a bottle for spoiled woman. powderbomb, still a love. at the opening and first 30 mins, a spectacular line which is very rosy, very leafy, yet very purple, I did not smell in anywhere else. I call it cold violet leafs. That's why it will be a forever fragrance for me

Lola by Marc Jacobs feels like that girl who’s sweet… but also a little unpredictable. It opens fruity and kinda sparkly (pear + grapefruit vibes), then suddenly turns into full on floral mode with rose and peony, very soft but still playful 🌸

Lola by Marc Jacobs is an enchanting fragrance that beautifully blends fresh, sweet, and floral notes. The rose and floral top notes create a delicate and romantic opening, followed by a soft, musky finish with hints of vanilla. It’s a fragrance that feels elegant yet playful, perfect for those who enjoy a light, feminine scent. The bottle itself is a work of art, and the overall experience is one of pure joy. I highly recommend this perfume for everyday wear or any occasion that calls for a touch of sophistication and sweetness.

the first and only perfume I ever made my mom buy for me. did I ever wear it? naw. she couldn't stand scents. I was obsessed with the bottle in ads, I thought it looked so cool and unique and chic. nylon mag era. (un)fortunately I have the roller version. I didn't do a very good job keeping out of sunlight so it's likely changed over the years; now I get kind of a malty opening. I still never wear it out as it's a bit too girly for my current disposition.

I am being honest, this my college years… fresh, careless and fun. I am absolutely hear broken that it has been discontinued: I would be the happiest person even to have this perfume back 🥹🥹🥹it was such a wonderfully wonderful scent.

This was my favorite perfume back in the day. I have this huge, beautiful bottle on my shelf. It's a piece of art. I used to enjoy the pepperiness of this scent, combined with the floral. I always felt that it smelled better on my skin then it did coming out of the bottle. It definitely needed the time to sink into the base notes. As I have aged, i have been less and less drawn to it, and I don't wear it anymore. I use it more now to make the bedroom smell nice, which it does!

Trashy- glam pinterest girl vibes. Very naive, yet unapologetic. Dusty rose-berries. Maybe I am the one who's losing her mind, or deceived by pink-purple bottles, but again gives the Lolita Lempicka, Vera Wang - Princess, Mugler- Alien, Guerlain- LPRN, Dior-Poison Girl vibes, even DNAs are different.

This was very popular at my school when I was a teenager. The whole classroom smelt of it. I remember this as a very light, juicy scent.

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this for a long time! I actually purchased it years ago and found myself lacking (forgetting) a birthday gift for a friend. I hadn’t opened it yet and quickly wrapped it, intending to buy another. That never happened and then it was discontinued! I finally found a bottle and I boy this is different than I expected! I don’t care for the opening but I like it after a few minutes! However, I think this is best suited for the fall! It’s earthy and deep! I don’t remember the add campaign, I’ll have to look it up, but it sounds like that was the target season! If you like Tonka you’ll probably like this!

When I first smelled this I was 24. An older lady had it. I didn't characterize it as old fashioned, but as designed more for middle aged women. I found the smell strange, but the bottle was cute in her vanity. Now I have a bottle I just used today because I'm a huge daisy/ dot fan w all their flankers and they keep pumping daisies out the wazoo. I'm obsessed with trying them all. Every time a new color comes out, instead of trying all 3, like I used to, I'm just gonna keep replacing the basic flankers I have. For example, if daisy paradise love or wild daisy runs out, I'll just be smart and replace that one. Even at 39 yrs, I still have to have one flanker from the main 6, including the DCd dream and I actually include dot and all it's bug flankers as a 3rd kind of flanker of daisy. But I don't correlate Lola because although it looks similar to daisy, dot seemed more on brand w daisy. I just love certain flankers that smell similar, and certain flankers that are wonderfully different like daisy paradise love. The new yellow ones coincidentally supposedly smell like the flankers I have right now, except for love and I forget the actual name, which is said to smell like the old transparent yellow love. Which was part of the new sunshine release. Love daisy sunshine. Hah. Hated it.

I just remembered i had the ring version of this as a teenager! I liked it but it was quite "mature" tbh

Love smells like princess trapped in a dusty turret

wore this and my friend said I smelled like an “old witch” genuinely gave me such a good laugh. This is something I can’t see most people pulling off. If this is your scent, it’s your scent. Though floral I find it to be quite bitter smelling, a bit dusty even. In no way is it offensive but it’s definitely not inoffensive if that makes sense. It reminds me of what it smells like after it rains, the scent of the soil specifically mixed with really perfumey florals. If you wear this, people will notice it immediately. I can’t say they will have pleasant reactions. When worn down to the base notes it is charming.

