Lovely fragance

This could have been very good, if there wasn't a soapy, synthetic, plastic smell that stopped every single fruit and flower from getting into my nose. I'm feeling nauseous.

Анонім

All I smell is jasmine. It's so overwhelming and awful to be honest. I don't smell ANYTHING else BUT jasmine. Yuck. I regret purchasing the full bottle. Overpriced jasmine in a bottle.

Анонім

Another Mugler disaster. I've let it rest for 6 months and nothing has changed. It does smell like jasmine with some orange, but nothing stands out because the heavy jasmine completely overshadows and ruins everything else, and the terrible longevity just finishes it off. This bottle design is literally begging for help at this point. Ever since Thierry died, the decline has been so obvious. This perfume is just another boring release. Bottle design: 3/10 Longevity: 2/10 Sillage: 2/10 Uniqueness: 1/10

Alien Hypersense is a very contemporary, crisp, and upbeat version of the original Alien. I get an impression of ginger in it also, so if you're comparing ginger scents, sample Alien Hypersense. Fun scent for summer.

Sadly I didn't really smell the fruity note in this, personally! It's a very pretty fragrance, but it doesn't match me at all. Based on other reviews I was expecting something super bight and fruity, yet complex. And, it smells complex I think, but I don't smell any fruityness. It reads very "mature lady" to me and I am a demon twink, so sadly not for me 3

My signature for this summer, amazing scent if it's good with your chemistry. It is the most pleasant, neon, feminine, and unique scent, and it is also very well-blended.

Анонім

Im EXTREMELY picky with fragrances and that's why i dont have favorite perfumes, but this one really got my heart.. Is electric and sweet, the woody notes arent noticeable in my skin but i got that pear notes very fast. A very sensual night fragrance.

Alien Hypersense opens with a bright, electric burst that feels like someone plugged the original Alien jasmine into a neon power source. It’s fruity, green, and solar all at once - a pink‑green flash that hits the skin with voltage rather than warmth. There’s a juiciness here, but it’s not syrupy; it’s alive, almost effervescent, like jasmine petals lit from behind by a warm sun. The jasmine is recognisably Alien, but not the molten, metallic beam of the EDP. Here it’s lighter, sharper, more kinetic - a jasmine that moves instead of glows. The green facets keep it bright and airy, while the fruity notes give it a soft, playful sweetness that never turns sticky. As it settles, Hypersense becomes a warm‑skin aura: soft musk, gentle amber, and a lingering fruity brightness that feels like sunlight on bare shoulders. It’s fresher than any Alien has a right to be, but it never collapses into the watery, pastel territory of the weaker flankers. It still has character, still has presence, still feels like an Alien - just rewritten in light instead of heat. Longevity: 6–7 hours Projection: moderate, with a bright opening flash Best for: late Spring, Summer, early Autumn (warm days), daytime, “I want to feel alive and luminous” moods. Feels like sunlight hitting skin. Hypersense & Alien EDT - My go-to summer Aliens. If the original Alien is a solar goddess, Hypersense is her electric daughter - bright, radiant, and unmistakably alive.

I hated the original Alien so I was extreamly surprised when I ended up licking this, I saw that people complain about the fruity top notes fading away too quickly but for me that's what actually sold the perfume since the reason I hated the original Alien in the first place was because it smelled like fruit punch...a cheap, generic body mist that I smelled everywhere in my childhood. Hypersense on the other hand has more complexity, if you prefer woody & musky notes over the fruity ones then you will definitely appreciate this change of perspective. To be noted is that this is a very airy and clean floral-oud.

i also have the alien extraintense and for some time i couldn't decide which one to buy. a year later i bought hypersense too because i've gotten a lot of compliments on the extraintense. it has the same jasmine scent but the pear makes it juicier. both of them smell a bit too synthetic and weirdly green to me but overall i enjoy wearing it especially in warmer weather. nice, fruity and floral frag for springtime.

