Starry Nights

I have decided I don’t get along with this brand. I had several samples and have not enjoyed any so far. This one has a rosy floral scent with a strong metallic undertone that makes the fragrance very sharp and synthetic on my skin that comes off very BO after awhile. I had it on for about 45min and had to wash it off. I’m just glad I only got the sample.

Just... Perfect for me...

I promise my nose isn't broken, but this reminds me of Aventus, or even Hacivat. This is sweeter and more unisex but the citruses are in that style and the oakmoss is surpisingly strong. Thankfully I'm not getting much patchouli, I don't think it would have worked here. Apple is nicely blended with the citruses. The musk and powdery notes make it a great, well balanced fragrance. Strong performance. Highly recommend.

I’ve got a spray of this on my arm. It’s a small spray from a decant too. On the first spray, I got a bright sparkly fresh floral pink rose scent. It almost has a lychee like smell to it. In the air it’s also predominantly a bright pink candied rose. After awhile, up close on skin, the amber and powdery notes along with the musks start to come out. The combination is reminding me of Mancera instant crush and its super strong woody ambery ambroxan smell. After 2 hours, it’s super close to the instant crush smell up close and in the air. It’s definitely within the Mancera and montale family. Projection is on the better side and longevity is good too but that’s expected from Montale. It’s kinda leaning femme but it also has some masculine elements so I’d say it’s pretty unisex. Overall, it’s a nice perfume. I’m a fan of green scents but if you like floral ambroxan scents, then you can check this out.

I use Montale Sensual Instinct all year round, but have been looking for a Montale perfume with apple in it. I am considering this one, but also see now that they have launched Intens Starry Night. Can anyone give me a recommendation between these 2, they are identical except that the notes are stronger in the new version? . I see a comment saying this reminds him/her of PDM Layton, is that correct?

Do be wary the dry down puts forward the rose note and it does smell synthetic Its not as pleasant as the opening the fruits are doing a lot of lifting there

This scent is amazing, highly recommend and imo is very underrated. People hype all the free bottles from company’s sending junk for way more $$$… this can mop the floor with all those. Very interesting smell, quite sexy and intriguing with the floral and powder notes. Don’t let that deter men from this frag as it’s def worth a pick up or at least a sample.

When I smell this scent, I feel in paradises secret part.. It doesn't resemble any scent I have smelled before. Powdery floral notes are so attractive. Definitely u can used four season, but I choice spring and summer. Because this scent will never tire your nose.

This fragrance is PURELY for a dressed up date night or dressed up playa vibes, think "VIP invite only" NOT the club or lounge. It's too floral and sweet to be appropriate for the gym, work, suit and tie events or for running errands. It's good enough for all seasons, just go 1 spray in the high heat, personally when it's 90+ I just forgo it all together. Across the board it's average in all aspects of longevity, silage and projection and It's pretty gender neutral. I've never encountered to many men brave enough to wear something sweet and floral and most average people have never heard of Montale.

More like major headache nights. But couldn’t stop sniffing it. This could’ve been generational if it didn’t smell so synethic

Musky rose with a patchouli background, the patchouli is quite strong, I think it's an okay fragrance, unissex. There is a mild powdery touch to it. Not very complex at all. There is a little bit that reminds me of rose vanilla. I am not getting a full bottle, but some people might like it.

This needs further development. The notes are very basic and doesn't smell as interesting as the name suggests

Not the most manliest thing on earth but that’s what makes it a PLAYER scent 😏 gives Mancera roses vanille and that’s a beautiful scent that I brought for wifey if you know how that smells it’d be a clearer picture.. *ahem* Not as sweet as Roses Vanille this has more of the citrus apple zing and a more powdery rose than vanilla syrupy smell. VERY STRONG easy on the sprays I’m a spray abuser and this killed me testing that out This shines at night ironic because of the name and in actuality good for all seasons to me for nights out on the town or nights in 😏

Starry Nights epitomises everything wrong with Montale as a brand: wholly derivative of someone else’s work, cheap and crude in its smell and worst of all, it’s not even as good as what it’s copying. Which is quite clearly, Boss Bottled - there’s no way around it. It’s got the exact same fresh musky apple accord, which I quite like because I like Boss Bottled, except here it seems flatter and more soapy, with a powdery finish. Boss Bottled already smells cheap, but that’s part of its charm, this smells even cheaper and has no charm. I can’t really say much else about it. Disappointing.

