My friend said that it smells like the doctor's office, but I love it. it makes me feel happy.
This perfume has definition. As a person who sometimes goes noseblind to scents, I can definitely smell this one, which is a testament to its architecture. This has a bubblegum candied smell. It would be great for someone who likes sweet florals.
Prodigieux Le Parfum Nuxe!!! 95% the same! trust me It has stronger sillage, but from the first second it is Prodigieux Le Parfum Nuxe
Smells like orange marshmallow with a hint of caramel. Lovely. A bright, sweet, sparkling cloud of pink and orange.
It smells like candy, specifically grape jolly ranchers or anything grape. Projects like a beast if your into that candy esk dna.
I have a bottle to sell - around 50ml left. Old formulation (the blue one). PM :)
Yes, this is in the Sweet Bad Bitch category of Oriana and Love Don't Be Shy, and I respect that it's for someone (probably a lot of people, since this is one of the perfume house's most popular fragrances), but it's just not for me... I don't mind catching whiffs of it from my wrist, but it's not enough. For some reason it REALLY reminds me of Zoologist's "Bee". I miss the skank
Killian font be shy yeterince tatlı şekerli midemi bulandırıyor kışın bile fazla gelen bu parfümden sonra sintra da ona benzer resmen ilk açılış ilk bir saat farklı ama sonra tamamen dont be shy oldu ögggghhhh
I was quite determined to like this and the notes are up my alley, but something in it just made me feel queasy. Maybe the petitgrain as it’s pretty strong at first, and then lingered for a couple hours before getting to a more gourmand dry down. I sprayed a tiny spot on my wrist and I felt like I could not escape whiffs of this perfume-so that says something for its strength. Lasted a good 5 hours before I started to scrub it off. It is similarish to LDBS by Kilian but has a unique edge to it, less friendly imo. Marfa also bothered me which is so discouraging! I’ll keep trying more of this house’s fragrances and maybe I’ll find one I like.
I have major problems with the caramel. I remembered it being much better. Oh no.
This scent is absolutely gorgeous. If you love orange blossom and gourmands, this marries the two so well. It's fresh and floral/orange blossom in the opening, but then it dries down to this addictive caramel marshmallow vanilla that's still not too sweet. It has incredible lasting power as well. I sprayed some on my wrist over my watch band at the beginning of the week and could still catch whiffs of it at the end of the week on my watch.
I am obsessed with this after wearing for a bit. This is the most expensive perfume I've ever purchased for myself and honestly I am not regretting it at all. It smells sooooo good. It's not even my typical scent profile of choice but I get so many compliments when I wear it that I don't care. I just enjoy smelling good.
this is perfection (on me)
Me acaba de llegar y lo usé rápido dura un montón la verdad y un olor florar pero dulce nada empalagoso me encantó lo eleve un poco con el dossier de floral marshmallow
Testing this from a decant, and the juice arrived in terrible condition—it turned. The vial had leaked in transit, the liquid was a deep orange‑gold (far darker than real Sintra), and the scent was clearly oxidized. What I received leans into a heavy, sticky Love Don’t Be Shy vibe that Sintra normally doesn’t have, which makes me think I got old, contaminated, or cross‑contaminated perfume.
Love don’t be shy Dupe
I adore Sintra. It's definitely an interesting fragrance, which is partly why I like it, and I can see why the strong pettigrain in the open can be a turn off. I personally enjoy pettigrain, but it's quite strong on first spray. The beauty of Sintra is in the dry down. The marshmallow and caramel combo sounds like it would be overwhelmingly cloying, but it dries to a much softer, creamy sweetness. The pettigrain is still there to ground it, the cinnamon adds a savory aspect, and of course the neroli and orange blossom share the stage with the sweet notes. These are some of my fave notes and I think this blend is wonderful, somehow alluring in its uniqueness until it quiets into a sweeter softness. I'm a sucker for orange blossom, so it's no surprise I like Sintra! It's a gorgeous spring bouquet, and brings back memories of my own visit to this charming Portuguese town a few years ago. I know the reviews below are mixed to comical in reaction to this fragrance, so it's definitely not for everyone! But I really love Sintra and am so happy to own a full bottle, esp in the more colorful, tiled design (I'm so bummed by the new packaging). I am excited to wear it on late spring/summer evenings for some bright sweetness, and also in the fall for a more cozy vibe
Its very unique, special and I m still not sure if I like it or I hate it situation. Lots of orange but not as a fruit, it's kind of an orange sugar vibe and some green notes that gives a coughing syrup. And btw I live in Sintra, can't say it has something to do with it at all :) I might like it more but a little later...now its a very orange coughing syrup to me
I am selling Sintra to sell, new and sealed :) Got a sample and dont love it as I thought I would...
