Why is the perfumer's picture that of a young Joe Biden?

@GardeniaLover: It's HIPPY Fizz. Not Hippie. ;) Just saying. I'm so sad about it being discontinued. It's such a lovely uplifting, happy scent. Why do they always discontinue the really good ones? They could have done away with the 'I love love' instead, since it smells pretty much just like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue.

I gave it a review in 2015. Meanwhile, it's been discontinued and both me and my daughter managed to consume the last drop of it. I've tried to find another bottle but it really disappeared from the market. Great loss!!!! Still, today I tried for the first time Mademoiselle Rochas edt (de toilette!! ) and I was so puzzled because I felt I knew it, that it was something from my past, but couldn't quite put the finger on it. And then my daughter came and sniffed and exclamed "Mum! It smells like that Moschino perfume we both loved so much!!" And yes, it does. It's not the same, but it satisfies my longing for Hippy Fizz.

Too bad it's been discontinued - this has been my teenage love as a perfume. I fell in love with it on a sample and then I purchased a couple of full bottles. The only flaw is the poor longevity (as any other Moschino Cheap & Chic fragrances, to be fair), but on the other hand it's really lovely, it's everything but boring, as it is quite complex for its segment. Not a boring citrusy at all, but rather playful and youthful as the people it was marketed towards. It was definitely worth the price, as it was a quite inexpensive perfume.

When I first sampled this yesterday I really really loved it, it started out lemony and fresh and then dried down very quickly to a soft rose violet scent with a hint of lemon and musk - however, today I've put it on again and the lemon has now started smelling very cleaning product like to me, I'm not sure if this is just me though because most lemon scents tend to smell a bit cleaning product like to me but I'm unsure if that's just because alot of cleaning products smell like lemon and I'm just associating it with them because of that and not because the particular lemon in this scent is artificial, either way its put me off, I think lemon is a hard fragrance to pull off anyway, nomatter how natural it smells itll always remind most of washing up liquid or kitchen spray. It also didnt develop to the violetty rose stage today like it did yesterday which was my favourite stage of this perfume for me, yesterday it actually smelt so pretty on the drydown like a makeup scent only a little more citrusy than the norm but today I'm getting none of that whatsoever such ashame. I've also got a banging headache today after applying it and the lemon tends to go to the back of my throat and makes my throat feel clammy

I found a new bottle of this for $11 and it ended up being a successful blind buy. Side note: I’m an adventurous blind buyer- too adventurous as a matter of fact, so I’ve been limiting myself to only blind buying very inexpensive fragrances or partial bottles when I can find them. Anyway, for 11 bucks, I certainly wouldn’t ask for my money back! Hippy Fizz is fresh and light, as you’d expect from the bottle and the notes listed. To me it’s mainly a light citrus violet scent and it’s fairly linear. Violet can be a problem note for me, as my skin tends to amp it to an overpowering degree. This violet isn’t harsh or powdery, it’s well behaved and refreshing, paired with the lemony opening. I’m not sure what’s supposed to be “hippy” about it, but it does smell *happy*. It’s very cheerful and summery. I haven’t smelled any other Moschino fragrances other than I Love Love, which to my nose was basically identical to D&G Light Blue. However, I’m impressed with Hippy Fizz’s longevity (though it does sit very close to the skin) and overall quality. This doesn’t smell cheap, and it’s a lot less ....clinical I guess is the word I’m looking for, than Light Blue, which can be a little bit sterile for my liking. Hippy Fizz would appeal to fans of LB and other freshies though, I think. I enjoyed it enough to check out other Moschino frags in the future, and the price is definitely right!

Hippie? seems a very citrusy, fruity floral, no patchouli for a hippie name, maybe lemonade joy? Maybe it is the liveliness of hippie lifestyle but I doest ring hippie to me with those notes.

It's an exciting fresh scent. Bubbly and happy. Energizing, yes! As some have described it. It feels like going on an adventure xD It also kind of reminds me of some masculine scents in a way... Hippy Fizz was one of my favorite perfumes of all times. I think one of the reason for that could be because I've had emotional association with positive memories since I bought it at an airport on one of my holidays. At that time I was reaaaally addicted to it. Also bought another bottle years after I finished the first one when I got the chance to.

The bottle: Love the bottle! It's colorful and unique would look great in anybody's collection. Inside the bottle: When sprayed you get this strong lemon musk and raspberry scent. When dried all the other notes appear but the noticable ones are the greens,ceder and rose. The star of this perfume is the lemon, raspberry and ceder. It's gives off a very tart, fresh and youthful scent. Longevity is okay I would say just couple hours. Overall: This scent is great for a hot day for someone who enjoys fresh, dry and fruity scents. I can see why people think it's smells like floor cleaner, but that is probably because of the strong lemon scent and the ceder. I feel like the raspberry gives it a other dimension to it. If your a fan of Light Blue Dolce & Gabbana then you will probably end up liking this one too I find it the younger version of light blue.

Nice fruity scent for warm season, joyful, easy going and funny. I like top notes very much, but after a while, I can barely smell it.

A perfect summer scent! It's fizzy lemonade - (think R Whites from the 70s) sweet, slightly fake but for that reason alone, it's so evocative and fun. There's white floral to soften and round and that's about it. It's simple, it's citrus and it's summery. Absolutely nothing to dislike here but nothing that rocks my world either. It is exactly what it says on the box and really rather fun for it - enjoy!

