Uden This is part 3 of 6 in my reviews of Xerjoff Shooting Stars that are in my current collection. I will independently review Kobe, Uden, Uden Overdose, Nio, Cruz del Sur I, and Cruz del Sur II. I will provide limited comparisons and ranking of each. Uden starts with a blast of citrus, primarily lemon, which is met almost immediately with the sandalwood, vanilla and a touch of rum. This mixture produces creamy lemon that continues through the mid. I have seen comparisons to lemon meringue pie, and they are not wrong. Maybe not sweet as pie, but along those lines. Rather quickly the musk arrives and you are left with a fairly generic citrus musk. I find the rose more prominent that others have suggested. Never would I refer to this fragrance as bright, robust energetic, or even really fresh for that matter. Uden is highlighted rated, but I find it very generic; I have smelled dozens that are very similar. There is really nothing “wrong” with it, but with thousands of options, you can do better. Given the rose and the creaminess, I would definitely say this is unisex safe, maybe even feminine leaning, but for some reason, Fragrantica lists it as “for men.” I find this to be a skin scent that might last 4-5 hours. It’s not offensive in the least and it is well blended, I just find it boring. I prefer a brighter citrus fragrance. Overall rating 6.5/10. Opening is very nice but the dry down is painfully generic. Too bad

I really wanted to love this, but my partner wears Black Opium and Bonbon so Uden on my skin just smells like I've borrowed her perfume. Tried my sample whilst she was at work and had to shower so she didn't think I'd been a) borrowing her perfume and therefore her underwear or b) had another woman round whilst she was out.

Beautifully soft and creamy unmistakable Xerjoff DNA base with a touch of lemon drizzle cake on the top. Well balanced round cosy summer scent. Moderate sillage and longevity. High quality juice presented to you in one of the most gorgeous bottle. Smell 7.5/10 Style 7/10 Vibe you get 7/10 Creativity, uniqueness 7/10 Technical aspect 7.5/10 Longevity 7/10 Price 6/10 Overall impression 7/10

Smells like Lafayette Street, not sure what note(s) that is but very solid scent. 8.2/10

These notes are exactly as described. Lemon meringue pie, starting off with a blast of fresh citrus! The vanilla is beautifully blended, and while this is a masterpiece of a scent, it may not be for everyone. Working my way through this decant, and enjoying every bit of it!

Yes, the Oden opening just does not work for me either, but the dry down is wonderful. I already own it so I needed to do something. I mixed Odyssey Limoni to brighten the opening, 50 / 50 mix. The bright bergamont - Limoni burns off in the first few hours and has vurtually no dry down scent, which leaves that beautiful Oden dry down to flower to full bloom. Update: This stuff is growing on me. I keep reaching for it. I feel like a junkie that needs a fix. Who knew??

There are a few perfumes that I would say they smell better than Uden, but if I could choose only one perfume to own forever, Uden would be my choice. It is bright, very pleasant, makes you feel clean, fresh and good. Definitely better than Uden Overdose.

