At first spray I thought oh god no. But as it dries down this becomes a creamy peppery rose with a hint of sweetness. It’s an elegant warm rose scent, ideal for late autumn curled up on a fur throw in front of a cosy fireplace with a brandy in hand. This is especially beautiful layered with Velixir’s Aphrodite and the projection of both together is just mwah

I never thought much of rose fragrances but this is a lovely rose, I tried it in a store and kept thinking about it. To me it smells gentle yet powerful, silently confident and mysterious. I simply had to buy a bottle and I can't wait for autumn/winter, it will probably shine even more! On the down side, shortly after I spray it my nose gets blind to it and I cannot really identify the base notes. My partner unfortunately can, because a couple of hours after I sprayed it he said I smelled like 'an old man's room filled with dusty books and stale tobacco'. That was shocking to hear because to me this fragrance is perfect but I guess we're all different and that's what makes it fun.

I saw a few men mention that this perfume is masculine. It sounds borderline crazy to me. It is a very feminine classic deep rose. Very similar to Portrait of a Lady, but better. This perfume is a bit more jammy and rose-focused. The patchouli is more balanced and doesn't take over the entire fragrance, like it happens with POAL. It is a beautiful, deep, seductive, a little mature rose. Excellent projection and longevity. If this fragrance was a colour - it would be maroon.

My daily in winter, might switch to the extrait idk, for now I find the edp to be a better rose. You can wear it as a man, I mean you'll have to enjoy rose obviously, performs really good, good projection amazing in short

Reading these reviews makes me wonder if we smelled the same one! To me this is a fantastic, classic clean rose scent. The dry down remains a beautiful realistic rose, sweet, deeply floral.

Rose is undoubtedly the muse of perfumery. But with such flexibility in the olfactory sense comes a steep cost of having hundreds of options to choose from. Aurélien Guichard promises that he overdoses his own Rose Centifolias to craft a “modern-rose” and he absolutely delivered. Could it be worn by a miserable director in a suit ? Absolutely. Could it be worn by a youthful lady in a satin dress ? Undoubtedly. Could it be worn by a teenager on his way to verbally harass a drive-thru worker for a viral video? If you insist ! Many noses automatically assume that any Rose forward fragrance crafted after 2015 has been tampered with by the hands of an Oud lover. - Not in this case. This is the pepper and patchouli here taming the stereotypically feminine rose at the top to make it a solid uni-sex rose that radiates and radiates and radiates and is best suited for nightly ordeals and outings due to its spiky and attention grabbing sillage. Performance is exceptional and its versatility makes it well worth the most price ( only if you find it at a discounter. )

One of the best rose fragrance, very masculine and gentlemanly. can’t imagine a female wearing this.

So, Madonna just said in an interview that she sometimes layers Portrait of a Lady with this. Apparently, it smells "pretty and delicious". Hmm, now I'm curious...

The best rose scent I've smelled lately, an aquatic rose with spicy, gourmand notes

Oh, what a surprise. I’m usually not a rose person at all, in fact, it’s one of my least preferred scent profiles, but this one genuinely converted me. This is the first rose fragrance I’ve ever added to my collection, and it strikes a beautiful balance between elegance and edge. It opens with a heady rose, quickly lifted by a subtle wave of spice. What impressed me most is that it never turns cloying, sweet, or heavy. Instead, it carries a fresh, almost ethereal quality while still maintaining a spicy, woody, and slightly earthy backbone. It’s a stunning composition, but definitely not an everyday, “easy reach” scent. You need to be in the right mood for it, it doesn’t fade into the background. This one makes a statement. Excellent presence and longevity. A real standout.

Deep jammy spicy rose! Fragrance for a femme fatalé. IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes

This is definitely a “badass rose scent” as stated above. So much so, that it’s back up bottle worthy! Although, with the powerhouse strength of this one, it’ll be a while to you get to it. Finally found my signature scent! 🌹

Wow this is some edgy girl. She probably has a dark past, hidden piercings, lives in a place that smells like cold cigarettes, and used to listen to Lana del Rey but it's now too normie for her. I see Rose Amira in the "Reminds me of" but to me they have entirely different vibes! I find Rose Amira dark-elegant-glamorous-secretive while Radical Rose is giving dark-edgy, almost vulgar, anti people-pleasing, self-accomplished bad girl. I love Rose Amira but Radical Rose is not me unfortunately. I think it's the saffron and/or labdanum that's giving it this too edgy vibe to me. Artistically it's fun, but it's a "dislike" for my taste!

Yep, I found my new love I thought it was going to be another rose patchouli combination that I love but already have too many in my collection and somehow this blew my mind on first sniff, so much so that I had goosebumps.. with that reaction I knew I was going to buy it, I only didn't know it gets better with the dry down 😍

Анонім

Y’all may not believe this but the dry down is almost identical to Shalimar Milliseme Rose. It starts as a deeper rose and green patchouli and dries down to a soft slightly spicy rose. It’s magnificent!