It is what it claims, fresh citrusy with floral tones.And yes it is a bit green too, nicely. After a while, citrus notes are replaced by fresh floral. I like it, but not love, but would not mind to own one, it is quite inexpensive. Likable and not complicate scent with moderate performance. Woody notes adds complexity, do not be fooled by chearful yelow bottle, which like very much.. My 15 years old niece put it on a whish list and I will gladly buy it for her. Very good value for the price.

My secretary, a fellow perfumista, received this as a birthday gift from her sister. She thought it would be a light spring-summer fragrance; but actually this stuff is very strong. It's a citrus-fruity-floral concoction with loads of musk; my friend only wore it to work once and it gave us both headache. Definitely not office-friendly! Admittedly, the bottle is fun to look at, but the juice itself is a mess.

i just bought it,sprayed 2 times and it gave me an instant headache. before I've tried it on my scarf,was not bad.. so I gave it a chance.. but its no no for me. fortunately my colleague bought it from me. she liked this.

Fizzy and cold lemonade on a hot summers day!!! Lemonade with only a dash of sugar... just right! So bright, cheerful and care free! So young, so wild... You can imagine her/him skipping over the daisies and wild flowers with a smile on her face thinking 'What exactly is the difference between a weed and a flower anyway?' The over all effect is rather soothing and cooling and is accompanied by a feeling of 'letting your hair down'... and 'being your true self no matter what'. Perfect for those loose summer clothes that catch the gentle breeze! Highly recommended for those who struggle to wear a fragrance when the weather is warm. The girl or boy who wears this does not care about the opinions of others for they are the new age hippies! The very source of inspiration for 'Hippy Fizz'

I got no musk raspberry or lotus or cedar or violet. Sorry as much as I love the Moschino line- this one is extremely boring and smells of Lemon scented cleaning products- nothing more. It is a citrus done bad . I.e. a citrus that ends up smelling exactly like kitchen/bathroom cleaning products. I wouldn't buy it. There are so many more well blended beautiful exotic citruses out there on the market that have a sexy edge. This one doesn't. Bottle-7.5/10 Scent-3.5/10 Lasting power-3/10 Projection-4/10

This is so lovely. Just so fresh! I Love Love is one of my all time faves, and while the initial blast of this one delivers a heavy dose of lemony floral goodness,it very quickly develops a heavy note of fresh cedar. Before expanding my scent-ual horizons, I would have immediately balked at this, thinking it to masculine. But thanks to my love for some heavy cedar/moss hitters ( Salvador Dali ItIsDream and Tous H2O) I think this keeps the lemon from being to overpowering or cloying. Many other reviewers have stated it smells bitter or to chemically, I think that is just the cedar coming through. I find it pleasantly dry(??) and fresh. The drydown is just the faintest whiff of lemony floral. Yum!

I'm not a fan of citrus perfumes but this one is quite nice! Fresh and delicious! And the bottle is LOVELY just like other frags from cheap and chic collection ^^

I've just bought this as wanted a summery fragrance!! I love it! I smell lemony, raspberry warmth!! It's not overpowering, just right!! Lovely!!

I always want to call this one Happy Fizz, because I think it describes it perfectly. It's bright and cheerful and uplifting, brings to mind pleasantly sunny spring days and upbeat moods.

Hmm somehow I got logged out while reviewing...ok this is my review: On me this opens with tart lemon and bitter green---first spritz smells like bathroom cleaner or generic air freshener. It warms on the skin and you get a bit of a nice citrus-woods-freshness, a hint of musk but sadly no violet or osmanthus to be had. It lasts about 3 hours with 6 sprays. The bottle is cute, but not worth keeping for the bottle alone. There are many better Moschinos, this one has to go.

I could never find a fresh-fruity-flowery perfume to match this one. I use it for years now and it's an authentic joy EVERY time I spray it. It makes me smile every time :-) Very good silage and longevity.

Too much hamster cage cedar, otherwise a nice semi sweet citrus/shampoo scent.

People write here, that sillage is weak. Well, I use only tester, but on my skin was sillage quite good. It is good fragrance for summer. I smell mostly lemons, then lotus and little bit of something sweet, maybe raspberry. But I must wait to next summer, when I buy it.

This was the fragrance that paved the way for my love of fresh feeling scents. To me this is as fresh and youthful as I could pull off. It's got that clean and crisp element that I love in my fragrances with a little warming up by the florals. It's one of my go-to summer fragrances and it reminds me of a fizzy lemonade garnished with flower petals on a hot summer's day. It's bold enough and makes me happy but softer at times to give comforting vibes.

Very nice, and definitely every day wearable. To me this one isn't as aggressively citrusey as I Love Love...there's an early burst of lemon in the opening but pretty soon it dries down into a surprisingly mellow and sweet blend of flowers - magnolia, rose, and violet how romantic - with a little hint of berry on top. I like this but the staying power also isn't as good as I Love Love. It fades away pretty quickly, but still well done. I don't smell the cedar or musk at all - thank goodness! B+

Treated myself to a blind buy and the fragrance did not disappoint: bright, lemony, fresh. Unfortunately, it makes my nose itch terribly, so I'm sending it away to another perfume lover.
