Missoni Wave

I don't own them so i'm not sure, but I think it's closer to Versace Pour Homme than Allure Homme Sport. Edit: I guess it was only the first few sprays that were off... now at more than 10 sprays and I definitely get more of Allure homme sport. Edit 2: drydown (3h+) this kinda reminds me of bois imperial without that overpowering akigala, a lot fresher, but still a light resemblance.

Is it just me or does anybody else get CDNIM vibes from this? I haven’t seen anyone else mention it in the comments. It reminds me of a smoother CDNIM.

I’m glad i got a 100ml backup bottle of this after initially purchasing a 50ml one. Prices are insane at discounters now that it’s discontinued. I’m talking $130 for a 100ml bottle when they used to be $40-50! It’s such an easy, dumb reach for those warm summer days.

Smells more like lemon cleaning product on the dry down. Quality def way below Chanel but i do smell the resemblance

Certified banger. Even if longevity sucks. Everyone should have a bottle. Edit on the next day: first day of wearing it publicly i got a compliment from lady around 60 I opened the door for at the mall. Said it's nice and bitter. +1 to wanting to wear it next time

Always have this in my Summertime rotation. Cheap fresh fragrance that does what it’s supposed to do…pull plenty of compliments! Hope they never discontinue this fragrance being it’s one of my favorite Summer Bangers

A fresh aqua fougère... more depth that I expected... I like it!

Opens up similar to Eros edp , after 15-20 mins its a very nice scent .. I get about 6 hours give or take.

Weak projection and sillage. Skin scent from first couple of sprays, maybe 3 hours and then nothing. Nice magnetic cap and bottle, that's it.

I looked at the notes Since i get sinus infections and nasal congestion the Camphor bomb in this will clear my sinuses. You can spray shower walls turn on hot water walk in and its like a cure.

Sad to hear this is discontinued. Got it on amazon for $35, worth every penny. This reminds me of Versace Pour Homme. Perfect light scent for the gym or work.

What can I say about Missoni Wave that hasn't already been said a million times? At this point, this fragrance has been around long enough that most collectors already know the story. Christophe Raynaud absolutely knocked this one out of the park. From the presentation to the scent itself, Missoni Wave punches so far above its price point that it almost feels unfair. The bottle is heavy and substantial in the hand, the magnetic cap deserves every bit of praise it gets, and the atomizer absolutely paints you with fragrance. Everything about the experience feels more expensive than the price tag suggests. Most importantly, it simply smells fantastic. If you don't own Missoni Wave and you enjoy this style of fragrance, you owe it to yourself to try it. Prices have already started creeping upward. Not dramatically, but enough to notice compared to the days when bottles could routinely be found around the $30 mark. If reports of discontinuation prove accurate, I don't see that trend reversing anytime soon. Honestly, this is one of those fragrances where, if you know you love this scent profile, buying a backup bottle isn't a bad idea. I'm not sure there's much I can add that hasn't already been covered by countless reviews over the years. I have a very large collection and recently picked up Chanel Allure Homme Sport Superleggera, which I enjoyed immensely. As collectors often do, that sent me down the rabbit hole looking at adjacent fragrances that occupy similar conversations and recommendation lists. Missoni Wave kept appearing over and over again alongside the Chanel Allure Homme Sport DNA and other fresh designer staples. I had danced around buying Versace Pour Homme for quite some time as well, but eventually found Missoni Wave at the right price and finally pulled the trigger. I've known about this fragrance for years. I just never felt particularly compelled to buy it until now. The only thing I regret is not picking it up sooner. Then again, timing is everything. The praise surrounding Missoni Wave — at least from people approaching it realistically and not through hype-colored glasses — is deserved. This fragrance earns its reputation. And if availability eventually dries up, this is one that the fragrance community is genuinely going to miss.

My favorite and best smelling summer fragrence of all time! Smells like Italian summer in a bottle. So fresh and uplifing! 10/10

I've been using it quite a lot since I got it a few weeks ago and I can safely say, the more I use it, the more I fall in love with it. It's just such a pleasant scent/sillage, you really can't go wrong. I've even found a magical layer when I combined it with Artisan Pure, pure banger combo. But yeah, just by itself, I really do love it now. I typically don't go for the sweet/creamy/vanilla leaning scents but this one grew on me like crazy. Got to upgrade my initial 8/10 to 9/10. Buy it before the prices soar!!!

Really good, great depth, great longevity, nice and fresh yummy smell.

Had put off buying this since people said it smells like Versace Pour Homme, and I have that already, but it got so much hype that I was still curious.... Yea, it's a banger. Haven't smelled Chanel AHEE, so I can't compare it to that, but this is like taking VPH and adding creaminess and a touch more sweetness. It really is a great value and a mood lifter as well.

Mix pure Indonesian patchouli oil with body moisturizer-then apply this for more interesting depth and longevity.

Honestly, its good to see a lot of grown man who truly say thier own opinion about this fragrance and not some kids who saw it on tiktok and now rate this high just because they simply own it. You can honestly learn from this comment section. With that being said, i do not understand the people that say this is synthetic, i dont get that at all, in fact this is probably the only clone that i have that isnt overly sweet or synthetic. Im not gonna say anything about the smell or the Preformance of this fragrance because i think the comments did a wonderful job. But im going to say that at this price point you cant really go wrong🤷

Nice freshy, leaning more into the creamy vanilla type of scent (kind of also has a bit of like a sun tan lotion type of scent to it as well, pure good beach vibes). I was hoping it was the Versace Pour Homme variant but no, this is DEFINITELY the Chanel Allure Homme Sport department. With that said, it's nice. I'm happy with this 100ml. I got like two hours of good performance and by hour six it was a strong skin scent. Good for what it is, especially for the price. Definitely won't be offending anyone with this. The hype is deserved, it's very good for what it is, solid 8/10. (Edit: After several days of wearing it, I definitely prefer my tried and true Versace Pour Homme DNA by a mile. But with that said, this is still a good none offensive easy dumb reach type of fresh and creamy Allure homme Sport vanilla type of scent. Like it's CRAZY close to that Chanel for a fraction of the price. Grab it while you can before the prices soar since they just stopped making it this year.)

It's a great scent for the summer! The top notes are very citrusy-anyone with a sensitive nose might find it a bit too strong and synthetic at first, but it's fine for the price. The dry-down is wonderful: fresh and cozy with the floral and vanilla notes. The projection is strong, and when it's windy, you can be sure people will notice it. On my skin, the longevity is crazy—easily about 10-12 hours. When I wear it to bed, my girlfriend can still smell it on me when I wake up, though closer to the skin, of course. For anyone building a budget collection like me, it's totally worth the price. But if you already have a more high-end collection, you might not care for it as much.

Just used a 100ml bottle of this. Its great! Something im sure anybody would like. Exactly the vibe/smell that i think of when someone says "summer scent". Sure, if you arleady got some cheap freshies in your collection im sure you dont need this one too, but if you dont, id suggest this one!

Terrible opening - boost of lemon, but sharp, synthetic, exactly the wc cleaner. Once it settles down, it is quite pleasant, but still common, nothing complex, reminds me generic deodorant like Axe. Longetivity is also weak. On the other hand, the packaging is absolutely top-notch - an excellent atomizer, magnetic cap and a nice bottle.

One of the best freshies considering the price. Performance is moderate. Perfect blind buy material.

Brilliant opening which is like ahs without the aldehydes, smells very bright invigorating fresh with some sweet and tart in the opening, base is weak, disappears very quick for me, woodsy floral slightly creamy
