Cheap & Chic Light Clouds

Also here because of Thomas (90 days). Ugh. I get it. My family has ultra sensitive noses, but this is a pretty low-key perfume and if she only put two drops on, he should be able to deal with that without running out on the balcony and crying like a baby man. Dealbreaker!! (ETA so glad that other ppl were incensed by this BS!!) He just said “if this place isn’t SAFE for me” WTF !!! Again I have the “super smeller” genes on my mom’s side and I have to be careful but what a total jerk the way he went about it.

Anyone else here checking this out because of that Thomas dude's (90 day fiancé) way overdramatic reaction to this perfume, acting like he was going to die, then he literally super glued her mini perfume dabber shut? My heart broke for her. You do not mess with a girl's perfume. The way he was acting was insane 😭 you could see how much she loved this! Poor Paula, you're a gem. And you can do SO MUCH BETTER!

I've just rediscovered this fragrance in my cabinet. It was one of my first couple of perfumes I've bought for myself in my early teenage years, as it was affordable and rather unique (the bottle shape surely helped too). However, I still have a third of the bottle full. I was frugal with it back then and now I just don't find that it suits my style anymore. It does have an endearing vibe to it, but today, just like around 15 years ago, it smells like an artificial banana you could find in scented markers or perhaps the Magic Food Banana Milk scent. I can't put my finger on what combined notes mix to create this illusionary scent, but I encounter it both on clothes and on skin. It does smell like clouds... if you still imagine them as cotton candy.

This is an all timer. The review below that this is a cousin of L’eau d’Issey is spot on!! So sad it’s been discontinued, i am rationing mine. There’s an unusual opening note that is so oddly addicting to me, almost like varnish or rubber cement. It doesn’t detract from the lightness of the fragrance though. Unique and captivating!

HEAVY on the ozonic and musky notes, smells like if you were strapped to an airplane wing and wrung around in the clouds (in a good way). The airbending cousin of the waterbending L’eau d’Issey

Minha assinatura há 10 anos, mesmo tendo uma pequena coleção, ele continua trabalhando em tudo. Pra mim, tem cheiro de artista!? É como se eu pintasse com tinta a óleo um céu pra divagar. Nível adicção! É meu perfume pra fugir da realidade, viver um personagem, socializar. Juro que meu QI artístico aumenta quando uso ele, pois é, pois é... Com o tempo vai ficando um assabonetado cremosinho extremamente confortável. O verde e floral desse perfume torna ele uma incógnita, não consigo separar as notas pois pra mim ele é essa junção viciante. Certeza que o cheiro de "plástico e tinta" que sentem aqui é devido a alguma flor específica junto do amadeirado. É justamente essa nuance que me faz parecer um integrante do N.A. 😅

It reminds me a lot of Pluie Sur Ha Long by Ella k Parfumes, as soon as I put it back on (Ella k I bought it later) I had déja-vu…. It reminded me a lot of a perfume that I wear with pleasure but at first glance I didn't understand what it was... Then the more I smelled myself the more I understood who it was... precisely Pluie by Ella K very similar, lotus, cyclamen, green notes.... In short, very similar and a question came to mind: "was it worth spending €190 (Pluie Sur Ha Long by Ella K) for a perfume I already had (this Cheap & Chic Light Clouds by Moschino) which instead cost me €30? “Well, more and more convinced that lately the niche…. Don't be so niche! Few words to the wise!

One of the first perfumes I used. Not really a fan now, but it’s very special to me, reminds me of youth and hot summer nights. Fresh, clean scent, very simple and basic. Can’t find this one anymore, only its similar version I love love.

Cleaned out my perfume closet and discovered that I still own this. It must be 12 years old now. I smell a very strong aldehyde scent and I can't remember if that was what it always smelled like but I really like how it now and I see myself wearing it lots in summer.

Rediscovered my mini splash of this and finally decanted into an atomiser. It's really lovely and I can't understand why this has been discontinued when I love love and the OG cheap and chic, which are much less lovely, are still available. Light, airy, watery florals and smooth musk smell lovely all day. Just don't overspray as can be headache inducing when overdone. Doesn't smell the same but has the same calm and relaxed vibe as Glossier You. Wouldn't pay silly money for this just cos discontinued but if you can find it for a decent price it's definitely worth picking up.

Was excited to try from the Cheap & Chic line because I love a nuanced musk, but I can NOT detect this on my skin once the alcohol fades off. Just a super-faint citrus. Light Clouds is a fitting name.

