On my skin it smells like Dior J'adore. Green smell, but has weak projection similar to an eau de toilette. I prefer Miu Miu L’Eau Bleue because it's more fresher.
Fresh, youthful and cheerful, Miu Miu L'eau de Muguet (lily of the valley) has very prominent sparkly citrus and blackcurrant notes combined with rose and white flowers. This perfume is like YSL Babydoll, In Love Again, Victoria's Secret Bombshell Summer, but it has a unique recognisable personality. One might claim it has grapefruit or mandarin notes. I am pleased that the lily of the valley is not very obvious. It is not like Diorissimo. Someone has mentioned peppery notes. I don't smell any pepper here.
That bottle is the essence of it's era: it just looks so wonderfully retro! As for the juice, it’s 100% citrus shampoo 70s clean, but with sweet tartness too. It is not a mall scent at all, but something from the 70s marketed to be worn in spring. It’s almost a yellow tulip. The bitter and green notes with the sweet florals gives it that garden tulip feel. The longevity is amazing here. After many scrubs and two with dish soap and HOT water once the sweet florals started to bug me, I ended up with peppery green with flower petals. Still nice, but wow, wont’ go away! Amazing longevity.
This is basically spring in a bottle... very light, fresh and white flowers. You really smell the lily of the valley at first with the citrus. It's soft and delicate at the dry down. Very lovely perfume. I love the bottle as well.
Love this! It's fresh, clean, delicate and classy. One of the best lily of the valley frags on the market, best for spring time but great as a signature scent.
I’m obsessed with this fragrance. It gives clean, floral, bright and lush. Definitely a late winter early spring scent. Smells expensive and modern for a green floral. Definitely one I’ll always reach for when I want a clean girl vibe
Have just put this on, now. My immediate impression is that it's one of those airy/aquatic/soapy & subtly musky ones, & quite likely a good one, aswell. I reckon I'll enjoy it ... but I've noted the caution about the drydown in certain of the reviews already lodged, & I actually do believe I'll like it all-the-more for that (I like Kouros , which is an renowned & outstanding example of how skanky notes can well merge seamlessly into the soapy idiom ... & I verymuch doubt this one is extreme in that respect as that juggernaut of a fragrance!): I doubt I'll be putting the very negative slant on it that some have ... I presume they're folk who don't generally go for animalistic or skanky notes. I'll edit this later when I've had it on for a while. UPDATE: have just read a few more reviews, though: & few of those mention the woody note; & only a small proportion of those report discerning any skankiness in it. But there's just enough reportage of it to convince me that there probably is something fairly significant & interesting there in that respect. I'm looking-forward to finding-out what I make of it! UPDATE: I think I'm beginning to discern that 'peppery' note that some folk speak of. And it's very seamlessly integrated. Haven't discerned any 'skanky' note, yet, though! UPDATE: it's over a day since I had it on ... & I can't honestly say that those woody notes bordering on (or even outright crossing the line into) skankiness according to some commentors are particularly significant. To me it's a very decent green/fresh/airy/aqueous fragrance with a certain distinction - likely due to that akigalawood content, by by-no-means proponderately of it ... & it's certainly very well integrated, with the woody content, such as there is (& I'm not saying it's tiny or anything!) fitting seamlessly into the rest. There is one review that comes-to-mind I think I can fairly substantialy agree with: it's the one in which an aroma as of 'a cuban cigar box' is spoken-of. But I wouldn't say the woody note is any more prominent than that. But it is very nature-like: there is an element to it that to me is remininscent of that weïrd niche perfume Ditch in that there is an aroma to it as of a ditch ... so yes: 'nature-like' in that the aroma of wild flowers in the wild would tend to be accompanied by that (whereas it would be absent in the case of cultivated flowers) ... but, ofcourse, in Ditch that element is ratcheted-up to 11! So maybe it could be said, afterall, that there's a touch of skankines: that particular kind of it.
I was looking for dewy fresh green flower shop vibes. Yes there is gorgeous fresh white florals and crisp greens. But I hate the nauseating dirty Akigalawood drydown. Akigalawood to me smells of Intense bitter black pepper and poopy patchouli. Its like someone slipped a dirty nappy and some unwashed muddy sports socks into a flower shop. Ewwww!
