Not for the faint‑hearted but I adore it. Teroni can be a challenge, especially in warm weather, where its intensity becomes a full‑body experience. My favourite way to wear Teroni is at home, layered with something completely opposite, a soft, vanila or gourmand comfort scent like Tihota, to balance the whole composition and aura. Give it a try, that Teroni-Tihota duo contrast is quite magical, although Teroni is like a Duracell battery; it keeps on going and going and going....

This perfume is very well built. It is a little bit similar to Bocсanera, but still very different in many aspects. You can really feel the brand's DNA in this perfume. Some people can feel the base of Black Afgano or Сuoium here, which makes sense because of how this scent develops. During the performance, there is something sweet here with a lot of burned wood. I guess it's raspberry or pomegranate connected with amber, wood, and smokiness. After 5–6 hours, it becomes drier and smokier, so be ready for it to be smoky. A very good choice for the evening. Very good sillage, with longevity of about 9 hours +

The smell of Old Valyria.

Were it not for the prominent raspberry note in the opening I would be left with a visual/olfactory memory of walking in sight of post harvest stubble fires remembered from my country childhood. Smokey and woody with the subtle mineral scent of freshly turned soil as the remaining detritus is ploughed back into the land. An Autumn palette. This is the magic of visionary perfumery. The power to conjure images and sensory impressions from ephemeral materials. Alessandro Gualtieri is a master of his craft. I love it!

Its Black Afghano's tolerable version, I kind of like it. But, if I would have smelled it earlier I wouldn't have bought it. Not a blind buy safe, in anyway. And its smoky like a cheap cigarette smoke and smells very niche and unique. Its opens slightly in Black afghano's good note but moves to better notes instead of black afghano. Its a scent not a pleasing fragrance, I appreciate it

Salty peanuts and their dull, scratchy feel on the palate, an autumn campfire with the smell of second-day used clothes (still smokey), smoked almonds...it disintegrates very quickly in the heat and all that's left on your skin is warm, evaporating saliva. Not very pleasant.

This has become almost my signature scent. It is so beautiful to me and I can't explain why. It gives me vivid imagery of camping in a forest in the winter, but it is also so sweet and alluring. I wish I could just spray this on whenever I please but that would do this fragrance a disservice. One of the few fragrances I find I wear truly for myself and not to impress others, although it gets a lot of attention from people as well because it is a powerhouse. Very reminiscent of Black Afgano, in fact when I purchased this I had a sample on each hand debating which one I liked more. This is way more smokey and woodsy and not as sweet and sour like it's cousin. 10/10 must sample

It’s my second bottle of Terroni and I don’t ever imagine not having it. Some scents just speak to our soul, the dark and smoky fruitiness of this perfume is simply stunning and unforgettable. If it was a folk legend, it would be Faust, and if it was a drawing, it would probably be a Dürer

This smells of burnt countryside. That’s the imagery that comes to my mind when I smell this fragrance. My nose picks up all the Smokey earthy accords. I really like this fragrance maybe not to wear it much but as an olfactory experience

STRONG, even on someone who typically finds that perfumes don't last that long on them. However, it has this wonderful, sexy, dark scent. The raspberry note prevents it from being too earthy and provides a nice sweetness. To be worn on gloomy, cold days. I get constant compliments on it whenever I wear it.

@paulfresh below me has a great olfactory observation. There is a peanut accord that remains prominent on my skin when I wear this scent. Does anyone have insight into why that is among these notes?

I’m a nightlife photographer, and Terroni instantly reminded me of the end of a long night shooting at Clubs and indoor Raves in LA. The room has been warm for hours, there’s smoke and perfume hanging in the air, and the sun is starting to come up outside. You’re tired, about to go home, but the whole night is still stuck to your clothes and camera. That’s what Terroni smells like to me. Warm ash, scorched earth, smoke and a strange sweetness underneath it all. Not an ashtray and not really “a club scent.” More like the residue left after the night is over. I didn’t expect to love it this much, but I keep going back to smell it.

