People online are very dramatic. If I was going to a woodland funeral in the middle of nowhere I'd wear this. It is quite strong but I expected it to be more bloody, metallic and cold. Some things are just skin chemistry but to me it smells like smoky wood, gunpowder, incense oil.

A 22-Hour War Crime on Your Wrist It's great. Aggressive, yes. Punchy, yes. Controversial and crass, yes. Not a date night or work perfume whatsoever. Blood and ozone and iodine and that smell of fresh bandages—something floral but not sweet floral—all projecting like a hospital ECU amplified tenfold. Gunpowder, though I haven't shot one in too long to confirm. Performance: The initial punch subsides within an hour. The transition to the heart is blurry (I genuinely slept through it), but by morning it had dried into blood and organic matter, then slowly evolved into dry, powdery patchouli with a sharp metallic blood undertone. At 22 hours, it's a skin scent. Practical verdict: Too heavy for a hot day, but perfect on a warm summer's night. Expect to offend the office—or a date—during the first 8–10 hours. In the drydown, it's intimate and safe unless your partner leans in close. That lingering bandage note is polarizing, but that's the point: it's an art piece, or a scent for days when you don't care what you represent, only what you are to yourself. Skin chemistry caveat: Only one wear on one wrist—no moisturizer or different application points tested yet. Value: Given the longevity, the cost is sound. If you can afford top-tier niche and this speaks to you, it's a no-brainer.

Honestly not too bad. I get a bit of the blood and iodine. I also do sort of get the used bandage description. It is an insanely strong perfume in general though. Mostly smells like old bandaid, wood, and some spicy/herby notes. A friend said they think it smells a bit like a traditional medicine store and I'd say that's closest. Very rooty and warm. I wouldn't wear this and don't particularly enjoy it but it's not bad nor completely unwearable.

Анонім

Honestly, it’s not a scary or bloody fragrance. It genuinely just smells like floral gums with a hint of iodine, it does not smell unbearable. I can reason why people would wear.

ominous scent. I heard a lot of bad things about this one, my first impression confirmed my fears, since it turned out to be outrageous and basically unwearable. it took me weeks and months of hearing it from time to time on myself and the person I love to finally appreciate the depth that's been put into this fragrance experience. I'm still battling myself over the different bold and heavy present notes and could not, for the life of me, say that I LOVE IT. still, the whole situation is quite fascinating. I went from having nauseous effects half a year ago to almost accepting all the gore vibes David is trying to show us. I cannot put into words what exactly I am imagining when smelling it - not typical "evil" notes like blood + metal + gunpowder + wood + flowers; something entirely new and in itself intriguing. I would recommend tasting it at least once, but most people will discard it after having their shock effect satisfied. judging from my review, maybe you should also give it a chance.

This is a nauseating mix of minerallic and peppery. I do not see why anyone would want to wear this or let alone smell like this for even a nano second. you couldnt pay me $330 to wear this.

God, this perfume was so beautiful. It smelled like a cold laboratory on a winter day. It has a very strong, metallic, rubbing alcohol smell, but once it settles its smells really good.

Анонім

wearing this again, i still love it. i smell like brand new pc parts. sprayed more this time, i feel the "strong" smell people talk about, though to me it's fine. doesn't smell toxic enough to be surprised i maintain my opinion that it's a cozy fragrance on my skin. i love it!!! i would wear this at night anywhere

Kept hearing about it when I mentioned I wanted to try unusual fragrances, got a sample for myself. Safe to say I thank earlier reviews for the heads-up about the very strong iodine/disinfectant opening. But it's exactly what I was searching for. Opens brutally, enters your nose and stays for as long as only it wants. Can't stop bringing my wrist and sample sheet to my nose, and the more I smell it the more I discover about it. Opening is sharp and almost sickening with a smoky disinfectant-like scent, then very slowly fades into a warm, sickly sweet incense with an alcoholic coat. The smoke persists through the nose, especially when you exhale after smelling it. Ultimately smells like a isopropyl-damped gauze after cleaning an infected wound, that you would have covered in incense. Kind of disappointed to not notice as many of the described bloody notes, but that does not make it any less interesting. I'd advise to wear it in colder temperatures and night settings, as during hot days it can definitely turn sickening and make your head hazy, especially if you're prone to headaches when smelling rubbing alcohol or isopropyl. I have a bad relationship with gender and find it hard to affirm myself through anything else than clothes, hair and piercings. This makes me feel weirdly at home in my body. Absolutely in love, wonderful first buy for a weirdo like me.

