little soap cardigan. The lavender is not "fabuloso" (iykyk), sharp, nor too masculine. It's soft like baby powder. Rounded, floral, aromatic and natural. This fragrance was made for fall, Irish cable sweaters, tan suede Birkenstocks with chunky knit socks and relaxed fit, worn-out blue jeans. LOVE 💞. Editing to add that I concur this is an excellent office selection, because the throw isn't intense. M.M Coffee Break could never be suffocating (unless maybe way over applied). It's definitely a personal space scent, but with staying power.

Not my favorite coffee scent. You actually get a ton of fresh-smelling and clean lavender in the opening and it gets somewhat creamy and warm in the drydown while still maintaining that lavender freshness. I do think the coffee note adds to that warmth and almost roastiness of the scent. Coffee Break kind of reminds me if you got a weak coffee drink (like a Vanilla Frappuccino) splashed on your freshly washed shirt. Overall, I don’t hate it and will wear it at some point…it could be a work scent. 6.8/10

Unfortunately, I HATE how this smells on me. It genuinely made me gag upon first application. Sickly sweet spilled coffee with lavender somewhere in there. Dry down was much the same. Wholly unpleasant. I've smelled it on other people and it dries down wonderfully on them, and in theory I love it. Just not on me.

I love this perfume. I originally got the travel size version (back when it was more widely available) and ordered the largest size once I used it up. I like the simplicity of this fragrance but can understand why this may be a negative for some people. I was shocked to see how many notes are listed here, as I only really pick up lavender and milk. There is a very slight coffee note upon first spray but it fades within minutes to a lavender milk scent. This perfume has a pretty weak projection after the first hour, but because of that, I feel more comfortable wearing it to work. It isn't sickeningly sweet like some of my other milk fragrances (see: Milk by Commodity) because the lavender adds a slightly bitter edge to the milk note. I wear this at home, to work, and running errands. It lasts noticeably for about 3-4 hours and lingers for maybe 8 at most. This is on me all throughout fall and winter, and on the occasional rainy spring day. It isn't something that I would gravitate towards during hot days. The price point is pretty steep for the projection and longevity but my 100 mL bottle is only 1/3 used after 2 years of almost daily use 6-8 months of the year. I highly recommend if you're looking for a not-too-sweet milk scent that is office-safe.

This is a really gorgeous scent to me, there is something maybe just a tiny bit cloying but other than that it's soooo nice. I would 100% gift this to a lover

I wanted to like this scent more than I did. Trying it on, the imitate spritz was a pungent artificial coffee scent akin to those seasonal chap sticks you'd get at the dollar section at Target. It eventually mellowed out. However, after a while I no longer get that warm coffee smell, and mostly just lavender. Don't get me wrong, it is interesting, but the notes I wanted to show don't last for more than 2 hours.

When this arrived I got floral. Zero coffee, zero vanilla and rather a lot of regret. But I never judge too early. So I wore it in and experimented with spray placement and now it is a daily wear for me. I prefer to layer scents so I don’t wear this alone. But I love to use it as an aura fragrance by spraying it in the folds of a dress, on a scarf or the cuffs of my jacket. The soft, foamy, lactonic wisps that float up with movement are perfect in warm or cool weather alike. I still don’t get coffee or vanilla but the texture and haze it gives is definitely reminiscent of a cosy, cafe setting

This is one of the most incredible, nuanced and unique fragrances I wear on the daily. I cannot believe how well the lavender pairs with the lactonic notes of coffee, bringing a nostalgic warmth that makes me think of cozy sweaters and good books. I haven't found anything that compares or is remotely similar. The dry down is a cozy vanilla with a hint of coffee that has an impressive longevity. Totally worth the price and yet another win from Replica.

I love this scent so much!! It's so classy and smells exactly like being in a coffee shop. I actually do get a soft coffee scent from wearing this alongside a clean airy scent. It's really nuanced but it smells like coffee and fabric softener in the best way possible.I love putting this on in the morning and night time since it's so comforting and feels homey. It lasts for quite a while and I personally love mixing this scent with my commodity milk bold to add in more of a toasty gourmand scent. - not gatekeeping this combo for fall/winter :)

Such an underrated little coffee fragrance, and honestly probably my favourite from the Replica line as a whole. Maybe even my favourite coffee fragrance ever... but i'm still searching, so we'll see! Here the coffee isn't too bitter or sweet cloying, it's sort of milky and lactonic. I love lactonic fragrances, so this is a huge win for me. Most coffee fragrances also use a ton of artificial caramel, which smells like an assault to my nose. Here, it feels like more of a whisper of coffee, balanced with soft soapy lavender (and no weird caramel note in sight!). An unexpectedly spectacular combination! My only gripe with this fragrance is that I just wish it lasted longer on my skin. I get about 4 hours of wear before it fades into nothingness. I have heard this is an issue with the line as a whole. Still, I will have to upgrade to a full bottle eventually. I love it that much.

Very cozy and pleasant smell you can rock in the office in the fall and winter months. The only downside is the performance - it becomes a skin scent very quickly.

Makes me feel very professional like im going to go be an academic weapon at a cafe with overpriced coffee. Probably my most unisex/masculine fragrance, and I really like it for cozy environments

Just a very soapy lavender. Honestly smells way more like hand soap than lavender flowers or a lavender essential oil at that. I don't get any hint of coffee or vanilla whatsoever, which is very disappointing since the idea of all three together sounds very standout and signature-worthy.

Such a gorgeous perfume to wear early in the morning, especially in the spring when it's cold and crisp. I was surprised by the use of lavender in this. It's a bit soapy, and typical of how lavender is presented in men's fragrances. Perfectly sweet, and the lactonic quality is done in a way that's still perfumey and not nauseating. The coffee note shockingly doesn't last that long, but I find that the whole perfume doesn't last that long, so it doesn't really bother me. As I said, I find this perfect to spritz on in the early morning when I'm getting ready for the day and, well, drinking my morning coffee lol. By the time I am ready to leave the house, I can wear something else.

Gourmand, I loved this fragrance at first. But for some reasons now I have headaches when I wear it, kinda sad.

The first spray of this reminds me of pink or lilac pearlescent floral supermarket house brand hand soap. I was expecting a more masculine harsh black coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find a clean fresh-sweet feminine floral — I think it is the lavender I am first smelling. Unfortunately I get a hint of “cheap” in the back of my mind initially because of that association I have in my mind, though the fragrance itself doesn’t smell cheap. Smelling this makes me happy! The sweetness fades, floral mellows and it gets deeper, more unisex, and finally leaving something earthy and bitter on the skin. At the very end, to my surprise, I do smell sweet lactonic milk! It’s definitely individually coffee and milk in this fresh floral woody fragrance and not like a gourmand super sweet latte, which I really enjoy!

Amazing opening but dissapointing performance. Great situational fragrance, think "raining library cozy day". Super creamy coffee notes in the beginning, but the lavender quickly takes over. Super super cozy. Love-

I was afraid of the concept of coffee fragrance because i feared the coffee breath smell… but this perfume smells like opening a bag of fresh coffee beans while youre on top of a bed of fresh lavender. It smells like a coffee shop crush. I NEED this