What I'm finding with the Orto Parisi perfumes that I sample is that Gualtieri 's signature in Orto Parisi leans into the synthetic, airy abtractions of the notes you see listed in the pyramid. For instance, although I can't pick out the legitimate smell of real raspberries in Terroni, I do get a vague semi-sweet berry aspect to the woody and spicy notes. It's interesting, but Terroni is a like but not a love from me. :)

When I saw raspberry as the top note for this fragrance, I was a bit concerned. But looking at the reviews & other notes I had to try it. The raspberry to my nose is barely noticeable behind all the other notes in this fragrance. This fragrance is actually so smooth compared to what it appears to be. Smoky, but not overpowering. Creamy woods with a slight sweetness, spices from the resins, sweet, but with plenty of darkness. This actually reminds me of memoir man from Amouage a bit, but with less sweetness & a number of other differences of course. 9/10

This is my favorite fragrance off all time. I love this earthy, smoky and sweet smell that it gives. This is not blindbuy safe. However new batches of orto parisi, like 01245 and 06241 doesnt last as long as the old batches last. My bottle lasts pretty long still, about 7-9 hours. I wish my bottle even was stronger but its still an easy 10/10. Best Orto parisi and the best fragrance OAT.

Terroni is very unique. When I got a sample of this I really didn't like it but I decided to keep trying over the next few days and my opinion changed. At first it smells like old, aged coffee that you've had sitting on your shelf for six months. After a few minutes it takes a complete turn into this earthy, ashy, charred leather scent that I can only describe as the aftermath of a chapel after a fire. It smells dark, mysterious, evil, and angry. Every time I wear this I always catch myself smelling my wrist, it's addicting.

Ok, so I started by testing this on paper. I was shocked. It smelled like bacon, or burnt dessert. Like the burnt edges of a pizookie left in the oven too long. I sniffed the paper hours later, and I liked how it smelled, all trace of burnt food gone. Then, I put it on. I was surprised at how wearable it was. My best friend even complimented it, saying smoky fragrances tend to smell good on me (thanks bestie). That evening, I had plans to get drinks with a friend, and Terroni hadn't faded. It didn't feel like it matched the vibe of the hang, so I decided to mellow it out/soften it with Stora Skuggan's Moonmilk. I'm excited to keep trying this out, and can imagine gravitating toward it more in the fall and winder as it cools down― it just doesn't feel right for happy hour and park hangs as the summer solstice approaches.

The initial spray is a bit of an assault to the senses, it smells like barbeque sauce to me, it calms down in about a minute to a sweet, smoky birch. I slightly see why people compare it to Black Afgano, I've had the pleasure of testing them at the same time, this is much sweeter and woodier, it doesn't have the animalic note of BA. The verdict is, don't blind buy, but it is very good.