Very nature like scent, the blackberry is definitely there. Wish it was more exciting though. It’s okay. The dry down is nauseating as hell icl.
somehow reminds me of jo malone's blackberry and bay
Ok, this is probably going to change a lot. It’s been in my mailbox for several hours before I got home. Right now, all I get is loads of pepper! There is a greenness and some florals hiding waaaay back there somewhere. I think this is one I have to revisit. It’s near freezing out, the snow is falling and this bottle is cold. It is probably affecting the scent. As of now, it’s a loud pepper bomb! It’s also is eternal. I’ll keep you all posted!
A lovely white floral, very fresh and slightly soapy. Beautiful bottle. I just wish it had more oomph.
More photorealistic lily-of-the-valley than I expected; it is actually quite nature-like scent. The opening is fresh and dewy, citruses plays its part. Lily-of-the-valley paired with currant and green notes reminds me daisies, a bit herbal touch. During this phase the perfume is more dry, but noble. It is pleasant, light scent, very pure and feminine. Woody base is musky, doesn't drown the flowers. The greenness remains, become more mossy. It is nice, because the fragility isn't too dreamy. Probably one of the best Miu Miu, I suposse - definitely worth to try and enjoy!
This is a fav of mine. When it first goes on it's so fresh but there is a hint of yeast-yness that kind of gives off... a light beer? It smells so good and it mixes with my body chemistry really well.
Opens with very green notes but settles into a very nice light fragrance that is perfect for summer and spring. I like to layer this with any of my vanilla fragrances to add a little something extra. Definitely a fresh out of the shower scent for me
One of my favorite perfumes. Florals typically bore me, but this one is different. My best friend and I both bought travel sized bottles as a college students in 2016 months after it came out. It felt like the perfect middle ground between the moody, dark, nighttime scents we both liked at the time and the more mature, daytime floral perfumes we’d soon wear to the office. That spring, we’d wear it to every class, every party, every walk around campus. To me it smells clean, fresh-out-the-shower, but with a personality. Neutral enough that my friend and I could wear it at the same time and you might think we just did laundry together, or shared the same shampoo, but peppery and interesting enough that it’d be notable that we both smelled that way, it’s something you’d remember. Five years later, in 2020, when I started dating my now-husband, I’d put it on before our dates. It felt right for the occasion, compared to the other perfumes in my collection—Tom Ford’s Black Orchid (too bold and dark) and Jo Malone’s Mimosa & Cardamon (too powdery and old). My husband—who has a rather sensitive nose, and who can’t stand patchouli (my favorite scent)—loves this perfume. In that way, it again feels like a bridge, a scent that perfectly connects two worlds. I have yet to find a better mix of spice and floral. I ran out of that bottle quickly and only just bought another to wear for our wedding. It was just like I remembered it: elegant but youthful, fresh but surprising. The full sized bottle is also extremely cute. One thing did change though! Miu Miu must have reformulated this perfume in the last 10 years, because it lasts significantly longer on my skin than it used to. The perfect perfume for: recent college grads looking forward to sharing an apt together in a big city, brunch with your boyfriend’s parents, loafing around in a park, getting married to the love of your life!
Heck no! Smelled like black pepper to the point where one of my male middle school students asked me why I smelled like pepper.
A fragrance of true, woodland-like, gentle lily of the valley. A subtle, green composition, lightly touched with sweetness—a romantic tribute to the lily of the valley. For an ethereal, fairy lady.
Used to love it but as they recently reappeared at the shops I tested out the whole collection(MiuMiu, Fleur de Lait, Miutine, L'eau bleue) and none of those stuck on me. They fade in 1 hour~ even in mild weather, even on clothes. Miu Miu the brand seems to have a spike in popularity those last years but these perfumes costing 100€ a bottle just isn't worth it.
A pleasant, clean floral but quite sweet. I usually spritz a citrussy one over this to make it less cloying, nice for winter and spring. I was gifted a small bottle but I doubt I'll repurchase.
I love it !!! Smells sooo so good . Like soap but elegant and sophisticated and a tad bit sweet . Goes so well with my body chemistry just hard to explain , it’s just a fragrance you have to experience yourself. Ughhh it’s one of my new favorites. I got it because I saw one my favorite influencer girlie on ig post about it and it’s safe to say it did not disappoint . A clean girl scent not just an clean girl one that got her life together and is a boss!
