Such a beautiful scent! I regret seeing this at Marshall’s for $50 years ago and not buying it :( I’ve been searching for a dupe no luck

This version of Angel for me opens with mango, pineapple and coconut cocktail with clear patchouli accord. I can smell fig later, with development of the perfume on my skin.

This bottle genuinely might be the most beautiful in my collection, but when it comes to the juice inside, I am so very confused and disappointed. Just started taking my Mugler collection seriously and thought I should pick this one up as I know it's discontinued now and saw one more legitimate grey market seller selling it. The note composition of fig nectar, praline, vanilla & patchouli actually sounds quite modern, but really it smells like they put the most dated and vintage versions of those notes in this fragrance because wow this smells outdated as hell for a 2020 scent. I swear it smells like it could've been created pre-2000's Idk if the juice has already gone through some chemical changes since 5 years of sitting on a shelf in a warehouse but this is sadly not what I imagined people were describing. I had the idea that this was going to be a soft, musky, smooth, creamy, skin scent, but it's, in fact, quite a cloying, loud, straight from the crop type of unsweet fig tree scent, but like the most outdated mature version of that and then some mystery vegetation. The note is very reminiscent of the fig note in that well-known Diptyque Fig fragrance, but yeah, not a smooth, airy fig like the one in modern fig fragrances like Father Figure. The fig note is then rounded out by a clean linen-esque backing, and yeah that's all I get from this fragrance. I dont get ANY praline or vanilla gourmand notes at all so the fig and laundry just overpowers everything else. But I think its REALLY important to mention how utterly confusing it is that they would put THIS type of scent in such a bright colourful rainbow bottle??? Just totally misleading. You'd definitely expect a sweet, fruity, energetic type of scent looking at this bottle, but yeah no that couldn't be further from the truth and that kinda annoys me. This gets slightly better as the fig note fades, so that's definitely the ke issue with it, but I'm not sure if it fully goes away as of yet. Unheard of projection and longevity for EDT, but I don't wanna smell like this anyway so... Ever since Loreal's takeover they actually HAVE NOT dissapointed despite what yall keep tryna tell me. Fantasm & Stellar were outstanding and I've heard Blush is also a winner (waiting for mine to arrive). Maybe croisiere is a sign I should wait for new releases to grow my collection instead of going back in time lol.

This smells like a vague misty generic air. Most of the Angel flankers just did not work for me. Its also an EDT which I usually dont like. I prefer the vintage bottles of angel the original so this isn't going to work for me.

Angel Eau Croisière by Mugler is such a unique summer fragrance. What stands out to me the most is that juicy fig paired with patchouli—but in a way that feels surprisingly light, almost watery. It’s a strange contrast, because patchouli usually reads dense and earthy, yet here it feels diluted, like it’s been softened by something aquatic. The opening is bright and juicy, but not in the typical overly sweet fruity way. The fig brings a green, milky juiciness that feels natural and slightly exotic. As it develops, the patchouli comes through, grounding the fragrance, but it never gets heavy. Instead, it keeps that “watery” impression, which makes the whole scent feel lighter and more wearable in the heat than you’d expect from anything in the Angel line. It doesn’t follow the usual summer fragrance formula, and that’s what I really like about it. Performance is good for a fresher scent—it lasted around 6 hours on my skin, with good projection in the first couple of hours before settling closer. Overall, a unique and refreshing juicy twist on a classic, with a summer vibe that feels different from the crowd.

This smells like dial hand soap - the orange color kind - the "original" - I adore this, it's easily my fave Mugler and such a gorgeous unique bottle. This also lasts FOREVER on my skin and clothes.

Somehow all fig fragrances smell like mango to me. This smells like a tropical island vacation I would enjoy, no sweaty beach time, just fresh fruits and sweet alcohol drinks. Today is a gloomy winter day and wearing this made me so much happier.

Adored this for years, smells like milky fig shampoo with a mild but sweet patchouli. It’s my favorite of the 3 flankers they released (the mango one and the coconut pineapple are both good but this is better). I’m about 1/2 way through my bottle when it started to get a kind of peppery musky smell. It’s almost cuminy? I’m thinking it’s because the bottle is 5 years old now and the patchouli has had plenty of time to macerate and I’m patchouli sensitive. Still a lovely fragrance but I’ve passed it along as I’m just not reaching for it much anymore.

