I ordered this on a second hand site and it came today! I love the original and figured I would like this too! I wasn’t wrong! I love it!! There’s a snow storm outside and it looks like a winter wonderland and It’s perfect for this time of year! Warm, cozy and sexy! I see resemblance to black opium (which ironically was my scent of the day), the Only one, a bit of la Nuit Tresor and taste of kiss, or Zara gardenia. If you like those, I think you’ll like this! This does not smell exactly like them, but are definitely in the same family. I find this less sweet and less floral. I haven’t been able to find this in store or online other than second hand, and sadly the bottle leaked in transit. It was already a partial bottle and now it’s only about 1/4 full. I’ll definitely enjoy the little left. If you can find this, I’m envious! I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

Without a doubt my favorite Sofia Vergara perfume. Love brings me back so many happy memories of wearing this in my late teens. It's cozy, it's feminine, and it makes you feel like a love Goddess wearing it. It's a perfect warm up scent for winter, and takes me back to when I was going on my first dates, when my mom would pick me up from the library on a cold winter day, and when I'd wear short black dresses with flowers, a big comfy hoodie and high top sneakers. Makes me feel young and brings a tear to my eye 🥲

It’s just Ok. I would not compare to Black Opium. I Don’t understand why this is going for outrageous amounts on Ebay…like more than Black Opium which is highly superior. It’s very sweet but doesn’t last. I paid $27 for mine a few years ago and it was worth that price.

Idk. This is decently gross. I ended up getting this by accident and I kept it. At first I couldn’t smell a single thing and I tossed it into my closet just to get it out my sight..when I went there to declutter a few months later I sprayed it and I could finally smell the notes. Still just meh. So so so synthetic. Weirdly sourish on first spritz, overtime you start to smell the most chemical coffee. The comparisons to black opium are borderline disrespectful..it’s like black opium if you ate it as a meal and burped.

I have the body spray of this. At first I couldn't smell it, but my husband could. It's nice, it smells like coffee scented cotton candy.

I wasn't crazy about this perfume at first, but I love it now. Sweet, but not cloying. The coffee and fruit notes adds a bit of a tart or sour edge. Yet, it still smells dark and sensual to me. Unfortunatly, the longevity isn't the best on me personally--but it's not terrible. The scent clings better on a scarf than my skin.

As soon as I saw that photo of Sofia Vergara above the main accords I knew this scent had to be nice and I was right! The first time I smelled it I felt like I was in a powdery amber-wood heaven but for some reason the second time I tried it was very rubbing alcohol-ish which gave me a small headache (which was weird because it's not very overpowering ) but it eventually went back to smelling great again. It reminds me of going on a really great date with a guy and having him lose interest in you over time but I'd be lying if I said that it didn't smell a bit good! :)

Inoffensive and sweet. Good scent for the price, but poor performance. It’s like the younger sister of black opium. Wouldn’t repurchase.

My most complimented perfume ever, without fail every time i wear this people tell me how good I smell. I’m gutted it’s been discontinued 😞

This snent is so unique and amazing

Wow this is so addictive. Very much an in-between of Black Opium and Jimmy Choo Illicit, and in fact might be my preferred of the 3. Definitely opens like a lighter black opium and moves into a deeper Illicit. I thought the passionfruit in the opening might throw me off but I don't actually notice it, so it's a perfect mixture. It also reminds me of Britney Spears Private Show and Fancy by Jessica Simpson, like the 3 are in the same family but not dupes.

This scent is light, sweet, and a bit powdery. I smell a bit of every note. I wear this to bed but it definitely can be worn out. It's strong enough.

Purchased a sample. Bad with my skin. No coffee to speak of, just a heavy, slightly sour note that was very pervasive. It smelt like it would have been nice on someone else, just not me!

I love this! ❤️ It's so sweet and wonderful, yummy. I have the body spray, I order one bottle as a blind buy and now I have ordered two more as back ups because I never wanna run out of them. And it doesn't smell like Black Opium at all to me, I don't understand that comparison and I don't understand the bad reviews. It reminds me a little bit of Paris Hilton's Can Can which I also love. If you love sweet perfumes with a little bit of fruitiness, I can recommend this. Very sexy and lovely, it's my signature scent from now on :)

I cannot believe I am going to write this but reader--in all honesty--this is straight up pineapple on me. nothing else. nothing to so with black opium, just straight up juicy summer pineapple/ someone please tell me im not crazy lol

This is the black opium in poverty. The coffee and vanilla very profound, I dont smell orange blossom but something flowery probably the orchid or magnolia, the bottomline is sweet flower. The projection is intimate, the scent bubble is not even arms length and the longevity on skin less than 4 hours but can survive 9 to 5 working hours when sprayed on cloth. Overall lovely scent but the quality is explaining the cheap price.

