it really does smell like dish soap :( i’ll try to use it up by layering with other perfumes

when i originally purchased this fragrance, all i could ever smell was grapefruit! several years later, the vetiver takes center stage, turning this once youthful fragrance into something more masculine, boarding on dish soap :(

I really like this fragrance and it is beautifully made but the dry down feels to masculine for me. The opening is such a fresh and delicious grapefruit. I'd recommend any guy who like woody citruses to try this out!

Realistic grapefruit and vetiver. Wish this had an extra note for more complexity, however, it's a likable and easy-to-wear perfume. Smell: 7 out of 10 Strength: 6 out of 10 Unisex For reference, I'm female.

Another good scent from Jo Malone…….I just love her nose!!!! She does fresh scents to perfection. I love this and only wish her great scents would last longer but I suppose that’s because of the notes. This is a great scent to wear for fresh smell

I liked it, citrus is my go to smell right now. Smells like a freshly peeled orange/grapefruit. Unfortunately, it is very very weak due to scent being citrus. But I did layered it with Energetically New York Elixir and the citrus somehow last longer and it becomes a woody citrus smell. Kinda reminds me of ESSENTIAL PARFUM'S OrangeXSantal but lighter and fresher.

this is a explosion of grapefruit, very citrus and it does reminds me of Jo Malone London scents... this feels more like a body splash, since it last maximum of 1 hour... I tested in several occasions and this is my verdict, but for the price, it is what it is... I wouldn't buy this again

smells like 100 plus hydration drink

I blind bought this based on reviews here. I adore how Jo Malone does crisp citrusy fruity summer (Lime Basil Mandarin being my forever favourite) fragrances without a hint of sweetness, and this one has her scent dna. The fresh opening of grapefruit is wonderful, which settles into a drier vetiver with an element of mandarin. It gives sunny, warm summer afternoons and makes you happy. You have to pack it on your clothes for impact, but Mediterranean summers are very hot where I live and I can only stand such light, uplifting, airy scents. Very impressive stuff from Zara.

Last year, when I got this perfume, the grapefruit note was hyperrealistic. This year vetiver is more prominent. It's a very basic scent. I guess my tastes have changed, as I no longer enjoy this perfume. It's very weak but I can still smell it on clothes a couple of hours after spraying, if I stick my nose in it. I would rather pay more money for a perfume I can actually enjoy all day long.

Very simple citrus. The opening is an amazing fresh grapefruit, but it turns into a toilet cleaner scent as it sits on the skin :(. The dry down is pretty disappointing

Citrus perfumes aren’t exactly known for their longevity. Jo Malone’s usually vanish quite quickly, and Zara’s in a blink, so this perfume won’t last an hour. But honestly, I couldn’t care less with this one. Vetiver Pamplemousse might not last hours, but the few moments it does are an absolute delight. The mandarin and grapefruit are bang on the sweet and tart line, bright, juicy, and ridiculously realistic, like slicing into a fresh fruit in the sun. The vetiver stays in the background, giving it just enough depth to keep things interesting without stealing the show. It’s completely gender neutral; maybe the citrus zest leans ever so slightly masculine, but the sweetness of the grapefruit brings it right back to the middle. I’d go as far as saying it’s one of the best Zara’s ever made. It’s been a permanent in my collection since it launched. The new bottle and spray are honestly brilliant too, sleek, chic, and way better than Zara’s older designs. I layer it over other scents to bring some daytime sparkle, or just spray it at home whenever I need a hit of citrusy joy. Oh, and if you’re tempted by the “elixir” version in the amber bottle, please don’t be. It starts off quite as yummy, but turns heavy and weird real fast. Hard pass.

This is one of Zara’s best offerings. It’s fresh juicy grapefruit and husky, woody, vetiver. This is aromatic this is citrus spraying into the air as you pinch the grapefruit flesh. Simple and straightforward and natural like most Jo Malone’s. It’s extremely unisex and as most citrus fragrance fans can tell you they are going to be somewhat fleeting so overspray a bit.

I just received the EdP but on a different bottle (the same as the Elixir but transparent). I simply love the fact that the small amount of advertised notes are right there. No surprises. You get Grapefruit with a bit of mandarin to uplift even more the citrus notes and vetiver. This is the type of Vetiver that I personally enjoy. It’s closer to a white wood than to a classical vetiver. An uplifting, proper, attractive and casual fragrance.

This is a delicious fragrance: when you spray it you get shocked by an extraordinarily nice and beautifully natural-smelling grapefruit, very craftily supported by a distant and faint woody note (vetiver? It does not smell exactly like that). Beautiful. And after 45' it completely vanishes. It is gone. Nothing. It is lovely but disappointingly fleeting.

Beautiful, fresh grapefruit scent. The grapefruit in there is photorealistic. Like you stuff your nose into a zesty, fresh, delicious grapefruit. As it's more of a fresh perfume it's not the strongest, but more of a refreshment scent. Great for the warmer months. Really beautiful and fantastic price, too (£30 for 100ml).

It's so odd. I never like the Jo Malone scents that bear her name. But a few of her Zara perfumes are favorites. This one is clean, fresh, and not a dull overdone citrus.

Lovely grapefruit with not too prominent vetiver (for me this is preffered.) Juicy, fruity, fresh, zesty, a litle sweet (not bitter grapefruit but also not too sweet.) Overall another great one for the summer and another one that stood out to me at the zara counter but, as always with zara you get what you get in terms of strength and lasting power (however as it's a citrus even expensive ones will float off in half an hour.) So all in all a pretty good deal for about 30£ / 100 m.

Smells great inside the bottle but quickly dried down to what seems like a cleaning detergent scent. When I smelled my wrist after 30min, I get a pomelo (lighter than the cutting grapefruit) scent oil that smells natural

I used to have an orange essential oil that smelled exactly like this. So this is what I would picture, it smells like orange essential oil. Very citrus, a tad herbal, amazing wear to sleep.

Yeah, I don’t know about this one. You can smell the vetiver at first, very faintly, but then it completely disappears and the grapefruit stays. It’s obviously very citrusy and kind of soapy too. Although, I’d describe the scent as a rather lemon scent and not that bitter grapefruit scent. It’s not bitter enough. On the brighter side, if you want to smell EXACTLY like lemons, then buy it lol. Edit: I’m actually pissed off. WHERE IS THE VETIVER JO MALONE??? WHERE IS IT???? 😡😡😡😡😡😡

The 2024 Elixir version is indeed longer lasting, but also more floral, which makes it more feminine in my opinion. Not exactly for me then but I'd love a woman smelling like this

I dont understand the hype, Okay I acknowledge the fact that this fragrance smells very natural. A citrus bitter peel with a slight very week vetiver undertone. And this is it. Super week longevety. You can spray this and after 10 min no one around tou gonna be able to smell it. On clothes might last longer, however even if the price so low, I won’t recommend it to everyone. Only for citrus fragrance addicts. For everyone else it will be a disappointment due to no performance.

If you have a limited budget, own light blue or the likes, and are not into layering, skip this one. As others mentioned below, it is a veeeeeery linear and photorealistic grapefruit fragrance. There's literally nothing else to it. I bought it because yt snobs were hyping it up, but it’s a "tonic" fragrance clearly made for layering. If you want your perfume to do all the work, invest your $45 elsewhere. Performance is okay for a citrus scent. Very potent in the first 30 minutes, stays on the skin for around 2–3 hours, and on clothes for maybe 5–6 hours.
