This is beautiful. A vanillic white floral with a prominent rose. Excellent balance of notes gives a feeling of fresh flowers and yet some depth. In the drydown, it is somewhat reminiscent of Joy, although this is softer and less indolic than Joy. Very good longevity.

Perfect name, it is beautiful floral oriental. Super feminine, suitable for all day wear, I had so many compliments wearing this. I think thos is wedding day worthy, I really do. I love getting wafts of myself, I wear perfume primarily for my pleasure and so it doesn't need to be bombastic, but you will live a clean angelic trail with this perfume but not a choking one. I love it, love at first sniff and a total blind buy but I made an educated guess from the notes. Truly an Indian Dream.

I blind bought this fragrance as I love Mancera for their longevity and versatility and I was not disappointed. The sweet fruity note at first is beautiful and refreshing, then the dry down to a more woody vanilla makes this exactly what I want. It is the best of both worlds, sometimes I like the sweet scents, but not to last forever, this one gives it all. I'm very happy with this purchase, and as always, it has a nice longevity on my skin.

This is a stunning perfume! @semyonsemyoff : what do you mean by “doesn’t have anything Indian about it”. Exactly, what would an Indian perfume to your nose would smell like? As someone who grew up in a very hot, humid, western costal area of India, this perfume has a very specific perfumey-note from local Indian fragrance creators from back in 80s-90s. This exactly how a rich Indian lady would smell in the 90s, who didn’t use western designer perfumes. Think clean notes, with bit of Ponds talcum powder from 90s, and the perfect white floral perfume, with amber note, slightly musty (like white flowers crushed inside a wooden box) note from a local Indian perfumer. The base is clean floral, creamy sandalwood with musk note. This was a nostalgia trip for me, because I have smelled pretty ladies wafting down with this kinda perfume before French designer fragrances became popular. You will only appreciate this note if you have smelled it in the past or if you are able to catch the naughty, amber & white floral note, Or else it will just be a floral perfume if you don’t pay close attention to it. Definitely sample before you buy!

Nose Note #266 CAUTION! Very oily! Very strong. Very floral. It's a "very" fragrance and in this way it reminds me of Jardin Exclusif (meaning Kirke). It kind of goes in the same direction. I'm having hard time describing it otherwise. It made a similar impression on me as Jardin Exclusif minus the fruity aspect of it. Impossible in the summer. Too heavy. So far everything I've had from Mancera and Montale are about the most beastly fragrances I've tried. And now I see how it can be not a good thing... Just too strong for me. It doesn't have anything "indian" about it. Just a 100% feminine floral fragrance. Doesn't stand out much.

gorgeous but doest really perform well on me.

what a gorgeous surprise. I am a shameless blind buyer, I dont like florals so this was a risk but it really worked out for me. The vanilla stops the floral from being watery or urine-like. Its just so pretty, charming, girly, fresh, sweet. Just so cute. Projection not great, could last longer but its not terrible. I am an over sprayer sometimes so I just shower myself with it. I love getting whiff of it during the day Like vanilla spring in a bottle.

Blind bought based on the Dahlia Divin Le Nectar comparison. Not similar to my nose. I'd say they only share the woody aspect. I'd say this is not what I was expecting. Not that floral really. It's inoffensive but it's more woody than floral.. like sandalwood - vetiver are more dominant than the floral ingredients. Not a bad scent, just not something I'd reach for. I'll try mixing it to see if I keep it.

Анонім★★★★★

There is something in it that does not agree with me, maybe geranium? Don´t know.

Анонім★★★★★

I was expecting something more powerfull when I ordered a sample of this perfume. But in fact this one is vey soft. I like the smell, I don't love it.