At the time of this writing, Uden is ranked very highly amongst niche unisex fragrances. I've had an official sample for over a year by now, but I never really gave it much attention, focusing on testing other juice I considered a priority. However, outside of a few mentions here on few fragrance websites, I never heard Uden being mentioned anywhere else, including social media. And for a fragrance seemingly so popular, I expected at least a few feats in some videos on the internet. But nothing. So when Uden's turn came to go through my testing process, I found it nothing more than pretty... and boring. First, you're met with some citric vibrancy from a mix of grapefruit and lemon which don't last all that long and settle down for a very soft mix of creaminess derived from the sandalwood with the tiniest sweetness from rum, but it's not enough to really call it boozy. To my nose, I pretty much don't get any coffee, which is likely drowned in soft vanilla which bases the scent with sweet creaminess and a dosage of clean musks garnished on top. That's it, that's all I get. It's so simple and stale that I am seriously considering getting another sample, as maybe the one I have is off...? I'll update the review if I ever discover that was the case, but for now, this is all I get. And fair, it's pretty, but just so lackluster of character and just so soft that the notes struggle to stand out. Hence, it was also quite tough to test the overall performance of Uden. Longevity seemed to tap out around the 8 hour mark, which is a pretty good showing. But projection was substantially quieter, yet I half-expected it to be even softer. It managed to get noticed around by other for the first hour without ever becoming obtrusive, and it was still gently projecting 2 hours in. From that point onwards, however, it would get harder and harder to spot, and it would settle into a skin scent by the ~4 hour mark. You can rest assured that this is one of the friendliest and most wearable pieces of niche perfumery you'll come across. It's hardly too sweet to reserve if only for evening summer wear; it's perfectly wearable at any time throughout the year and largely in any context. However, I'd certainly look elsewhere for a dress-up occasion; just too boring for me to wear to a wedding. For daily errands and such? Spray away. I'm anything but convinced. For the €200 it goes for, I simply don't find Uden worthwhile. At that price, I'd expect more fullness, more uniqueness, a more enticing DNA without being this bland. It's hard to hate, but it's hard to be impressed by it, and seeing Sculpture Homme Eau de Toilette being compared to Uden whilst going for one-tenth of the price largely seals the deal. But I'll keep in mind the small possibility that I was subject to a bad sample, and I'll likely acquire a new one some time in the future. But if it's the same... the my conclusion stays the same. Presentation: 10/10 Scent: 6/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 4/10 Versatility: 9.5/10 Value for Money: 2/10 Overall: 6.4/10

TRUE MASTERPIECE! Uden is perfectly blended, creamy, super easy to wear. Opening is citrus heavy, and do resemble Chanel’s Edition Blanche (I own both, and decisively prefer Uden) but after the first 15 minutes the similarities diverge, as the citruses fates, and it becomes this super lovely creamy vanilla with that rum and coffee supporting it. 10/10⭐️

Uden is one of the most sublime and versatile vanilla fragrances. Full wear blows comparisons out of the water. I also didn't realize a meteorite came with a certificate of authenticity.

For me, this does the same thing as La Nuit De L'Homme, but La Nuit De L'Homme is better....

I love Xerjoff. However this is completely MID.

Long lasting. Very similar at the opening to one of my favourite fragrances - Allure Homme Edition Blanche, but It's much more refine and complex. Please don't overspray like with the Chanel. 2-4 sprays max. Otherwise the dry down will lead you to some very unpleasant musky scent.

Definitely not for younger guys. 30+ mature scent. But so gorgeous...

Its smells amazing, clean and fresh and you can definitely smell how premium Xerjoff notes are. but since I am used to Sculpture Homme Nikos, which is extemely similar, I always feel like some notes are missing, if u like uden you have to try Sculpture Homme Nikos. To me it feels like I already have Uden if I have Sculpture

I love the scent, but the performance is VERY bad on me. All of my Creeds including MI last 2-3-4x times more. I would give it a month and try again.

Opening is terrible. I really tried to like this . Gave it a lot of time. It is just the opening. God, it's bad. Medicinal, toilet cleaner.... But if you can get past it and survive the headache, the dry down is great . It is too late then... I have had Chanel AHEB. much bette in y opinion... nice packaging though

That first spray is magical. A refreshing sweet citrusy oppening. Then after 30 minutes or so, the resemblance to Lafayette and Wild Card shows up and by the 2 hour mark its changes to a creamy vanilla scent that keeps lingering around you. The citruses mixed with the vanilla is pure magic. The woods make it heavier for me. Try it on a 5 ml decant.

