Comparison to VIW - very close, lasts a lot longer with better projection. Comparison to AF's Hawaiian Volcano - not as strong, doesn't last quite as long, same projection. HV leans more masculine and old school. All are beautiful, summer, fun scents.

Not bad, but sooo overhyped

Agree with just about everything @pytrs wrote below. The strong lime note does settle down within the first 15 minutes and lets the coconut and sweetness come out. Wish the boozy notes were more noticeable. I get a good six hours longevity. Buying VIW now is just throwing your money away. Certified summertime banger.

The scent is beautiful, but I can barely smell it because the chemical smell overwhelms it. The fragrance also lacks detail and depth, which causes nose blindness very quickly. The scent itself is beautiful: lime with coconut, but light rather than creamy or oily, with a touch of sweetness that isn't excessive. Again, the scent is beautiful, but it is far too chemical. I hope it improves with aging.

More limey and less boozy VIW. Its also slightly sweeter and less airy. While performance is better than og, the scent just isnt completely there. Mainly the strong lime in the opening is what I find annoying. For the price its still pretty good tho.

Fantastic fragrance. No need to buy VIW when this outperforms and fraction of the price

It's good but it feels like eating a bounty bar while drinking a whole jug of overly sweet lemonade. I mean both of these things are enjoyable but the lemon/lime overpowers the coconut by a lot so it's... less enjoyable.

Lowkey kinda fire scent. Blended very beautiful, very unique for a summer freshie. The sharp smell of fresh squeezed lime, that cuts through the rummy coconut it s insane considering the price. (For those people that do not smell rum here, rum is not really a note , it s a finish that wraps the fragrance, like apple iykyk). Longevity kinda trash, I would say 1:1 with original for now, around 3-4 hours. maybe time will make it last longer..you know...m word.

AI advised me this was a cheap substitute (note NOT clone of) Curacao Bay from Jacques Fath. The Aquatica was supposed to help eek out the rather pricey CB, but although it's in the ball-park scent of CB, there's rather too much lime and too little coconut for me.So I'm just having to bite the bullet and use the CB. But Aquatica is a handy, hot-weather beach scent. The Creed VIW debate is completely over my head......

I wore Paris Corner's Coconut Lagoon religiously all of the beginning of the summer. Loved it, but felt like it lacked some depth and was just slightly too sharp. Then I got Aquatica and boy o boy was my mind blown. It has similar vibe to Coconut Lagoon, but it just feels richer and more balanced. Aquatica opens up with a burst of lime, but after a couple of minutes the coconut and slight booziness comes through. It's fresh, slightly sweet, very easy to wear in high heat. Definitely heavier on the lime than yhe other notes. Absolutely beautiful! 100% unisex in my opinion. Longetivity could be better, I get around 4 hrs on skin, but on clothes it lasts a whole day at least. I also love layering this with French Avenue Atlantis Extrait for some added sweetness and longetivity.

Boring generic scent that kinda smells like grass I don’t really love it too much. I would look for something better I don’t recommend. I sold it about a month after buying it. 6.2/10

9/10 Fragrance. Most dupes I eventually come around to ultimately giving away and striving for the original. Whether thats marketing doing me in OR me actually being partial to OGs' better materials/construction, who's to say? This is one of the very few situations where that isn't applicable. Rayhaan Aquatica renders both the original VIW and current reformulation absolutely redundant. Longer lasting too. Hype well deserved.

Decant came in. At first it smelt like lime cleaner, but its starting to grow. And the silage is wonderful.

Its nice but too coconuty for my liking. Was a blind buy and hoped it was abit more floral, if you love coconut this is the one for you.

Smells like a strong fizzy lime/lemon sprite opening then dries down to half coconut/half lime on skin but you have to get very close to smell the coconut. Changed my opinion after the first few sprays but is a Very nice blend on the dry down, doesn't project like crazy or fill a room and doesnt last like a crazy amount so you can go crazy with the sprays to make up for it and given the price thats a no brainer. But is a nice add to the collection, good for high heat. 7/10

Reviewing after day 2 with a bottle: Feels fresh and creamy, not very boozy. The lime and coconut go really well together, just enough sweetness but far from cloying. Not sharp at all. Honestly it’s very elegant and punches way above it’s price range. Usually not that impressed with dupes or designers, but honestly this is on par with creed/LV/guerlains. Only tested VIW, off memory aquatica may be a *bit* denser but not heavy at all.

