Cassiopea

so i caved in and bought it after a no buy for almost a year - it smells divine. the dna of erba pura, kirke, andromeda, jardin exclusif is there - clean musk base with slightly artificial fruits on top, but here this mix smells a lot more creamy, soft, yet refreshing - so beautiful in summer weather, extremely feminine. as a child my favorite fragrance was fantasy by britney spears and now after wearing this i do see the similarity. the same magic is there in both scents. i remember when i smelled fantasy (at age 7-8) i felt like it was the most beautiful thing i've ever smelled. it was my signature scent until 17. now im getting the same feeling smelling this smell perfumes on your own, dont read reviews and find your loved perfume without having bias from someone else! LOVE

I love ts one. There’s actually not many Tiziana Terenzi’s that I enjoy, but this creamy passionfruit/musk/tonka bean scent is different. It’s soft, almost powdery, clean and fruity smell. It opens up with a DNA most people know from Kirkè, but WAY smoother. Imagine the most beautiful woman standing in front of you in the night time under the Y can smell her from far away. She smells addictive, playful but also inviting and comforting. She is wearing Tiziana Terenzi Cassiopea.

Very nice fruity and creamy fragrens

well, after scouring the internet, I was finally able to locate a sample of Cassiopea. If I had realized this had a strong ozonic (marine) note which is not listed here on Fragrantica, I wouldn't have bothered. I might really enjoy the scent were it not for this harsh synthetic note. I've never found this calone note to smell oceanic at all. How about if someone made some tropical, beachy smelling perfumes without adding marine notes?

If a mischievous forest fairy decided to ditch the muddy moss, get a high-end blowout and attempt to blend into polite society, she would smell exactly like Cassiopea. The opening is incredibly bright, clean, playful, almost sparkling; with a twist that keeps you guessing and could never be boring. Its whimsical, it's pristine it's got jusssst enough ethereal magic to make people wonder if you actually possess some sort of supernatural charms. FOR ME it's a 9.4/10 WOULD fly off into the sunset again.

Similar to mind games lionara, with nuance of course. There's more lactones in lionara for a warmer drydown that's slightly gourmand, where cassiopea is more floral...so it depends on the vibe someone is aiming for. I have gotten many compliments on both, but honestly moreso on Lionara. Idc, cassiopea has by hear more! It's gorgeous and feminine, perfect for a wedding or any occasion where you're looking and feeling your best self!

Reviewing an EDP sample from 2024. Cassiopea was launched in 2015. Cassiopea is a generic fruity floral. It opens with a sweet chemical blast of Ethyl Maltol. This is followed by non descript fruity notes. The florals are mostly carnation and some rose; I cannot detect LOTV. Synthetic coumarin and ambermusk base. Not tropical or interesting except for fans Of Britanny Spears Fantasy who may wish to ?upgrade to this at about 300 Euros. Quality 1/5 Feminine Performance 2/5 for an Extrait de Parfum (ok sillage, top notes are emphereal, synthetic base is tenacious) Forgetable fruity floral of which there are thousands out there at a better price. 5/10

One of my absolute favorites. Cassiopea smells like being at a luxurious tropical resort, while you’re fresh out of the shower, hair still smelling like fruity shampoo, just laying in the sun. It has that clean, juicy sweetness that feels really comforting and a bit addictive. People say it smells like an elevated version of Britney Spears’ Fantasy, and I actually agree but this feels more grown up without losing that playful, fruity vibe. I’m honestly obsessed with this one.

I bought 10 samples of this brand and I hated most of them except for this one and Delox. Kirke specifically was super loud and harsh and I was bummed out until I sniffed Cassiopeia. It smells beautiful — fruity and juicy but not loud and screechy like Kirke. I've been looking for the perfect fruity shampooey scent and I think I found it. Bought a full bottle.

I seem to have a certain pattern that I stubbornly refuse to listen to. Let me explain. There have already been four occasions when a perfume I ordered was never shipped: the order was canceled and, of course, the money was refunded. And every single time, I still went ahead and reordered the same perfumes. In the end, I did receive them - and I was deeply disappointed. All four times. It’s as if the Universe was telling me: “Darling, you don’t need this perfume. Here’s your money - take it and move on.” But no - I wanted those perfumes, so I kept trying to order them again. And then I ended up upset. Now let’s move on to Cassiopea by Tiziana Terenzi. I had heard that this fragrance doesn’t contain any amber-woody materials, I liked the name (how silly, right?), and I wanted it. As I already mentioned, the first time my order was canceled and the money was refunded. But I ordered it again. And finally, I received the long-awaited perfume. I unpacked it, sprayed it, inhaled - and I was instantly thrown back in time. A year ago, I was in a store where a pink orb of Fantasy by Britney Spears was standing behind glass. It was completely covered in dust, but brand new - no one had sprayed it before me. I asked the salesperson to take it out of its glass “imprisonment” and let me try the tester. I applied it to my arm, went outside, and took a breath. To me, it smelled tropical, shampoo-like, sweet, with an unpleasant bitterness - as if slightly rancid. I tried it and thought: okay, now I know what Fantasy smells like. And today, after unpacking Cassiopea, I inhale it - and I’m taken back to that exact same moment when I smelled Fantasy. The same unpleasant bitterness, the same chemical quality. I couldn’t believe it. When I checked the “similar fragrances” section, I saw that Cassiopea is indeed compared to that very scent - a perfume that costs less than $10 a bottle. Cassiopea has no sillage and no development. A complete disappointment. Now I don’t even know what to do with it. I don’t need this kind of fragrance.