This is a lovely scent on first spray and, in theory, I love it. But there is ZERO sillage or longevity. It almost literally disappears the instant you spray it. I sprayed at least 15 times and my husband said he still couldn't smell it unless he put his nose right on me. It's sad because it is a nice scent otherwise.

I have the smallest size bottle which can fit in my handbag. This is an interesting fragrance. I have never smelled Black Opium so I can't compare it to that one the way everyone else who has smelled Black Opium does. To me this is a sweet but mature womanly evening formal fragrance, sexy and classy, fruity-floral musk. It does not make a statement but it is very different from most celeb fragrances. It's just a very warm and elegant scent that I wish could last longer. The sillage and longevity could be better. At the first spray, I picked up the fruity maracuya note. It's a passion flower or passion fruit that is native to Brazil and South America including also Central America i.e. Costa Rica. If you're familiar with this fruit and flower you will definitely detect something that is trying to recreate that scent. It's both fruity and floral, like a sweet berry and floral mix. The berry is delicious. It comes through as girly sweet in the way that the Victoria Secret perfumes are like i.e. think Bombshell. In fact the opening is similar and shares notes of red berries and PASSION FRUIT the same passion fruit (maracuya) note that is in this scent. It's delicious but this is more like putting your nose to the flower and the fruit and a real strong pairing of both the fruit and the floral aroma. The floral heart consists of what I detect as a jasmine and some other white floral note in the background; I think the magnolia. The orris root or iris is also clearly there giving it a powdery body. But it's not too powdery either; slightly floral powdery. The flowers are faint and way in the background. The real flower that stands out in this perfume is the passion flower in the fruity top note. The scent stays strongly fruity floral for a while until you reach the dry down stage. By this time the scent has stopped being so fruity loud and calmed down becoming a gourmand mix with praline and a warm coffee scent. The praline is smooth and nutty but not the big player. There may be a warm dark vanilla or tonka bean in this but it's also not a big player. The coffee note is the key to the dry down. The coffee is more like the ground coffee that is not yet a drinkable liquid; like putting your nose to the ground coffee itself. The musk is very strong and it is cozy and warm. Like your skin but warmed up with musk. I don't detect any other base notes. Maybe a touch of wood somewhere down there but it is primarily a musk dry down. Smells beautiful. This is a winter and fall scent and asks you to put on a sexy black cocktail dress or romantic formal wear. The scent is definitely for women over the age of 30. I think at times it may be unisex in the way some fragrances like Tom Ford can be unisex or Alien by Mugler but to me the top notes are so much like Victoria Secret Bombshell that it makes this to lean more feminine than unisex. It's exotic, sweet, musky and very much a perfume that if you smell it on someone you'll want to get to know that person better. A very good 'smell me and date me' fragrance. I am wearing it tomorrow at a date on the first day of the year. Happy New Year. You gotta try this!

Extremely sweet, best to wear in cold weather Imo. Because I like Sofia the original bottle and find it signature scent worthy, I thought I would really like Love too, I had no choice but to blind buy the bottle. This does not last more than an hour on me, I don’t even get a scent bubble, it turns to a skin scent very quickly. As it’s extremely sweet to start off with, but settles. I actually don’t mind that it doesn’t last that long, because I don’t think I would be able to hack wearing it all day, if the silage was stronger.I had this in my perfume for while, but always stay away from it because of how sweet it is. (I think that this would be quite easy to finish as it doesn’t last it doesn’t project so getting through the bottle may be easy, that’s if I don’t get bored of it as it’s sooo sweet. It’s almost hard to believe that this is a scent for a grown woman/lady, it gives me early 20s or vibes. I have started layering it with BO or Britney Spears provocative, just to give the perfume more depth.

This is a great choice if you're looking for a unique & sexy celeb fragrance. If you are on a budget no need to worry because this scent just reminds me of a rich woman smell. It's also not your run of the mill sweet fruity celeb fragrances. Yes a lot like black opium in the sense that it's a coffee/fruity/light floral scent, so if you have that already I don't think you need this. Also my only thing about it is it does smell good but I kinda feel like it can be a little bit bland in the category of femme fatale coffee fragrances. And it kinda has that "mall perfume" scent if you know what I mean. This one is just a little bit blended not as well but also you get what you pay for and for the price it is a great choice overall with good longevity.

I'm more convinced than ever that there are just HUGE inconsistencies in production(as I stated in my last review). Some people, like myself, have bottles that are very strong and project really well. And last forever, esp on my clothes. Then you see the reviews and it's all over the place. Makes no sense unless it's a production issue. Ultimately though, this perfume is discontinued and going for ridiculous prices. So it doesn't even matter much now I guess.