I fell in love with this in the store. I use to work in a paper mill, and a young lady wore it to work one day and she over sprayed it, that mixed with the smell of the mill gave me such a bad migraine, that from that point on, I could no longer bare to smell it. I gifted it to a family member. Strange how fragrances can trigger different things, it was such a yummy fragrance before that.

I only have a sample and agree it's scrumptiously delicious! To me it smells like I'm on tropical island, down by the beach on a sun lounger, shaded by an umbrella. It's a balmy summer's day; the waves gently kiss the shore as a gentle breeze rustles bamboo wind chimes and carries wafts of magnolia flowers softly in the air. I'm dunking shortbread biscuits into warm, milky fig tea. Even if 'fig tea' is not even a thing ;)

Another fig fragrance I gave so many tries. It's too fruity. I love fig, but this wasn't very fig forward for me...or not the right fig. It's bright, juicy and green but smells like another (additional?) fruit instead of just fig. Most likely the patchouli at work. I do not shy away from strong perfumes, I love magnolia and I enjoy Angel flankers. Sadly, this one did not stay with me. Super fun bottle design though.

Absolutely delicious scent. I've been blessed with a new bottle that i was able to find under 60 dollars. This is actually not that similar to the normal 2019 Angel EDT but it does have its DNA 🧬. It is much more complex and unique. It is more than the fig and "magnolia", which is in quotes because I don't recall there always being a note of magnolia. Overall, this is much more than a mall perfume and very different from the original Angel, but it feels right with the Angel label.

i loove this scent & paring it w drop d'issey gives me cunty hyper femme deep sea discotheque

Soap & Glory's Fresh as Fig smells very similar to this, just without the patchouli. Angel Eau Croisiere is definitely creamier and fruitier in hot weathers, a very yummy fig and coconut combo. The patchouli is greener in cold weathers, almost having the same vibe as the fig tree in Womanity.

as my second bottle of this enchanting elixir nears its end, i am left reflecting on all of the wonderful scent memories i've made with it. i first discovered this flanker the year it came out; it was sent to me as a sample with another perfume. and now that i think about it, this was the first mugler i have ever smelled... it truly started my love affair with the house and with fragrance in general (unbeknownst to me at the time) (yea, she's THAT girl). the feeling of wearing eau croisière matches up perfectly with its essence: it's a sweet, bright, warm, enveloping, and supremely comforting experience that's teeming with life. describing the scent itself is difficult for me, because it's so much deeper than the notes listed... all i can say is that it feels like home to me. and i might be biased because she's been in my scent wardrobe for about half a decade, but even though i've changed over these years, this fragrance has remained steady. for me, she's a beautiful reminder to savor life and to always remember the good times. oh god how i'll miss her...... ♡

Nothing mind blowing, smells like the EdT but in a colorful bottle. Not long lasting.

Анонім★★★★★

Heavenly.. this is THEE Angel flanker for summer!! So complex, fresh, syrupy, creamy and fruity which is perfect for me <3 not seeming to get much use out of it during the colder months, but I’ll be using it a LOT as soon as it warms up!

Анонім★★★★★

i think i'm realizing figs simply aren't for me - they're neither sweet enough nor green enough, just an unsatisfactory median. it's not unpleasant, but it's not great either. they are the star here though, so if you love them this could be a great choice for you! overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷🖤🖤 3/5

Bought this perfume a few years back. I love fig. But, not this one...it was such a disappointment on me. It smelled weird on me, like plastic and something was off about it..it just didn't smell good on me at all.. It was just sitting on my table, gathering dust. I tried to find someone else who liked it, but no takers, so I ditched it. I do regret that actually. I should've sold it, because apparently, lots of other people do like it. No one I know, but the other reviewers do have nice things to say about it. Not everything smells good on everyone. 🤷

I am a huge Angel OG fan and have loved it for over 25 years. Collecting the various flankers is something I enjoyed so you can imagine how delighted I was to find someone selling off this particular discontinued Angel Eau Croisiere 2020 unboxed full bottle at a very affordable price. It’s weird and wonderful and I love it. The fig nectar makes it unusual and distinctive from any fig perfume I have and I like how it’s not overtly sweet yet it gives a tropical and edgy vibe. I will be using sparingly because I don’t know if I will ever get another bottle so it will be more of a keepsake that will be used up slowly. I love Mugler perfumes and it’s a shame all the in your face scents like Alien, Aura, Womanity, Angel OG have been seriously toned down under new management. I will update about sillage and longevity after wearing it for a week but for now, I will say moderate sillage and 6 hours on the skin. I give it 8/10 for uniqueness.