I bought Indian Dreams six years ago and I remember that it was a love at first sniff. I can remember that I thought it's a refined, gorgeous, feminine scent of sweet flowers in a fluffy, powdery vanilla base. eventhough it was a sweet powdery creamy floral-vanilla, it also felt airy, fresh and clean. so pretty, classy, ageless and versatile. I remember that heliotrope, orange flower and vanilla were the most dominant notes to my nose. I used almost half of the huge 120mil bottle that year and then moved on to my other perfumes. I just craved it sometimes and went back to it. I remember that I stopped using it that often because I couldn't smell it on myself after a short while and it's bottle leaked so I couldn't carry it in my bag and reapply it during the day. Today I revisited it and I was shocked to find out it's changed a bit. I have a huge perfume collection and most of my perfumes are much older than this one. I have numerous +10 years old perfumes that haven't changed even a bit(I keep them in a dark, cool(below 20°C) place). I'm also pretty sure that it's not about a change in my taste and nose. I feel exactly the same as I felt a few years ago about 99% of my other perfumes. nowadays when I first spray it, I can smell alcohol for a few seconds. then it smells pleasant but very soapy. heliotrope is still dominant but a candied rose is as strong as heliotrope. it doesn't smell bad by any means but it's a like, not a love anymore. fortunately I'm ok with soapy scents and it still has a nice dose of sweetness that saves it. unfortunately in late drydown, the only thing left on my skin is nonsweet woody notes and I'm not a fan of pure sandalwood+vetiver+a hint of clean musk but it's so faint in that stage that I don't really mind it. I wrote this review to say this when perfume ages +5, it can get soapy and more rosy so have this in mind if you want to buy an old, used bottle or store your bottle for a long time P. S. I tried layering Indian Dreams with Britney Spears Nice Remix and it makes it a lot closer to what Indian Dreams used to smell like when it was new(maybe even better). it makes it more creamy, more delicious and sweeter and decreases the soapyness. like a true heavenly creamy, powdery floral gourmand. it also improves the longevity and sillage

This perfume is like walking into a fancy hotel filled with huge, beautiful flower bouquets. It's got a strong, luxurious scent that really stands out, just like you're surrounded by flowers. Even though it's hard to pinpoint exactly notes, don't be put off by 'Indian' in the title—it's not about spices at all. I think it's perfect for February, when spring is just around the corner but there's still a bit of a chill in the air. The wind catches the scent and makes it feel like you're in a bubble of lovely flowers. It's a special way to bring a bit of spring's beauty with you, even when it's still a bit cold outside.

Beautiful, floral and exotic, yet familiar because these flowers are spectacular and often immortalized. For a lady loving flowers this is a smooth, floral cloud of not too sweet deliciousness. Compliment getter, possibly the best Mancera in the floral spectrum. I loved my day in it. I think it will be universal, weather-wise. I am rarely this comfortable in a scent that is so clearly detectable all day around me.

I love this perfume.. I layer it with Royal Musk from Al Haramain. it’s sweet and clean . Very uplifting .. it’s not to sweet either. When I layer the two I get compliments all day and when I leave work 12 hours later I’m getting compliments in the elevator…

Powdered floral candy. Feminine, sweet borderline gourmand, candy-ish. There is no mentioned distinct classic orange blossom, or any type of rose, or bitter geranium. It`s generically floral and generically sweet with pleasant powder/musk. The sandalwood and vetiver start appearing only after a while. The choice of the name is unclear too- a powdered candy does not exactly associate with India? It`s nice, but a bit too generic coming from the house of Montale.

Selling a full, brand new 4oz bottle for $80, or better offer. I ordered the wrong fragrance and they will not accept a return.

Wore this today and I really liked it.. At first I found it to have an oily scent and felt that I had to rub it in .. It felt like a light spray oil at first and I didn’t smell much perfume it was weird.. next thing I know I’m getting whiffs of this soft amazing sensual scent.. it’s clean soft and floral. I jump in the car with the family and my daughter says she likes the scent.. it literally started radiating out of no where.. it’s been hours and I’m enjoying my sent bubble.. it was never strong but I was able to smell it on my errand run .. I will have to update you guys because this perfume did catch me on surprise.

"Smells like most women's fragrances all rolled into one" :)) Yes! But this is not bad. It is intriguing how it metamorphose like in a slideshow. I like most the Cinema stage in it. Maybe I will bye it at the end.

