One of my guilty pleasure scents. Yeah, it’s basic…but, I really enjoy it for what it is. I find myself reaching for this quite often and I’m not entirely sure why, nostalgia maybe? It’s definitely out of place on my shelf of high end bottles but I don’t care and it will always have a spot in my collection. It’s not a replacement for Percival but definitely is adjacent with just lower quality materials.

I love this fragrance but legend spirit is better poor longevity and sillage but i dont care so good

I read alot of mixed reviews so this is my take... this is a fragrance that can be worn int the winter, but its prefered to be worn in hot or humid weather for a better performance on my skin, in cool temp it seems to only radiated to people next to me and in heat its all over the room i was in. it starts of subtle and barley noticeable to my nose sometimes, then i wait 5-10 mins and it starts to show what it can do, i love applying it before i arrive to any destination a little sooner before i arrive so when i pop out my whip its performing at mid level and longevity is well about 3-6 hrs 8 on a good day but overall i love this and Legend blue as a basic but stand out daily.

bought this online thinking about the edp version (wrong check out) and also because i just smell kaaf. sadly this is the worst among those three. this has the harsh opening just like legend edp (which kaaf barely has) and has the worst longevity. imo, kaaf gives smoother experience (contrary what most people said) because its muskiness, even though i get that ambroxan might gives a hint of "in your face" feeling, legend also gives that on its way. this one also feels more juicier but doesnt give better projection than kaaf. for the dry down, edp do better for me. leathery woody florals, that one just do it better. mature and more elegant. or maybe im just old.

Gave this a test and it does not smell like the notes? Claims to be fruity but all I get is lavender, vaguely citrus and boring sandalwood in the base. It’s also very synthetic. Smells a lot like Bleu de Chanel to me, but without the marine notes of that fragrance. I don’t hate it but it’s very safe

This is what I wear when I don't want to be obvious to anyone. It's that quiet... clean, fresh, a little fruity but not in a way you can really name. Honestly the scent is hard to describe. Next to other stuff in my collection I could barely pick it up. It's ok. Doesn't project much or last that long, but it nails the low-key clean thing. Personal subjective score: 6.5/10

Pleasant and unexpected surprise. Basic fragrance that sets foot a bit in niche way. As a immediate start might be too uninteresting typical fougere, it shifts within half an hour to a bit sugary-juicy cherry like nectar that is toned down in sweetness by metallic undertone (detectable as nice blend of lavender combined with pineapple and red apple) that adds hint of coloured magazine pulled from a freshly torn plastic cover (provided as a geranial scratchiness). Interesting, bit modern and cool. You have to applicate generously and dont be scared. Price for 100 ml as low as 25 Euro is adequate.

I love it, and for me its not synthetic or headache indusing at all. But its a shame it doesnt last longer.

I don’t enjoy the scent, but it’s not a bad fragrance, if I wore it, I’d wear it in the evening or night, and in the colder seasons, it still gives me a headache sometimes and feels synthetic or metallic I can’t describe it… also too sweet and complex for a hot summer day…

If you want to like Montblanc Legend but just can't manage to, then consider CK Eternity. It fits in the same niche people are putting this one into (call it "old American man in 2026" or "young man's work/play scent in 1990"). It pushes a lot of the buttons this one is trying to push, and is a much better scent, better performer. I'm really quite surprised it isn't on the "this perfume reminds me of" list, here.

Smarties wafer candies have a certain texture, a mouthfeel. I'm talking about the chalky American Smarties tablet candy, not the chocolate English ones. In England this kind of candy is Fizzers, in Canada it's Rockets. All pretty much the same thing: A pastel colored fruit flavored chalky tablet that chews into a fruit flavored powder. I'm not saying it's sweet, I'm not saying it's sugary, but the smell of Legend has the same kind of texture you get when chewing Smarties. It's powdery but it's wet and fruit/fougère flavored powder. It's not a powdery smell, it's a fizzy/chalky texture more than what we traditionally think of as "powdery" in fragrance. It's like the mouthfeel of chewed up Smarties, in a fragrance. And the flavors/scents are just as artificial. You know what that candy does to orange, grape, raspberry etc. fruit flavors? That's what Montblanc Legend does to fougère.

I wanted to love this with all my heart but I just cannot. The notes go crazy. The reviews put it in God-tier cheapies. But it just smells like really aggressive Axe body spray. It's just...cheap teenage boy mall cologne. This pains me to say, as a certified Montblanc lover, but I really do not like this. Leave this DNA in the dustbin of history. Or the dustbin of the mall food court where all the Abercrombie high school kids hang out in 2002. It smells like accidentally breathing in aerosolized air freshener while standing in a middle school locker room. Get me out of here.

i fell inlove in this scent in my college days, compliment getter and you always smell fresh and clean. this is my first perfume gifted from my sister. scent 8/10 projection 7/10 sillage 6.5/10 overall - 7.5 this is a safe blind buy if your in your early 20s. smell manly and fresh

I was obsessed with Percival. This really hit the spot! Amazing! 10/10

Its your basic fruity fresh citrus scent. Really nice though.

no. this is the scent of a locker room. basic aftershave. rubbing alcohol, synthetic, nauseatingly basic

Easy reach scent similar to A&F fierce. Not as cloying and strong as the OG Fierce or as weak as the reformulated fierce.

For some reason Target sells this one. Tested it. Yo this stuff smells foul.

Not as sweet as the notes would have you believe but oh my goodness is it fresh. Lavender and the sandalwood come out the most to me. Smells like downy in the best way possible and stands above countless other freshies out there. The knock is that this thing is gone in an hour which is a shame. It'd be 10/10 if not for that longevity. Still gets an 8/10 for me

First impression from spraying a tester on paper: undefinable fresh lightness, like Versace pour Homme, but different. Sweet but not sirupy-sweet. Not only citrus but also other fruit. Smells quite synthetic (everything smells synthetic after Hermes Eau d' Orange Verte).

Sexy, masculine, not so fruity sweet, nice textured fragrance. I think this is good for mature looking man.

It's clean, pleasant, but what bugs me is that it doesn't last long. Only a couple of hours and the scent's gone! One of my earliest perfumes I own, so there's the nostalgic part to it. Nowadays I no longer wear it much, except for when I needed to go out the door for very short errands.

Initial smell is so good , like a fresh and soothing but won't stay on that for long , I used only in my work place

First bout this in 2014 after being introduced to it from a trip to vegas where a holiday pal called it “legendary” went on to buy a couple of bottles of it and it became my every day signature scent where I got some positive compliments from. An easy pleasing mass appealing fragrance. I’m not sure what the recent bottles are like but this has sentimental/nostalgia value for me and a fragrance that is still very current in the scent market 9/10

Clean office scent. Linear profile. Not for someone who are looking for something different or unique fragrance

Great beginner fragrance. Smells good, performance is a little wack though. It smells like a barbershop, and is a mass appealer, I got a good amount of compliments when wearing it. The silage is mediocre and longevity is as well. Have to reapply often. 75/100 Scent 50/100 Performance