This has been my go to for spring/summer in Southern California. I still get the hint of the OG DNA but with the pear note on top. I love this one but it does sit closer to the skin, so if you want beast mode, stick to the OG Alien.

I thought I gave a review of this perfume last year? Scrolling but couldn’t find it, maybe I didn’t. I have had my bottle for a year now… it was a blind buy because alien was a bit heavy. Influencers hypes it up a lot saying that it was not as sharp as alien but has alien DNA 90%. Bought it and loved it. But after 6 months, I don’t reach for it anymore. The fruitiness is overwhelming combined with jasmine. My taste has changed and I may end up giving it out. I can’t even use it as a room spray even if I try because I can’t stand the smell anymore. Too orangey plus jasmine.

This scent takes me back to 1998 and i dont know why but probably a boyfriend had some aquatic aftershave that reminded me of this. I thought it would be more mysterious being called alien, but it feels sporty and fresh like something id only wear if i was wearing y2k streetwear. Feels young and fresh.

Анонім

Fruity jasmine over a musky, woody base. The dry down has an unexpected sweetness to it that’s very enjoyable. Easier to wear than any of the other Alien flankers, but also forgettable. While this isn’t for me, I think it’s very safe, likable and ‘gift-able.’

Анонім

I feel like this is a libre flanker.

Анонім

sometimes i like generic in a way that makes me feel safe lol. this is the og alien, but better. a latin bombshell walking through a rainforest with amazing dewy skin.

I like fresh white florals but I can’t seem to find any that are green and not purple. I grabbed a small travel-size of this because I do love TM back in the 90’s early 2000’s and damn… Alien Hyper is very purple in the sense that it wears that thick grape-medicine kind of coating on its petals! If we get over the fact that TM makes polarizing scents, I can’t seem to smell anything anymore after spraying my chest and sleeves (1 spray each) after maybe 30 min. Not sure if that’s because of nose-blindness or the scent just having a rough time sticking to my outfit. Either way, it’s been weeks and I still have 2/3 of the vial left… I wouldn’t say it’s office safe but no one in mine has said anything and I use it every other day there. Would I repurchase? No, but only because I’m not a fan of that vape-juice, grape-medicine heaviness —and that’s all I get from a layman’s perspective.

Is it just me, or does this smell identical to Olympéa Aqua Eau de Parfum Légère, but without the salt accord?

Анонім

I really like this one! The jasmine and pear are beautiful. When it dries down the jasmine and warm amber are what I smell most. It lasts all day and is beautiful from initial spray to dry down.

I have Alien Goddess Intense and Alien Supra Floral. This flanker smells the closest to the original Alien from over 10 years ago. But more sweeter at the opening. the notes have been flipped and is missing the Amber that has been replaced by Amberwood and Driftwood. The jasmine is coming in strong in the middle notes, instead of the top like OG Alien. The top notes of Pear and Mandarin add a sweet and flirty flair to the scent. Perfect for day or night, this fragrance is giving summer vibes, with the warm weather optimizing the projection.

Анонім

will forever remember this as my ex's mums scent. she was apparently "extremely cool" and he hated her. its synthetic and really fruity and unapologetic

Анонім

smells beautiful but not my personal taste, it smells extremely basic like any other perfume, nothing alien about it, if you like the smell of perfume get it! but i HATED it cause it smells like...perfume. i feel so guilty cause my mom got it for me, i'll just layer it or something to add extra sweetness to my scent but i haaaaaated it.

Анонім

This would have been BEAUTIFUL in the 10mL Crystal shard "Purse" Spray! I'm still boycotting Alien until they bring those back. I haven't bought this, Extraintense, or Pulp. I'm so annoyed they cheaped out with the packaging and I will not sully my crystal collection with those basic 10mL sample-looking vials!

