Its sad how close the opening is to aventus. Withtin 15 minutes it fades to smelling like pepper up close to your skin, before disappearing at minute 20. Works as an air freshner at best

When I first got it, 10/10. After maceration, 11/10. Great smell (of course super close to aventus), great projection and great longevity. Dry down is my favorite part about this fragrance. It is just too good, both on skin and on clothes. Have gotten compliments specifically after macerating.

I stumbled onto this (though I now remember seeing a few reviews on it). Just seemed to catch a deal and I blind bought it and am happy about it. The bottle I have is a 200 ml and I understand why, I can see wearing this regularly. It has a very good atomizer so one spray might be enough for an equivalent of two sprays (one vertical or horizontal spray across the chest is already fine for me). After some time wearing it off and on I definitely understand multiple different reviews that seem to conflict with each other but regardless of that I truly like it. It is a manly scent that has a woody overall scent but is multi-faceted (best word I can think for it) due to citrus and a musk-like note, in that order. It is interesting how I occasionally perceive the citrus as more of a candy-type of vibe (though not sweet) compared to a cleaning product one. Regardless, wearing it conveys a "put together" vibe that seems to even have me reconsider what I'm wearing clothing-wise at times after I've sprayed it on. I am at the point now where I am trying to layer it with other fragrances too. Adding that masculine woodsy-musk to other scents seems to work very well. I prefer to have L-Aventure not be on my clothes when layering as I feel it is strong enough to be smelled without that. Some I have layered it with are: - Missoni Wave (which boots a little of the citrus but later adds the creamy dry down to the woods). One spray of L-Aventure to 2 sprays of Missoni Wave. I spray Missoni Wave on my neck area while spraying L-Aventure on upper chest (where it shows with a t-shirt or open polo buttons). - Asad Elixir (changes Asad Elixir's sweetness to be even more masculine somehow without losing it in the process. It's like an alternate vibe to my Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition, sweeter to be specific). Currently 1-to-1 in sprays in my preference. I spray Asad Elixir 2nd, letting L-Aventure dry down a little first. I also have sprayed Asad Elixir on clothing with L-Aventure on my skin under clothing. ...still in progress I'll add more as I proceed with more tests.

Almost 1:1 to Aventus, missing the smoky note of Aventus, though its got more smokiness than explorer by montblanc. For the price you really can’t go wrong.

The opening is very nice, sweet citrusy—I like the lemon scent, a bit salty, sour, and woody; and initially at least, reminds me more of Eros Energy than Aventus due to the sweet lemon. The drydown gets a bit muskier, smokier, and woodier with a potent pencil shavings scent, and closer to Aventus. Comparing it side by side with Aventus, it is definitely not a 1:1 dupe by any stretch of the imagination. Its good, but not an exact recreation. ✅Great

Can anyone answer whether the quality of L'Aventure, the Intense version, is better than this?

An excellent take on the Aventus DNA - honestly, far superior to CDNIM LE. The lemon note, while still prominent, is much smoother and refined, avoiding the harsh, synthetic “lemon pledge” vibe that CDNIM is often criticized for. Performance is impressive straight out of the box. It projects strongly for around 2 hours, then settles into a pleasant scent bubble for another 4–6 hours, before becoming a skin scent that lasts up to 8 hours. On my skin, this actually outperforms the LE in terms of projection. It also feels noticeably lighter and smoother compared to any CDNIM variant I’ve tried (and I’ve tried them all before settling on the LE). This addresses one of the biggest complaints about CDNIM - that it can come across as overly heavy. Overall, money very well spent. Definitely backup-bottle worthy if you’re a fan of the Aventus-style profile. 9.5/10

Prefer it over montblanc explorer. Idk how avenus smells but i like the lemon freshness from this one.

In terms of closeness to Aventus with the smell, it's 1:1. I literally sprayed this on onr arm and Aventus on the other and it's the same. Nobody could tell the difference. Now in terms of longevity and projection is where you'll notice the difference. For me, on my skin, it lasts long enough. However, if you wanna put this on in the morning and still smell it after a night out, you'll be disappointed. But spray it again before you go out and you'll be set.

Too much citrusy - in bad way. It started to bother me. Club de nuit is more spicy. Longevity is very poor. Would not count it as goof clone for creed aventus.

It smells like citrus and pencil shavings/graphite. It doesn't last very long at all, maybe an hour or two unless you're sniffing the skin you sprayed it on. No silage after that time. I see reviews saying to let it rest in the bottle a few days after first spray, but I wonder if I'd shaken it first, if it would've been better distributed? It was incredibly synthetic/smokey the first few days, but that may have been the heaviest materials at the bottom of the bottle spraying out. It was about $25US so it's fine for that price. Aventus/Explorer enough.

It smells good, not a perfect clone of Aventus. It takes the smoke out of Aventus, making it fresher, which I do like. On the other hand, I also do not get any pineapple, which I would want in this fragrance. I get about 5 hours of decent projection with about another 2 hours on skin. A cleaner take on Aventus making it more of an "inspired by" and as a standalone is still a nice fragrance. the dry down is nice. Longevity definitely improved as I had it over several months. I like it enough to wear, but would not buy another bottle

This stuff smells so good in the air and compared to my aventus(2024 batch) it smells better because of the reformulation and how smoky it is. Aventure takes away the smokiness and leans more fruity. Preformance is 10/10 and def recommend

Careful not to judge straight out the box, i was disappointed the first time i sprayed this, after 3 days of letting it sit it has already come around, hopefully develops even more until summer rolls around, good buy.

