No no this isn’t it at all. There is a little cherry syrup cough medicine note, along with my new nemesis heliotrope and rose.

This is one where i’m very split on. I bought a sample back in january thinking that i would love it, upon smelling it all i got was a dirty diaper smell. Now it is 6 months later and i was looking around my sample box and found the sample- the juice had completely changed color, when i went to spray it i immediately got a super powdery- almost makeup like smell which i personally love, but again in the dry down it was still smelling almost diaper reminiscent.

Redoing this review. I was incorrect, my sample was not mislabeled. This fragrance is just very different from what I expected. May have to revisit it another few months from now...again. I just CAN'T seem to pick up on any of the heliotrope/amaretto notes. I smell cherry, lilac, and a heavy dose of vintage-y powder. Its lovely, but too mature for me. I also suspect this would be polarizing to the general public for its mature qualities, excluding fragrance hobbyists.

This one is horrible IMHO. The appearance of the bottle is misleading- it's not nice pink composition. It's about amaretto liquor, very overwhelming, not pleasant. The only desire is not to spot anything around you with a molecules of this creation :)

Absolutely beautiful! I tend to dismiss cherry blossom fragrances for being too “pink” and naïve for me… and although this is ultra feminine, the amaretto and suede notes here make it much more interesting and womanly. Inviting and charming, but with depth. Sweet, boozy and powdery… a bubbly, but strong scent, perfect for a special spring night or fall day! Also super strong sillage and beast mode longevity.

a gental lips kiss with a lipstick after you just had an ammaretto drink

Really classic, feminine profile with a slight modern twist thanks to the amaretto. If you don't like powder, BEWARE! This is a powder BOMB. The heliotrope and suede carry that powder throughout the entire olfactory experience. Personally, I love it. But I can understand if people find this to be a dated or mature scent profile. The almond is definitely there, but I find myself wishing it was just a tad more pronounced. Overall, I definitely get a cherry blossom feel and this is stunning during the spring. The longevity and silage are excellent as always. Will last on your clothes for DAYS. You don't need much of this to make a strong impression! Rating: 7/10

A quiet Cherry bloom It’s that time of year when cherry blossoms bloom in Finland, although unfortunately they don’t carry much of a scent. I have four fragrances in my collection that feature cherry blossom, and Amouage’s Blossom Love is one of them - listed here as cherry blossom nectar. It feels as subtle as the flower itself and to my nose it’s even weaker than Dior’s Sakura which lingers beautifully and astonishingly well in the air. The note breakdown of Blossom Love gives an illusion of much heavier scent than it is and even if Sakura is fresh, airy and sophisticated, it has somehow more power in it. Given my previous comparison, it's probably no surprise that I find this to be the most delicate fragrance in the Secret Garden collection and perhaps the least fitting within Amouage’s catalogue. At times I wonder if I’m almost anosmic to it, because after the opening I can barely detect it on myself. The fragrance feels like an innocent, warm whisper of sweet cherry liqueur. It’s cotton-soft, slightly creamy, and effortlessly feminine in a youthful way. Despite the creamy notes, it never feels heavy. It remains linear, easy to wear, and comfortingly soft throughout. The cherry in this fragrance is not juicy, loud and brash, as it is in so many fragrances. It is truly the delicate aroma of a petals, just bursting into bloom and then soaked in syrupy nectar. The scent is not realistically boozy despite the two notes - rose liqueur and Amaretto - that suggest it is clearly "dessert liqueur-like". Instead, the liqueur aroma is like a non-alcoholic sugary dessert drink made for children, if that makes sense. That's what it reminds me of. I do wonder if my nose is unusually sensitive to Cashmeran, because that note feels slightly distracting here, and I can’t think of what else might be causing it. I’m not entirely sure why it was included, especially since it doesn’t seem to improve the fragrance’s longevity. Even without it, the scent would feel like a warm embrace - fluffy, cozy, sensual, blush and beautifully enveloping. NOTES Top: Cherry blossom nectar, Rose liqueur Middle: Yang-Ylang, Amaretto, Vanilla Base: Cashmeran, Tonka bean, Sandalwood Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review and it was helpful. I love a sleeper scent… the kind you almost overlook at first, only for it to circle back and completely steal your attention when you least expect it. At first spray, this felt like a whisper. Barely there. Just a faint, slightly dusty rose that had me completely unimpressed. I actually wrote it off after getting a sample from LS. Forgotten. Dismissed. Practically exiled. To be fair, Amouage does mention on their website that this one benefits from a little maceration time… and honestly, that tracks. Because what showed up later felt like an entirely different fragrance. Then curiosity nudged me. I had a decant of Guidance 46 and thought, maybe just maybe, Blossom Love might lean more into that rose lane. What happened instead? An absolute bloom burst. 🌸 Out of nowhere, it unfurled into this radiant cherry blossom cloud with the softest rose and vanilla woven through it. Not heavy. Not powdery. Just airy, creamy, and beautifully blended. I swear I could see it… fluffy pink clouds drifting across a pale blue sky. And just like that, obsession. This is not mature in the traditional sense. It is playful, feminine, a little dreamy, and completely captivating without trying too hard. The kind of scent that makes you lean in closer without realizing it. And now here is the part that makes it feel almost mythical… there is a rumor this might be discontinued. 😭 So yes… this just went from nice surprise to cherish this bottle like it is the last petal on earth. Absolutely bottle worthy. No hesitation.

