When the Rain Stops

Such a unique fresh fragrance. It really does smell like being outside after it rains, with slightly salty watery green and slightly earthy notes. Very calming and atmospheric and not like a normal fresh fragrance at all.

Probably my favourite out of the Replica scents, a really gorgeous soapy white floral with a hint of ozonic notes. I really love this for everyday wear and would always go to the Space NK near my partner’s to spray myself with some so I’m really glad my aunt gifted me a lil 30ml of this (along with Fleur de Peau #flex), which was only around £60 so I’d say its worth it at that price point, but I dont know if I could convince myself to buy a full 100ml of this (not the fragrance’s fault, more Maison Martin Margiela’s)

First thing is that WTRS is a very nostalgic heavy fragrance. But it's twisted into a beautiful, fresh peppery rose fragrance. Smells amazing. Performs average. Worth buying for any occasion. Main wear in spring and cooler summer days but I would wear this fragrance whenever and wherever. Great pickup 👍

Wanted to like this from the concept but it's just really, really boring. Not much here other than an overdose of ozonic synthetics

Masculine peppery patchouli. The opening aquatic feeling and background bergamot is replaced by dark manly rose. Unfortunately, I do not get the imagery attempted, but it is an easy dumb reach for anyone wearing male marketed patchoulis.

It's hard for me to pick which Replica perfume exactly I hate the most, but I do know that this has to be near the very bottom. I know how beloved this perfume is and I'm happy for the people that like it. I, however, find it to be an utterly nauseating overload of ozonic chemicals with just enough florals to make you want to puke. There's something about the attempt at replicating petrichor that makes me want to steer clear of any 'rain' inspired perfumes in future. I cannot comprehend how some people love this, the only memory it inspires in me is being horribly hungover in a rose garden on a hot sunny day. If you like it enjoy it, not for me personally.

I absolutely don't get how this is not categorised as unisex or men's scent. It's pleasant, but on someone very outdoorsy. A little too sharp around the edges to be feminine

To the naked nose it kinda just smells like soapy florals but the more I smell it the more I get a morning in the Amazon rain forest after it got done raining and I love it so much ts is majestic and definitely more unisex or even for men to me

Very similar to Acqua Di Gio EDT, but less soapy and more floral; both are very fresh, light scents that I could blindly recommend to anyone wanting something timeless.

This really smells like a gloomy rainy morning. The scent is very nice and clean, and somehow it smells very wet. But I always feel sad when I wear this and it's so strange. This leans masculine in a slightly soapy/cologne/aftershave kind of way, but a female could pull it off too. I honestly don't know how to feel about this. It's not a bad scent at all, but I've never experienced a fragrance that makes me actually feel an emotion of sadness. It really feels like you're outside and everything is wet from the rain.

Opening smells like flowers. Dries down like dried rain. Like your shirt is still slightly damp. Quite nice but wouldn't buy a full bottle.

Aquatic and ozonic for sure. Lightly, but distinctly, floral. Somehow staying unisex....barely. leans feminine with the florals. Ozonic notes are a little harsh, slightly synthetic/unnatural feeling too. Not really getting any of the other listed notes. Doesn't actually smell like rain or petrichor, but is still a unique fragrance. I can definitely see how there would be a market for this--But it isn't one for me. Fresh and very clean, but not masculine, and not in line with "me".

Right up there with Kate Spade's "Walk on Air," After The Rain is a fresh, aquatic scent kissed with greenness and white florals. I enjoyed it immensely in the hot Texas summers, and also used the perfumed reeds across my home, but it appears that in 2024 the formulation changed, as it has not even a whisper of its former silage in any form, and disappears between the spray and contact with skin.

Well, darn it, I expected to like this, and if I were a man, I would. Much too masculine for my taste.

Whenever I’m unsure of what to wear, I always find myself coming back to this one. It features an aquatic note with a slightly dark undertone, accented by a touch of green. It’s a wonderful fragrance with a dual nature—refreshing yet possessing a certain shadowy quality. Its true appeal shines when applied to the skin, evoking the atmosphere of grass after the rain and a sense of humid air. The longevity and projection are just right; a single spray on three different points is plenty. I reapply it after about four or five hours.

Not for me. I was excited for a fresh scent, but this is just 100% hair salon or barber shop. Very unisex, maybe even leaning masculine and synthetic like "fresh scent" gilette shaving foam or hair spray.

This says its for women but im a man and just bought this for myself. I like this a lot. Its outdoorsy smelling, imo masculine. Im not sure its worth the money, but I like the scent. It will be in my 2026 summer rotation.

I was surprised this is listed as a women's fragrance, I loved it from first spray, it has that classic old school cologne bed. As a man, I like reaching for this before a date.

Starts off fresh, watery and green with a zing of pepper. I don't smell much bergamot on its own, but I think it's there to brighten everything up. Once the pepper settles, the scent becomes softer and more earthy. It's not earthy like damp or wet soil however. The pine is the note that stands out most to me. I don't pick up on the jasmine, rose or patchouli that are listed. It's difficult to describe because it doesn't smell like one specific thing. It's watery, aquatic, slightly salty and almost mineral-like. To me, it smells like standing beside a pine tree after the rain, with a rocky shoreline and sea somewhere nearby. There's a cool salty breeze running through it that makes it feel calming. It leans quite masculine on my skin, which isn't usually what I go for. I do enjoy wearing it, but I actually prefer the rain feeling of (the sadly discontinued!!) Marc Jacobs Rain, which feels softer, more floral and feminine to my nose. Longevity is always an issue with freshies, that's to be expected. Like many Replica fragrances I've tried, it sits close to the skin and fades fairly quickly. So yeah, it's a fresh, rainy, atmospheric fragrance that's easy to wear. It's a like, not a love. I'll continue to use this sample until it's gone, but wouldn't consider buying a full bottle.

This scent is very clean, to me when first applied on my skin it smells sort of like shaving cream then after wearing for awhile smells like soap, I think I get maybe a bit of the rose notes. It's nice its just not what I'm looking for.

This is a one-dimensional overly masculine scent. I bought a sample without realizing it was for women apparently, and you can imagine my surprise when I checked. I even tested it on two of my friends, both of them were convinced it was a male perfume. On my boy friend the perfume was a bit sweeter, I was kind of getting the rose, but on my girl friend and me it smelled purely aquatic, a bit citrussy and green. Nothing else, it feels like going into a perfume store and just asking for a male perfume. I picture this is what they would give you, very basic profile. This perfume smells like the worst grown man you know, it makes me nauseous. However most people won't find it unpleasant, but there's not much to love either. Just a middle of the road perfume 2/10

As much as I'd like to love this fragrance, all I can smell is the pink pepper, both on my skin and on clothes and fabrics. No rose, no rain, no nothing. Opening note? Pink pepper. Drydown? Pink pepper. The longevity is actually a lot better than other fragrances in the Replica line.

Wet photo of a photo Opens with a dirty aquatic note that has some light green aspects. I get a bit of the rose in the dry down, but reads as really one note to me. And that note is a puddle on a brick street that has some old petals floating in it. Compared to a lot of the other replica line, it's boring and uninspired. It's not offensive, but I can't imagine anyone complimenting it. The longevity isn't great either.

Floral, green and vaguely water-y, wouldn't say it smells like rain to me. Very spring... This one really isn't for me

someone you vaguely recognize as you frequent the same cafe steps into said cafe as rain pours down, they have an umbrella but don't escape the rain unscathed, you hope they don't smell like pennies and nickels. they dont. thank god. and they slide you their number, score!
