It smells amazing amazing amazing, but for this price, I want more sillage and longevity. It's like a Victoria's Secret body spray. Yes, that weak. A pity, really. I will enjoy and use it while I have it, but will NOT repurchase.

This perfume is a sequence of good moments. I have to confess that I have Sisley, possibly quite unrighteously, categorized as generic Tuscan-mom-coded early-2000s luxury. I’m not even sure where this association came from. I think it might be my classmate’s mom from when I was in school. I wouldn’t say this perfume has a particularly unique profile, but it is really enjoyable and pretty. It’s not edgy, nothing irks me, it really has it all together and it feels very classic. I think I might have to reconsider my feelings about the brand. That being said, I’m so happy my nose finally got a break from the terrible gourmands that seem to rule the perfume world right now. With Izia, my nose went on vacation to a wonderful fresh floral garden, full of luminous, crisp beauty. I really hope the gourmand era is over soon and we get to see some more interesting floral experiments. Izia is very sophisticated, mature and poised. A really lovely fragrance.

I love it, but I already have Peonia Nobile by Aqua di Parma which has most of the same notes. The thing about Izia is that it smells awesome in summer, whereas Peonia turns cloying in hot summer months. But, come fall they will be indistinguishable. They are both fresh florals, very feminine, so very uplifting.

The opening is a bright, sharp slap of citrus and then it quickly turns into a citrus-y slightly aldehydic rose. The rose is fresh, slightly green and refreshing. I personally don’t care for the strong citrus in this- but the longer it’s on skin, the more it settles so the rose can shine a little more. The dry down is beautiful, I just can’t get past the opening.

I bought this perfume straight away. it is particularly a Rose perfume. the 'rose found in the garden of Countess Isabelle d’Ornano (founder of the Sisley house) that blooms once a year for a very short time'. this Rose has a lovely scent and it evolves throughout the duration of the perfume. you begin with a Chanel Rose, lovely citronnesque, and yet she Trumpets simultaneously heady and sultry, but after some time the Rose becomes more like dried Rose Petals, even toward Pot Pourri. but this characteristic makes the perfume solely more alluring. I can truly understand why Elena Knezevic writes: 'Calling For A Rose' yet to my nose Roses never disappear. (I go read her article next.) it is the same as with Vero.Kerns 'Rozy'. also an even dusty, dry and immediately powdery Rose. and Izia has the same vibe as Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Fizzy and Sparkling due to the Aldehydes. Rose, Jasmine and Lily of the Valley make the link with Chanel solide. then the Angelica with the Pink Pepper give this perfume piquantsy. Floral Notes and Peony offer yet more floralcy. yesterday the Pink Pepper suddenly intruded my nose almost to sneezing. I love all Peppers as well in Perfume as I like them to eat... (Madame Jeanette.) but there is not one note, perhaps chocolat, which turns Gourmand to me. I hate Gourmand perfumes. that was my dilemma with Thierry Mugler's Angel. I had such big flacon and loved the perfume yet I easily gave it away (twice). here there is nowhere Gourmand Territory in sight. the Aldehydes and (I suppose) White Musks are doing their thang. (if I can really smell them is a second question.) the perfume lasts for Medium Time. so the Amber would be as imaginable as imaginative. yet I still love the Gal and there is 20% left. her Dark Sister I love better. yet I adore Her too.

An early love in my fragrance journey and to this day it remains one of my favorite roses. The rose note is incredibly true to life, like a dewy fresh garden of roses on a perfect day, cool air but warmth from the sun. On my skin the aldehydes really don’t pull soapy at all but just serve to keep the florals and citrus incredibly fresh and glowy. No powder, no soap, no grandma, no body spray, no gourmand, just a citrus rose exactly as it should be that warms and opens up to a woodier, muskier base with time to keep your attention. Absolutely an easy reach for spring/summer.