Personal: 6/10 – It's nice, but it's not something I could wear at all. Mass appeal: 7.5/10 – Sweet fruity florals with musk are safe and likable. Performance: 8/10 - Very solid, but not where most Montale frags are. Value: 6/10 - Fair pricing, but still niche-lite prices for something kinda synthetic. Uniqueness: 5.5/10 – Fruity-floral musk bombs aren’t unique, and this doesn’t break new ground. SCORE: 66/100 Full bottle buy? NO, I’d rather wear other fruity citrus musks. Blind buy? YES, if you want a safe, powerful citrus floral musk. Recommend? YES, it’s a solid compliment-puller if you like citrusy musk bombs. Date night? YES, it’s playful, fruity, and strong enough to be noticed. Office safe? NO, too loud, a common theme with Montale fragrances. Pros: Loud, long-lasting, fruity-musky citrus fragrance with great performance. Cons: Synthetic, generic, syrupy. Not niche-quality blending. Starry Nights is Montale’s take on a fruity-floral-musk that’s more polished than their usual rose-syrup bombs, but still is distinctly Montale-like with its sweetness and synthetic nature. It's not bad at all, but it's not something I find particularly wearable. To me, it smells kind of chemical-ey and cleaner-ish. It's for someone, but not me. I want to like it, as citrusy musks are something I usually love (Creed SMW) but this execution just isn't it. A fruity floral musk on Montale steroids. Nothing unique, but very recognizable. This is absolutely PDM Layton

I find this leans quite masculine, like a basic musk and citrus forward fragrance. Good longevity and projection though, at around 8 hours with moderate sillage.

I don't smell any of the top notes its just like powdery rose 7.5/10.

Not even sure what I should say about this perfume. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it and I’m not sure I want to ever smell anything like this ever again. I actually had to run to the bathroom and scrub this fragrance from my wrists and inner forearms. To my nose, Starry Nights wears as a synthetic medley of VERY STRONG florals with musk. There’s not much more to say about the fragrance. I’ve not had this happen with more than a handful of fragrances in the past. However, I felt if I didn’t wash Starry Nights from my skin, I risked becoming ill. The fragrance is that overbearing for me. It’s a strong pass undoubtedly.

İnternetten araştırarak dekantını satın aldım. Kokusu kirke-erba pura benzettim. Bu tarz sert ve yapışkan kokular burnumu inanılmaz rahatsız ediyor. Yorumlarda dunhill desire ve jaguar classic benzeri oldugu yazıyordu fakat bu 2 kokuyla alakası bile yok. Sonuç olarak şişeyi çöpe attım. kör alış tavsiye etmiyorum kesinlikle genel beğeniye açık görmedim.

Very rosy scent. Originally bought as a special occasion winter fragrance, and has now transitioned to my spring/summer fragrance. Very versatile fragrance, even my gf loves it as it does lean feminine but anybody can rock it!

Amazing fragrance! It's truly my favorite from Montale. This is my go-to scent for nighttime (events, dinners etc.) and it lasts for hours on my skin. It's a very unique scent with strong projection. For me, its ultra feminine; even though is marketed as unisex. Purchased as a sample and had to buy the full size. 10/10

Sparkling rose, noble and clear Champagne bubbles, so wonderful Musk flows with apple on warm wood, seductively free My rating 8/10

First time I sprayed it, I was getting Alfred Dunhill Desire OG vibes, also brought back memories of xerous rouge briefly and then reminded me of Diesel Masculine OG. It's the kind of juice I love. Deffo unisex, it's sweet but dark at the same time. It's my first Montale and I'm loving it. I'm one of those guys that don't care about cold weather, warm weather frags, I be wearing this all year round.

I recently had very good friend ask me,”wtf are you wearing, what is that!”. I laughed and told him, “i cant tell you, Im gate keeping this one” lol (usually i tell them what i’m wearing) The guys below saying this smells, “feminine” are totally wrong. This is perfectly unisex, smells so unique, nothing else like it.

A slightly fruity aspect appears for a few minutes in the beginning and then turns into a rose powder bomb that stays linear through the whole evolution of the fragrance. It’s not bad by any means but it’s not for me.

Another powdery rose fragrance. Not much to say here. This has been done a million times and there's not much to separate it from others in the same family.

За ці гроші - просто топ. Шлейф і стійкість просто нереальні. Сам аромат доволі різкий, він сміливо заявляє про себе і відчувається всім оточуючим. Відкривається цитрусовими, в кінці переходить в не менш різку пудру. Точно не для тих, хто не хоче виділятися, любить щось більш спокійне, ненав'язливе. Впринципі, використовувати можна круглий рік, єдине, в літній жаркий день не раджу - задушить всіх навколо.
