It just glows off my skin. Salty and mineral with a dirty metallic nuance that sounds disgusting but I could bath in this stuff. Late spring , early fall, and rainy summer days. Glad they brought this one back

yazlık bir kokuya göre çok keskin ve bana birazda aktar kokusunu anımsattı beğenmeyi çok istemiştim ama maalesef herkesin kokusu değil hatta çok az kişinin kokusu

Best suited for moody, grey days when I'm looking for something strange and intimidating. While the marine notes definitely come through, it skews metallic on my skin, at times bringing lead pencil shavings to mind. Like writing by the beach in the off season. It packs a punch, so I'd recommend treading lightly (and be mindful of the clothes you wear with it, as it lasts forever on fabric even after multiple washings).

Perfume should make you feel something.... boy does this deliver! When I wear this, I'm transported to a rocky, moody, cold ocean front. The air and my feelings; crisp, clean and very balanced. I have loved this fragrance for over half a decade. I reach for it more in the autumn or when the weather is crisp, the mood is amplified by the beautiful blend. it wears beautifully, develops into a softer mineral and woody base which remains consistently interesting I wear this to the office on days I need a little more quiet courage, on the weekends when want to be alone with my feelings and on very special quiet afternoons spent with people I love the most. On a male, this is especially gorgeous , its gracious, elegant and refined so leans both ways. P.S. this and the discontinued rive de amber are my two most adored TF Private Blends.

Immediately gives me stones, rocks, salt, masculine but interesting and I have only smelled similar with Olm by Zoologist, only this one is way more palatable. I don't really understand the hate, it's like being on a rocky beach when it's cloudy. The seaweed thankfully isn't fishy or green, it's definitely more iodine-like. It could be quite a beast with a huge reach so I wouldn't drown myself in it, personally. Softens pretty quick from that very strong astringent blast the first 10 minutes. Adore! Can't wait to test this out longer.

Every time i wear this, people notice. It performs extremely well and its probably the aquatic/marine type scent that suits me the best, as in i love wearing it. People describe it as weird and other negative adjectives, but i think this smells amazing and it one of the most unique (if not in the running for THE most unique) marine vibe scents. Like beautiful blue carribean ocean water crashing over smooth dark shiny rock, as the sun sets. Really paints that picture truly

Summer signature scent worthy. Can also wear it to black tie in the winter. Salty sea notes all day and nighy, eternal on clothing. All my white shirts have traces or the scent

I keep coming back to this. It's the perfect salty fragrance to me, without any citrus that may turn it into cleaning solution. It's fresh, but doesn't limit itself to summer. I do like Sel Marine and A'mmare as well, but I feel that this one does the 'straight out of the sea, seawater clinging onto your skin' much better. Not in a sunscreen, bright summer vacation, beer-commercial way; like in a realistic memory of feeling the salt and sand in the wind, of standing in the coastside, when the sun isn't as scorching and blinding. I am an avid sea lover and this really makes me happy, because whenever I am unable to go for a while, for whatever reason, smelling it transports me right back. It's almost magical to me. It truly is really, really lovely.

Ok...i tried Millesime Imperial, i tried Acqua di Sale...i even tried Megamare...but this takes the cake. This is uber classy, suit-ready fragrance for the modern gentleman. Fresh sea waves, combined with fresh woods and spices, guarantee a mineral, rock-like smell, in the best way possible. Trust me. Niche release, absolutely, worth your money? hell yeah. Want something for a cloudy summer day? somehow Tom Ford made a scent even for that scenario.

Smells somthing between Colgate total and an old carpet with a touch of gentle oud. Terrible.

Massively impressive.

First Pass - Soft leather. Heavy wood. There is an astringent pungency, almost dry, like tannins from a dark red wine 2 Hours Later - Still very woody. Oud is prominent. A little powder. A little floral. A little sweet 4 Hours Later - Oud and woods are here to stay, but there is a softer side. Sweetness, Florals, and Powder have swelled, all 3 much stronger. A hint of sunscreen in the background Agarwood is most prevalent from the build. I didn’t catch any resin or pine from the Balsam Fir. Pepperwood is a VERY unexpected ingredient, which I don’t notice either. Styrax most likely creating the tannic note I got at the top. The marine accords (sea, salt, seaweed) are largely absent for me. Perhaps they give a slight metallic contribution to the tannic note. I don’t detect Pink Pepper at all. Likely, Ambergris responsible for the delicate funky note I picked up at the end, which resonated as sunscreen to me. Puzzled there are no florals Overall - I really enjoyed the opening. Heavily masculine, very woody, oud-y, and to my nose, leathery. First impressions aren’t everything. An audacious, imposing fragrance that is inevitably tempered by sweet, powdery, florals. It's a delicate and nuanced progression, which you may enjoy. For me, powdery and floral scents read as feminine, no matter how artful the transition ***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

So interesting! Reminds me of coming out of the water after ocean snorkeling. Really captures that ocean salt aquatic vibe.