Sharp, harsh, floral. This has a sharp note in it which smells like celery on me. I stuck it out and wore it for the whole day, and although the harsh note did soften a bit (a few hours later), I could still smell it and still didn't like it. The most prominent floral note for me was rose. I tend to find rose always comes across as "old church lady", and for that reason I never find rose forward fragrances to be particularly dark, mysterious or gothic/witchy. When I smell rose forward fragrances, I imagine someone sitting in the pews saying their Hail Marys or some shit. I soo wanted this to be as fun, interesting, and controversial as Lola by The Kinks, but alas it is not. It gives me more 🎵Ave Maria🎵 vibes with some celery chucked in for good measure, or in my case, bad measure. Unless you have tried this before, I highly recommend trying it before buying it, if you can find a bottle to buy that is.

This one will always be near and dear to my heart. It is quite polarizing. My best friend thinks it smells like old lady, and I absolutely love how it smells. I def had 2 bottles in the stash in case it ever got discontinued. And oh, Lola as well.

Анонім

Love the smell, but unfortunately gives me a headache if I spend the whole day wearing it :( gave it to my mom and she loves it. I found out I don't do well with Rose notes, too bad!

I have one 100 ml old bottle (no cap) for trade in E U 🌺

Worst perfume ever period. 🤮

From the reviews I expected something very dark and peppery. On me it's quite a juicy, jammy pear/rose with a tiny bit of pepper in the beginning. Very pretty, I imagine this would be good on a date or at a museum.

Анонім

I just missed sooo much, it reminds me an old version of me, I can tell you on which era I was by the perfume I was waring it on that time, anyways if you have the chance to buy it do it, you won't regret it.

God, this perfume is so lovely. Fairly complex compared to most Marc Jacobs fragrances, and it lasts ages. One spray will last all day, and then some. Underneath the floral notes, it almost smells like pencil shavings. Very sad it was discontinued, but luckily it's so strong that a bottle lasts ages.

This is my kind of perfume! The bottle may look tacky and silly with the oversized rubber flower stopper but it's an eye popping cute vanity table perfume if you're like me and are a very girly girl. I love how it looks in my bedroom. Lola smells a bit like a 1980s or 1990's vintage fragrance. It's not quite the same but it's giving off vibes of Ex'cla-ma'tion by Coty. It's a perfume one would have found in the wardrobe of Lisa Turtle from Saved By The Bell, or Molly Ringwald's room, or in cartoons, Fifi LaFume from Tiny Toons. It's got an innocent youthful girl vibe; but with a touch of maturity due to it's being a floral. When you spray it, the scent comes off as exceedingly sweet; almost sour, with a sticky and gooey floral oil type of vibe. The florals are coming through almost immediately with a distinctive geranium and rose pair. Not terribly fruity but there is a can't-miss-it grapefruit accord that is also coming through. The grapefruit and pink pepper give it a nice bite. This is still mostly more geranium and rose oil type of perfume. The scent is strong and lasts forever. The dry down reveals - at least to my nose - musk and vanilla. This is like a big flower has wrapped it's petals and sepals and stem all around you. Gorgeous and simple linear and sweet. If you like sweet florals and vintage style modern scents definitely for you. A fragrance to put on after you dress up in a pretty spring or summer 'retro' fashion, as in a real dress, not just a skirt, a nice cocktail dress, bold colors like violet, purple, pink or red, and with lipstick and high heels, make up. This is a very womanly dressy fancy scent but at the same time not too sophisticated, like a young woman who aspires to higher social status and is still learning and climbing the social ladder. It's also somehow innocent, cartoony cute like a dress for Minnie Mouse or Betty Boop. It's a colorful perfume. But you have to really like florals for you to like it.

I got this because people say it reminds them of North Bondi. I'm here to say it absolutely doesn't. This smells like an old lady and her house. It’s like they added the “old people smell” chemical into this bottle. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or smth. But if this truly is what it smells like, please do not come near me wearing it🙏🏻

Lola by Marc Jacobs is beautiful to my nose. Very sad it got discontinued. I had to find a bottle on ebay (very risky) but I managed to find it. It's pink pepper on steroids at first but then you get that gorgeous fresh-cut rose and sparkly peony floating in and ah, it's so special. Best part for me is the dry down. Very warm and musky. It only works when the weather is around 50 or 60 deg Fahrenheit. I love it.

Анонім

This perfume is really strong and complex. It might give you a headache, but I always get compliments when I wear it, haha. It has a great sillage and lasts a long time on me. The scent is a mix of flora, fresh, and spicy notes. Although I personally don't like getting headaches, I still wear it on occasions when I want to be the center of attention.

I have a near full 50ml bottle available for sale/swap. Located in Australia. :)

I really love this perfume. It didn't seem to get a lot of love from reviewers and I can't understand why. A much more complex perfume than it was given credit for and one of the most beautiful dry downs I have ever smelt. Also received a lot of compliments with this one. Sorry that it was discontinued.

Last time i've smell it about 10 years ago, i don't remember clearly the the way it smell. I just remember that is about the pink pepper and rose, two sexiest notes mixed together. That was the most beautiful, most seductive, and sexiest femine fragrance i ever smelled. Hope to smell it again in future, sometime, somewhere...

In cold weather it's nauseating. In warm late spring and summer weather this is mesmerizing! It's so gorgeous and sexy 💗