Soft rich and beautiful, perfect daily/signature scent. 9.65/10

Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche is better

Uden is a beautiful, complex blend of realistic citrus, warm spices, and sweet gourmand notes. It is both fresh and rich, sweet and savory, playful and put together. As the citrus softens, the coffee emerges, creating a distinctive second act. Uden is a culinary accomplishment in a perfume bottle. I find it surprisingly versatile. I wear it as a daytime scent in cold weather and a nighttime scent in warm weather. It works with most of my wardrobe—anything more put together than athletic wear and less formal than a suit—but it feels especially right with a lightweight sweater. Performance is perfect for me: moderate sillage and strong longevity. Uden is expensive but worth it. I am a sucker for Xerjoff's presentation--beautiful box and bottle. Uden is a lot of fun to wear, is a favorite of mine, and will always have a spot in my wardrobe.

The late dry down though!! 🔥 🔥 Start is 100% edition blanche (EDP to be specific), mid & dry down Allure Homme, but hours after the dry down 👌🏽 the nilla & coffee gives off the most delicious, curious, enticing, smooth aroma w/ the lemon/ grapefruit still peeking in the background 🤤🫠. My goodness

I’m really reading this fragrance as gourmand a lot more than others. It’s not very similar to edition Blanche, which just smells like lemons to me. It smells closer to the original allure homme, however, sweeter, spicier, and higher quality. This is a fantastic fall fragrance, however, can be worn year round.

In my opinion, it’s one of the best citrusy unisex spring fragrances. It’s seriously underrated. For me, it’s on the same level as Torino21. You can buy it with confidence — it’s even safe to blind‑buy.

Fresh, pleasant, and high quality, but definitely not the kind of fragrance that justifies its price

I first smelt Uden a couple years ago when I was looking for a new fragrance at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge. However I did not end up buying it as I immediately fell in love with Mefisto and bought that instead, which is now my signature. Anyway I am now in Boston and reordered Mefisto as my bottle has just ran out and received a free sample of Uden and I've loved it even more since. The opening is not the greatest, honestly I hate to say it but reminds me a lot of Versace Dylan Blue, a nice fresh fragrance but there is something a little bit harsh about it. But I must say, 20 minutes later it is a completely different fragrance. That harshness disappears and reveals a creamy vanilla citrus that couldn't be more relaxing. I've seen a lot of people comparing this to Allure Edition Blanche, and while they are similar, I would not say that they are the same at all. I have Allure Edition Blanche in my collection and it simply just does not have the same complexity as Uden, and certainly doesn't have the same performance. Uden gives me about 8-9 hours, while Allure Edition Blanche barely gives me 4-5. I think of Uden as much more grown up and mature than Allure Edition Blanche, like its uncle, same DNA but not the same at all. Allure Edition Blanche reminds me of a lemon cake, while Uden reminds me of a lemon cake on a yacht off the Amalfi coast with a quartet playing in the background. I've just put my order in for the full bottle and cannot wait for it to arrive.

Nose Note #876 Yeah, it feels like Uden was inspired by Amouage Reflection Man, but they decided to make more fruity instead of white floral and got this. I haven't yet tried Chanel Allure Homme though. In it's turn Lafayette Street feels like a mix between Reflection Man and Uden. I like Uden even more than Reflection Man, it's two steps more modern, even though only 3 years separate the two fragrances. Reflection is only subtly sweet, Uden is much sweeter, but not like 1 Million, it's moderate. And it has a creamy citrus accord in the likes of Allure Homme Sport. Overall the fragrance is stronger than Allure Homme Sport and Reflection Man, but not miles stronger. I lose track of all three after 3-4 hours, which is really not good, but I feel like it's just my nose and the scent must still be around. Just to compare - I can't smell Boss Bottled after 1-2 hours, it's just gone, maybe traces only... Uden feels friendlier than Reflection, the age group is much wider. In a way it smells like a beautiful companion to an already beautiful Allure Homme Sport. I'm very happy I have this. It just satisfies me. 8.7/10, super easy one, but doesn't feel like something legendary

Ooh, hello. This is a journey. The bright citrus opening (very grapefruit) is loud for a mere moment to get your attention, before it starts opening up in a slow fireworks display of complex layers. 2 hours in and I'm just starting to get to the base notes. It leans sweet for me, definitely more feminine than I expected. I'll update when this lovely journey ends.