This is such a unique and beautiful fragrance. It’s not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. It opens very strongly with iodine that could be overwhelming, but mellows out fairly quickly to a bloody, metallic, smoky flowery scent that’s really pleasant. It definitely isn’t for everyone and suits colder days better (it doesn’t perform that great with really hot weather but is an absolute beast otherwise), but thusfar I have had quite a few compliments from people that didn’t know what it is supposed to smell like.

Анонім

Repulsive but couldn't stop smelling. The type of fragrance that gives you goosebumps because of the authenticity of the notes.

Анонім

It smells like smokey isopropyl alcohol! It really is not that bad but that not good either. I don’t get blood. I do smell a little bit of iodine but that's it. It doesn’t smell like war but you’re buying it for the brand and the idea of it.

I was finally able to find a sample of this and sate my curiosity and it was somehow not what I expected and more disgusting than I expected… I can’t really rate it badly because it definitely does what it tells you it will. Years ago I overdosed and was in a coma for a week and it really brought up some deeply entrenched memories of the smell of the ICU and the hopeless misery of everyone around me. I just love a nostalgic scent /s My first impression was astringent/antiseptic that makes your eyes water and nose tingle. Then a mixture of clotted blood, concrete and noxious smoke slammed into me. It was a little hard to keep smelling in order to describe the scent honestly. It smells sour and rotten. I work in the medical field and it smells like when this patient didn’t realize you’re supposed to change your bandaid and left the same one on the wound where we drained an abscess for two weeks. Or like a used tampon. Iodine and bandages. Metallic. My fiance said it smells like a hospital or when they put a surgical mask over your face. It takes a minute to get into the nitty gritty. I had my mom smell it when first sprayed and she just said “alcohol…” then another sniff and said “wait what? GAH!” I’m pretty impressed at how these scents can be bottled, it just invades your senses. It’s STRONG. The story behind this gives it a new dimension. I would feel wrong saying “1 star, not wearable” you know?

unwearably gross

It’s not as bad as people hyped it up to be. I thought it would be repulsive like Secretions Magnique. It’s not. It’s unpleasant though. Kind of reminds me of being in an industrial environment. I smell chemicals, rusty machinery etc. This is what a human killing robot should smell like. Still bad but not as much as I believed. 2/10

Smells like a how a penny taste if you’re into that.

This fragrance lives up to its name. It is the most inhuman, absurdly violent thing I have ever smelled. Do not be fooled by the initial onset of clean, medicinal iodine and intriguing florals. Inexcusable Evil will invade your throat and nostrils with a haunting, if not outright terror-inducing vapor of incomprehensible horrors. This fragrance genuinely began to scare me after trying it on. "Inexcusable Evil" refused to dissipate; it spread rapidly and violently about my person as time passed and mocked my attempts to cover up or wash it away. The green, almost peppery initial notes devolved into what I can only describe as the smell of post-apocalyptic, complete and utter destruction--wet, sour concrete, forgotten gunfire, and deep, deep sorrow. I will be haunted by this perfume for the rest of my life. This is a 10/10 for concept and experience alone. Kudos to Toskovat for offering a taste (smell) of emotions I didn't know I was capable of feeling. I intend to try "Inexcusable Evil" again, when I am feeling braver, or at least, less sane.

I immediately got goosebumps from smelling it. It truly smells like war, death and destruction. I get how this can make people gag, a deep enough sniff will probably make me gag too. I’m absolutely amazed and revolted.

Анонім

ok so people were not lying. iodine and antiseptic off of the bat. smells like a pus-leaking bodily secretion spilling out of a puncture wound. ICU room being cleaned after someone died and pissed themselves. i thought people were being dramatic when they showed themselves gagging to this. i personally did not but it’s just the kind of smell that makes your throat close up. disgustingly fun to smell but it will never touch my skin

i love this. it is very wearable (on my skin at least). it is a comfortable smell, something for before bed and you want to get cozy i didn't expect i would be saying this unironically lol

I've waited 3 years to smell this fragrance....today was that day. I drove nearly an hour to a fragrance shop while on vacation to try it. I attempted to play a mind game on myself and entirely disregard the rumors surrounding it. When I walked into the fragrance shop, I smelled several other fragrances first, as a way to mitigate the anticipation and activate my senses... I pressed down on the atomizer, blasting the juice onto a paper strip and began to waft it into the air. The first sensory experience was shock, because the mood just shifted into a dark place. There's just no way around that. Yes, it absolutely smells like blood and iodine, very metallic. The more of this that makes its way into your nostrils, the more unsettling the experience. If you've known true despair and pain, this will jolt you into emotional flashbacks, unwillingly. Keyword - emotional...that's exactly what this does. Invokes emotions. You're not going to make people happy when you pass by if you're wearing this. And who cares. There's certainly a time and a place. This would pair well with those days when you can't get out of bed but you still wanna smell good doing it. Classy depression. Nothing gross about it. I'll go as far as to say that it's a safe blind buy as long as you've read at least a few reviews. If you're up for an emotional roller-coaster, this is your ticket.

