Comme une Evidence Yves Rocher (Store Test), I believe the original formula in 2003 is long-gone as we meet new regulation. I have smell this one against they newer release L'evidence while I decide my new daily scent. I believe the site now introduce citrus, Damask Rose and Patchouli - kind of neo-chypre experience. This one against L'evidence feel more classic, it has more patchouli in base, lite touch of moss. And musk to create Chypre feel. While L'evidence go more Ambery (clean amber, in minimal amount). Still It is one of classic fragrance line that easy to buy and giving us a floral-chypre experience. No brainer.

For me, it smells too old-fashioned and heavy, like those heavy rose essential massage oils; the rose scent is too intense and definitely not suitable for young people

idk about this one. maybe my bottle is too old but it smells like cologne to me. a VERY strong headache inducing floral, at least to my nose. it has a nice ish powdery dry down but it’s also very old lady purse-ish.

A very clean and elegant fragrance for casual use. Very versatile, very comfortable, easy on the nose. I repurchased it many times and will probably do so in the future.

This used to be my signature scent, and I was truly obsessed with it. I repurchased it many times and always kept backups when it was on sale. Since I love florals, this perfume was perfect for me — very floral, feminine, fresh, and easy to wear. It never felt offensive, and I always received compliments when wearing it. On me, it lasts well, especially on hair and clothes, with moderate but noticeable projection. It feels youthful, elegant, and very suitable for spring and summer. It’s also a safe choice for office wear and everyday use. Unfortunately, the price has gone up over the years and it’s now rarely discounted. At the current price, I don’t find it as justifiable as before. If I find a good deal, I would happily repurchase it, but I wouldn’t buy it at full price anymore

I got it in 2021, and back then, I loved it. One time I went to a shop, and the saleswoman immediately asked me if that was Evidence and told me it smelled fantastic. After that, I forgot about it for a couple of years. Today I decided to give it another try, and I see where the "mom fragrance" comment is coming from. In the beginning, it has that typical rose note that older women sometimes wear (at least where I live), and tbh it was almost nauseating. Later on, you get a nice lily-of-the-valley note, maybe a bit of patchouli, and that's it. However, I agree that it has gotten worse over time, as if now it's more alcoholic and synthetic simultaneously, and when I smell it, I can feel it in my throat. Probably wouldn't want to wear it anymore.

Delicate, feminine, safe white floral perfume that can be used all year round.

I got this as a present couple of years ago and first I really liked it and wore it almost every day. Although a bit boring, it's a sophosticated and elegant floral fragrance. It’s versatile enough to wear year-round, but it truly shines in the spring thanks to the prominent lily of the valley note. Unfortunately, after less than a year, the fragrance seemed to change—it started to smell more alcoholic than floral. I’m not sure if it was a batch issue or if the formula just didn’t age well, but because of that, I had to discard the last bit I had. Still, I used about 40 ml out of the 50 ml bottle, so it wasn’t a total waste.

Too much flowers, could give a headache to some people

This is a very sophisticated and beautiful fragrance and it does not feel outdated, more like a timeless classic - light and fresh yet has depth and character. It also has a very beautiful Lilly of the valley note, my favorite execution with this note so far, as it does not smell harsh or synthetic! Great find!

A feminin soft, longlasting fragrance. I think anybody who wants to smell clean with an extra can wear this. Idole-lovers would love it.

Comme une Evidence is clearly not for everyone. There’s rose and lily of the valley, sure, but also a big ladle of patchouli and oakmoss, which, for me, puts it squarely in the "old-fashioned" category. I imagine it could appeal to fans of chypres or vintage-style perfumes, but for me, it’s a no.

Basic too basic for me. Floral but cheap floral always worn by someone who will judge your perfumes. It reminds me of hospitals or those clean government buildings.

by the time bought this, my nose blindness was through the roof and i still wasn't able to choose something to get and this is like the brand's best seller (i think??) so i just said fvck it and got it. so it was kinda like a blind buy. i normally like floral scents but i don't like this one for some reason, maybe it's just too floral for me??? idk i cannot exactly point out what i don't like about it but i doubt i'll be wearing it anytime soon. side note: it kind of smells like my grandma's old house. love that but i just can't imagine smelling it on myself.

listen, it smells nice, i'm just a not a floral girlie myself. it's also a bit more on the mature side imo, gifted this to my mom. if you just wanna smell nice without anything extra and are into florals, i'd say it's a safe blind buy.

The kind of fragrance I smell on someone and love but never pick from myself. It's a fragrance that a daughter of a doctor and an engineer would wear. Not extremely rich but well off. Her hair is naturally dark blond. She never worried about money and she is effortlessly feminine. A bit basic but in a secure way.