It smells fantastic, but you have to spray like 20 times and even then it doesn't project very well. On skin for me its about an hour or two at most. My bottle is from 2024, and I've had it on the shelf for about a month or two. It's too bad that its this weak.

Waaaaaaay better than CDNIM, get the hell outta here intense man haha. CDNIM dry down doesnt even compete with laventure’s dry down and dont get me started on the opening, dont even try to convince me youre not gonna win. Dont get me wrong, I like other Armaf stuff like Iconic, which is my daily driver. Its like CDNIM is John Cena and L’Aventure is Henry Caville, who do you wanna be haha.

I really like this. Recently bought it and have worn it for 2 weeks straight. I've worn CDNIM and I think this is better overall. It's cleaner and better blended to me. I get the similar citrusy open, but it is not as tart as CDNIM. The lemon and bergomot is dominant to my nose..and then I pick up the woods and amber which gives it the depth..but not hat heavy "smokiness" Definitely a more fresh and citrusy take on Aventus. It's gotten me several compliments already. It's a keeper.

I've (M37) smelled lots of Aventus clones, but never the OG. I decided to pull the trigger on this one. My wife (F33) loved it right away. She likes classic masculine frags. I honestly thought it smelled like some toilet cleaning product. Pure citrus. Two days later, you could really smell a pineapple note. My wife is crazy over this one, and she really has a defined taste in fragrances. I couldn't care less about Aventus, batches, birch, etc. Give it a few days and this thing rocks, for next to nothing. Performance? Not a problem at all.

Synthetic citrus with a pleasant woody dry down 4/10

I am looking for the best aventus clone, and this is not it. The opening not good, very unpleasent Drydown, meh. Nothing special. Recommendation: Do not buy

This is an Aventus clone with a less synthetic opening than Club de Nuit Intense Homme Limited Edition (CDNILE). It’s citrusy and reminds me of the pineapple notes in Aventus. The most affordable ''decent'' Aventus clone. (without the smoky, mossy, birchy notes) It’s not for everyone, but I’d say it’s generally well-received by women over 30. The projection reaches about arm’s length, and the longevity is around 6–7 hours before it starts fading into a skin scent after about 10–11 hours. (Sillage and longevity may vary depending on how much you spray.) I wouldn’t recommend over spraying this fragrance — instead, I suggest using a travel atomizer. This fragrance works well for winter, autumn, and spring evenings, as well as fresh summer nights.

Same as CDNI to me so I'll just copy and paste my comment - Harsh synthetic citrus toilet cleaner smell with hints of a burnt rubber, not my style.

Okay, don’t yell at me. Opening is aventus-ish? Dry down after about 2-3 hours is damn near Morning Chess from Vilhelm Parfumerie. Stays on skin 12+ hours For $25 it’s worth it to have, especially if you enjoy that bergamot from morning chess.

Received this in a mini set. I'm a fan of it, although it's a little outside of what I usually go for, so I gave it to my partner who prefers this DNA (this in fact is the only fragrance he uses right now, and I will probably buy him a full bottle when he's finished with it). Opens with a slightly bitter lemon peel; that's really all I get from the opening but it quickly melts back to join a masculine grassy, musky, and slightly woody blend that smells amazing. I don't think it plays with my skin chemistry the best but for my partner it's absolutely perfect. He thinks it would be better with a hint of sweetness but is happy with it as it is. It projects decently depending on how much you use, but the longevity as a skin scent is where it really is great. I'm interested in trying the Intense version to see how that's different.

I use fragrantica all the time but finally created an account just to post this review! L'aventure is a monster at longevity smells very close to my Creed I'd say 95% but outlasts it. When I first got it I wasn't impressed by the smell or the longevity. smelled like lemon pledge so I used it a few times sat on the Shelf and came back after 2 or 3 months and wow completely different animal!! It gets more potent and longer lasting once you get some oxygen in the bottle and let it sit. The longevity is 11 out of 10 nuclear lasting sometimes i work 14-16 hr days and can still smell it on me! Also the older it gets the smoother it gets And resembles Creed even more. When I wear this stuff my shirt smells like it days later in the laundry and when I wear it I usually have to take my gold necklace off and wash it and dip it in jewelry cleaner to kill the L'aventure it just dont want to let go once u spray it lol! So if u need a creed stunt double like i did this will do the job while lasting much longer!

Lime and Pine. That's all I smell. Like I hosed myself down with Aspen and Lime Juice. It's revolting. Having also tried Explorer, and hearing this is the closest clone of all, I have to say the Aventus DNA is not for me at all.

This is Aventus, but the new version without birch — basically a clone of the new, weaker one.

Okay let’s get this straight. I bought a 1,7 ml of Creed Aventus and 2 ml decant of Al Haramain L’Aventure since i heard it’s one of the best Aventus dupes. To me the 2022 batch of Aventus smells fruity, fresh and masculine with an undertone of birch that gives it that slightly smoky vibe overall i really love the way Aventus smells like but i simply can’t justify the price even tho performace is ok, which is where Al Haramain L’Aventure comes in. When i first sprayed this on i could definitely tell it smells similar to the Aventus decant but it smelled a bit too synthetic and lemony with no signs of pineapple or birch maybe about 80% similar. Then i left the decant in my drawer for almost a month and this is where the whole story changes. Now the L’aventure smells more rich i get fruity notes that smell exactly like Aventuses does, and is smells masculinw aswell with and undertone of birchy smokiness. When i smelled them side by side the difference is so extremely slight. Overall the performance is now great it smells about 95% similar to Aventus and honestly there is no way people will be able to tell the difference between the two off you skin they simply smell way to similar to each other. Overall the best clone of Aventus and for the price it simply makes the Aventus redundant in my opinion. 10/10