Disregard the last review. This hasn't been compared to Dior Homme Cologne, @BertNK you're describing about Azul. This is a clone of Creed's Virgin Island Water. Perhaps before trashing something you should do a bit of research first. By the way, Azul is a stronger version of Dior Homme cologne, I don't know what you're talking about.

The Rayhaan marketing team is insane the way this has been pushed as an "Stronger" Dior Homme Cologne, its not trust me its not. smell i would say about the same just a bit more lemony, and weaker than DHC for some reason.

The dry down is just a knock out. So smooth and creamy (pause). That sugar cane shines through and the lime carries over but softens up as the coconut shines (pause again).

This fragrance smells exactly like Lime Starburst. It's one of my favorite summer go to's. A good mixture of lime and coconut but far more lime than coconut without it being too sharp. Wearing it while on holiday and getting some very nice comments. In high heat it lasts a few hours but may actually be more effective in slightly cooler weather. People will notice this scent and does leave a nice fresh trail

This is beautiful. Fresh, citrus with a sweet edge - I have been looking for something like Secret Lagoon by Oakcha that lasts longer and this is a very close smell! Can’t say if it’s as good as the Creed as I haven’t been lucky enough to have that one but I absolutely love this, it’s similar vibe to Paris Corner Coconut Lagoon - which I also love. Very much a summer scent.

After smelling the original, and the other similar “pina colada” style scent JPG’s Le Beau Le Parfum, this really is the best version of that DNA for the summer. The original Virgin Island Water has pretty bad longevity, and the fact it’s somewhat creamy means too much of it can become cloying, much like LBLP. The opening of Aquatica really does smell like mostly limes, but not only does that improve the longevity, it also makes it more refreshing and less torturous to overspray in the heat. The drydown does have the lime as quite overpowering but the creaminess does come in. It really is a delicious scent and the best compromise in terms of scent, versatility and longevity. Better performance than VIW, less sickly sweet than LBLP. Wear it anywhere you want; I can’t think of any place where this sort of scent would be looked down upon.

I really, really hated this when I first got it. It smelled like literally nothing but photorealistic lime and cleaning product. As 2 months went by, I tried it again and now,it’s settled into an actually bearable fragrance. It’s still a heavy lime, but with lighter citrus in the back.

It's my initial impression. I am not very impressed with it. It is a very simple limey, citrusy fragrance. I don't smell any coconut or sweetness. The performance is weak, but it might change with time. I've noticed something lately: Rayhaan stopped adding batch numbers to their bottles. I saw a comment from someone saying the same thing, and they bought it directly from Rayhaan. Did anyone else notice that?

Hi everyone, This perfume, Rayhaan Aquatica it is one of the best summer fragrance (especially for summer vacation because of his notes) not just because of the smell it reflects but because of the smell you can get in that period of time when you wear it. Before I'm gonna speak about smell, i will talk about the performances cause is a big talking point. For longevity is very modest where i get 3-4 hours (I'm not into that "beast mode" performance but i would love if you could get between 4-6 hours but yeah, anyway). For the silage I can say for my perspective that i get very good projection from it compared to what i see on internet which I can only be grateful for that (i don't know if it is my skin or i get a good batch (i don't believe the second options but it is an option at the end of the day)). As for the smell, ohh boy: it's like you are on a beach and you stay under an umbrella (or not if you're skin is not burning (like mine :( but this is life) ) and you drink a cocktail. It's majestic. That opening is so good that after sometime you could smell the sugar which like having sugar rim on glass. Even if my nose cannot catch the base note (only probably rum or musk) and also note the floral notes, I believe this perfume is one of the greats and you could easily where it even when it's 40 Celsius outside or when you go on a pub in middle of the day on a summer day for a drink (unemployed benefit) where both genders could wear this. For a rating I'm gonna give it a 9.5/10 (just because of that longevity + my nose not picking some notes).
