Dalissime

Love the lychee and peach! To me that's the most prominent notes.

The fragrance is just as impressive as the bottle itself.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting something that will remind me of childhood summers, fresly picked fruits warmed by the sun. But for me, it's not fresh at all, the base notes are so overpowering (especially the sandalwood) I can barely smell the fruits and flowers. Maybe the problem is in my nose. It's smells vintage, reminds me of antique shops and flea markets, which I like very much, but I wouldn't wear it in warm weather without something more fuity. I prefer to layer it with Britney Spears Blissful Fantasy or similar ones, so it smells whimsical. Dalissime gives a mystical, magical depth to ,,lighter" fragraces. I don't regret buying it, altough it turned out to be nothing like I was expecting. I guess you might have a similar experience if you are sensitive to deeper, oriental scents.

It's a very pleasant everyday perfume. It's floral, fruity with freshness, it's sweet, but not in an overpowering way. Floral notes come with the first spray, and as it dries down it become more and more fruity. After a few hours of wearing it, I can feel some powderiness but in the best way possible. I can understand that it is not for everyone, but I like it. Sometimes it reminds me of something that I can't define, something "retro". (I don't know if it makes any sense at all. :D)

A lovely fruit salad scent. it leads with peach, but apricot and pineapple also enrich this fructal fragrance. This indulgent affair is further sweetened with light blend of mixed florals, ...as well as a substantial vanillic ambre-santal accord that becomes almost buttery. There is also some soapy musk at the base, I'm less fond of that note, but it's subtle enough. Obviously, Dalissime takes its place among the other splendiferous peach perfumes of the 1990s: Tresor, Fantasme, Exclamation (with more powder), Diamonds and Rubies (with more roses), Casmir (more vanilla), etc. Dalissime is best worn when languorous bliss is the main objective. ..,and the bottle is yet another curious masterwork, joining strange surrealism with sheer opulence.

This was a positive surprise to me. I was expecting an ordinary fruity scent, but this is a powdery, woody apricot with a strong hint of honey (which oddly enough is not in the notes). Like other commenters have said it seems true to the time of the 90s (or at least my perception of what it may have been like), and it reminds me a lot of Versace's Red Jeans that was also released in 94. I don't however find myself reaching for Red Jeans too often, so maybe this one is facing a similar fate.

This makes me nauseous! The perfume is very 90s smelling or even vintage. Super powdery and dull peach. Can't even use it to spray bathroom.

This smells like some kind of sour candy, but I can´t determine the exact "flavor". I had this when I was younger and loved it then. Peachy, fruity and sweet. I bought it again recently and don`t like it anymore. Maybe this bottle has gone off because the top notes are much more sour than I remember. Now it smells sour/fizzy, candy-like, artificial and I can´t seem to smell the different notes. Lasting power is also not the same. Now it totally disappears within 3 hours.

Yuck. Smells way too weird and I am not liking it at all.

a peachy vanilla sandalwood. pretty sweet, with a hint of an aquatic note. i get peach, apricot, sandalwood, and pineapple as the most noticeable notes. it's very pretty actually, but too sweet for me because it kind of smells candyish. i like it in a way but just could not wear it, sadly. i think i'd like it if i smelled it on someone else walking down the street. it smells nice, it's just not for me.

I think that the drydown smells almost exactly like Franck olivier eau de parfum. Not my favorite but it's not a bad fragrance, especially with the cheap price point. I don't really get a lot of the fruity notes to be honest

I like classic Salvador Dali perfume and have warm nostalgia about it. I got a miniature set on E-Bay and trying all the other Dali perfume line. I have to agree with some reviewers here that it's pleasant generic fruity scent. I recall many smells like this at the Shoppers Drugmart perfume counter: they come and go and often show up on the discount shelf for $20 or so. Nice bottle for collection if you love Dali's art. I do and I think having those crazy looking bottles in one miniature set for $50 is a steal.

I am in some kind of a summer peach mood and cannot resist anything with peach right now. I don’t know what the original was like but today’s Dalissime is a light, a little bit aquatic peach, perfect for an early summers day. Its very happy, quite young but not overly sweet and totally suitable for more mature tastes also. Its not a statement fragrance, definitely not, nor something overtly complicated but its a very lovely, pleasant, peachy, apricoty soft light peach coloured watercolour painting of maybe a small island in the Aegean... Dalissime can be found so inexpensively today that you cannot go wrong with this one if you want a lovely light summer pick me up fragrance.