Terroni – Orto ParisiI reached for Terroni because I read: "smoky, earthy, volcanic, intense."And yes, I got exactly that. Only in the version: a barbecue at Uncle Zbyszek's allotment in a small Polish town, Saturday, 34°C in the shade, the plastic table is sticky, and someone has just put sausage directly into the flames because "that is how it should be, it needs to catch fire."First hitThe first hit smells like a hot grill grate, damp charcoal, scorched lighter fluid, and that moment when everyone pretends that black smoke from the barbecue is "aroma." There is sausage in the air, burnt onion, rain-soaked soil, ash, and Uncle Zbyszek's T-shirt — because he has been turning meat since morning with one hand and holding a discount-store beer in the other. This is not elegant smoke. This is smoke that knows your brother-in-law's phone number and owes money to the tax office. After an hourAfter an hour it becomes more allotment-like. As if someone poured water over the bonfire, but it is still smouldering underground, offended and vengeful. You get burnt grass, an old garden shed, hot concrete, and those plastic chairs that remember christenings, divorces, and three generations of family arguments. There is something warm, dirty, mineral. Like the soil under the grill, where pork-neck fat has been dripping for fifteen years and nobody asks what grows there anymore. In the baseIn the base, Terroni becomes genuinely beautiful, but in the way a man after a day's work by a fire is beautiful: tired, sooty, slightly illegal. It smells like black earth, ash, burnt sausage skin, dust from the access road, and warm grill metal that nobody has ever washed, because "fire cleans everything."This is an allotment scent, but not the kind with lavender and lemonade. This is an allotment with a rain barrel, a shed full of nails, one spade without a handle, and a grill that looks like evidence after a garage fire.Longevity?Like smoke in your hair after a bonfire. It sits on skin for hours. On clothes it stays like remorse after the fourth sausage. On the psyche — until someone says "maybe some black pudding?" and suddenly everything comes back. One spray and you do not smell like someone who was at the barbecue. You smell like someone who probably signed the deed to the grill.Marketing saysProbably something about earth, fire, southern soul, roots, primal heat, and volcanic matter. They should have written"For people who want to smell like a backyard barbecue where the pork neck is black as conscience, the mustard has been standing in the sun since morning, and every family conflict begins with: 'I will just say one thing.'"Rating: 9/10I subtracted one point because after one spray you feel like putting on cheap rubber slides, leaning on the fence, and telling someone that "tomatoes just are not what they used to be."These are not perfumes. This is an aromatic field report from a place where fire, fat, earth, and an uncle with tongs made a pact so nobody ever leaves smelling normal.

I am here to rant about orto parisi since its my third perfume from them that is beyond shit. I love the smell but performance is beneath tom ford somehow.

SOOOOOOOO good on men it gives classy lumberjack off duty and on women it gives "She'll ruin your life in all the best ways and look hot doing it." I could write a poem about this perfume and I probably will. Leaves a really obvious scent trail too. Update: went to a party and got numerous compliments totally worth it

Tried this again, sprayed ONE time on my wrist, a smoldering fester of olfactory nonsense just spreaded throughout my arm , quickly decided it was better to wash it off as i could feel a headache about to kick in. Also there is WAY too much ambroxan going on, which is probably why it feels so intensely heady. The projection and sillage is monsterous Absolutely not for me

Dark, warm, and beautiful. Best way I can describe Terroni is: sun-baked hand-turned clay and sweet, salty skin at dusk, still smoky from the kiln. And I swear... it feels somehow alive the more you smell it. I don't know how, but it does. It's also distinctly similar to Dior Oud Rosewood but with the addition of airy, salty, red-earthy musk and hint of smoke. As for performance: Sadly, the rumors of recent Orto Parisi reformulations may be true, because this is basically a skin scent. Nothing like the room filling volcanic cloud other people have reported, unfortunately. I'd love to get my hands on an older batch.

Oud, birch, benzoin, vanilla and moss, well-balanced and blended. Quite smokey and woody-sweet scent, has a very strong sillage and longitivity. This is a good "oud" scent so far.

Sweet and woody, a really unique fragrance that I really enjoyed on a sample card. Super sexy vibe, but unfortunately it dried down kind of weird on my skin, and I can’t really pinpoint which note is responsible for it? Probably just a skin chemistry thing, which is such a shame.

3 sprays and I regretted this immediately- I somehow well exceeded the proper amount of sprays for something like this. I could be smelled within a 5 foot radius. My sibling inquired if i was trying to smell like I was smoking. This is rather acrid, especially at the opening. I had to wipe this down to prevent myself from getting a headache from how beastly it projected and got way too up in my nostrils. There is a hum of some fruit berry and leather - but its still predominantly smoky- kind of burnt. I think you have to be a particularly bold and brash individual to pull this off as your signature frag. Masculine leaning, I can see 30+ pulling this off, it begs to be somewhere cold, too. Not for me but stupid interesting nevertheless.

"petals on a wet, black bough" - ezra pound, is a perfect review already. i would only add the petals do smell of raspberry like on the perfume pyramid above; also as an indonesian i thought post-dry down theres a definite stink of menyan/kemenyan. when i wiki-ed it, the english equivalent of menyan is the resin, styrax benzoin, so the pyramid dont lie about that either.
