this fragrance gives me oriental vibes. i like to layer it with some of my other perfumes. it’s a good blend of citrus and white florals - feminine classic.

one of my favourite everyday perfumes - more of a spring/summer scent, pairs lovely with the body oil.

Smells like sitting poolside as a child. It also reminds me very much of Paris because it's so common with younger women there, and I could smell it on the subway, in line at shops, and walking through crowds. I pair it with the oil and it lasts a very long time that way.

I'm picking up some faint lily and rose notes, some citrus, and it mostly smells like oil or candles. I would wear this to church. The fragrance isn't strong and it's actually quite nice to smell on my skin. My personal rating would be a 8/10. Super wearable, but not unique.

Eh? I don't smell any of these notes. It smells straight up like the oil so if you like the oil you'll like this. I don't really enjoy smelling like oil tbh and when my skin got warmer the perfume started smelling a bit like rancid cooking oil wrapped in something floral? I'd wear it if I had to or had absolutely nothing to wear but I would never ever repurchase this. It's such a pointless fragrance imo

Cheap price was attractive, but I am so very disappointed with this one. Fact is, the scent itself it cheap too : all I can smell is citrus and a synthetically nauseating gardenia. Somebody said I smell like a toilet freshener. Good thing it's so faint and short lasting.

While "powdery" is not listed as a main accord, it's more powdery than anything else listed; behind the powderiness is a sweet, floral scent and maybe a hint of orange if I'm not fooling myself. A slight musk trails alongside the powderiness as well. Not the first thing I'd reach for, it gives off middle-aged woman with a bougie air that may put too much importance on appearance rather than anything of substance. She loves the attention, good or bad, and this honestly obnoxious fragrance would be her signature just for that. On another note, if too generous with a spritzing I imagine you may suffocate a room and be liable for manslaughter.

There's something that annoys me about this one. It's a bit too cloying and waxy for hot weather, but too tropical for any season but summer. I like the elements separately, but it smells a little greasy and synthetic when close to the nose - there's not as much freshness as I'd like from the mineral notes. I wear the Florale shimmer oil on my legs in the summer and that has a much nicer scent, maybe I'll try just try a light application of this over it and see if it calms it down. Sillage and longevity are absurd - this will truly last you ages.

I have the oil, before purchasing it I did not understand why some were in love with such a "simple" scent. The point I've found is that while it is simple, it is very elegant, classy. It's refined and slightly ambiguous, it does not smell like usual white florals, but more like I go to the spa regularly. I associate 'tropical' with fruity, coconut, or with sunscreen, and I am happy to say that this perfume is neither. Simple elegance. I love to have my shoulders and collarbones reflecting light in the evening over a lovely summer dress, on a terrace with the sea breeze, a glass with my lovely girlfriends, it creates the most romantic, fulfilling evening. Summer is not the time to overcomplicate fragrances, I find. Lighthearted fun, appreciating the time to relax, and enjoy.

I am reviewing the smell of the oil- as I like it less than the perfume. It's a bit too heavy, very mature lady smelling. The other oil smells are better. Also NEVER mix this with La roche posay tinted face sunscreen cause the smell combined is horrific

I was looking for the perfect euro-retro summer scent. I couldn't get a bottle of reasonably priced Guerlain Terracotta. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess was weird and overly sweet on me. Ditto the Vacation EDP. I liked and bought some of the Sol de Janiero 87 Rio Radiance body spray but I wanted something a little classier. I liked Killian Sunkissed Goddess but too pricey. Then I remembered that I love this body oil. Bought a bottle blind. Very close to what I was looking for and a great price. I wish it had a tiny bit more coconut. The pebble note is like a weird bitter green metallic bamboo? Not my favorite aspect, but not too prominent on me. And if I put a little lotion on top, it mostly disappears.

This is lovely and smells identical to the body oil to me. It's a gorgeous creamy white floral with a smooth coconut vanilla base and an interesting mineral type note, almost like wet stones or clay. It's lovely! It's warm and seductive. It does smell like expensive body care products, but that's exactly what it is replicating! Longevity is ok, probably 5/6 hours ish with a moderate sillage.

This smells EXACTLY like Yves Rochers Monoi body mist/shower gel. I’ve always wanted to have it as an EDP, but there was no dupe. i stumbled upon this randomly as it was a blind buy and was stunned at how similar they smell. it is a light white flower fragrance, so it’s not headache causing. very simple and summer-y.

I love the original prodigieux oil but this wasn’t worked for me. On my skin rose scent was potent, I wish I can enjoy other white flowers more. Glad I tried it.

i really like this ! quite powdery but reminds me of this after oil spf i would buy in france . very floral heavy on application but quickly dries down to a smell of hot rocks on the beach and an amberish coconut cream base .

It has a powdery and metallic undertone in comparison to the dry oil. It was gifted to me, and I used it but I don't think I'd purchase it again. I love the Nuxe dry oil and I use it almost everyday for both its moisturizing effect and its smell, but I don't think the perfume version matches it correctly. I'd say they are 85% percent the same though.

I love the scent of the oil so decided to buy the perfume. Upon first spray it smells exactly like the oil. A little later there's a plastic undertone to it but it's close to the skin. Probably the pebbles. I don't get any florals or coconut. To me it's a warm, summery fragrance, almost ambery, and I can't really isolate any notes for some reason. I actually really enjoy that.

I have been using Huile Prodigieux for a number of years and I love it, so I was excited about the perfume. I bought it blind assuming I would love it as well. Smells as I would expect, it is pleasant and perfectly fitting for a hot, summer day. So, why do I feel slightly underwhelmed by it?

Coconut cream. Very fitting for summer and to be paired with sunbaked skin, a pina colada and a tropical beach. It’s pleasant and fresh without being too astringent, sharp or synthetic. The fragrance is beautifully balanced and rounded, with a tropical floral sillage of presumably frangipani and gardenia.

Perfume that smells like the dry down pls?

This is a gardenia-white floral forward fragrance, very creamy and spa-like. I am surprised ylang-ylang is not mentioned as I can clearly detect the distinct creaminess it lends to this scent. Coconut is not the typical scented-candle kind, in fact it's very very subtle, more like coconut-water, and plays a supporting role. Vanilla is not sweet, in fact, this perfume can hardly be called sweet at all. The silage is unexpectedly decent, can't say about the lasting power yet.

It’s like the huile prodigieux and the monoi oil by yves rocher had a baby! Ultimate vacation perfume! Performance is out of this world 🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️ loveeee

I was gifted a set by a friend and i really didn’t enjoy this. I don’t like this fragrance at all. Not here, neither in the huile prodigieuse. I won’t purchase nuxe products in the future.

I love this one! I bought this because I loved the Nuxe Oil and I have to say, to me they smell pretty much the same, except that the perfume is stronger, of course. It smells very Mediterranean to me, first of sweet citrus and in the dry down more like vanilla and pebbles (didn’t know perfumes could smell like them, but I get it now lol). The pebbles are probably the element that makes some people say it smells a little metallic, but I honestly don’t think it’s a bad thing. The longevity isn’t extreme but it does last at least 3-4 hours on me. I also think that this perfume is very original, it doesn’t smell like a hundred others and I appreciate that very much. All in all one of my favorite fragrances.
