The elixir of life in a bottle.
My most complimented fragrance EVER. This is that type of fragrance when you catch a waft of it in the air you want to track the person down who's wearing it. I work in a customer facing role and there was multiple times when a customer would ask what the fragrance was. There was even one time a gentleman purchased the fragrance online right in front of me when I told him what it was.
One of the best fragrances i've ever smelled... I'm selling a 2024 bottle (around 90-95ml left) for 130 + shipping, with box. In Europe.
A bit on the sweet side, but that lavender, honey, tobacco & vanilla really is a great, classic combination.
Much better than I’d even expected. Exceptional. This is a master blend, and the cohesion here is stunning. Sweet, fresh, amber, citrus, honey, musk. You can tell it has the structure of a Fougere when you smell closely. I’ve smelled more of Xerjoff since and I am 50/50 on the much of their output, but this is their heavy hitter for a reason. Really sits between niche and designer sensibilities perfectly. A real symphony. A+
Kwestia gustu i tego jak perfumy na Tobie sie prezentują, dla mnie po prostu coś niesamowitego.
Before I acquired a full bottle, I would often go to a niche store near me, spray some on my wrist, and spend all day sniffing it. I got my bottle after it seemingly got reformulated and the difference is distinct. The citruses are more prominent and the overall scent is more "airy" making it feel less suitable for cold weather but still too sweet for warm weather. Old formulation: 9/10. Current formulation: 6/10.
first time i smelled this i kinda hated but after the 3 time i smelt the dry down and it was amazing was really good i think its a very nice honey scent
Might be the last time I buy into the hype (who am I kidding). The cinnamon jumps out at the opening and not in a good way. It is strangely medicinal, almost like artificial root beer or hot candy taste. The pleasant tobacco/vanilla dry down arrives after an hour or so, which is enjoyable but not really anything special. I will need to revisit Naxos in the winter.
Honey, lavender, touch of tobacco-- sublime. You can smell the citruses and cinnamon really giving Naxos lift on skin, but they never become the key players. Naxos is mass appealing, and you can be certain that everyone around you will like how you smell. Performance is excellent. It's not nuclear, but it is indeed excellent. You'll get a full work day and then some with a few sprays of Naxos.
The sweet opening is even sweeter in warm weather. Good tobacco scent though. Not my cup of tea.
This is a nice fragrance which lasts for a long time on body and clothes. I see high similarities between this and Bogart pour homme. Bogart is also a good fragrance with a very low price. There is some screechiness in Bogart , which is not present here. This similarity is coming from tobacco note. I am not a fan of this kind of tobacco ,but people around me like this on me.
This is too sweet for me but I have to give credit that it’s still a very solid fragrance. Honey and cinnamon are the dominant notes, vanilla and lavender are more subdued to my nose. Barely any tobacco or deeper notes beyond the sweetness. It is still smooth and well formulated, and I would probably love this scent on someone else, but it strays too far into edible gourmand territory for me and is cloying on my skin. Solid performance and longevity though. To me more unisex or even slightly feminine.
Smells like spicebomb extreme in the drydown
I feel like I have smelled at least 5 similar sweet middle eastern winter perfume just like this. Not unique.
Smells like how a red hot candy tastes and has good performance. Smells good but also like a headache. Not for me 5/10
I was really excited to try Naxos because of all the hype surrounding it. I thought there was no way a fragrance could receive this much praise without being exceptional. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. It’s overwhelmingly sweet, with honey, cinnamon, and vanilla dominating the entire composition. The opening was unpleasant, and I could barely detect any tobacco, despite it being one of the main notes. To me, it smells more like a luxurious liquid soap than a masculine fragrance. The only positive is the performance. The projection and longevity are excellent. But personally, I don’t want to project a scent that makes me smell like a full-time baklava chef.
Naxos is genuinely crazy, it looks and smells like its a $500 dollar frag. I'd say its for a certain occasion because its so complex and rich, it is a honey and subtle tobacco but mixed with some airy, luxurious lavender and mint type of smell that reminds you of a hotel. 9.8/10
I live on the doorstep of Provence, and every summer I rediscover this fragrance in the fields — slightly less sweet and honeyed. After the distillation of the lavender, the straw is spread back onto the same fields. These spent lavenders perfume the hills of the Drôme magnificently. Every time I ride past these fields, I think of Naxos, which for me is based two-thirds on this sublime natural scent. In these hot summer fields covered with lavender straw, one finds the tobacco, warm, spicy, almost vanilla-like side — so far from traditional lavender oil. This is the image that Naxos inspires in me.
