L'Homme Rochas

Signature scent worthy and very versatile. Can be a daily driver and also carry evenings for you. It projects well for about 30 to 45m and lasts about 4 to 5 hours on skin.

This has become one of my favorites among my 30+ fragrances. It’s a classic-inspired scent that has a modern take on fougere scents from decades ago, but isn’t dated. Rochas has mixed sweet and fruity in with their spiced oriental scent to create a pleasant and classy fragrance. The notes are mixed well enough that it’s hard to pick up on just one. It’s a very good blend, although somewhat linear. I spray 4-5 times on skin and clothes and I can smell it on me when the air blows around me, so it’s not extremely weak. Very work safe and would be enjoyed by men over 30 IMO. Spray and let it age 2 weeks.

If this had a little better performance it would possibly be my favorite blue fragrance. I got this in a trade, and I fell in love with this DNA. It basically smells like a slightly fresher D&G K. I do get excellent longevity out of it, and I have gotten compliments even though it's projection is closer to skin. I would just love a more "beast mode" version of this. Now Ahmed Al Maghribi Kaaf Noir is great and I love it, but it's not exactly what I mean by "beast mode"(I want it to be Savauge EDT strong). The Rochas has an extra freshness that my other D&G K clones don't have. Maybe it's slightly more aquatic I'm not sure. I absolutely love the blood orange in this though. I'm a sucker for that note, and maybe a few other orange notes. This doesn't smell exactly like D&G K it's actually smoother. Like the difference between Savauge EDT and EDP. This could be K EDP. It's smoother, sweeter, less spicy, powdery, and more well rounded. It kind of smells like a mix of K, Savauge EDP, and either BDC or Dylan Blue. With all these hybrid fragrances coming about out of the clone houses I would love to have Rochas L'Homme mixed with Savauge EDT. Or at least Savauge EDT with a massive blood orange, tangerine, and mandarin notes added(and maybe some orange blossom too), and call it Sunrise Savage. Anyway I absolutely love the way this smells and the longevity, but the projection could be better.

Inspired by blue scents such as Dolce & Gabbana K EDT and Versace Dylan Blue; personally I definitely get D&G K vibes immediately with the blood orange open; it's stellar. The cardamom also comes through for me in open. Nice herbal heart of basil with earthiness from the geranium interaction with base of patchouli and moss; it is lightly sweet due to the tonka which reminds more of Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu.

This smells like something very familiar, like a much better version of Montblanc Red (which is generic AF), or more mute softer grown up Coach for Men (screechy!!! also same perfumer!!). This also for some reason giving an illusion of a note of a strongly seeped sweet black tea, which gives it more depth and darkness. Not bad, feels slightly more mature. Inoffensive, well rounded and mute, not so much in your face or up your nose. Typical modern bluey with black sweet tea.

Unbelievable comments I'm reading here. This new age of three notes, sweet and lab-made fragrances has done more harm than good. This is one of the most unique blue fragrances ever made and I'll never not have it in my collection. The day this gets discontinued, the asking prices on sites like eBay would become crazy.

Ash from Gentscents is an idiot for saying this smells like D&G K. They’re not even in the same ballpark. This smells somewhat similar to a cheaper smelling version of Coach for Men, but with this disgusting and potent patchouli note. It’s extremely headache inducing and just does not smell good to my nose. The opening is the only good part of this fragrance, but don’t let that fool you because it lasts 10 or 15 minutes tops, and then that gross patchouli note starts to take over. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. You’re better off just getting Coach for Men or D&G K if you’re looking for those types of fragrances.

I like it, there's a nice initial blast of blood orange and the drydown is also very good very close to skin (have to sniff it hard like a dog to get it). Problem is that it's very weak and it is almost gone after 1 hour. Maybe it needs time to mature, let's see if it improves with time.

That typical in the mall smell ruins it , heavy ambroxan stench.. good price, boring and a bit juvenile,

I liked this one okay, not my favorite but I didn't hate it. However, my wife, who has a very sensitive nose and normally puts up with my fragrance addiction specifically asked me to stop wearing this one. She said it had a very chemically smell and was giving her a headache. Smells okay to my peasant nose. Decent longevity and projection, but apparently not great for people with sensitive sniffers.

The notes for this one sound perfect, but the smell is almost like a sweet hairspray. Gives me a headache but everyone is different I suppose. 5/10 because it has good performance.

This one started weak and weird. But it has aged so well. The opening is now a fresh blast of musky fruitiness, as it should. The whole thing sits on a very basic, very classic blue base, but a very competent one. I’m gonna wear this more now, especially at the office.

I actually really like this, and TBH I didn't think I would. This is masculinity in a bottle, not abrasive or super macho, just no question for a man. It's "blue" but doesn't smell like shower gel, if anything it smells like a nice shaving foam type scent, not exactly fougere but definitely more of a classic type scent but not old fashioned. It's quite versatile, I would think you can use it for all seasons (maybe not cold winter, or date night). It's not going to wow you, but it's pleasant, affordable, has decent quality, versatile, isn't unisex (in an era where everything seems to be) and has decent performance. It's spicy woody similar in family to Issey Fusion extreme. And again even though it's nothing new, I feel myself grabbing it with little thought if I want to smell good that isn't overwhelming and need to run an errand, aka dumb reach. I passed on this a few times at online checkouts and I am glad I finally picked it up because it was better than I expected.

