Even though this perfume was withdrawn several years ago, I remember it well. My mother used them for quite a few years, so when I was young and when I was with my mother, I had contact with them almost every day. What struck me most about these perfumes was that they had much more of a masculine element than their male counterpart, Frey, which I owned at the time - I still do, because years later I managed to get this extraordinary unique piece. Freya was fresh, but at the same time strong and spicy. It exuded the warmth of sandalwood, the earthiness and greenness of patchouli, specific, indefinable flowers with a raw aura, it had an extremely woody, cedar base. All this followed a very fresh, sea-like beginning, slightly touched with citrus fruits. Freya had a Scandinavian spirit, this is how I imagined the climate of the north - icy sea air, cold flowers, grass and moss, snow-capped mountains. They were amazing. I haven't seen anything like it so far. It's a pity that Oriflame stopped producing such a gem. The icing on the cake was this extraordinary bottle. Her male counterpart was also great, although completely different, but more about that on another occasion. 9/10

Every time i see those bottles they make me think about South Park’s Mr. Hankie.. don’t hate me I really felt the need to say it. ✌🏼

I love it, I hope to find the same perfume one day. In the meantime I bought Agua de Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Agatha Ruiz de la Prada for women, reminds me of Freya. It's pretty nice. I found Freya, used, old but still alive:)

I miss this scent so much! I've even written to Oriflame if they could make a comeback :) I loved everything about this perfume, the scent, the bottle.. it must have been my first grown up perfume in my teens, it would bring me to a present moment, make me feel strong and absolutely beautiful. It made me feel that I can achieve anything if I am just myself. It gave me comfort and confidence like nothing else. Wearing this perfume - every day was a good day. Reading other peoples notes, I just purchased Perles de Lalique - hoping it will be very similar, can report back on that today as it's due to arrive in few hours. UPDATE: this perfume does not work for me at all - i tried really hard to find resemblance but failed. It's heavy, woody, powdery with a rose and it reminds me an old perfume my grandmother used to have in her cupboard. Not a bad smell but definitely not me and not Freya.. I have Idôle L'Intense Lancome which reminds me Freya a bit. It's not a cheap perfume so wouldn't recommend buying it blindly in hope to get freya replacement... but I love it - it's my current signature perfume :)

I used to love it, I even feel nostalgic remembering this unique scent. It was very original to it's time.

I really enjoyed wearing this. I wore Freya during my high school years. Recently, I have tested and bought of a full bottle of a very similar fragrance - Perles de Lalique. Despite made up from different notes, they really are similar. Cold, fresh woodiness with a masculine edge. Might help someone who really misses this fragrance.

Oriflame has absolutely had some winners over the years, this being one of them. Many are sad about this particular discontinuation. But I gotta get this off my chest, you guys. If you've ever watched South Park...this bottle reminds me too much of Mr. Hankey the Christmas poo. Can't unsee.

I had it in 2003 and some bottles more repurchasing in next years until 2006-2007. Then when it was gone ,i was sad for a long time. Unique and great price ,unusual bottle and name. I wish they bring it back at least in 50% same smelling. Maybe freya eau fraiche 2016?

Unforgettable fragrance! My mom had 3 or 4 bottles of it in my childhood and it was just perfect - salty, sweet, mystical and cold at the same time.

I agree, the best of female Oriflame ever - there is nothing similar to Freya! It's wonderfully woody - due to the fantastic sandalwood with some lilly of the valley. It's fresh and cozy at the same time, long lasting, with reasonable sillage. And it's really classy, mysterious and original but inoffensive. I used more than bottle and I really miss it:(

I wonder and I do not understand why it withdrew from the sale! : / I remember from my childhood smell was wonderful, borrowed it from my mom. The smell was something fresh but also something mysterious. And the idea of packaging even great and unique.

I have had the privilege to be accompanied by something as rare as Freya for a number of years. Pure and fresh, independent and firm, wide awake and always present. Feels like Ronja the Robber's Daughter grown up, being the proprietor to all the magical Nordic forests, cliffs and valleys. Every morning she is the first one out there, either with -20°C in winter or +20°C in summer- looking over her beloved lands, fresh breeze gently touching her cheek from one side and an elf in the dark, mysterious forest greeting her from the other side... Freya is cool (not cold) and assertive, I couldn't see any split personality accompanying her. Very unique and unforgettable perfume, haven't met any of quite the same spirit yet.

I rather dissagree with some of the previous posts. I find Freya a very good perfume, with excellent staying power (at least on my skin). It certainly does stand out in the crowd, in fact, it doesn't remind me very much of any other perfume I use or know. And when price is taken into acount (something in between 10 and 15 Euro in my country), it's certainly a bargain! It's a pitty that Oriflame discontinued its production...

A beautiful ,crisp,refreshing gush of wind in a nordic countryside.Sea breeze laden with woodsy notes,mild wildflowers,green herbal notes mixed with citrus drops.It has a cool character,not too sweet or floral but definitely feminine.I kept the unique bottle that reminds me of an ancient viking artifact,maybe like a perfume jar dedicated to the nordic goddess Freya...

I love this perfume but unfortunately just discontinued. It smells unique, fresh and classy. Would love to have it again!

How could they take out of production this great perfume, and keep junk like Sun, Moon, etc... This was my signature mark ages ago... Now I'm still looking for a new one...

I miss this one! It was such a unique fragrance. I found it a bit cold, somewhat masculine at times - yet it was feminine and wrapping itself around like a warm sweater, too. Some woody notes, some floral notes. For free, strong and independent women proud of their womanhood - like Freya.

first, I think it was too strong but unique and classy. Then for many hours...maybe 10hours after sprayed to my skin, it became unforgetable scent. My friends just love it and they said It Is You. I don't understand why Oriflame did'nt make it anymore. Too bad.. sale or not there always somebody want Freya Edt

Maybe too masculine sometimes for ladies, but it definitely one of my favourites of Oriflame. Didn't know it was discontinued. Possibly too expensive to make this kind of perfumes. Smells like freedom, mountain winds, grassy valleys. It reminded to me the Envol of Ted lapidus ( ex- lancome's) also discontinued... :(

Unique scent in awesome pagan bottle. :-D I regret that when it was available in my country I couldn't appreciate this sharp and mysterious fragrance, telling tales from the North, legendary winds wafting from it. Now, few years later, I still keep a couple of drops in a sample that I fear releasing in the air as if the tale would end. :-D I haven't met other suchlike. If someone has found something that resembles it, please share your opinion!

Yes, it's cold and strong, and special. Really good one. I particularly love the bottle.