Truly glad I only paid for a sample, because this smells absolutely horrible on my skin. The opening was genuinely exciting bright bergamot, sharp pink pepper, and that aldehydic lift that had me hopeful. But the dry-down was a real gut punch. The best way I can describe it is the water at the bottom of a vase after a bouquet has been left to rot for a week. Green, stagnant, decomposing with an obnoxious pink pepper and bitter citrus peel cutting through it all making it even less wearable. I get virtually no rose, which is tragic given it’s supposed to be the heart of this fragrance. There’s the faintest whisper of it in the very far background but it’s completely swallowed by whatever is going wrong underneath. I’m fairly certain this is a skin chemistry issue on my end angelica is a notoriously polarising note and on more acidic skin it has a tendency to pull that rotting greenery direction rather than the fresh garden it’s likely intended to be. On the right skin I imagine this is beautiful. On me it is genuinely unwearable. A sad pass from me. The opening had so much potential.

This is nice. Makes you smell so clean and fresh. Leaves a good impression.

This is absolutely amazing! Captivated me from the first try; it is an exceptionally beautiful rose perfume. Rose like no other - very very opulent, jammy but so so luxurious. I love this! It is bright, but also dense, and mystical at the same time as being bright. The rose is straightforward, a prominent note here. There is sweetness in the scent, but it is more like a floral natural sweetness that does not feel artificial and too much. Amazing scent!!! The longevity is phenomenal! Lasts all day and longer!

This is the closest thing to the original Gucci Flora I could find. It leans a bit more citrusy and fresh, which is not really my taste, but otherwise very close match.

Truly a hidden gem, I think I smelled every citrus on the market on my way to finding this, and it truly was perfect. I don't get the "rose" of it all; to me, it's a sparkly citrus with a mild floral/aldehydic drydown. Perfect for every day. Everything I wish Chanel fragrances were

It’s love at 1st snif. It’s so elegant and chic while being refreshing, it’s the most beautiful blend of a rose scent and citrus. It definitely opens very fresh and bright then get warmer but not too much, just enough to give more character to it’s citrusy flavor. On top of that the bottle design is unique and modern, it looks like an art piece that you could find a museum. I love everything about this perfume it’s such a good representative of great taste and chic I didn’t expect this from Sisley, it could have been easily something from Hermes. Im really impressed! It’s a little bit on the expensive side but it worths every penny.

This is really and truly awful on my skin. Nauseating. I smelled it in store and it was so lovely, they were having a sale and it was a beautiful day and i bought it. To my horror it smells like toilet in the process of a deep clean on my skin.

I have to admit, I am usually more of a gourmand type of girl, but this perfume is amazing. I wear my gourmands all day, but when I go somewhere at night like a club or a bar, this is the perfume I will be wearing. It is so unique and so intoxicating that it will have people's heads turning. I cannot even tell you what I think this smells like because all of the notes blend so perfectly together that it will have you grasping for more. I ran out of my bottle and cannot afford another so I've been in mourning.

I can smell the rose and the lemon, but to my nose this smells strongly like tea. I love the freshness and how interesting. Plus, the rose here is quite unusual smelling for a rose perfume, but in a good way.

Izia is my all time favorite perfume. I have it in multiple sizes so that I never leave the house without it! I only buy it on sale tho! The opening is a fresh, citrusy bergamot with soapy aldehydes. Then you get a clean peony and rose smell. The lily gives it a dewy, wet quality (if you love lilly you know what I’m talking about!) There is a slight hint of jasmine after a few hours as it settles into a muskier, sweeter scent. Perfectly tart and sweet, musky and woody, dewy and crisp. Reminds me of champagne and parties. I’m completely nose blind to pink pepper but one time someone told me that I smelled spicy while I was wearing this. Izia is the brightest, freshest, dewiest rose. My favorite scent in the whole wide world.