Cold here where im at. everything feels densed and soggy. this one just uplift my spirit bringing me somewhere warm and with fresh fruits everywhere. clean, powdery, simple, fresh outta shower and ready to get a smoothie kinda vibe. love it.

This smells like a cheap car air freshener. The passion fruit and fern are a bad combo. Yuck! 🤢. Then dried down to a boring bland faint vanilla powdery sweetness.

I am not sure if I like it or not, I bought it after a day of smelling different samples. It is more of a summer scent for me, I get a lot of passion fruit in the beginning, with a nice sweet dry down, almost like a mango ice cream on the skin. Not bad, but not my type of perfumes, I am more of a green/fresh/aquatic type.

I wore this two weeks straight on a Caribbean cruise and it was perfect! 🍓🍎🍓🍌🍒🍊🍍🍋🍇🍉🥝 Initial Blast of “Jolly Ranchers” that settles into a clean fruity shampoo. Juicy, fresh, sweet, and fun while not feeling juvenile. Great lasting power and projection.

Fruity, pretty, forgettable

I know the passionfruit is there, but to me this is all lily of the valley. beautiful but not worth it to me, as far as longevity/sillage.

I’m sorry but either Erba Pura smells like this, or this smells like Erba Pura… either way, they feel related. I love passion fruit; both its sweetness and its slight bitterness but here the scent feels a bit shampoo-like and quite sugary. That sugar level did me in. I had put this sample aside before, decided to give it another chance, and… no, still not for me. In short: for those who enjoy sweet, fruity, shampoo-like fragrances, this could be a good option. It’s very long-lasting and has strong projection.

This is delightfully wearable. Fruity but not too sweet or juicy--this is definitely perfume. I would say feminine but not too girly which is a deal killer for me. Not overpowering but also not overly shy. The floral elements are quite nice.

As you are stepping on the elevator, a woman is taking her ride down from the penthouse suite. She looks to be 40-45 year old. She is freshly showered, about to start her day with her morning 2-mile run (yes, she showers always before she leaves the house... even to exercise). She is wearing athleisure of the finest quality - understated and brandless... even though you know her simple white T-shirt costs $80. She walks off the elevator and you are left feeling like you just walked through the finest spa. There is a clean, crisp, enlightened smell. Maybe it's what white smells like? But sweeter. Later, you discover her husband's net worth is multiple millions of dollars. He owns mansion that hugs over the cliffs and opens wide to the Pacific ocean. Like her... this is mature (not in a bad way), self-assured, well placed together, clean always. Though insanely different as far as it's wear and notes... the women who will wear this may also wear Xerjoff Dama Bianca. She is a more understated, subtle and youthful energy of the same type of image. She is the 25-30 year old. I like this scent... but I'm just not the woman.

Very pleasant blend. Mild mannered and feminine. Youthful but not juvenile. I might sample again but probably won't buy a bottle.

it started out very nice-- clean, sweet and shampoo-y but i got sick of it fast. ended up smelling cheap and headache inducing

I did not believe when people said it was like Fantasy, I have both fragrances here and they were right!. The dry down of Cassiopea smells just like Fantasy! It is more complex, slightly more fruity, but I'm sticking with my Fantasy.

Sweat-pea by Bath and body works: overpriced perfume version

My go-to perfume, it’s feminine, it’s fresh (soapy type of fresh), it’s giving you’re bathing with luxurious soap. It’s creamy-fruity, not bright juicy fruity. Ignore the fragantica reviewers that thinks so highly of themselves and trash every perfume, they probably smells like poo because they’re too cool for any ‘textbook pleasing perfume’ so they go around smelling like 600-dollars vomit with a twist. Though I think the DNA is acceptable for almost everyone, and somehow familiar, It’s not that common amongst popular options, so you can make this as your signature scent without being overly unique and hard to understand; in another word, people will instantly love it.

It's 2002. I'm wearing a skirt suit and getting ready for work. I put on a heavy 1980s floral perfume. On my drive into work I spill half a cup of coffee on myself. I had flavored it with maple and added a good amount of milk and sugar. Now I will smell vaguely like sour milky syrup and generic perfume all day. That's Cassiopeia.

I wanted to love this, but there is a note in here that doesn’t agree with me. Unfortunately, I found this headache inducing. I agree with another reviewer- this is not a safe blind buy. 04/27/25 Edit: I came here to say-Man oh man did this change. I’m not sure what it was but this is actually really beautiful. It smells very clean, soapy and zesty, but in an elegant way. Definitely one of those that you have to try a couple times of your nose reacts the way mine did at first sniff.

A more refined version of Fantasy. I bought samples of 6 TT fragrances and this was the only one that didn’t have the gross musk dry down. Like others have said, this doesn’t last long. Just buy Fantasy lol.

The longevity is terrible. The company should be ashamed of themselves for selling toilet water as a Parfum.