This was a blind buy for me. Upon first sniff very pungent and piss like reminds me of the Asiatic lilies put it back in the box to send back Decided to give it a second try the next day and oh my gosh! Not sure what happened but my nose changed its mind. I keep getting wafs of it and oh my gosh the smell is divine. You have to give it a while and maybe a second chance??? it is definitely a true love for me!

Blossom Love is light, graceful, and feminine. It unfolds quietly on the skin, making it perfect for those who prefer gentle, romantic florals over bold or spicy perfumes.

Initially, I found it to be an essential product that I didn't like at all. Its complex structure bothered me a bit. However, its performance is amazing. And of course, I would never recommend using it in hot climates. But as I tried it, I started to get to know it and like it. It seems the ice between us melted, because when someone else found it very essential and funny, I didn't agree with them 😄🥰

After several consecutive days of wear and upon reflection, Blossom Love has become a very strong "like" from a just "OK." For starters Blossom Love feels unusual because this fragrance is UNLIKE any other perfume I've ever owned, sampled, or experienced...bar none. Initially, I had a difficult time with the rather pungent opening, which I wasn't prepared for. I imagine it's the heliotrope that initially felt unusual, & unkind. But I'm unfamiliar with heliotrope notes. The opening is a sharp, astringent, slightly sour, medicinal, cherry accord. I definitely detect amaretto in the mix, which only contributes to the fragrance's medicinal, boozy, cherry opening. But the perfume quickly unfolds on skin. As it does, Blossom Love becomes a sweet, hazy, powdery, creamy, cherry-vanilla, floral fragrance with a boozy-almond backbone. The perfume is super-light, ethereal and diaphanous. Now strangely, I cannot stop sniffing myself after applying the perfume. There is something eerily addictive about this fragrance.

At first spray I wasn’t sure I liked this as it was a super floral hit to the nostrils. However the dry down proved to be another matter where it became much creamier to my once the top notes faded into the background giving the vanilla and suede a chance to shine.

Once again, I had been hearing a lot about this fragrance and felt an urge to try it. I bought an original sample. In the evening, I applied it to my arm. It was quite strong and vivid - it drowned out all the other smells around me. A feeling of something from the past arose inside me. But I couldn’t remember what exactly the scent reminded me of. And then, before going to bed, I brought my wrist close to my nose and kept inhaling the fragrance. At some point (it didn’t happen quickly), I suddenly understood what that memory was. I’m 16 years old. I’m saving money on school lunches to buy a soap that’s advertised on TV, the one that’s “¼ moisturizing cream.” I buy the soap, and I’m so happy - because now I own it and can use it. After the purchase, I open the box and smell the soap for the first time. That soap was the original Dove (in the white-and-blue packaging). Yes, yes - Amouage Blossom Love is, for me, an exact match to that scent. It even tickles my nose in the same way.

Анонім★★★★★

I love it! Smells lighter compared to Lilac Love. The cherry blossom and heliotrope stand out to me from the first spray and then it turned very powdery after awhile and it stays for long. Wore it in the morning and it smells like soap by the end of the day. Careful bc I got complain from people that the smell is overwhelming 😂 But I love it regardless tho

I blind bought this and was really disappointed. It smells very clean and floral, but a little bit chemically and nauseating. I sold it, because I felt like it smelt like a child's perfume or a grandma fragrance.