I had this once upon a time. I usually go for warm scents, gourmand, or citrus. I hate musk, I'm not usually a floral girl. This smells super clean. Nothing syrupy or floral. Kind of like the bones of a mens perfume, but not super cool and watery because of the citrus. it's still very feminine. It smells like a vodka, lime soda. Not the ethanol part of alcohol, but the dry-as-a-bone quality, with the soda water and the lime. Cool. Makes me think of nights out. A very clean establishment with skinny girls ordering sugar-free, dry, vodka-based drinks. A lovely drydown and nice and long lasting. I should buy this again.
I absolutely love this . I brushed this one off for so long . I just finished a travel spray from Fragrancenet and I ordered a full bottle . This is so effortlessly clean and classy and easy to wear . I’ve been loving it on super hot days and I find that it lingers for hours on me . These days I don’t need a nuclear fragrance that lasts days , and this does the job for me . I also consider it a fresh out the shower fragrance .
I don’t even remember when or why I bought this perfume but I’ve had a mini bottle and travel size for ages and am currently trying to go through my samples and minis to declutter. I don’t hate this but there was something I didn’t love and I knew immediately when I saw the notes - lily of the valley. I’m not sure there are any lily perfumes that I love and few that I like. Something about the note is so off to me, the greenness/soapiness is overwhelming and acrid, like cleaning chemicals or gasoline. However, I do think it’s done pretty well here, it settles down and is well balanced by the other notes. Still, it’s kind of a generic floral fragrance to me. Not my vibe and not particularly special as far as floral fragrances go. The bottle is cute though, which is probably how I ended up with it.
I can't remember which exact miu miu I liked but pretty sure it was this one. I remember really liking a dominant black pepper note.
very fresh. very clean girl. a perfume i can bet will never finish for me, because it only fits a specific niche outfit i will only wear when an alter ego calls for it. it’s nice, but is it me? no, wether i put on my miu miu ballet flats or not. it was a fun gift of which i enjoy the though behind by my ex’s mother who gave this to me. like oh what a pleasure to believe you think I’m this type of miu miu girl. such flattery. good bye <3 nice bottle and nice fantasy it sells.
Interesting scent - first few seconds of it has something I do not like, but then it immediately moves to being a lemon - peach - jasmine blend. Its nice, light, the musk gives it depth. The akigalawood is a really distinctive, addictive wood scent. Makes me think of well made cuban cigar boxes. Not a obsessively good smell to me, but its very good. I would not buy this myself currently, but I can see myself buying a decant and having a particular mood for it once in a while.
Got this as a gift from my mum as I am running out of my other main perfume. I have only worn it once yet as I'm waiting to finish the other one, but so far it's a delicious, spicy and gentle floral fragrance. Wouldn't recommend as a blind buy since it's Akigalawood base note is strong, at least for me. Reminds me of Twilly d'Hermès Eau Poivrée - peppery and powerful. For those who enjoy an oud-like projection but soft woody floral close up. Not my usual go to but I am excited to use it.
A surprisingly beautiful aquatic white floral. It doesn't list marine/aquatic notes, but the white floral and green blend makes me feel like sitting in a breeze in the docks in the coastal city where I spend the majority of my year. It's not a tropical beach aquatic, it's more "deep sea" ocean kind of vibe. In any case, it is a rather sophisticated scent that I believe requires a personality to be able to wear it properly. It is not basic "everyone likes this" polite floral. There is a lot of depth to it (just like ocean), and I wouldn't even put it in white florals as a main category. It dries down to a soapy aquatic smell that has a very woozy vibe to it. When I said that it requires someone with a personality to wear it, I didn't necessarily mean a loud or expressive personality. I imagine a silent, deep type, perhaps a writer, philosopher, artist - someone who is deep, good at observing things, and transforms inspiration into tangible beauty. This perfume for me is the epitome of deep but bright silence, incredible sophistication and class. It brings fresh ideas and lots of inspiration to me. Longevity and sillage are decent. It's not a safe buy - you need to grow into this. For me, I finished my two samples, and I'm getting a bottle now, because I'm getting so much joy and new ideas when sitting in the cloud of Miu Miu.
I wanted to try this for a while now and finally bought a mini and unfortunately I’m not too impressed with it. I prefer the bleu miu miu. This one just isn’t anything special for me.