Got a sample of this today in the mail. The opening packed a punch and I was instantly in love. Jumped on to buy the whole bottle BUT……. While I was waiting for my Internet to come back it dried down and fell flat. Smells generic and scent is barely there. I wish the whole scent could have stayed like the opening in the initial first blast ☹️I will try others with similar too notes to see if I can capture that beautiful burst in the first spray.

Анонім★★★★★

Got this as a sample, sprayed it on and said.......dang, this is feminine. That being said I let it sit on my skin and enjoyed the aroma. It's powdery and slightly seductive. If you wore this and were next to me, I'd definitely come in for a sniff. It sparks some curiosity and while not the be all of seductiveness, it's great for Netflix and Chill on a winter night. It definitely will get me to hold you closer and bury my nose into your neck. 7.5 out of 10. Great for after a shower. Calming. Now get over here and snuggle up!

This smells extremely similar to YSL Cinema, which is now discontinued. Name Indian Dream is really not fitting. I really wonder why did thry call this that? This fragrance is extremely normal smelling. I love Cinema and I love this but it is not niche smelling at all. And nothing in this fragrance screams India to me.

Анонім★★★★★

For me, this a good perfume. Smells clean, fresh, feminine and it really makes me think of how indian women would smell. This has something special and I think if you wanna feel that way, this perfume suits you. Feminine, special, clean.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a beautiful scent, don’t listen to thd bad critique- its feminine, beautiful, good sillage and lasting power. Possibly my favourite Mancera up to date.

Анонім★★★★★

Fresh, powdery and easy to wear but a bit boring for me. It's mostly white flowers and vanilla. It stays very close to the skin and lasting power is mediocre. I'm glad I bought a sample first.

Анонім★★★★★

Sweet and powdery florals mixed with sweet vanilla. Unbearably sweet. I cannot decide if I totally dislike Indian Dream or it is just “not my scent profile”. Everything I like about floral notes is removed in this - no freshness, no bitterness, no juiciness. Just some orange flower airiness which clashes with powdery heliotrope and disappears. I get all the florals listed in equal parts, apart from rose (I don’t get any), but only the sweet and cloying part of flowers is kept. And that is topped with sweet vanilla. Vetiver is strong in the opening - leathery and rather dirty (which doesn’t help the composition - only intensifies perfume’s strength). Indian Dream has strong sillage and lasting power up to 12 hours. Base notes listed are also detectable doing their work and grounding the scent, but I would prefer lighter and airier character. Also the quality of them feels dubious, or disproportionate amounts of vanilla are just dragging them down.

Анонім★★★★★

Indeterminate floral with a hint of soap. There's a sour note at the top that fades quickly (thinking it is the "orange flower" note). My skin amps soapy musks and I'm not a big fan of smelling like soap - so if you love this sort of thing, this might be for you. Definitely less exotic than the name suggests.

Анонім★★★★★

I confirm what has already been said: to be a "mancera" it takes very little time and has a poor projection. It begins in a "soapy" way for me. Then it becomes more refined. What my "simple" nose feels is heliotrope, jasmine (not indole) and musk and vetiver. I bought some simples and definitely won't buy the full size. It is very nice but nothing unforgettable

Анонім★★★★★

i ordered a sample of this and i could not believe it. such a disappointing, generic, boring smell. flowery and nothing else. smells extremely cheap! :( Not worth it at all for me.

Анонім★★★★★

Very lovely smell, Last over 14 hours on the skin. This could be a great perfume to wear to the office, to your parents in law or for a wedding. It is to soft for clubbing and to sweet for sport. It is subtile and not offending anyone. The drydown reminds me of Valentino's Voce Vita, but Indian Dream stays much longer on the skin.

Анонім★★★★★

It's a quite feminine and unique scent. I don't find this generic at all. I really like the vanilla base with the flowers and a little bit of spiciness. I can smell orange blossom the most. I think it has every quality to become a signature scent. Sillage is moderate (it's not weak, just not offensive), lasting power is above average. Perfect for office wear as well. I think it wearable in every season, but spring is the one when it can truly sparkle.