When I first got it I wasn't a big fan. It's a very feminine, soft, inoffensive floral scent. I pick up a lot of rose. I continued using it in the spring/summer and I definitely love it a lot more! Very easy to wear, would be great for the office as well.

very feminine, refreshing and classy I always dreamed that if i could smell the air of heaven it will probably be smelling like this I love this perfume so so so much and I think this is type of smell that brings back lots of good memories but lacks of longevity and sillage on me

It's a light, fresh, daytime-and-office-appropriate green floral. Not super-exciting, but easy to wear and I find myself reaching for it now and again. I appreciate the decidedly non-gourmet nature of it.

It’s a mom perfume.

Very similar to Blooming Bouquet by Dior and Zara's dupe Lightly Blooming. While Dior's version gives me headaches, this one does not and lasts longer also. Dior's is slightly different and fresher, but unfortunately I was not able to wear it and sadly gave it away. This version (from 2024 with the gold cap) is a great alternative!

Soft, elegant, floral perfume. It's pleasant, but there's a note in the opening that doesn't quite fit with the rest of the composition. It is sharp and overwhelms and slightly suffocates me, maybe it's the sharpness of rhubarb? It calms down a bit later, but the impression remains. Surprisingly good longevity, the sillage quickly becomes close to the skin.

I like this version too, but I think the "Intense" version of Evidence is my favourite. This is great for summer & spring seasons. Pairs well with its body lotion from the same line!

I tried this many times (I love your tiny perfume tester packs, Yves Rocher!), I have the deodorant and body lotion of it, and I like it very much (just not enough for buying, I guess? I planned to buy it multiple times and always bought something else, and now I feel like I didn't appreciate it enough.). Fresh, feminine, classy, definitely not cloying, clean, soft...

Clean and feminine scent and it has a good projection.

Fresh, subtle, rosey, green. Not too loud yet not too soft. Very cute but not something with a lot of character.

I LOVE this fragrance, even though at the beginning it's very strong and not pleasant. But because soon enough I smell a rose bush, not just the flower. And this scent seems so nostalgic to me... Maybe even from the 80s. I got years ago many minis when it was on sale and am glad I did.

This is a review for the limited edition by Sacrée Frangine (2016?), which I believe to have the same composition. Despite loving rhubarb and violets, the initial notes sound completely different to me, like a blast to the face of intense patchouli. It mellows down into really nice, intense but not sickening Lily of the valley. It's a pleasant lasting note that gives my skin an almost soapy fresh scent. If there is a rose, it's blended so gently I can't pull it apart from the lilly. I received these perfumes as a gift but I really disliked how they smelled on me as a younger woman. They really seemed like an overwhelming "grandma" scent. For some reason, a few years later, it smells very pronounced but not old fashioned, it's almost giving me a clean girl vibe with a kick of intensity, I completely changed my mind on it. Stays on the skin and clothes for a long time. It's a bit of a bomb, so don't overdo the sprays.

I am putting my review of comme une evidence here as well as the 2017 page bc it is impossible to tell which is which bc the box says bergamot and i bought it last year but just unboxed it today, (i save purchases and give them to myself a year later as a gift:) and this says it came out in 2017, but my bottle looks like this one. My box also says nothing about violet leaf. There are so many versions and bottles and releases all having extremely similar names which is just so confusing and frustrating. I love you YR, i love your fragrances, i love your prices, i love your promos and products, but i just wish you could streamline your collections a bit more so i can trust reviews, and give accurate reviews myself for your great products. I think the confusion of all of the very similar sounding releases is detrimental to the YR brand, and ends up muddying the reviews of each separate release. Please consider a simplified mon evidence line! End rant. This is definitely very chypre, very french, very european feeling. I dont know if chypre is my favorite but i do really like this. I think it is very versatile and wearableIt is a very vintage style but yet somehow made current and relevant. It does sort of have a soapy-pink soap- church lady vibe but not in a bad way! I kinda like that vibe sometimes and i am planning to attend mass today anyway so it works out! I think the scent pyramid is very good at demonstrating the complexity of this, it has a liitle of everything! I definitely get bergamot rose and patchouli, and i love all three of these accords. I think sometimes chypre type fragrances are just too much for me, but this i feel is wearable and you will stand out simply bc it is different. It feels springy-summery, clean, innocent yet sophisticated in a weird way. I tend to like rose with citrus a lot so that works for me.

smells overwhelmingly sour to me. something in this perfume makes my sinuses itch everytime i get a whiff of it! but I generally don't like floral perfumes so take my words with a grain of salt if you're into florals. I think it is elegant and very easy to wear, it is a dainty and delicate scent. just... very sour? xD
