Bombshell

A few years ago I really liked it, but now after wearing it more, I’ve noticed that it sometimes turns weird on my skin and has some screechy notes. But sometimes it’s fresh and beautiful. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’d still recommend it to someone who likes feminine sexy fresh shampoo-like scents (just try it out on your skin before buying).

A beautiful clean freshie, nothing sexy about it, completely unisex. A compliment getter especially in summer. Bonus point: it keeps mosquitoes and wasps at bay, and I mean it: I am usually prey to all sort of bites, bit this perfumes simply works! Not a single bite every time I wear it, no matter where I am outside in the summertime. Office friendly, it opens with a fresh passion fruit zing and develops floral and woody with a light sweetness, which is never too much. 10/10: a must have.

I'm not smelling what everyone else is smelling. No amount of maceration has fixed that scent and I've owned it for 5+ years. If you're on public transport, and someone smells like BO and you want to get away from it, that is the only thing this scent reminds me of. I don't smell anything else. It smells just as bad in the bottle as on my skin, so either my nose doesn't work with this scent, it's naturally that bad, or the bottle I received is just bad. Either way, its going in the garbage. I think my nose just isn't picking this scent up right.

As a man, I don't wear women's fragrances, but I enjoy experiencing and reviewing them. I had the chance to smell Victoria's Secret Bombshell on a friend. My first impression was a bold floral opening that was quite strong, but it settled into a softer, more balanced scent over time. From my perspective, it's a pleasant, feminine fragrance, but not a particularly unique one. It reminds me of many floral scents found in women's cosmetics and beauty products. I can understand why it's so popular, but it never gave me that "wow" feeling.

I think every girl should have this one once in her life. So cheerful and young. It is a really natural floral scent and perfect for summer. There are many better floral scents out there, but it gets compliments, especially from men. A real compliment magnet. Not deep, not interesting, but perfect for daily use.

I absolutely love it, and it was my first perfume. My mother gave it to me, and I have such good memories of it. It's been my signature scent since before I even entered the fragrance world. I adore the combination of fruits with peony (one of my favorite floral notes). I have the Intense and the limited-edition Gold, and they're all so easy to wear. I don't care what other people think of this line; for me, it's wonderful. Just one spray of it brightens my day.

bought a travel sized bottle of this just in case i ended up not really liking it, but i really do enjoy this fragrance! im a sucker for sweet smells, so this was right up my alley. it has this soapy aspect to it that i cant really get enough of. once i run out im 100% buying the full bottle ^_^

Ok, so the expectations on this one were really high, as I blind bought it. It is a nice fresh girly scent for summer, but quite juvenile and definitely overpriced. The longevity is also minimal, this is an eau de Toilette at best. To be honest, I don't understand why they made this perfume in 2010 to be so light and airy - you can get a generic 15-20€ perfume at the drugstore for the same scent profile and quality.

I wanted to like this and originally did, but on the dry down there is some background note that I just can't stand :(

This scent is oddly addictive, it reminds me of a tropical mango lassi smoothie but at the same time a glam clean girl, I'm really into this!

I use this as a bug spray and went from a mosquito magnet to a mosquito repeller! I don’t care much for this scent, but because it’s so effective at warding off bugs, I always have this in both the body spray and perfume formats at all times! I would buy this in bulk if I could.

My friend had the mist version of this on which is much less concentrated, very weak in comparison and they smelled so so good. Highly recommend this. Rare Hidden Gem, that is not mentioned by any of the male reviewers.

just sexy and fun. a bit immature and simple but who cares?? i like it idk im a sucker for a fresh feminine scent and it stays well. it doesn't dry down into a different scent. i wish i could find the atomizer but alas

VS Bombshell is my favorite among all VS fragrances. I have Seduction, Love, First Love and all the others but bombshell is the best. It is the best smelling perfume of VS. It lasts long on me as long as you spray more than once. You will smell lovely esp. if you spray it on your clothes.

I don't understand why it's called "Bombshell." I was given a small bottle as a gift and I thought, "Ooo, a sexy lingerie scent, I need one of those." Imagine my confusion when I took my first wiffs! This is as far from sexy "bombshell" in lingerie as you can get. This is fruity, flowery shampoo after high-school P.E. class. Total soap. And it doesn't have the strength or longevity you'd expect from a name like that either. This is a very safe, very simple, juvenile scent that I would comfortably gift to a girl 12 to 17 years old, any older and one wants something with more depth and magic. I am surprised by how long this has been in production, perhaps I judge it too harshly, but to me this isn't for a grown woman.

The opening was heavy and floral for me. The slightly fruity scent that remains after it dries out completely is more tolerable.

Great fragrance, summer, flirty, girly, fresh

Got this as a free sample. Upon first spray, I was immediately hit with early 2000s nostalgia. It's that familiar fruity musk. As it dries down, I get a really strong citrus scent, like lemon iced tea. And later on, that fades as the musk really comes to the fore. I'm not a huge fan of this type of musk which was used so often in the late 90s/early 2000s. It smells rubbery to me. Not a bad scent overall, but it's quite watery and lacks complexity. The note tree is surprising because I can hardly distinguish anything other than citrus and musk. I think I'll probably use up this sample by keeping it in my work bag to freshen up on hot days, but this is not a scent I would seek out.

I used to wear this back in my freshman year of high school, so it very much reminds me of those years. It smells really good, very sweet floral scent but yet seductive. I wouldn’t purchase it again as, like I said, it just reminds me of high school. A very juvenile scent to me.

in teenage girl fashion, bombshell by vs used to be a staple in my morning routine. now i dont usually reach for it because i favor more musky and mysterious scents. bombshell is a little bit underwhelming, but ultimately perfect for everyday use for a early teen.

I wanted to love this so much but I don’t. The purple passion fruit is sort of deep and unclean smelling, and then the bombshell peony that’s in most of them I just don’t like the smell of. I hate to say this because i wanted to love it so bad but to me it smells cheap and does kinda remind me of a public bathroom. Surprisingly quite popular where i live, I’ve smelled this in public multiple times.

After years of collecting many different Designer and Niche Fragrances I will still always have Bombshell. There's nothing that smells like it to me and I get all day wear with moderate projection.

This is one of biggest compliment getters in my collection. I’m a nurse I wear it to work, I get compliments from my patients all the time. The only perfume which I have back ups of backs ups.

Such an easy reach. Boring? Yes. But it’s perfect for day - to day wear, especially in the summer when you want a light & uplifting fragrance. It’s not too overpowering and will still have you smelling sexy & clean at the same time. The only thing I was disappointed with is that I don’t get any of the fruity notes that are listed. At all. I don’t smell pineapple, strawberry, passionfruit, or tangerine. none of that. It’s just straight up aquatic. If you want a basic everyday perfume and smell like you’ve just walked out a shower, I’d say get this because this is a pretty sophisticated perfume that makes you feel uplifted & put together, but if you’re expecting something with more depth and fruity, I’d recommend bright crystal by Versace instead. They’re very similar, except bright crystal has a pomegranate note that brings a juicy fruitiness which is what I was expecting with bombshell.

I miss having this! Fun, fresh, clean, feminine. Not too sweet (not dessert sweet), definitely more fresh and musky. Wore this on and off for years.