Smells like peas?????
I got this one 3 days ago and in the store I fell in love with it but when I used it the next day i get a sharp-sweet note very similar to d&g devotion which I also have but got bored of the extreme sweetness. Today I used it again and now feels less sweet and i really want to like it so i will keep using sintra until I gaslight myself into liking it because that was pricey :/
They changed the scent and the bottle?? Wtf This used to be so immaculate. I have the 2nd edition bottle. I wish I would've kept the original white bottle. My bottle is opaque with the regular Sintra Portuguese tiling. The bottle I have is 1000% better than a ldbs. Its beautiful orange blossom meringue scent. Thats coming from someone who hates orange blossom 80% of the time. Its the petitgrain here that helps. I love bergamot
My initial impression was of a strong, medicinal smell that stays prevalent when I put my nose close up to my skin. From arm’s length, however, it smells like artificial grape flavoring; I can see why come people compare it to cough syrup. Interestingly for me, the medicinal smell and grape flavoring smell are separate… I experience them at different distances. As it dries down, the medicinal and grape smells dissipate, and I’m left with neroli and marshmallow, but they don’t really blend or meld together. It just smells like there’s neroli, and there’s marshmallow, and they’re just kinda… there together. Like rather than one thing that is bittersweet, you have a bitter thing and also a sweet thing; that’s probably the best way I can explain it.
Very sweet caramel/orange blossom scent. And it reminds me so much of something, but I can't put my finger on it. The drydown reminds me of that bubblegum sweetness LDBS has, but Sintra is more of a journey of a perfume. It's overall a very nice scent if you like sweet perfumes, tho it doesn't stand out too much to me compared to some other niche scents. It would probably be a good introductory niche as it's quite likeable.
This takes me on a journey. Starts off extremely green. I don’t mind that at all as im guessing from the petitgrain. But then it slowly starts getting very sweet. The performance i got was about 5 hours.
lemon nerds candy
So, I thought I would really love Sinatra, but after testing a couple days...it's a meh...for me. In the beginning, the smell can be off-putting, but then the dry down comes and I get Killian Love Don't Be Shy vibes... Glad I didn't buy a full bottle -- thanks to Scent Split. Yep, the longer it is on the skin, the end notes are KLDBS, so what's the point of it, especially at that price point. I'll pass.
I just blind bought a decant of this as I was really interested to try it based on the notes and reviews, but it's so off-putting. It's extremely medicinal. Literally smells like neroli/orange blossom/anise mixed with caramel. Extremely cough syrup like. The dry down is less herbal and more sweet but this is definitely not something I'd want to smell like. I'm not a fan of Don't Be Shy either, so this might just be not my fragrance family...
i love ldbs and oriana so I expected to love this too. For some reason this smells like straight up glue sticks to me. It should be a nice smell but its just reminds me so much of glue sticks I can't wear it without thinking I smell like a glue stick.
I have a strange time with this perfume. First of all, it reminds me of Osiris by Sylvaine Delacourte, honeyed orange, delicious, I sold Osiris because it was too strong to use around my partner or at work, but I absolutely loved it. This is a less intense version of it and the overlap is in the first 70% before Sinatra becomes just caramel, which Osiris doesn’t do. The strange bit is that I fist smelled Sintra while testing Memo frags, I liked it a lot, a few months later I smelled the same bottle in the same shop and really didn’t fancy the scent, I was confused of how did I like it before!! Months later, I got a 10ml on a full bottle purchase from Memo and I again very much enjoyed it. The scent is honeyed orange, decadent, feminine, the mid and dry down have a prominent caramel note. Performance is great on me, I could smell it clearly 8-10 hours fall after I sprayed it on, in late December!! Might purchase a full bottle if a good price comes along.
