This is terrible on me. Very strong, nauseating, headache inducing scent. Burns the nostrils. I envision an old church lady who overdresses for Sunday mass. Reminds me of the Dolly Parton perfume Scent from above. The only perfume of hers I don’t like.

I get a bit of leather and floral, dries townd into a nice but not overpowering vanilla & musk. Lovely not cloying scent.

I got a little dabber bottle of this. This is definitely of its time and place - you can tell it’s from 2011. That’s a positive for me because it’s unique from what is currently popular right now. A slightly boozy opening, patchouli dry down - but the patchouli has a certain uniqueness to it, maybe the leather and amber aspects. A little floral with the jasmine. Moderate longevity and sillage. I would purchase a full bottle of this.

First spray, the top notes come off very synthetic to my nose. It might be the rum, but I also get a slight hint reminiscent of cherry flavoring found in cough syrups, which I really dislike. Thankfully, that note disappears within a minute or two. The overall scent profile reminds me of Shalimar in the pink bottle. In my opinion, they share a lot of similarities. This is definitely more suited for colder seasons and nighttime wear. It is surprisingly unisex. If a woman wears it, it feels expected, but if a man wears it, I think it would pleasantly surprise people. It is not my cup of tea, but I think it is good for what it is.

This perfume is just stunning. I had a successful swap with @Cherry_Darling (Shout out to you Veronika). Love it. Thank you.

I spotted the most recent review of this and I realized I have this fragrance and I haven’t tried it yet! So, I pulled it out and am testing it. It is good, although I’m just getting to know it. The top was a bit wobbly for me but once it starts drying down it gets really nice. Sweet, a little boozy, warm. The jasmine and rose are starting to show, however I’m not getting leather yet. That’s ok, I don’t love a leather note but it may just be subtle adding depth to the scent. Immediately, I could tell that this is a fragrance that I feel can be worn all year round, day into night. Right there, that’s a win. I have a few of the comparable scents and I really don’t feel it smells like any of them. I detect something in the background that smells either like pineapple or coconut, like a flavored rum. It’s an easy reach fragrance for sure!

To me, this is a masterpiece. It smells like nothing else in my collection yet has the ability to evoke memories for me- my moms leather purse which smells like perfume and flowers, the smell of getting ready for bed after a fun, fancy boozy night out. In my opinion, this is one of the most criminally underrated fragrances. It’s not Flowerbomb, as I find it less obvious and headache inducing. It’s just gooood- cozy, boozy, beautiful and for the insane price point, a must try. It’s grown up but flirty, sexy but not vulgar, and honestly outranks so many of my niche and designer juices. Love this stuff with my whole heart.

Анонім★★★★★

A sexier, bolder version of Flowerbomb. I enjoyed it more than I expected, and it’s definitely a compliment-getter. I’ve already gone through two bottles, and I’d consider it well worth it, especially for the price.

Анонім★★★★★

Sweet, syrupy. It’s nice. Was hoping for it to be a bit stronger. Somewhat unisex. Glad i got the small bottle first.

Анонім★★★★★

I gotta get me more of this. This is so good! I blind bought this from Ross but I was immediately sold on it when it was compared to Flowerbomb. Anything to do with that fragrance, I’m like yes let’s go! This is a lot like flowerbomb.

Анонім★★★★★

Just got this today and it's nice. Looking forward to wearing when the temp drops but its beautiful. I was looking for something that reminded me of the 90's and this is doing that.

Анонім★★★★★

I forget how I came across this one, but the notes had me at a blind-buy, and impulsively at the price. Hooray for a scent that is sophisticated and sweet enough to enjoy and reach for often. I bought another bottle for a friend. This was launched when and I'm now just discovering it? I'm so happy with the value you get out of this.

Анонім★★★★★

Okay first as first, That bottle is gorgeous! At first sniff, I felt something dark but couldn’t put my finger on it. After that, I’d say it’s s mix of Escada show me love, it has that fruitiness; and D&G The one, nostalgic, 2000’s hint. But VC is a more complex fragrance. I’m all for dressing down and wearing a statement parfume, but for this one I’d have to dress up for.

