Hindu Kush

Come on, people! This is the fragrance community. 😂 How can I put this without going into a long, drawn-out history lecture ? 🤦♀️ Okay… Hindu Kush is a geographic and historical name; linked to the Persian kushtan, meaning “to kill” that’s it!!!! Then cannabis strains later borrowed the name. This has more to do with the former. It’s supposed to be a journey. Mancera’s Hindu Kush isn’t some novelty “smell like a bag of weed” cologne. It’s simply well blended, performs great, and is unique to say the least. IMHO

Love everything but the cannabis note,smells more like sticks or dry leaves to me. I dont hate it but i was expecting more of a well... ya know "REEFER" vibe lol. Overall though its gotten me compliments and it lasted forever on clothes, Definitely not a blind buy.

Another Mancera hit. UNique. Woody herbal with a green backbone - fougère lovers will get it immediately. Works year round, not locked into a season, which makes it more versatile than most of my heavy hitters. 5/5/5, beast mode performance, fills a room. Gentlemen, classic profile, no age ceiling really. Pricing around $60-70 on discounters for 4oz. I get heavily complimented on this. Would buy again. Highly recommended.

Hoping the bottle just needs to macerate or something. It opens with banana bubblegum and thick febreeze-like warm spices. The dry down is kinda nice but maybe just because I like patchouli. Im gonna leave it alone until fall n see what happens. got the bottle from joma (tester) maybe thats the problem...

Imagine walking into a Wild berry headshop. This is exactly what this fragrance smells like. I haven't really explored this fragrance yet, but it's definitely the most interesting and unique from Mancera. If you're hoping for cannabis, you'll be disappointed. The other notes though keeps you intrigued. Like most of Mancera, the longevity doesn't disappoint. Cooler weather fragrance and you can find great deals on this one. 710 (for now)

Greatest fragrance of all time. It genuinely smells good but very unique. The dry down is completely different from the way it smells for the first 3-4 hours, and it lasts for DAYS on fabric. It starts off spicy/herbal and sweet. There might be a little oudy-woodiness in there too. A bit of wood incense in there. Then it dries down completely different, fresh and sweet in a green kind of way. The dry down smell is addictive, it's the most unique scent. The dry down is the main character, the opening lasts 3-4 hours, but the fresh green sweet dry down lasts for days. If you spray your chest, your t-shirt will have this scent for 3 days. It kind of has a cannabis scent in the opening, but not really. It's so blended into the warm spices and sweet pepperiness that you don't think someone just hit the bong. No skunkiness.

Been wearing this since 2021 gotten so many compliments. def not blindbuy worthy, very green, herbal and kinda sweet scent. Dont get the marihuana note at all. The projection and sillage is nutszsz

Nothing to do with weed. Its very wearable but i feel like its nowhere near beast mode. I got 2023 batch with magnetic cap but its skin nowhere near beast mode. I will give it few weeks of maceration and i will update.

I don't know. I am really on the fence with this one. I am getting more of a wet cannabis stalks than fresh green buds. It is different, that's for sure, lol. Definitely not blind buy safe!

No mater how long you will try to like this one you not going to do!!! Not sure what Mr pier montale was trying to do here? This is not nice at all it is smells like you forgot to wash your hand after big seafood meal or something like that. Mancera forgiven for this one because they have too many nice one.

I just got a little sample of this, since I was interested by the notes and OH MY GOD, is it amazing! It leans slightly masculine, but surely not something that couldn't be "tweaked" a little by layering with something else. I layered this with Chloe Nomade Absolu and it is INSANE how good they go together! The fragrance itself is very, very well blended and balanced, on my skin I don't get anything bad smelling like rubber or fish, like someone had mentioned. I get this evocative earthy, herbaly, incensy, vanillic smooth wonder that just keeps on giving on my skin. Btw, I put it on a freshly moisturized skin with a coconut oil with Tiare flower aroma and it makes most fragrances DIVINE! I'd love to own a bottle or a decant of this, I think this might be one of my favorite Mancera fragrances!

One of the worst fragrances I tried. It has something sharp and screeching, not cannabis, in the background that gives me a headache. Very odd composition, not mass speaking.

This is a truly wonderful perfume. It has a very natural scent. There are no synthetics at all. I love it, I'm so glad I bought it. I'll try to get a spare bottle now. I could even use it in all four seasons. 2024 batch.

The dry down to me feels spiritual and uplifting. Smells like burning incense in the temple or religious place on a nice cool summer evening. Beautiful and uniquely captured by Pierre! That lingering scent on clothes, even after a wash, is quite a mystery! 100% recommended for something unique and earthy.