Finally managed to score an original 250ml of this juice . So far I only had experience with the signature line version , which I quite liked. Update soooooon …. I got a few bottles from TF but Could potentially this be my new second favorite Tom Ford ? Current TF top list : No1 Tuscan leather ( got the OG 250ml when it came out ) magic juice to my nose No2 Noir Anthracite , again , magic juice. Update: It just arrived! 🤓👌🏻 First impressions: Since all my atomizers are in use, I had to go savage and dab it on straight from the 250ml bottle cap 😬🤷🏼. The scent is subtle but definitely not weak—fresh, but without any sweetness. It’s working its magic… I’m already at the beach in my mind. Update 2: The TF atomizer finally arrived, and life is good! 😂 I've been wearing this fragrance non-stop since the day I got it—even to bed. 🤷🏼♂️ I also picked up 10ml of the new Signature version, and they are definitely different, especially in the opening. I'm not sure if it's due to the aging process or a reformulation, but the original smells more refined and, well, perfect from the start. The new release has a much harder, almost "greasy" opening that feels like something is missing. It's harsher and rougher initially, but after about 45-60 minutes, they become very close. This might change as the fragrance matures, but I'll stick with the original Private Blend version. With 250ml, I doubt I'll ever need a backup bottle. I won’t dive too deep into a full review since there are plenty out there, but to me, this scent is perfect—a true work of art. It’s easily in my top 3 Tom Ford fragrances. Salty and dry, it’s not overpowering but still long-lasting. Classy, elegant, and far from a people-pleaser. It’s probably Aquaman’s favorite juice. Living in the U.K., it’s the perfect rainy day fragrance, and needless to say, I’ll be wearing this all year round. 🤓 Update3: Compliment day: The girl behind me in the post office queue asked about my fragrance, and then another one at the gym did too. I’m starting to think this frag might have a secret ingredient—just a dash of "freshly squeezed effort."

I have a decant of this fragrance. It's one of my favourites! I am a surfer for 25+ years so it reminds me of what I smell like after a surf session (less woody notes, more of the salty marine notes). I feel refreshed and strong when I wear it. 1 or 2 sprays max for me. It's a very masculine scent. I also really like the newer release of this as well. I think it's good to own both versions of this fragrance. Tom Ford is all about quality and this scent has a smooth and well rounded profile overall with a subtle salty vibe.

Oud Minérale by Tom Ford was definitely not for me. I hated it from the moment I tried it—it gave me an instant headache. I’m pretty sensitive to certain smells, and this one was just too intense. It’s got that signature oud scent, but it’s mixed with sea salt and other mineral notes, which I found pretty overwhelming. I get that it’s a unique and bold fragrance, and it might work for some people, but for me, it was just too much. It’s not terrible by any means; I can see how it could appeal to someone who loves strong, earthy, and woody scents. But for me, it was just way too heavy and sharp. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re sensitive to fragrances or looking for something more subtle. It’s definitely not a match for my personal taste, but I can understand why others might appreciate it.

🤮🤮🤮🤮horrible. Fake Oud, fake ambergris. Synthetic notes . Garbage . Most ppl don’t know good perfumes if it landed on them. Smell some Areej Le Dore and you’ll realize what a waste of money Tom fords really are. All overpriced garbage that ppl who only buy these garbage perfumes to impress other ppl who couldn’t care less. SMH

Imagine you're at the beach and you smell the sea salt water coming off of your floaty. That is literally what Oud Minerale smells like. 10/10

Анонім

Had this since it came out. I have an original bottle and a new gold one. I still love it. Somehow a fresh oud. It's a little spicy and invokes a marine feeling. So that's pretty cool. Anyway! Just wanted to drop in on this again.

i got a sample it smells very trash i dont like the oud in this and the other stuff in it doesnt hit

Hanging out on the dock with your friends at the condo that you all are staying at for vacation during a hot and humid summers night. The tunes and vibes are peak as you all just joke, have a few drinks, and talk. The lapping of the waves against the dock knock up the smell of the sea into the air as the smell mixes in the breeze with the fir trees all around the condo complex. Life is good. I have been looking for a scent that truly and unapologetically smelled like the ocean during a hot summers night, and I think I found it. This isn't like any other basic aquatic, it's the smell of sea mist bottled, and I'm addicted. If you're like me, and are a little bored of every "blue" style of fragrance smelling the exact same: try this out. I will be wearing this during the night during the upcoming summer, but occasionally I will spray this on me during the colder months to remind of the warm ocean. And while this may seem very non mass appealing up close, in the air it turns you into the dreamy beach guy that every beach tv show/movie has. Favorite blue style fragrance to date. Fantastic performance with moderate projection. 9/10 Song Vibe - One Particular Harbor by Jimmy Buffet

This is by far the most polarizing scent I own which may be a reason that I like it so much. Right off the bat I'd describe the notes of the initial application as: Seaweed, Damp Driftwood, and Gasoline (as well as something sweet that I can't quite place). Don't worry though; after 20 minutes it dries down to a more mineral but still aggressively aquatic scent with a bit of an Ambergris note and good minerality. Basically you smell like you've spent all day in and on rough seas and ocean spray. By about 6h later is wear it really shines IMHO. The woody notes start to come through albeit subtly, it wears a fair bit closer, and has a very pleasant "smells good like a summer evening near a beach" vibe.

i had a nice conversation with the lady working at bijenkorf's perfume aisle about diptyque perfumes and how ur favorites match (tam dao, orpheon, fleur de peau). she gives me this as a sample thinking id like it. im literally throwing up. it smells like actual seaweed but a rotten seaweed. i dont like it at all and i cant see why anyone would. it has a bit of a minty vibe as well. luckily she gave me an eau moheli sample as well

I cannot stand it. very creative but not for me.

One of my favorites of all time. Super masculine doesn’t really smell like a cologne gives fresh grey vibes and has an addictive rubbery component. Underplayed masculinity. Super unique but also can’t imagine not appreciating this. Some may find it difficult to wear but I like this one so much I’ll wear it anytime anywhere. Whenever there’s an overcast I put on Oud Minerale.