Анонім★★★★★

Hot patchoulli, amber, and definite rose. One of the few good perfumes I've smelled that actually gives a natural rose smell without any of the weird berry-cherry bullshit. Slightly metallic, like a lover having bitten your lip hard enough to bleed (a great note in the mix!) Bright, clean, ever so slightly medicinal with a hot, sexy, smokey rum underbody that makes me think of beautiful, mature candy-stripe nurses or erotic middle-aged office women. They would certainly wear it at any rate.

Анонім★★★★★

Wow. Blown away. This is great.

Анонім★★★★★

Blind Buy. UNISEX: men - Please TRY THIS ! Nice patchouli based fragrance. Nothing crazy , but I got compliments in Starbucks today right after I tried it on ! My 3rd Vince Camuto in a month and they all smell COMPLETELY different from one another. Ignore the list of notes - your nose will not be able to detect all that much. Camuto makes great "cheapies" and I want them all now !

Анонім★★★★★

Vince Camuto, 2011 batch, 30ml bottle. The opening of this chypre-floral mildly irritates me for some reason, making me sneeze, but after a minute or two it settles nicely on my skin to give a slightly spicy, sweet-ish floral with subtle leather and a clean patchouli dry down. It becomes drier and almost smoky towards the end. This fragrance is nicely done, the notes combine well and it smells more expensive than it is. Sillage is moderate for me, it under-performs in terms of longevity, but I'm still glad to have this in my collection. Can be worn anytime, but I enjoy it best in an evening, when it's cold outside.

Анонім★★★★★

Surprised no one has mentioned this smells like boozy cherries. It's kind of like Flowerbomb, but darker, with boozy cherry liqueur. Totally smells like the sweet gourmand boozy stuff released by niche brands (which honestly says more about the niche releases these days more than this scent). The quality of the scent is not bad, but very perfumey. Not totally my thing but not bad!

Анонім★★★★★

flowerbomb but darker and more sensual it’s actually very nice

Анонім★★★★★

Like the reviewer before me, I'm also surprised to find out how airy this is. This would be great for somebody who's a beginner with patchouli or leather scents. But for me it's a little tame. Nice though.

After wanting this for ages, I blind bought VC, as it was on a heavily discounted price on Notino and to be honest it isn't what I expected at all. The bottle is just beautiful but I have to admit that I truly expected this to be a heavy and thick scent but it's quite the opposite..Looking at the notes, you are under the impression that it will be a heavy hitter, so I was a bit disappointed as It's actually an effervescent and sparkling lil number. It opens up Boozy with the Rum and the Leather comes through almost immediately making this one of the strongest leather fragrances in my collection and thankfully, the Patchouli here is spicy, which I really like as it's restrained but it's there; albeit nicely balanced out by the Rose and Jasmine. The only thing that I'm not keen on in this delightful lil number is the musk, as it's the metallic kind that kind of burns your nose when you inhale it, but from a distance it blends in quite well. Now in the dry down and this scent has become quite synthetic and it slightly reminds me of Spell Caramel by Zara, which I already have. So I'm quite torn about having both, and it's more than likely that I might sell this on, as I prefer Spell Caramel over VC, which is such a shame really but Spell Caramel is the a lot smoother and this is kind of jarring in the dry down.

Анонім★★★★★

Nice! Very safe despite what the accords might make you believe. Rich and sweet, good for any age if you're into warm perfumes

Breathtaking osmanthus.

Анонім★★★★★

I have the mist for this, does it count 😄

Анонім★★★★★

Flowerbomb. Smells like La Belle Eau de Parfum. Sweet but smoky with a patchouli base. Smells more expensive than the price, and is an incredible value in that sense. The most mature and interesting of the Camuto fragrances.

Анонім★★★★★

This is such a sexy cheapie. It's thick, sweet, and smoky. Amber and rum are the most prominent throughout it's wear. It's like a modern speakeasy scent. Feels like it's meant to be worn unapologetically with a sexy black dress and red lip. Absolutely stunning for the price.