I Love this fragrance. However, I didn't like it that much at first. But all I got were compliments. Even when I couldn't smell it myself. I stopped wearing it for a while. A few months. I had just got out of the shower and was lightly sprayed with the lightweight Argan oil. I went to my closet looking for a particular garment and saw the perfume. I took it out and gently inverted he bottle a couple of times (twice). I sprayed it liberally. In a couple minutes it was absolutely beautiful. For me the rose liquor, cherry blossom, and suede with a light amaretto and rose scent. Is exactly what this smells like to me. I never thought about a suede note be pleasant. But as a third note of the top three main notes that you smell throughout the main essence of the perfume. It's absolutely beautiful and so soft. Especially under the Rose liquor, cherry 🌸 blossom, the suede then the mixture of amaretto and rose. I don't smell much of anything else. Except maybe a bit of Heliotrope. Which smells like cherry, amaretto a bit of vanilla and a floral. Which are already the main smelling notes of this perfume. So perhaps the bit of Heliotrope is to just made to really emphasize and blend the previous notes. Interestingly enough, for a perfume listed as a floral. This would definitely be great in the winter months. I would definitely recommend letting this macerate "sit" for a while before wearing it. It definitely works best on clean skin, that's been dried and lightly moisturized. It really clings to fabrics. I sprayed a bit on a shaw I just washed and hung outside to dry and air out. I sprayed it the next day. Placed it on a hanger in the closet. When I went to wear it the fragrance was there. It was obvious and hung in there for a while. If you're looking for something that smells very close to this. But don't want to use your car payment to pay for it. There's a perfume that is not listed on this database. It's DUA: Lovely Blossom 🌸 Again, let it sit for a month or two. The difference in letting the scent mancerate is remarkable. Makes an enormous difference.

It’s taken 5 times on sampling over 3 months to go from - not for me to I love it! I purchased a bottle two months ago and I have to say that is one of my most favorite perfumes in my collection. The profile might consider typical in today’s perfume choices, but there is no contender. I’m a lover of Amouage fragrances and this is another A+

Анонім★★★★★

Waaaaay too much amaretto, vanilla, and powder. There is nothing “blossom” about it, at least in my skin. I was hoping for something like spring blossoms, because it’s a hot day outside. I’m not sure when you could wear this actually. Reminds me of Chanel’s Comete, except even more dense.

Анонім★★★★★

I wanted to love this, but IMO this is the worst perfume that amouage has; at least on my skin. The heliotrope is super intense along with the rose. I only smell flowers- nothing else. It crosses over into a soapy old fashioned scent. It makes me nauseous and I have to wash it off. I have tested this for 2 weeks now...so idk if it would need to macerate even longer- but honestly I am over it. I don't like it. AT ALL

Анонім★★★★★

Blossom Love by Amouage is not basic. Some of the other Amouage fragrances with the word "Love" in their name are basic--Love Tuberose, I'm looking at you--but this one isn't. It is, however, ridiculously sweet, so I can see why it would send people packing for the hills. I love Blossom Love with all of its mind numbing decadence. There--I said it. This is basically an opulent sugar-coated heliotrope on a backdrop of incense. The opening displays some really beautiful floral notes--mostly a tree blossom and ylang, but those subside after 30 minutes to reveal the slightly vintage powdery floral heart--the best heliotrope, rose, and iris (I think). So. Much. Beautiful. Powder. Then the dense and wicked incense shows up and lasts for the remainder of the wear. BL is a twilight zone perfume. It is a sweet floral gourmand, so that will upset fans of traditional perfume made for "adults". On the other hand, the heavy powder and incense will throw off those who prefer sweeter, fresher, more youthful compositions. I think it is perfectly balanced, so obnoxious, and on my full bottle list. 4/5

Yeah this is weird… It lasts surprisingly long for my skin buuutt.. to me,it just smells like jasmine. That’s it-just jasmine or whatever flower it is that I’m smelling. It feels like I put on room freshener everytime I wear it though I dont mind it that much

This is so beautiful very good blend of flowers and powder and everything is masterfully mixed. I need to find myself a full bottle at a good price from one of the discount websites.

Selling my full bottle, please pm me. Sold

the suede note ruins it for me.. :( vaguely animalic funk intertwined with flowers.

Анонім★★★★★

In love!!! For me it smells like your grandma soap bar or talcoo (in the best way possible): powdery cherry flower. Springtime but you can wear it in cold weather as well. Very powdery old fashion flowery scent. If you like fleur de peau from Diptyque, you may like it. Strong, longlasting! I am not sure about sillage but l guess it decent.

Анонім★★★★★

Very sweet powdery dessert-like floral. This smells exactly like rose-flavored Turkish delight/lokum to me, or like other rose water flavored Middle Eastern desserts. I’ve eaten saffron ice cream that has rose water flavoring in it - I instantly thought of that when I smelled Blossom Love. Nice but borderline too sweet for me!

Анонім★★★★★

This smells beautiful. I was expecting this to be disgustingly powdery like the Middle Eastern Junoon Rose "dupe" but it isn't. You can tell this is a better blended fragrance. A powdery rose with a little bit of sweetness, a little bit of almond (but that may be more from the heliotrope). A little "perfumey" in that vintage floral way. It's lovely. I don't get any leather or suede at all. This is a beautiful creamy-powdery floral-gourmand, with more emphasis on the floral than the gourmand. But if the gourmand elements weren't here I wouldn't like it.