I am gutted I don't love this more. Based on all the notes, reviews, and video's this is right up my alley. I finally managed to snag a bottle for a decent price, and I gotta say, it does NOT live up to ANY OF THE HYPE - FOR ME personally. I've gotta quit getting sucked into the hype train. To start, this fragrance is way too soft for my liking, sits way too close to the skin. For being a gourmand, it's actually quite light. This has a black opium vibe but it's definitely not a dupe. It's not nearly as strong, or as sweet, or as polarizing. This fragrance is just so soft compared to black opium. If you want one that isn't as loud or as sweet, this would be a great option. Also, it doesn't really project, or last past 2/4 hours. Which was a huge bummer for me. This isn't worth splurging the extra money on if I need to constantly reapply it. Don't get me wrong, this is a pretty, feminine, soft fragrance. But it's just not an absolute love for me, personally. I like a fragrance that makes a big statement, like an extrovert. I like something to be loud, exciting, and quite noticable. But saddly, this fragrance is an introvert, in a bottle. It's shy, quiet, and doesn't like to be the center of attention. I ended up purchasing the body mist, and it was the exact same issue. Weak, soft, and really really mild. I actually gifted this fragrance to my sister, and she fell in love with it. She had mentioned on her skin, this fragrance wore really well. So it must be a body chemistry thing

I tested Sofia Love body spray the other day, and to my GREAT surprise it was a win. Interestingly, I got few of the notes listed here. The guava hardly shows. Guava seldom works on me, as in Britney Spears style guava. Instead, I smell sugared berries and orchid, as another reviewer noted. The praline I can believe, if only because of the sweetness, but coffee never arrived. Overall, if you tested this fragrance based on the notes you may not be impressed, but I AM. Why? For a body spray, this has excellent performance. I took a bath several hours later, and 8 hours after that it was still faintly on my hand! It may or may not be the average tester's conclusion. However, to me this is Great value for a body spray, even if I frankly prefer Fancy (pear is better than berries on me!) as my celebrity gourmand of choice. This experience makes me want to test the original Sofia.... If all body sprays behaved like this one, the world would be a better place. :D

Got a tester of this in a coffee-themed sample set and I was underwhelmed. The opening is a very fresh, uplifting citrus scent (reminds me of burberry the beat or JPG classique x), which I wasn't expecting in a coffee/praline fragrance. Once this dries down I can't say there is much coffee, but I definitely get praline. The citrusy top notes disappear entirely to form a sweeter, more gourmand, scent. I wouldn't say it's that sweet though, and it has a slight smoky quality. Unfortunately this barely lasts or projects at all. It projects in the first hour and by the second hour it's barely perceptible on my skin. I gave it a good few sprays so that's not the issue, this just isn't a strong fragrance. Overall it's forgettable and there's nothing special about it to me. There are many better coffee/gourmand fragrances out there. I also find it a bit unappealing that the opening and the drydown are so drastically different. It doesn't "match", if you know what I mean. So unless you've tested this and you love it, I'd say you can give this one a miss.

This isn’t my favorite fragrance but it works on those days where you are running errands and just plain doing not much. It’s a very sweet almost too sweet on me but yet not bad. I think the coffee note in it makes it tolerable. Do not get me wrong it isn’t bad at all just kinda of average. I am glad I have it in my collection it works for those blah days. It doesn’t last too long on me maybe 3 to 4 hours that’s about it and sillage around that time sits close to skin. It’s generally an ok fragrance. I’ve noticed it’s hard to come by now but really not worth the extra coin at all! Just get Fancy or anything by Paris Hilton or Aqualina Pink Sugar and you’re close to it! Recommended if you really need it 4/10!!!

Love is definitely a scent I do not love. For me, this is a little better than the original which I did not like one bit and took forever to disappear (it had that cassis oakmoss type of scent). This one opens a little better but I can still feel that oakmoss cassis scent (even though it is not listed anywhere) that reminds me of mould and makes me feel down. I feel like that is an aspect people do not talk enough about and that is why a lot of people think they are going to love it due to the awesome listed notes but end up feeling them very superficially and get whiffs of oakmoss that they cannot pin point. When it dries down it becomes way more pleasant but because I have to endure a really long time before that oakmoss scent disappears and the fragrance does not last all day for the remaining time to be worth it to enjoy the fragrance I end up never reaching for this beyond the times I force myself to try to like it. Longevity is 4-6h. I am trying to sell it or gift it to someone else. 5.5/10

Smells similar to Wakeheart Ethan Dolan, i.e. Black Opium mixed with public bathroom soap. Something about it doesn’t sit right with my nose

A gorgeous scent from a gorgeous lady <3 It smells so great, like coffee liqueur. The passionfruit blended really nicely with the coffee for that first spray. Dry down is fabulous too, it leaves you with a hint of vanilla flavored coffee. Love!!