Анонім★★★★★

The bottle like all the other Camuto fragrances is exquisite. This perfume is definitely a unisex and an Oriental. The first spray on you and you can sense and detect the distinctive rum note. Boozy and rich, sweet but not too sweet, with a floral touch of osmanthus, jasmine and what also smelled like hibiscus. It has a Caribbean island flair - the rum, the beach flowers. There is also the most obvious musk and leather. Only a dash of vanilla, some traces of amber and a dry down of patchouli. The whole combination is more linear than complex, however. But all the notes as seen in the note pyramid can be detected; including amber. The amber in the base is sweet and brings the florals together. But this is not some super sweet gourmand or fruity floral which can be typical of so many fragrances. It comes off as exotic, mature, womanly or unisex. A man can totally wear this and pass it off as perhaps an indie niche cologne for men or unisex. The leather never turns too powdery or too musky. But it's there. There is a dark red rose, but it is covered in patchouli leaves. The images this creates are exotic islands, pirates (both men and women pirates) sea ships, and beaches, ocean voyages. It is spicy and subtle, never too strong. The perfume is equal to the sillage and longevity of the body spray version. Although it does not last long, it is a beautiful scent-ride as you wear it. Suited to fall and winter seasons. Great for dinner dates, a very seductive evening perfume; and for creating a sense of allure and mystery. If you as a woman worry that it might be too 'masculine' it doesn't really feel that way. It's no YSL Opium original. It is still keeping sweet and light, it's not too formal, but definitely not casual. It has a vintage Oriental charm and can be in the same league as Shalimar; though by no means anything like Shalimar, only in their Oriental bodies. Camuto is totally on it's own class and smells like nothing I know or does not remind me of any other specific fragrance. However it is Oriental and sexy. A spicy rum, a jasmine floral, a musk, all these notes have always appealed to me. So when I bought it blindly I knew it would be a success. I absolutely love it.

Let me start by a brief contemplation. First of all I’d like to mention that I disagree that fragrances should be attributed to different occasions and times of the day. If I like a fragrance, it means it represents how I feel myself in a certain period of my life, and I like wearing it everywhere, because this is who I am. To the office I’d just wear a tiny little bit, I’d spray somewhat more if going to an open air evening gathering :) Back to the review. The initial spray gives me a lovely fresh burst of citrus, which is not mentioned in the notes, which goes together with leathery-ambery accords that are heavy, sticky sweet, rich, sensual and masculine, which to me make the whole thing very sexy. Then the fragrance transforms into musky moistness, a bit green and watery, that gives this expensive luxury vibe. At first I though it’s the musk until I realized later it’s the rose!! This completely changed my perception of rose that I thought beforehand I don’t like. It’s beautiful! I also smell tobacco and chocolate with some resinous and smoky dark undertones (bensoin or olibanum?). VC original is unique and very complex, rich, luxurous and invigorating. After some time vanilla takes leadership and the dry down is warm, cozy and almost “eatable”, reminds me or a high quality sugar cookie from my childhood. And it leaves on my clothes a tender powdery rose residue the next day. It’s classy, and calls for high end clothes and gold jewelry. It’s not retro, as some people mention. Rather modern and bold due to its reference to masculinity. It gives me some sense of luxury and in my mind instantly transforms my casual outfit into an expensive one 😁 And yes, I wear it with casual outfits)) A girl wearing this fragrance is confident and has everything in her life put together. It gives me confidence to start new things and make decisions. I love how it stimulates my senses. In this moment of my life :) As a conclusion I wear a perfume as long as I haven’t unraveled its mystery, then I loose interest. Vince Camuto is still a mystery ))

This is the ultimate nostalgia swap day. I got this brand new in a swap, and yes, this is 100% flowerbomb to me. A little bit less headache inducing, I wore a whole 100 ml box of flowerbomb back in the day (this was pre 2016 before I got into the more niche stuff.) I do like it a lot, it really takes me back but I'm just not completely sure it's me anymore. In fact I'm completely sure it's not me, but A+ for nostalgia value. Edit: okkk, this is a butch leather on the dry!! Was not expecting that, it whoops ass :) I like it a little more now but still open to swaps. 100 ml bottle up for swap in the UK if any of you ladies (gents) fancy a swap! I literally just opened it. Would love anything on my want list in return, or something citrussy, ambery, powdery, green in similar value.