Fairly new to the game, but I've never smelled anything like this before. I love it. Will be purchasing.
It's like 70% cashmeran and 20% ethyl maltol and tonka. It smells good but it's extremely sweet and pretty basic for the extortionate price.
Quite a ride! The opening made me feel like I'd stuck my nose into an herbs jar; for some reason I smelled basil among other herbs. (Probably the lavender/bergamot combo playing tricks on me.) Then it unfolded into the most intoxicating beeswax scent, almost photorealistic, that had me all giddy and excited. Smelled deeply sensual and sexy to me at this point, while still being clean, at times veering into honey soap territory. Unfortunately as the hours went by, the lavender stayed dominant on my skin and at times even became more pronounced, in a way that was a bit exhausting and occasionally reminded me of BO. I think because the scent is so dense overall, it started to bother me. I'm quite sensitive to strong smells in general, so this is a me problem for sure, because the blend itself is phenomenal. Overall a really beautiful fragrance that I was obsessed with until it became too much, too loud. But I'm sure it's something I'd love to smell on others, just not on myself for too long.
Smells literally like nivea man black schampoo but worse
Idk. I keep trying this one. It's a slightly different experience each time, but I never really *love* it. The opening is all bergamot for me and it is BITTER. sometimes, underneath it, I think I get cinnamon and the "mild spicy aspect" of bergamot, but I can't prove I'm not imagining it. eventually the citrus does become pleasant and I can briefly enjoy a little spice. other times, we skip over that entirely and go straight into honey vanilla. by this point, it's really a very enjoyable scent, just not unique. also, it seems like the citrus notes project much farther than the rest, so I don't get much of the best part. last thoughts: at least on me, it's not at all a cool weather scent. it's bright as day, it's spring cleaning, it's bees and pollen, and eventually a nice little scoop of ice cream. update: on fabric, I don't get that bitterness and the sweetness lingers a bit better, so it's a more pleasant experience, just still pretty simple to me. layer with just a hint of obsession ck to deepen it!
I don't know that there is another fragrance out there that is so versatile, and yet so original. There are a lot of fragrances that work all 4 seasons, but they tend to be dull and uninspiring. There are also a lot of unconventional and interesting fragrances, but they tend to limit occasions to wear them by their nature. Naxos is the rare, dare I say unique, beast that is both at the same time. I can not thing of a single bit of weather, or a single occasion, in which it would be inappropriate to wear it. It is also just so interesting. It has so many notes during its evolution. The smell is intoxicating. It is sweet. It would be cloying, if it weren't for the spices, lavender, and citrus. Each of those balances the honey and tonka at different moments. I never notice the lavender and citrus at the same time. They seem to trade off their turns to keep the sweetness grounded. It is really just so well blended. I never get tired of it. Performance is fantastic. It would say it projects for 4-5 hours. It is a skin scent for 12. It gets constant compliments. By far my most complimented all-rounder (I have had more for gourmands in the winter, for example Via Cavor I gets raves, but it is far less versatile). If you get it on discounters, a 100ml bottle can be had for under $175 USD in the US. I can't think of a better value.
Surprised me the first time I tried it, I was expecting a typical gourmand and it wasn't that at all. Smells high quality, distinct, sweet... a more masculine take on the gourmand thing, though it still stays unisex. Interesting stuff. Very popular, and I get why. Not my favorite overall, but it's top 15-20 in my collection. Personal subjective score: 8.5/10
Headache inducing
Too sweet, but not excruciatingly so. Opens sweet and very fresh, if a bit generic. Dries down to some "dry" spice, but the sweetness and floral/lavender vanilla remains the dominant driver of the scent. Pass.
Naxos Xerjoff is fragrance the started my fragrance addition. Thank you Naxos Xerjoff for making me explore the fragrance world. CAN’T STOP WANT STOP🫡!
Now I can feel what it means when someone call you “sweetheart” and “honey” altogether! Didn’t notice tobacco and notice tonka clearly 9/10