I bought this for my Mother for Mother's Day and she really likes it. She used to reach for Calyx and Acqua di Gioia Giorgio, but she's getting older and is hoping to find a man to fulfill her life. It has a bitter smokey tone with a very ripe medicinal tinge. The blood is subtle and really brings out the element of flesh. Bold, daring yet approachable. My Mom just loves it.

Does it really smell like Nautica Voyage...?? What is going on with this community...?? Joop Homme too...??

"Inexcusable evil" yeah cuz it is. Who the hell puts blood in a perfume 🥀

If you want to know what this smells like but don't want to spend the money, just go to your medicine cabinet and smell whatever antiseptic you may have in there. My brother bought this for us to smell because we were really curious. Initially smelling it straight out of the vial to me it smelled like Dr. Pepper? Like when you drink Dr. Pepper or cherry Coke and it stings your nose. It doesn't smell like that to me at all anymore but Inch Resting After letting it sit all I smell is straight iodine. I don't get any blood or concrete at all, I get a vague smoky scent but the iodine is so overpowering. It's not an unpleasant smell, just a very clinical, evocative one. Smelling it does make me feel a little bit unsettled, lol. Fun to experience either way

Smells like somebody died at a funeral

After all the faff on social media I wanted to sniff it for myself. I am not familiar with bombed hospitals so I cannot really ascertain whether the impression is efficient, but I suspect it isn’t. It does open violently. People have said gunpowder, to me it was more a very strong flower-ozone with dusty, iodine undertones that I think vaguely recreate the metallic facet of the gunpowder. The ozone is very strong, almost grating, but also provides a sense of powdery cleanness to the perfume. Juxtaposed over the incense notes of sandalwood and the more vegetation rot ones of the nagarmotha, it makes it very wearable, almost like a medical soap, but also cools down what should have been a comforting base. Its overall dustiness evokes concrete and petrichor, but never truly gets there. When the potency of the ozone diminishes (or your nose accommodates, it is hard to tell), there is a 2-hour long phase where the dominant is incense. Then the incense dulls down to get more into a more iodine, sweet, metallic facet that is long lasting and perhaps a little invasive. This is the part where it becomes weird, because the impression keeps changing even though the profile isn’t. There is something about the balance of the scent itself that feels unstable. Overall, it is nowhere near as dramatic as people made it to be. I was expecting a gimmick and found a really well-balanced perfume. Its rotten vegetation flowery smell to me evoke more the scent of a lover left on a bed sheet than a war crime. In all honesty, it could smell like you had sex during your period but on a bed of flowers, which I would qualify as a fairly more excusable evil. I think what this perfume does very well is to preserve its ambivalence while taunting the magnetism of the incense. I find myself reaching for my wrists, almost if I were worried to lose the scent that I like, because from afar the dominant is clearly the flower and ozone which is colder. I have to reach closer to the skin to feel its warmth. This is obviously a known phenomenon in all perfumes, but the dissonance between the head notes and core notes create this bouncing back effect. I honestly love it, at least on my skin, which tends to favor leathers, incenses, woods and flowers, which might explain why I haven’t had so much iodine-blood. People whose skin reinforces more volatile scents might find is nauseating because the compensation effect of the wood incense isn’t as strong. To me it’s right on balance. It reminds of sex, and has a dimension of grief to it, maybe both because of the fleeting nature of the perfume, like having the whiff of something that you remember is inconvenient but meaningful, that survives across weathering, and that you want to see surviving. Really worth the experience and not in the way I expected.

I wore this to an intimate setting experimental jazz show and a guy very noticeably scooted his folding chair away from me. Very far away.

been wanting to test it for a couple of years and finally got a sample. i wouldn't call it unpleasant. it's just a mix of photorealistic technogenic notes. the opening is indeed very "arthouse". picture this: an abandoned hospital, bloody bandages soaked in alcohol lying on a damp floor alongside rusty medical instruments and decaying furniture. there are more notes i feel/imagine if i think about them: mud, car exhaust, burning leather, concrete, motor oil. it all dries down to an earthy/leathery base with something subtly semi-sweet in the background, chocolate maybe??, plus a strong alcohol note that lasts until the very end. surprisingly, this part is a lot more wearable and smells more like perfume than a "piece of art". i personally still wouldn't wear it though. performance 10/10 associations 8/10 scent 4/10

It’s not as bad as some people say, but I still think it’s unwearable. It smells like iodine, Band-Aids, and disinfectant. It’s so strong that it makes me nauseous.