Анонім

My love.. I was not expecting to fell in love with that much rose dominant one but it is really among one of my best ones.

Анонім

very heavy rose and patchouli it’s too much for me way too harsh it’s the kind of fragrance you smell walking past someone and think it’s ok but if you was stuck in a room with them you would feel sick

Анонім

Hmmmm...This one is 4-in-1! A nice mix of a Portrait of a lady, Oud satin mood, Rose prick and Delina. Very complex and sophisticated.

As a self proclaimed Rose Lover, I’m sorry to say that I’ve finally found a rose fragrance that I do not like in Radical Rose. I like all of the notes listed individually, so this should be a slam dunk, but it becomes a very heavy, vintage smelling rose. Longevity is great though, so if you enjoy this perfume, you’ll be happy with that.

One of my favorite rose fragrances I have ever smelled. Wow. Sadly, it does not dry down on my skin the way I would like because it pulls a bit too spicy on me. I ended up giving it to my mother, and oh my goodness, this fragrance is SO beautiful when it works on someone. It is balanced, sweet, yet also very hypnotic with the pepper and patchouli.

Honestly, I’ve had this sample for a while, but I never thought much of it when I first sprayed it on my wife’s wrist. To me, it was a sweet, jammy rose—albeit a very nice one. I didn’t give it a chance past the opening because I dismissed it as slightly too feminine. However, I gave it another shot recently, and I am so glad I let it develop this time. I think it is actually perfectly unisex—even a tad masculine now. The scent has incredible range and changes noticeably throughout. As it dries down, the rose fades into the background and an earthy patchouli takes center stage. It has an extremely subtle "wet earth" quality, like the air right as it begins to rain. This scent feels mature and carries a certain melancholy. If you’ve ever watched Cowboy Bebop—that scene where the rose is lying on the ground in the rain—this is exactly the vibe it emits. I feel like this is wearable year-round; it works for dressy occasions or casual wear, as the coolness of the saffron and patchouli make it beautifully well-rounded. It isn't cloying, but it’s certainly not a light "freshie" either. Plus, the projection is massive for a solid four to five hours. I am so tempted to buy a full bottle, but I already have way too many fragrances! I might just buy it for my wife and "borrow" it every now and then.

I love this beautiful fragrance. I know that there are haters out there. But each to their own is what I say. And I respect their reviews. But honestly what is wrong with this comforting and long lasting fragrance ? I’m in Scotland and our weather is so unpredictable that I can honestly say it’s lovely in the summer ,especially in the evenings. Sitting outside with friends and a glass of wine in my hand. Total bliss.

Анонім

Bought radical rose as a blind buy. I live on an island with little choice- saw it on an offer from a go to online retailer and thought why not. I really dislike strong patchouli and got rid of Creed queen of silk for the exact same reason. I’ve sprayed it twice on two separate occasions and I can say that I appreciate the quality of the ingredients but I don’t like that the patchouli stands out so prominently. It’s more masculine in my opinion, lasts forever on clothing and is just too basic a fragrance for such a high price tag. Get a sample before buying this fragrance- I’m a gambler and sometimes I lose- now I’m going to have to sell it on a lot cheaper and take to loss.

Warm spicy rose nice but not too special

Анонім

Smells like a former pageant beauty who decided to give up performing and just be herself. This scent pleases only its wearer and no one else. Smells like self regard and inner wealth.

Анонім

Is the rose in the room with us? Said rose lasts for 5 minutes tops and then it turns into this sickly sweet chocolate dessert. Disgusting. What a huge disappointment.

Анонім

To me this smells so much like Frederic Malle Portrait of A Lady Eau De Parfum — rich, spicy rose with that warm, slightly powdery dry-down.If you want something really special, try layering it with Oud Maracuja — trust me, do that and thank me later.

Анонім

smells like my nanny in the 80s. I am a huge fan of Matiere Premiere but this...

Анонім

dark deep rose with a slightly soapy quality, doesn't ever go too deep into that territory but the notes give off a pretty accurate representation of what this is. got a few people saying it smells good so id say it's a pretty appealing scent! perfectly unisex imo but i absolutely love rose so it doesnt take me much to start glazing a rose fragrance

Анонім

At first, a strong and pleasant, spicy, jammy rose. A little dark but yet uplifting. This is what I was hoping for (but didn’t find) with Zaharoff’s Halfeti Black Rose. Makes me want to keep sniffing; never a hint of suffocating, churchlady powdery rose, as in Amouage’s Opus XII Rose Incense. The drydown is rather linear, but as it smelled so good from the get-go, I’d call that a good thing. However, it’s not as strong as I’d hoped and became a skin scent within a couple hours. I look forward to comparing the extrait version.
