Roses Elixir

Compared to Roses Musk, this scent smells like a really synthetic rose perfume with a tiny hint of some type of citrus, like something directly from Amazon or a hair store. I was hoping the dry down would be legendary, but it mostly stayed the same, the synthetic smell did reduce by like 1/3. I personally wasn’t impressed with this smell BUT I would somewhat understand if someone said they liked this scent. While typing this I realized it smells somewhat like Khadlaj Hareem Al Sultan Gold for Women Concentrated Perfume Oil, and it is indeed an Amazon product.

Reminds me of this fancy box of trivial stuff I had in my preteen years... just some random girly stuff I cherished way too much to let go albeit they were rather impractical. Miss Dior Cherie's olfactive memory is now way too hazy for me to remember, never owned it though I remember liking it each time I passed it by so cannot comment on that, but this is some vivacious, artificial & plasticky strawberry flavored pink-ish Rose. wish the citrus was a tiny bit toned down...

Layer one: SDJ 71 or Vivamore Caramel Pop...or both! Then Rose Elixir in top. Voila! Miss Cherie. This needs the caramelly popcorn 🍿 note!!! Update: wearing this today with Soap and Glory original scented lotion and wow what a gorgeous scent bubble. Running errands and getting wiffs if the most happiest strawberry and rose!!! This is my favorite rose/strawberry perfume ever.

I miss Miss Dior Chérie so much, so when I heard it smells the same I ran to buy Rose Elixir. when I received it, I spray the perfume on me just before leaving my house, TWO people told I smell nice in an hour!! This is beast mode everyone can smell you and it last ! I still smell my perfume in my house the next day And yes, it is very very very similar to Miss Dior Cherie ! Specially when the perfume set so after a good 1.30-2h .. This perfume give the feeling that everything is pink, and I have the feeling to be a princess, that I smell precious and expensive I am so happy cause I was so sad about the discontinuation of MDC but now I am the happiest person on earth I finally got my signature scent back

Fruity chouli, synthetic smelling strawberry and flowers. Smells like a hair product or body wash. I'm shocked at the price tag. This does not smell like an expensive fragrance. I like the note list but the way it materializes is generic and bland. It's too sweet and the recyclable aluminum bottle is noble, but makes it feel cheap.

After the initial blast of high-pitched fruitiness, this settles and develops beautifully. Strawberry, rose, vanilla, musk and amber. It just smells good. And it lasts several hours on skin and days on clothes.

I like this way more than I thought I would! Smells like walking past a Lush store in the best way!!

This perfume is right up my alley. Girly, uplifting, bright and great performance I agree with the comments saying it smells like Soap and Glory products, this is also how I remember their body butter smelling. Would highly recommend

I actually didn't expect to like the notes as much as i did. it's actuallz turned into one of my signature scents. it's very subtle and you may well use it for everyday-wear, but it also has a bit of an edge. i enjoy it so so much and reach for it on days i'd like to feel a bit ..different, eccentric even.

Personal: 5/10 – I don't enjoy it. Sweet and super synthetic. Mass appeal: 7/10 - Fruity rose a sugar is a crowd pleaser, but this is too synthetic smelling for most. Performance: 8/10 – Typical Montale: strong, loud, and long-lasting. Value: 6/10 – Montale pricing is fair, but what you get in this bottle is mediocre. Uniqueness: 5/10 – It’s basically a sugary rose/strawberry-patchouli mashup. You’ve smelled this DNA before. SCORE: 62/100 Full bottle buy? NO, I dislike rose and synthetic syrupy bombs, and this is both. Blind buy? NO, sweet rose bombs are too polarizing. Recommend? NO, it's entirely uninteresting hyper-sweet synthetic rose. Bleh. Date night? YES, but it's super generic. Best used in casual settings. Office safe? NO, it’s too loud and syrupy to sit through all day. Pros: Loud, playful, sugary rose. Affordable pricing. Very youthful. Cons: Syrupy, synthetic, and a bit TOO youthful. Redundant as DNA is generic. Montale is great at making loud, boomy, sugary fragrances. It's very generic and uninteresting though. You know what this smells like as you've smelled it, well, MULTIPLE times before. I can't get past how synthetic it is, though. As far as rose, that's not what's off-putting to me here, it's really the extremely syrupy and synthetic base that TRIES to be toned down by the florals, but is so screechy that I barely even pick up the rose over the SUGAR. I am so bummed with this one. I bought a sample because I have been searching to fit my Miss Dior Cherie void for years now and a lot of people said it was similar to that as well as the soap and glory scent, which I love as well. In theory I love this perfume and it does smell great however when I tested it on my arm, it got this horrible soapy kind of aroma that smelled to me exactly like paper towel. It has this odd powdery soapy aroma that literally smells exactly like a wet thick bounty or brawny paper towel. So distracting that I cannot wear it. Really sad because if that smell didn’t come through this would easily be a top 5 perfume for me. The search continues!

This perfume is a bit odd in a beautiful way. It smells almost like a slightly metallic strawberry shampoo. Could be overwhelming if over sprayed

I don’t smell the strawberry in this. Although it’s a beautiful rose, uplifting, musky scent it smells like a typical “perfume”. Very ordinary and nothing special. It’s a pretty scent sure, but I think montale offers more complex and interesting scents than this basic one

Flirty, juicy, and lasts forever! Harsh opening but give it 20 mins & it melts into a sexy citrusy rose with tangerine vibes. Think fruity, feminine, and just a little dangerous. Compliment magnet!

