Why does the smell of this immediately make me think of Hempz brand Floral Banana shower gel and lotion???? Instant love! After I have a chance of doing more of a wear test, I'll likely end up buying a full sized bottle

Tocca Florence is very sweet, though not in a bad way. It's not something I would reach for every day, but I think it would make the perfect vacation fragrance. I can picture myself wandering around the Ligurian coast, wearing this and catching little wafts of it throughout the day. It's very feminine, and I definitely pick up the juicy pear. If I overspray, though, it gives me a headache, so a light hand is essential. There's also something about it that reminds me of the original Lolita Lempicka, though I can't quite put my finger on why.

I love the white floral in this, it makes me for like a cat in catnip. I can't stop smelling it. My signature scent used to be Michael Kors Michael Kors until this de-throwned it. Before that I used to love Amarige, so it feels like kind of a story arc for me - I love white floral but want to be modern. The pear, apple, and musk is jusssst enough to smell like a pretty shampoo in the background. So it smells fresh like a shower, instead of heavy like the 90's aldehydes. This could easily be a daily wear, it fits on the weekend or in the office, or in the park, or running errands. Just pretty, polished, classic.

I used to own this and am thinking of picking up another bottle. It's incredibly beautiful, heady, and sweet, and as someone who tends to love both gardenia and sweet fragrances, this one really delivers.

I personally love gardenia and bought this perfume essentially for that reason. It's very white floral forward, but the other notes blend very well into the gardenia. Would recommend for spring and summer, but gardenia to me also feels very cozy and warm for transitioning into the night and autumn.

Gardenia, but it's stunted in a way that smells like it's soured. I often don't like pear in fragrances. This is sheer, but the scent is not lovely on my skin. Sour and odd. Pass. (but I may try again in cooler weather...) Try if: you enjoy pear notes and your florals to be hints rather than full blooms.

Turns out I really dislike gardenia. Feel gaslit by all the positive reviews. In general, it’s like days old flowers in water that needs changing. Hard no.

Hands down, one of the best white floral fragrances of all-time. I grew into this fragrance. I didn’t always love it, and when it came out in 2006 I was only 21 years old, and felt it was too old for me then. Fast forward 20 years and I’m in love. My skin blooms this fragrance. It is perfect for humidity and the summer warmth. I could picture this on a bride. The tocca bottles are breathtaking. Carved glass, old world rustic stoppers. Just a vintage vibe.

Personally one of my favorite fragrances I’ve ever gotten. This will be an odd review and I don’t think others will agree with me but it genuinely is such a nostalgia revoker for me. It’s a very clean, flowery, pure scent. The gardenia is extremely strong and it’s the first thing you’ll pick up in a fragrance like this. It reminds me of liminal space. Specifically a hotel. I used to live by a lot of casinos as a kid and it reminded me a lot of when you’d walk down the halls and could smell the fragrant air trying to cover up the cigarette smoke from lingering passerbys. I also personally get a soft almost aquatic note in there but that’s just me, it reminds a lot of a fountain in the reception area. Very very liminal space for me.

I get a shampooey apple over bouquets and bouquets of white lilies and tuberoses; with distinct, stemmy greenness over white musk. Very pleasant, feminine, flowy, with an air of old money glamour. If album covers were representative of fragrances, this would be "chemtrails over the country club" by lana del rey.

I am devoted to floral perfumes. 'Florence' is one of my favorite floral fragrances. I loved it from the moment I first encountered it. The only gripe I have is that I wish it lasted longer on me, which is a common theme for all of the Tocca fragrances. Other than that, it is a delightful fragrance.

I absolutely love this scent from TOCCA! I have searched for a floral scent with all my faves: Gardenia, Iris, Jasmine and this one is it and it has a perfect blend of fruitiness to it as well. I also didn't hear my kids or husband say it is a "Grandma" scent! I am a grandma but I like to smell like I still feel and that is young at heart! I will be finding a full size of this!

I love floral scents, but they usually give me a headache or make me sneeze. However, i can wear this in small doses and be okay. The florals are beautiful, super green and feel realistic.

This is a very classy white floral reminiscent of a fancy garden party with tea, set in a blooming garden the morning after a heavy rain. It starts off dainty and crisp with a watery pear and apple note. The grapefruit leaves give it a nice hit of greenness, and the bergamot actually makes the top notes smell like tea. It’s really well-blended and fem. The heart is very gardenia forward; it’s photorealistic, dewy, and creamy.... very feminine and lush. The tuberose adds a buttery, almost bubblegum-sweet richness to it, while the violet leaves give it a cucumber water freshness so it doesn't get too heavy. The iris adds a tiny bit of vintage powder, which gives it a cool, old-school feel. The fragrance settles into a milky, sweet white musk. It definitely has a vintage soul, but it’s still chic enough to wear every day! Very cute and classy spring fragrance

got a sample of florence and loved it so much i remembered the name to buy a bottle two years later. it smells like gucci bloom but smoother and sweeter. clean, fresh, flowery, not too sweet, i think it’s lovely

This scent is so creamy and floral without being powdery or too sweet although it smells very creamy to me its somehow still fresh and light. So beautiful.

I love this smell because it feels entirely like spring without being pretentiously sweet like a lot of spring scents. It's subtle and heavily white floral, would've preferred to smell the pear more clearly but as a scent it is good. I layer it with the Florence body oil and a powder over the top to help the scent last because on it's own it doesn't last long. Similarly I hoped it would project further.

The thick aroma of summer gardenias in full bloom in the middle of August. Creamy and velvety white floral with a crisp, distinct fruit note on the back end to me, perhaps pear. Gorgeous fragrance. Lasts a long time, very moderate silage.

My mouth literally waters every time I smell it. I’m not a huge sweet person but this is a different kind of sweet. MMMM. But this with my allergies in the spring… not too fun

I got a small bottle of this for free with a purchase (I finally splurged on the big girl bottle of Stella) and I really like it. I'm not usually a spring scent girly but this one is really pretty. I wore it with a vanilla musk oil and couldn't stop sniffing myself all day.

Found a mini bottle at TJ Maxx for a good price last week. Came in a pack of 3 with Stella and Cleopatra. For anyone looking out there.

Gardenia is one of my favourite white florals to wear in summer, and Florence truly lets it shine. It’s beautifully balanced with pear, apple and soft white floral notes, creating something that feels fresh, delicate, airy and effortlessly pretty. Olivia Olfactory was right when she described this fragrance as having a vintage charm. I can picture a pretty lady in the 1940s (perhaps named Florence), wearing it to a picnic in an orchard, with soft blonde curls and a floral sundress. Just lovely!

Like walking through a church garden full of well-tended flowers, on a crisp day, and it's rained the day before. Very lovely.

cartoon bluebirds in a bird bath. she's sweet and cute. if it has pear in the note list, I'll probably like it. sileage and stay power are good considering the price.