This is a NO for me, smells aromatic synthetic metallic heavy headachy, absolutely no fruits! I wouldn't say it smells cheap but it just isn't for me.

Gives me headaches... I find it unpleasant.

Good for people looking for a blue fragrance, but if you are wanting the blood orange smell i would definitely look for something different.

As someone said, synthetic and metallic. At first it appealed to me but soon i started getting headaches. I really would say you get what you pay for. To me it's not worth the money - even 20€ wasted is still a waste

Really enjoying wearing Rochas L'Homme. It's blue, fresh, fruity and spicy. Sillage is good, but longevity could be better. But I bought my bottle for £20 from a discounter, so I've got no complaints.Of course it's not ground breaking, but it's super versatile and a perfect dumb reach for day to day wear. I'm kind of glad it hasn't been given any attention, because it means that I'll be able to pick up further bottles very cheaply. Move along, nothing to see here. ;) 8.5/10. *Update* I have nearly 150 bottles of fragrance and some of them were very expensive. But I absolutely love Rochas L'homme and find myself returning to it time and time again. Rochas is one of the cheapest I've ever purchased, but it's easily one of my top 5 favourites.

More of a fugere than a blue fragrance. Very aromatic, fresh, clean, barbershop style with some modern style to it. I haven't smelled K in a long time but what I get is BDC EDT mixed with Chanel Platinum Egoist. Not a bad fragrance but definitely not great. Mediocre at best. The bottle is awesome and the fragrance is meh. Redundant in my collection. Was expecting a "different" blue fragrance, but it's really just a well done run of the mill barbershop with a twist. I do love a good barbershop though. This is a 5/10 in all categories....scent, projection, longevity and value.

It's great, and not hyped. i wore a full bottle and loved it. Got me compliments too. A fruity fougere, very masculine and sexy. Longlasting and good quality. The user below that complains about the quality is missing something. probably a bad bottle. this is not and super high quality fragrance, but is good and better that JPG, Rabanne and so on...

It’s awful. Put some wood stick and Dove shower gel in a bowl and it’s what you’ll get. Boring, unoriginal, have a nice shower instead you’ll smell better than this.

The first two hours are quite simply blue shower gel with pineapple dominating. Not pleasant for me but that's just me, I can see why people would love it. The hours in and the blue pineapple reaches equilibrium because the musk starts taking over and that I love.

I love this stuff. I got it because it was supposed to be similar to K which I also love. But to me it doesn’t really remind me of K at all. To me it’s a very clean barbershop type smell. It even smells like shave foam on the dry down to me. I think for a fresh fragrance this has nice elegance to it. Doesn’t smell cheap to me. The performance could be better. But overall this will stay in my collection for as long as I can get it.

It delivers as daily versatile fragrance. For the price, you get what you pay for. Do not expect a beast mode unique juice from this. It is a very nice mass appealing one that gets the job done. I spray this on clothes, too, to get decent longevity.

Kinda like a tonka heavy Sauvage, or Sauvage mixed with La Nuit de L’Homme. Sorta a blue frag but ambery/spicey. I like it, smells like a decent quality designer frag. If this was more potent I think it would be a hit.

Just picked this up and wore it for a night... This is a very good fragrance. I own Moustache EDP and I think it is OK, but L'Homme Rochas smells superior in quality and is a great execution of a Blue Fragrance. Scent/Use: I can smell the cardamon, patchouli and the geranium. There was a waf of pineapple, but it seemed to be gone nearly immediately. I don't have a great, cultured nose as others do, but I've smelled enough clones/designers to know when a fragrance smells cheap, screechy, synthetic, and unnecessarily loud... This one is the polar opposite. The scent is pleasant, sophisticated, and versitile. It changes in the dry down and loses the fruit component, IMO, but is still extremely attractive. Based on my experience in one night, and the compliments of others, this might be in the regular rotation for Spring and Summer. I also contend that any and all Blue Fragrances are safe for the office, when not overapplied. Comparables... While it reminds me of BdC, I don't think it smells like BdC. It also reminds my of Missoni Parfum Por Homme, but it doesn't smell like a clone of it. I like this scent more than Acqua Di Gio Profoundo, D&G Light Blue, or Versace Pour Homme. I use those three scents as examples because the circumstances for wearing them would be the circumstances I would wear L'Homme Rochas, but not because L'Homme Rochas smells like those three. If I were going to a "dressed up" event, I would still opt for BdC, Dior Homme Sport, or Prada L'Homme. Value: I paid $18 for this (50 ml), and for that price, it's one of the best deals on the planet. If you are just getting into fragrances, and you're on a tight budget - this is one you should pick up. The only downside I had was that 4 hours later, it seemed to be fading fast. So, if I'm going to be wearing this at the office (and I will be), I will need to give myself one more neck spray after lunch (just one). UPDATE: Great scent, but either I go nose blind after 2 hours, or the longevity is really poor. Because of this, I can't really trust it during the day (because I don't won't to over apply it). That's a real bummer. I was expecting it to be in my Spring rotation for daily wear.

This fragrance was a waste of money I thought I found a cheap niche fragrance to gate keep so I blind bought it and it was horrible so synthetic and metallic and headache inducing please I warn you just buy something anything else I wore this to school and everyone hit me and shoved me into lockers all jokes aside it’s a 1/10 fragrance