Was my mom's signature in my childhood so the nostalgic bias is there, quite rare even though counts as very cheap in today's currencies, and I found an Indonesian dupe/flanker by the name of Beige 96 from Mine.Perfumery (far different notes - in the leathery group but share the rose and sandalwood) in 2021. Now planning to buy a full bottle of the flanker for her. Very universal but might smell too mature in the peak heat of the day/summer. Best time to wear in my opinion is in the afternoon-golden hours to evening.

so weird to smell this fruity aquatic today, it smells like the 90's and it was really not that good.

This was my first “grown up” perfume in the nineties, and I absolutely loved it. I had my first boyfriend wearing this, and he loved the smell of this on me. I remember getting a lot of compliments from friends and strangers when I wore this. But I also lost my mom wearing this. And I also had my first gigantic, monstrous, devastating heart break wearing this. So there’s many bitter sweet memories connected to this scent. Today I found a small perfumery who happened to have this, and I tried it for the first time in 30 years. It’s been slightly reformulated, but it’s still beautiful.

The first spray is very synthetic, but settles down pretty quickly. After that it turns into a watery, dusty, peach. I have a hard time picking up any individual notes in this EDT, though I could immediately tell Dalissime had the same nose behind it as Laguna. I don't like Dalissime nearly as much, however. It definitely reminds me of some other contemporary powdery-peach fragrances, and I could see this as an artsy teen girl's first 'real' perfume in the 90s. I may try this again layered with an almond or creamy-vanilla based fragrance, since it's those notes in Laguna that I really loved. EDIT: Okay, I tried layering this with Solinotes Amande. It didn't quite bring out the vanilla and tonka notes like I hoped, but I was finally able to pick up on more of the floral notes, as well as the apricot and litchi. Only now it's giving me a bit of a headache, unfortunately.

Artistic herbal peach. I bought Dalissime because I wanted a piece of Dali’s art, even if it is a mass production 😂 The opening is a bit harsh and synthetic, but it soon mellows to a peach and tart-fruits combo. The sweetness is balanced by a slightly bitter herbal nuance from the tagets which adds an interesting refreshing edge to the fruits. A shy rose then peeks and it soon dries down to a soft vanilla sandalwood base, but you can sense the bitter-sweetness all through. I’ll take Dalissime anytime over a modern peach which is boring and without character like HB The Scent. At least Dalissime is artistic and a bit eccentric like the great Salvador Dali himself. But it unfortunately has a short life.

It smells like dusty peaches. I can smell narcissus and rose too with powdery notes. It smells like home, and I can't describe it better. It just makes me feel good and comfy.

This one is quite unique for a cheap frag. I have 5 ml. perfume concentrate . There is some herbal note to it.I wish I wasn't perfume snob ,so I could use it on daily basis because i love it

Hands down my favourite cheap perfume - it smells like summer, the epitome of summer. To my nose this is very lovely peach scent, quite likeable, compliment getter, but not something unique, which is fine with me for the warm days. For the price lasts and projects pretty well. Deffinately buying it again for the hot days.

This takes me back to dance practice in 7th grade - the prettiest girl wore this and it made her even prettier! The peach and apricot takes me right back to 2008. Quite pleasant, pre-teen memories. Unfortunately the bottle I received had turned horribly (from the 90s), the opening had turned to a mix of urine-alchohol-babywipe smell. It is first in the dry down, many hours later, I get a glimpse of how the perfume actually is like. I would give this a go if I had a newer bottle for sure! Update: I bought a new, bigger bottle. I quite like it, but it has to be the right weather and I have to crave a syntethic peach. The scent profile and notes are intriguing to me, and I've tried Venezia by Laura Biagiotti which is similar, although that scent is more spicy, heavier on the tonka and not as powdery as this one. I would pick Dalissime over that, but sometimes even Dalissime is too powdery. I read an old review that said that this is the perfect fragrance for late summer/early autumn. Today is September 1st and I will have to agree! It is just perfect for this season.

This is a spring perfume, very pleasant and I would LOVE it if there wasnt some weird note in it that is bothering me

Dalissime is 90s peach galore, but on the fresh and powdery side of things. Not as syrupy and heavy as many other peachy scents from this era. In my opinion it's impossible to mistake this as an older or more modern perfume, it has such a strong 90s vibe. On my skin it's super fruity. Peach is the main note, but I also get the tartness of pineapple, litchi and underripe plum. It has an underlying warmth, too, but I wish that part was a little stronger. I get much more sandalwood than vanilla, amber or tonka, and in this case I wish it was the other way round to balance the sourness of the fruit. I still like the scent, it just doesn't absolutely wow me. None of the floral notes really stand out to me. I was a bit worried about the tagetes (marigold) note, as I find this flower's smell unpleasant in perfume and in nature, but luckily I don't get a lot of it here. After testing Dalissime three times I only detected tagetes once, for a minute or two in the opening. So if you love 90s scents, but dislike tagetes, this is still safe to try.