What i want to know is WHO upvoted cannabis in the notes?? I blind bought this based on the notes and it is nowhere near! What it DOES smell like is (as many other reviews say) grass, bananas and fish.. When i spray on paper or clothes, it smells like warm banana gummies for most of the time and after half a day, on clothes, a warm ambery smell stays. On my skin, for about an hour, there's a fishy rubbery smell when i try to sniff right off my wrist. This is not blind buy safe and very misleading note tree. I was expecting an incense smoky green fregrance, what is this??

Pungente e penetrante come un ago che ti entra nella testa. Aggressivo,sottile e compatto. Non si scioglie mai,resta un blocco che non si sa di cosa sappia. Le poche volte che lo ho indossato mi chiedevo : "ma di cosa mi sono profumato"? Di niente. Eppure riesce a suscitare quel tipo di curiosità che te lo fa annusare. Forse perchè è piccante e pepato e stizzica le narici. Non lo so.

Ive been hesitant to try this due to the cannabis note. But people told me its not what i would think. Its opening is a sweet green, incensey smell. The cannabis is not "pothead/marijuana." Its a very sweet herbal note. As it dries down, patchouli is VERY prominent. A very earthy soil dirt scent with the cannabis and spices. It smells VERY organic and natural. It would be like lighting a stick of incense in a forest. The patchouli is the main note to my nose, so if you are not a fan of patchouli, stay away from this one. I cannot smell the vanilla or white musk. Once it dries down, it stays a very warm wood meets moist earth smell with a sweet smoky vibe playing in the background. Hours in it settles into a calm sweet spicy green ans earth accord. This is definitely a unique scent! I want to say I love it, but I find it so strange. I dont dislike it at all. I just havent smelt anything like it. Ive even dpuble checked with others to see if I smell like marijuana and they all say no 😆 Great sillage and longevity as many have noted. The patchouli makes this quite masculine. Spring and summer is where Id feel this fits the best. Fall as well. I feel winter it would feel out of place for me personally. Its a popular one by Mancera and definitely unique. Im still trying to decide if I like it or love it and if I want a bottle.

I have had it over 1.5 years now and I have barely managed to get it half way through ! It is a rather peculiar fragrance, extremely earthy and green. Opens up with a cough syrup like sweetness filled with extreme moss green notes which I believe is the cannabis and dries down to a woody scent. The performance is highly nuclear, I sprayed it 5 times 3 on skin and 2 on clothes and went to my class. My friend pulled me away and asked me what was I wearing as the entire classroom smelled like that however, I couldn't notice due to the nose fatigue this causes. Not worth Blind Buying this. I really enjoyed this in the peak winter time during snowfall, those are the only days where this perfume shines the best and smells airy, high quality incense-green-woody. I am glad I got it for cheap or else I would've wasted 100+ quids on this.

I blind bought this based on reviews thinking it would be quite challenging…its not….its different but its a fantastic fragrance….certainly not offensive..but at the same time not middle of the rd…a lively spicy woody experience that i enjoy very much

Wierd, I like juuust about EVERYTHING this fragrance is about, LOVE. "Cold incense", Patchouli, its sweet, slightly, slight greeney. Then comes those light hints of "Fresh caught FISH! WTH?! Its not in your face, its not a nasty, rotten fishiness, but there is just the slightest hint of fresh fish in the early dry-down! I was going to get it anyways bc I just have a small sample and thought maybe it was my imagination, but now Im reading here on Fragrantica that Im NOT ALONE! Im usually a huge blind-buyer but decided to get a sample this time for so.e.odd reason, and MAN! Im glad I did bc I can do "Challenging" and unique, but FISH??! Hard pass sadly bc I like everything else about this. I wonder.if its just the samples?

Its very very mot blind buy safe! If u wanna something very unique, not ur typical fragrance then go ahead and try it guarantee you that probably you havent smelled smth similar. Very strong and room filler , people will first smell ur scent then probably will see you), this how one of my classmates (girl) said to me, she said even if ur not in classroom but ur smell will stay there for alot of time) But not for everyone, its like 70% people will dislike it , 30% like it !

Why has no one said this smells similar to TF black orchid. 14 hours on my skin. Projecting first 5. After that a Respectable elbows length cloud force field around me. The trail is a mazzer!!!

Smells exactly like Absinth by Nasomatto. Way better performance and a quarter of the price. Enough said.

a Beautiful scent, slightly jungly green vanilla. Raw smelling. Lattafa's Raed Silver smells 99% similar to this as well. Love them both, a unique freshie and underrated.

After a sharp opening this fragrance tones down into this wonderful creamy and sweet yet sophisticated scent. It gives a unique, rich man vibes but could also be a clubbing scent because of the sweetness. This doesn't scream for attention, people will smell this on you and will want to stay close and be your friend.
