Sergio Tacchini Donna

I just got Creed - love in white for summer as a blind-buy. It reminded me so much of something and now I think I know what. I’m almost sure it’s this one, but it was so long ago.

It would be unisex if it was created today. I have some nostalgia about those days when I liked it, but my tastes have changed. Today I think it's just a "French shower" type of perfume (gin and tonic vibe) and none of the notes stands out. Dina_France (YouTube perfume reviews)

A quintessential 90s scent for me! Oh man, how I appreciate the well-made wholesome perfumes of those days, esp. after having tried so many other types and trends of perfume styles. Yes, it's not long-lasting which is expected from Eau de Toilette - 2-3 hour tops and only the first hour has any sillage to mention. But there is zero alcohol smell or any cheaper-smelling base even at the moment of application. What I mean is with most 90s scents, and with ST Donna in particular, you don't have to wait it out while the scent is settling, there is no unpleasant initial stage after spraying. ST Donna is light and airy, but not weak, it has its distinct personality with the very noticeable aquatic motif.To me it's more aquatic than fruity or floral, but it's not ocean-y or beach-y. It doesn't have that salty ozonic sandy feeling to it. There is a slight herbal bitterness in this composition that comes from water-lily or lotus note that could be perceived as a bit musty if it wasn't off-set by pineapple freshness. 20 years ago I would not be too crazy about this perfume, as it is simple, but classy, as in color "off-white". Now these types of scents are interesting and refreshing in more than just olfactory sense of the word.

I really really like this. This was my signature scent when I was a teenager and I purchased it a while ago and still like it a lot! It's a really nice blend and smells fresh, light and feminine. There isn't a melon note, but I can smell a little bit of melon in here and it's lovely. Doesn't last that long though. Suits very nicely in daytime, expecially in spring and summer time.

Received a 100ml tester bottle of this from my regular perfume supplier as a complimentary gift. It's light and inoffensive. Safe for the office. Nothing special, to be honest. 4/10 It's sitting in my frag cabinet, collecting dust. Any ST Donna fans interested to swap this tester for a leather/smoky/anything equivalent, hit me up. I won't miss this one.

I remember wearing it around 20 years ago as a young professional. The scent was pretty, inoffensive, clean, well, in one word - appropriate. People complemented me on this scent and I liked it too if only there wasn't this peculiar aquatic note - was it water lily or lotus? I wonder...

It's fresh and pleasant but too simple, the fragrance doesn't develop over time.

Fragrantica, this perfume was released in 1998. The ozonic/aquatic trend only started somewhere in the middle/late 90's. Also, like Vickalena said the notes are wrong too. ST Donna is a great summer fragrance. It smells like sea and summer fruits. It's like carrying the smell of the beach and fruit cocktails wherever you go. The amount of fruit notes is very well balanced with the other ones and ST's composition was created in order to make the sea note stand out, which makes it a super fresh and exotic scent. The lasting power isn't the best one ( about 3/4hrs), but you can't expect much more from a summer perfume, because they're so light. I can relate with the similarities of Ôui, however Ôui is more floral/fruity, while ST Donna is more on the ozonic/aquatic side, which makes them very different scents. Edit: Some people wear this in Spring, but I think it's in the Summer when this baby really shines - it takes heat to smell the sea note. On Spring it smells just like any other aquatic/fruity/floral, like millions of others out there. .

This was my signature scent 1-2 years in highschool. Really liked it. Absolutely lovely, and in harmony with the white color. Very fresh and feminine, moderate sillage and longevity.

I used to love it and want it during my high school years. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford it back then and had to envy my classmate. I have it now but it lost its appeal. It is not a bad fragrance, but the magic is gone. It's fresh, watery, clean and pleasant but a bit naive maybe. It lacks depth and complexity. Or my nose changed? I used to smell the water lilly and the lilly of the valley and now I mostly get the pineapple. It is a very nice perfume but I am disappointed because I really used to love it.

A soft floral that I can always detect the sharpness of pineapple note in not tropical though works well with the florals not long lasting though maybe 2hrs must reapply. Nice for summer.

Light fruity floral fragrance! Most of all I feel the melon note in this light fragrance. I usually don't like such kind of fragrances, but this one is pleasant enough.

To my nose, Sergio Tacchini DONNA is a pleasant dried-floral composition with a typically Italian feeling similar to what I've encountered from the house of Lancetti. I've noticed that the solvents used in certain Italian perfumes have a specific quality that makes these perfumes seem rather similar to one another whatever the particular floral notes may be. In this composition I believe that some greener elements such as hyacinth are present, in addition to a bouquet of other low-key, dried flowers. DONNA is the first perfume that I've sniffed from the house of Sergio Tacchini, and I like it enough to want to explore their other offerings further, although I cannot say that DONNA really blows me away.

for me, its very very similar to o oui de lancome. nice, simple bottle, nice price, a perfect gift!

I love this perfume, I fell in love with it few years ago and it suits my skin totally! There are only few parfums my skin likes and Donna is one of them! Perfect! <3

Ohh . this i forgott that excisted. I deed have this i wild back . A fresh , citrusy ,musky scent. it was not my best by , but after all a good everyday fragrance . reamember wearing it for work . not so much fruit and vanilla as i loved . but a good clean scent

a scent for a woman, not a girl. a bit heavy for me, stuffling making me wanna wash it away

I'm a man, and I'm using this scent. Please don't get me wrong, but I found out it's suitable with man somehow! It's a big surprise that this scent was launched in 1988, and it is being produced up to now, enought to prove it is a really good scent, excellent, unique that I couldn't find an alternatives out there! It's on my top list of recommendation I love all the products by Sergio Tacchini! But I wonder why it's not really easy to find Sergio Tacchini products on the line :-s I had so much difficulties to have this Donna, and keep wondering what if I use it out :-s

A nice perfume, suitable for office.

I don't mind the short staying power, I don't mind it's launched many years ago, I feel myself discovered a gem. I really love this brand's perfumes, I have "feel good" and "stile donna" and I finally bought this too. I really enjoy it's light fruity scent, it's really fresh and with a hint of sweetness that makes me always sniff myself. It's so comfortable!

By now Donna has been in the market for two decades but it still makes a very modern instant impression. As if it was launched just a couple of years ago. It holds a timeless concoction of white flowers and a hint of delicious pineapple that adds its own zest and aroma into the fragrance. The outcome of these ingredients is a lovely and enjoyable perfume for young (or young-at-heart) women.