I don't know why, but this perfume gives me the same vibe as "Sunflowers" by E. Arden. It isn't love, that's for sure, but I really enjoy wearing Dalissime. Fresh, fruity, not too sweet, I would call it even "sunny" fragrance. Perfect for spring and summer. The longevity is not very good though.

My mother have always had this perfume in her collection. I fell in love with the bottle and I used to smell the cap at any given moment because the smell was so comforting to me. This christmas she gave me my own bottle and boi was I excited for this beautiful bottle! It now holds the honor place on my perfume shelf. On me this opens up fruity and flirty but dries down to a comforting apricot/peach/jasmine with a hint of sandalwood. It fits me like a glove and it is so easy to wear, this is my go-to fragrance for everyday wear during spring and summer. It is light but noticeable, and it ain´t hard or sticky what so ever. Even fragrance sensitive people in my social circle can manage this one.

This one is very 90s,kinda nostalgic smell to me.I like it,but provokes sadness when i smell it.It is very affordable ,like 10 euros here,but even i like it very much i just cant wear it,makes me very sad..probably i make assosiations with my young years when i was 12-13 and i miss these years of innocence and happiness.i miss my childhood,my parents been young and i miss these times when people and life were different.

I'm going to attempt to divorce myself of emotion in regards to this perfume, because cerebrally it is provocative, dynamic, and structurally sound. I will also note that this is winter time, and my exuberance got the better of me when I came upon the notion that I wanted to try all of the Dali collection, and I purchased this out of season. I feel that I should know better than that by now, and perhaps its profile will change in warmer weather. At this point, on my skin, its so strongly taget forward, that it feels I've doused myself in pepper. On paper, however, especially if I apply a little heat, the fruity notes evolve and balance the marigold quite nicely. So I will spend my time reviewing the paper notes, and leave skin scent discussion for another time. The peach, although slightly synthetic, seems to meld wonderfully with the sharp peppery notes the tagetes provide. There is some other fruity sweetness in the opening, but they really aren't very distinct in character, just more of a subtle hum of saccharine. Rose takes lead over Jasmine, and it is as if Jasmine is breathing a sigh of relief, that it didn't have to do all of the heavy lifting again. So yes, there is a distinct fruity mood, but the floral dance is much more exhilarating, and the brain has no choice but to ruminate over that tango and dismiss the juicier notes as a merely pleasant peripheral component. Lily of the Valley shows its sweet soapiness towards the dry down, and opens a door for the warming effects of vanilla, tonka, amber and, sandalwood. This is where all the potential of the opening spray metamorphoses into breathtaking beauty. So exquisite is the heart and the tail, that one forgets any offensiveness in the beginning. This is what Burberry Touch should have been, but just couldn't get past the incendiary nature of pepper's pungency, and lacked the wit about to tame such an unlawfully bullying chord. Having said that, I will leave you with this: Dalissime is certainly not for everyone. It admittingly, belongs in the hands of someone who enjoys a little olfactory shake up from time to time, and views perfumery as a passion one should dabble with as often as possible. This is a perfume for those so fervent in the craft, that they view challenging notes as a daily work out, the way some view the gym. In that, its validity is unshakable, and its place in my collection remains secure.

I can immediately detect the apricot note in it, it is quite prominent throughout the performance. Rose gives it a powdery note and I detect a bit of muskiness too. It is not an amazing perfume but it is pleasant. It is definitely unique and well-rounded, so it is a solid 7/10 but this isn't my type of fragrance, unfortunately, but if I were to be gifted this I wouldn't give it away.

Gorgeous Angelic smell! Absolutely lovely scent. It's sophisticated, the bottle is pretty. An attractive, likeable floral fruity. This is one of the nicest florals I've smelt. Soft, warm, sunset. Sweet! Peach soda! Fruit juice! Homemade peach candy/cake! Kinda reminds me of ramune even, to some extent. I have two bottles. One of them is literally 25 years old bought from Switzerland. The fact that the perfume held up SO many years is crazy.