As the name suggests, Eau Croisière (cruise) is a summer appropriate Angel. It opens up with a blast of fresh, slightly aquatic fig accord which reminds me a lot of a fleshy green coconut. As it warms up on the skin, the signature Angel patchouli, although majorly toned down, comes through together with a tropical, creamy sweetness supporting it. I’m so glad to have this discontinued Angel flanker in my collection. The bottle is a work of art.

Анонім★★★★★

Lovely tropical perfume! The fig is very prominent, I’ve not smelt another scent like it! Smells great in cooler weather as-well as hot! Great longevity! Don’t like the original Angel but this smells nothing like it🙌🏼

Nov 2024 -- Selling my bottle. Review -- This fragrance smells very vibrant, green, and fresh. The fig is very noticeable to me. Objectively, this is a nice fragrance given the foregoing. But it's just not what I expected. Since there are notes of fig, praline, and vanilla, I thought this fragrance would be sweeter and warmer. The bottle is stunning, and it's the reason I was so tempted to purchase this. Note, however, that the bottle doesn't stand upright, so you lose some of the beauty when it's laying flat. Lastly, even thought this is technically a flanker of Angel, it doesn't smell anything like the original Angel to me (or Angel muse).

Анонім★★★★★

Absolutely obsessed. I'm on my second bottle of this. I almost didn't repurchase because I have Iced Star and they are pretty similar but I was really missing that fig. I got a great deal on a new bottle from mercari that I'll be savoring since it's been discontinued 😭

Анонім★★★★★

Good sweet vanilla and fig, cooked or dried sticky figs, not green ones. Very nice. For those of you trying to find a bottle, it is remarkably similar to Memo Tamarindo (which is available as a dupe from Dua)

Анонім★★★★★

The dry down reminds me of CK one and now I can’t unsmell it.

Анонім★★★★★

I looooove her! She’s very similar to Iced Star and I’m happy about that because I can’t find Iced Star at a price I can afford. This smells like Ocean Water from Sonic (if you don’t know, it’s a blue carbonated drink with Sprite soda and a blue syrup added that has coconut in it. It’s really good!). I’m so glad I have this in my collection. The star is so beautiful too! I’m looking for stands to put my Angel Stars on so they can really shine!

Анонім★★★★★

When I first smelled this, I was a bit thrown off because the opening and middle notes were very syrupy. However, once the fragrance dried down, I was like "Oh okay I'm here for this!" This fragrance is very difficult to find, so I was very fortunate to have located it in a local perfume store. I immediately bought a bottle and got the last one!!! When I sprayed it on my skin again after purchasing, I didn't get much of the syrupiness so now I'm even more in love! Only down fall is that this fragrance only lasts about 4 hours. I'm still happy to have it in my collection though. 🙂

Анонім★★★★★

I like this a lot on its own during the summer months, but lately I have really enjoyed layering it with Paco Rabanne’s Fame. They’re both delicious on their own but Angel brings the robot to a new level while the robot makes the Angel use her inside voice. 2 spritzes of each and I’m good for the whole day.

When it comes to Mugler, Patchouli, and blind buying — I get very nervous. I did blind buy this and yes I was very nervous because I was afraid I would be committing to a 1.7 oz bottle of a patchouli bomb. (ptsd of me blind buying Angel here 😂) This fragrance surprised me. It’s such a fruity but woody scent that is very sexy. Currently wearing this in 90 degree weather and it’s not cloying, syrupy or anything bad. Wonder how it will smell on me in colder temps? 🤔 I get more of a woody note with my body chemistry. This isn’t a very strong hitter like Angel, where people can smell you from miles away 😂 this is very tame when it comes to Sillage. It’s moderate on me. So far, longevity is 2 hours and it’s light on skin. Which, necessarily not a bad thing to me. I can see this being a date night fragrance for some but to be honest, this beautiful scent has no rules, I believe you can wear this anytime or any season. All in all, this was a successful blind buy and I’m so glad I was able to experience such an indulgent scent!