I'm the biggest fan of gourmands, but when I came across Izia for the first time, I fell in love. It's all that I love about roses - fresh, clean, bright. The citrus notes make this perfume smell like a growing rose in a green garden. It's expensive, but the sillage is amazing and it lasts, so it's definitely worth it. It's winter now but I'm really excited to see how it smells in hotter weather!

Анонім

Smells like lemons soaked in sugar syrup and rum - very delicious! It is refreshing from the citrus but also sweet and spicy enough to wear in fall. There is also subtle musk and woodiness so it is complex and interesting and seems to be developing over time.

Very pretty fragrance, bright and happy, a bit green to my nose. I was thinking about a full size bottle but it is very similar to Blouse Rose & Angelique perfume by YSL, which I own- same notes in both: pink pepper and bergamot at opening, rose, angelique flower, musk. I love the bottle - by itself is a piece of glass art. I have hard time resisting buying Izia.

I first came across Izia years ago in Debenhams (back when it was still a thing!). I’m not usually a rose fan, but when it’s done right, it’s magic… and Izia is magic. It’s sparkling and effervescent, like champagne and fresh roses with a touch of citrus. Tart, luminous, yet grounded in warmth. Truly beautiful and unique. Projection is strong for several hours, excellent sillage. Longevity easily hits 8+ hours, especially on clothing. You’ll be noticed!

Not a Rose scents lover, but if you are, this is probably one of the best out there

I absolutely love it. Warm but not sweet fragrance, more on the fresh side. Great for summer but I wear it also in winter, it turns on my skin less citrusy in cold days. It lasts incredibly long. Reminds me of Dior Dune - may be due to bergamot, amber, aldehydes, jasmine and rose/rosewood. Izia is just a bit more fresh and flowery, Dune is woody and more dry. But the same vibes.

A lush, shining bergamot and rosy pink pepper opening create a citrusy, fruity rose. Then, rose is flanked by peony, jasmine, lily, and angelica. A lush, fruity floral dominated by a citrusy rose. It's yummy, almost edible. It seems like the juicy citrus dominates the rose here, which is a nice change of pace. It's almost a sweet rose lemonade. A bit of musk supports the fruity rose. Then, musk, cedar, and amber come in and really allow the fruity, tart rose to shine brighter and deeper, becoming more resonant and filled out. It's still a bit too tart for me. Then, it starts to become very piercing and synthetic and absolutely ruins the whole thing.

I wore this the other day and it is still one of my absolute favorites. I just love it. It is so well composed and has such a bright clean extroverted feeling, without feeling too innocent, too sweet, too sexy, too complicated. For me it projects feminine strength and fortitude without being masculine, without being snobby. It is like when the sun emerges after the storm and you are like ok i made it! And i smell great!

Izia is like a far wing in the Chanel family. Not very close but a second cousin. I bought a full bottle because through the years I developed a habit to always keep a day-to-day scent that have to be an easy breezy rose. I ran out of my beloved Roses de Chloe and Izia is a perfect substitution, my number one daytime scent now. It is unnecessary to analyze, I agree with everyone who did it and came up with a positive review :) This perfume is the typical case of 'If You Know You Know'. Cannot make a mistake if you are a fan of rose and citrus scents and if quality and elegance is your thing.

Анонім

I find Izia very playful and different from conventional pink pepper-bergamot-rose fragrances. The initial scent is spicy and peppery, almost like a spiced melon. It gradually becomes cherry-like with surprising complexity; when combined with other fragrances, it can be citrusy or even like a clean scent. I used to hate this fragrance, but trying it again after a few years made me realize it's more unique than I thought. Can pull herbal though.

This opens like a bergamot bomb. The opening is a no go for me. As it settles it becomes a Chloe like rose. Not unpleasant but nothing special.

This is a refined, modern chypre centered on a sophisticated rose. With a fresh, aldehydic opening and a woody, musky base, it exudes elegance and quiet intensity— floral transparency with structured depth. A serious, poised fragrance.