Smells like dryer sheets or fabric softener. Sits very close to the skin and disipated almost within 10 min. Not worth the money imo. Use a good fabric softener, and go perfume free for a similar, cost effective, longer lasting scent

I love airplanes and staring at the clouds from that tiny oval window. I miss that feeling. Light Clouds reflects that feeling in the air. The ethereal beauty and lightness, airy accords, softness.. I finally bought this little gem to myself, it was better than I remembered. Usually I don't love the perfumes that I liked 10 years ago, but Light Clouds is an exception.

What can I say about this perfume... I can't remember how I originally came across this perfume. From what I can remember, my mum got it as a blind buy and I absolutely couldn't get enough of it, I practically stole it from her lol. This is the freshest, juiciest, cleanest, crispest fragrance one can possibly own. It smells like how I would imagine a peach, baptised in laundry powder and left among the clouds on a spring day would smell. This is definitely one of my favourite fragrances of all time, I've never smelt anything light it personally. It genuinely does smell like clouds!!!!!!!!! If you want to smell clean, fresh and delicious, like you're wearing freshly laundered clothes are are walking through a peach orchard, this is the one for you

It's a very pleasant & clean scent that's great for summer. However, I'm finding that the fragrances from this line needs to be continuously reapplied over & over again. It's very annoying.

I've already seen a perfect review of this, but I can't seem to find it now. It's like a processing illusion, like a yanny/laurel situation. I came so close to impulse buying this after one spray and exclaimed to the sales person "OMG it's like fresh air!" Since then, I've opted for a sample first. I'm now smelling something entirely different. The very opposite of what it's intended to be. A thick, stuffy, dusty, poorly ventilated car. I'm off to wash my arm asap. Eugh!

Nice smell but literally lasts 10 minutes 😢

Luminous and positive scent. I have various of niche nice perfumes in my collection, but this fragrance honestly collected itself the most of all compliments. How to describe it. . . by relying on the associations : it's as clear day after the rain when the colors are brighter & the peace seems to shining. And against the blue sky floating snow-white, fleecy clouds. (When i wroting this outside the window floated by exactly such ) I love to wear it or even just inhale this fragrance. There is a non-standart idea here, I feel it's like a childhood in a toy bottle. One drop of EDT starts with the rich aroma of cyclamen. (For those who are not familiar with the smell of cyclamen this is difficult to imagine : it is like licorice with a purple hyacinth and a bit of velvet rose, all together ) The scent is incomparable, next i hear jasmine, lotus and pleasant airy freshness in it (not an air freshener :) How good is the lotus here with its cotton hue. The fragrance is a bit cool, slightly sweet, it is thin and fresh.

This fragrance smells like clean, just washed cotton. Musk and a lot of rare flowers like lotus and cyclamen. Smells very cozy and welcoming, like a recently aired room with fluffy sofas surrounded by wide windows and bounces of white roses in crystal vases. Also, it has some salty watery green notes, like aloe and cucumber. Unique and very pleasant. Being an EDT, I don't expect much longevity, but on me lasts more than 6 hours.

A unique scent that fades rather quickly.. Still is quite alluring, a blur memory of a innocent childhood.. It suits women that want this innocence to stay as long as possible

In some ways this smells exactly as you would expect. It is a clean white noise musk with the slightest hint of fruit or flowers. On the other hand this isn't the Lilly-of-the-valley type scent that you find in most fresh Air or rain scents. It is a salty musk kind of like Wood Sage and Sea Salt but without the wood or sage. It also could be a good choice for someone looking for a pool scent because it's like a cleaner version of the chlorine smell. Interesting indeed

I'm not a fan of lotus fragrances long time ago. But this one is really light and nice.

I like the composition of this perfume - flowers, a little bit of fresh, watery notes, musk. I use it in the summer, usually for daytime activities outside. In the evening, I go with Bvlgari Amethyste. It's not groundbreaking or the best perfume in the world, but sometimes you just want something that's simple, fresh and pleasant. Light Clouds delivers this.

A softer version of Fatale Pink by AP. Lotus is very prominent to me.

It reminds me of Lacoste pour femme which has 5 common scents . Too subtle, airy, inoffensive and delicate. It’s worth to buy because of its cheap price.

Similar to CH 212.

It is hard to descibe it and notes are not helpful nither. Somebodey mentioned peaches, and i can smell them too. IMO it is very airy, soft and on me more fruity (i guess it is peach blossom) than floral. But fruits smells more like a gentle soap. In drydown it is simmilar to I Love Love. It stays very close to the skin, but considering the low price tag, I think I will buy it. IMO it really does not deserve such a low rating