I FOUND IT. IT'S DONE. I LOVE the OG Soap and Glory scent and THIS is it. I've been searching but nothing comes close. Longevity on clothes: Weeks. Literal weeks. Possibly for ever. Stays true to the scent the whole time. Sillage moderate, arms length. (For me that's fine because this is literally a scent for me... I love it so much and it makes me so happy) Rose, strawberry, bergamot/earl grey tea. Linear scent. Familiar. Loveable. Safe blind buy if you are looking for the above. Aluminium bottle was definitely jarring but that means nothing practically speaking. Also: this is definitely called Rose Elixir. Not Roses (plural) Elixir.

I love this perfume! It’s light, feminine and sophisticated. I could imagine a stylish and put together girl wearing this with a House of CB sundress and a cute bag. To me this isn’t sexy or flashy but is flirty. It’s not super mature or youthful, it’s somewhere in between. I think of light pink roses on cream satin sheets. I would wear this during the day in the city or at night. It’s not really a grocery shopping or doing errands kind of scent for me. I think it’s a safe blind buy if you enjoy the notes.

The closest to miss dior cherie 2005 ive smelled. Fresh and gorgeous like a spring day🥰 Its just magical and the first time since the 2005 miss dior cherie i got the same feeling it gave me. (even if nothing will ever beat MDC)

The difference between this and Dior/Chanel is the patchouli. Whatever/however they did the patchouli was magical. It's a note, by itself, I dislike very much. There's dirty patch and the kind that Dior/Chanel use and it's just so much more crisp and blends itself to the fruity floral combination so much better. This patchouli seems out of place. They took dirty hippy patch and added it to this fruity/floral combo and it just clashes a bit while in MDC and CM is created a magical harmony and depth to a rather basic perfume. It's almost slightly pungent and very distinct here, it creates some harsh edges to the composition that when smelled directly, doesn't have that same likability and pleasant smell that MD or MDC gave me. For that, I have to pass. The silage is okay and it's harder to detect that way, but still, it's rather unpleasant to me.

I wore this once around a very famous 80's-90's s-e-x god Icon. He said wow you smell so good, you smell like s-e-x... so when the icon of that genre compliments this, you know it's a keeper.

Light, girly and inoffensive. To my nose the opening is not sharp. The dry down is gorgeous!! Almost identical to soap and glory original line which I love. Not sweet at all. Also kinda smells like dolls head 💗💗💗

December in Los Angeles. Sunny day, +27C. Feels like spring :) I wear Roses Elixir today and it emphasizes this spring mood- bright, light, sweet. Very bright perfume.

dark feminine fragrance worth a try

I still have my bottle of 2010 Miss Dior Cherie and I would say this is 90% similar. It has that patchouli strawberry combo down perfectly. It is missing the caramel popcorn gourmand note as others have said but honestly even in the original cherie that note to me got lost in the sauce and wasn't THAT distinguishable. Like it is there but barely. I think if you layer this with a gourmand vanilla perfume it would be even better and may have more of a Miss Dior Cherie edge. I tried it layered with Mancera Amore Caffe and it is sooo good! This also smells very similar to the Soap and Glory original scent

This is a very girly, playful fragrance. Sometimes I find floral fragrances overpowered by an alcoholic/chemical scent but not this one. As everyone says, wait for the dry down.

Would have been good if it weren't so synthetic and metal'y smelling. The robot 🤖 review is so accurate. Smells like something that just shouldn't be on skin.

I blind bought this because of the Dior Miss Cherie comparisons. I’m so glad I did. At first it smells nothing like it as it’s sharp and a bit strong but it settles into a beautiful scent which does resemble my beloved Miss Cherie. Nothing will ever be like Dior but this is the closest I’ve found to the 2011 version. It lasts a really long time and I get asked what I’m wearing a lot.

The opening to this is very harsh and instilled fear in me that I'd made a terrible blind buy purchase, but don't fret! That synthetic harshness disappears after about 10 minutes and blooms into a beautiful, fruity-tinged floral. I strangely get much more tangerine than I do strawberries. It feels much more citrus-oriented, but thankfully lasts longer than most citrus fragrances! A real gem with great longevity and performance. A must-try if you enjoy fruity rose scents like I do.

I don't think this smells like Miss Dior Chérie which I love. This is way too perfumey!

This little gem is pure magic on my skin. Terrible when first applied, overwhelming, sharp, intrusive, chaotic. Not pleasant at all! But after 15-20 minutes something magical happens. It turns into something completely different. It's soft, sweet, well composed, sophisticated, very feminine. The strawberries and roses takes center stage. There's vanilla perfectly lingering in the back. It keeps changing through the day, where different notes comes to the forefront, after a while other note gets more prominent. It's like music, a symphony. It's strong and has great sillage, but not sharp and it lasts forever. This perfume is something different from anything I've smelled before. It seems to work perfectly with my chemistry, and people around me loves it. I'm sure this isn't for everyone, and a tester might be a good idea before buying a full bottle.

Almost identical with Miss Dior Cherie 2005 ♥️ but lasts longer.