Анонім

This flanker to me is not as much floral as it is chemicals. The only thing that saves it is the dry down in a way. Not a safe blind buy

Анонім

Synthetic and metallic like most perfumes these days. The other notes I can bear but the metal, no thanks. And it's the tangerine that's responsible for it. Of course they had to put a citrus because why not make Alien smell like most of other perfumes. Nothing beats the original. No idea why this one is even called by the same name.

Анонім

only just purchased this and put it on, but to me it smells quite sharp and sour despite the pear note - which i love!! i'm a BIG fan of o.g alien (hence the username) but i have never actually bought any of the flankers. it smells a lot like the o.g in my opinion but has a juicier note its just more mmmm scrumptious to me. excited to see if it lasts as long as the o.g

The og Alien is way too strong for me and this one has quite a strong and screechy opening too, but in half an hour this melts with my skin into something beautiful. The og Alien is intriguing but a bit too much, and this is exactly what I hoped for to make Alien wearable for me. My husband said this is the best fragrance so far and I asked you mean of all of them or the ones I've shown you last week and he said might even be of all of them.

I don’t like writing negative reviews. What i’ll mostly do is politely describe why a perfume is not to my taste. Even with perfumes that really don’t appeal to me, i try to phrase things in a manner that doesn’t come across insulting to those who appreciate it. Lets be real, we are all biased towards products we like or love so when they comes under criticism, its a trigger whether we like to admit or not. With Alien Hypersense im struggling to mask my honest opinion. Scentwise its mainly a sweet white floral, with the dominant floral being obviously Jasmine. Jasmine is mentioned two times in the notes so nothing is left to chance. The perfume is syrupy sweet, with the sweetness being of floral-fruity origins, but its also fresh at the same time. Fresh might not be the right word, cold is a better description. Alien Hypersense is the first Mugler i’ve ever got my nose on and smelling it is an experience similar to what i had with Le Male. Despite not growing up around people who wore perfume regularly, im confident that somewhere, sometime during my childhood i’ve smelt this DNA in passing. It might not have been Alien but some other fragrance but this brings me to another point. Whilst many people call rose perfumes as oldschool, i associate this DNA with that. I imagine myself as a child in the 90's, smelling this perfume on a mature woman in her fifties. Very recently i’ve gotten more familliar with Jasmine in different creations yet none gave me an oldschool impressions, well...not REALLY atleast. What those other Jasmines had in common tho was a warm base and i believe that is what makes the difference. Alien Hypersense, whilst still firmly centered around Jasmine, opts for a cold or “fresh” base that not only make the perfume smell dated to my nose, despite shockingly being released just last year, it also cheapens the overall composition. I would imagine that a perfume called Alien would purposefully embrace synthetics and there is nothing wrong with that as long as its done with style rather then it coming across as an unfortunate consequence. Hypersense comes across as synthetic in a bad way. Admitedly, it softens and improoves in the drydown. It reminds me of the recently tested Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge Ultime, a fragrance i’ve praised. Rouge Ultime comes across as more modern, more elegant, sophisticated and rich and that is precisely because of the warm base underneath the Jasmine. Altho they aren’t flankers to each other, Hypersense feels like a cheaper synthetic sister. Its as if Rouge Ultime died, was brought to the morgue and placed on the ice cold table. The relatives arrived, touched her hand and felt the warmth of the body slipping away. Other then not writing rude negative reviews, i also don’t like to rate perfumes but this time i will. I would rate Alien Hypersense as a 6 and perhaps a 6.5 or 7 in the drydown. I’d expect this scent from one of the affordable brands. I respect the DNA’s impact and relevance in the history of perfumery but unfortunately my appreciation ends there.

The opening is aggressively synthetic- sharp, screechy, and oddly hollow. Instead of depth, you get a loud, chemical “clean” that borders on headache-inducing. There’s no warmth, no seduction, no evolution. Just a flat, soapy floral that clings in the most unflattering way. On my skin, it read cheap laundry softener not luxe, not comforting, just… loud and confused.
