Have had this a few months now and worn it probably 5 or 6 times. Prompted me to review after i also just obtained its newer flanker Jubilation 40. This is a luxury high end champagne with blackberrys to me, very regal, elegant and uplifting. Not as animalic or as jaw droppingly beautiful as Jubiltion 40 but it does come close with its opening and first hour or 2. XXV starts the journey and is a bit more fresh and gives me a fantastic 4-5 hour wear experience. Jub 40 is just a bit more interesting, mysterious and powerful to my nose, slightly more oudy too which i love. This was my holy grail until Jub 40 came along. Jubilation XXV is still a 10/10 fragrance, its just Jubilation 40 is 1000/10.

It smells so good to me and lasts long enough, and that alone makes it worth the price. I know I spoke generically, but that is because everyone needs to have their own experience with fragrance. The honeyed blackberry and frankincense backbone of the opening and the honeyed hay and spices in the mid are intoxicating and I love it. The wonderfully blended resins carry the scent through the hours afterwards. I wear this at the office, on dates, dining, special events, and just hanging outside with my friends. It never gets cloying nor overpowering even in summertime. 10/10

Smells so good but it’s so so weak :(

Beautifully blendend, comfy, when you wear this, you feel like a king. I even wear it in the summer, no issue at all. However its my weakest performing Amouage, 8 hour mark Edit, 12 hour mark, no performance issue anymore, its just closer to the skin, and you get noseblind faster

Heady and intoxicating opening. At times, this feels like a juicier and less dry LdDM by Tauer. I get that same desert bazaar vibe as LdDM, but more fresh and dried fruit in Jub. It is undeniably brilliant; however, not sure it is for me - I struggle to pull off these kinds of fragrances. It's the kind of perfume I am delighted to have a sample of, so that I can smell on my wrist at home but not wear out. Overall: 9/10.

Revisiting this after some time, after also trying jubilation 40. I can say for sure the scents are almost identical, save for some minor differences which seem to largely be just the result of the higher oil concentration (like how J40 smells somewhat "richer" or more heavy). I do wonder if jubilation 40 is literally just the oil used for jubilation 25, but turned up. I do know that sometimes you have to change certain parts of the fragrance, due to how certain naturals or aroma chemicals can drastically change depending on concentration. I stand by what I said before, that J25 is not a very strong fragrance. I heard that the old formulation used to be very strong, I have even heard some people say it was overwhelming. The opening is largely that blackberry note, followed by some spices. There is quite a woody, smoky scent to this as well. The oud in this is not that strong, & it's not funky at all—but it's there. The heart of this fragrance is what I think I like the most. The honey & smoke go really well together. There is also a clash between some sweet & slightly sour (most likely from the citrus/blackberry) accords, which create a really nice contrast. The dry down is quite dry, but in a texture kind of way, not in the lack of sweetness kind of way (which is how I often use the word "dry" when describing a perfume, if it lacks sweetness I will simply say just that) as there is certainly still a sweetness to the fragrance. I mainly get a slightly sweet, woody, spicy accord in the dry down. The late dry down is also very light, & very likely a skin scent. It's an amazing complex fragrance, & I will admit it's hard for me to give it a 9 or higher with this kind of performance, but I think the level of artistic genius this fragrance has still commands it. Scent is a 10/10, but again performance is disappointing.

honestly gave up on this fragrance i wore it for a good month and loved it at first but now i get a slight smell of cat piss that i over fixate on even within dry down... could be my batch or idk i got it march 26' otherwise at first i was like wow i get a nice brandy and incense with a touch of oud vibes ... drys down to a flatter brandy/ amber vibe that doesnt sit too well with myskin- now opening post 2-3 sprays gets a very unpleasant almost urine like blast that has turned me off at this point so stopped wearing... 6.5/10

I recently revisited Jubilation XXV after singing its praises in years past and came up with the following observations: 1.) There is so much going on with the notes that it is extremely easy to go anosmic to this. Honestly I feel like the composition could be improved by subtraction. But my name is not Bertrand. 2.) It smells better in a scent trail than it does wrist sniffing. I think this explains some of the complaints regarding performance: it is light in the air, so it feels like you have to dig close in to smell it. But when you do you’re getting the “mess” of notes and going nose blind. At close range I get more of the savory notes like celery seed, bay, and the funkier aspects of the Oud and it’s not very nice. This needs to breathe to be smelled properly. 3.) At the deep drydown, I’m getting a huge, dusty guiac wood note that I never noticed before along with the dusty olibanum resin. This fragrance is DRY. 4.) This used to be a love, but I’ve downgraded it to a like. While its reputation is somewhat justified, I feel Jubilation XXV is a tad overrated. People fall in love with the high concept of it more than the actual smell. To see an example of high concept matching high execution, see Interlude Man.

Opens deep resins and then goes into the fine woods, caliber know-how classic earthy woods resins warm accord but with the excellent to it. Spot quality right away, got the layers, oversprayable, pretty light for an Amouage. Interesting how amongst the beastmodes one basically gets to be eclipsed like that, and on it's own a sheer perfect regular great wear. On strip get honey and fresh airy activated.

Everyone below in the comments saying this is weak, are not wrong. The scent itself is pleasant, but as a fan of Amouage, I know the house is capable of much better. That said, fragrance is subjective. The profile is definitely unique, unlike anything else I’ve smelled before, but it never really wowed me, and it didn’t get any positive reactions from my wife either. In the end, it was just… okay. Considering the hype surrounding it and the strong overall rating on Fragrantica, I came away disappointed. Generally, I rate Amouage highly for performance, which made this even more of a letdown. Working in an office environment, I found myself needing to reapply only two hours into my shift, which isn’t great. The opening is decent for the first hour or two, but after that the performance drops off dramatically. Overall, I’d give it a solid 5/10. It’s simply not my style, and the longevity/performance didn’t live up to expectations.

Yeah... this has been diluted to death. Zero lift. Sits close to the skin (also clothing). Apply before leaving for dinner and it's already a distant memory by the time I make it to the restaurant and is completely gone by late-night coffee & dessert. Such a lovely frag though for the few hours it lasts. The Extrait is also very nice and a much better value, but it is very tiring.

The original formulation of Jubilation Man, with the non-magnetic cap (pre-2014). Is a wonderful spiced oriental fragrance. It carries 10 hours of longevity with moderate projection. The blackberry and honey notes are the stars of the formula in my opinion. USA: Visit Vintage Decants to sample the first formulation of Jubilation Man XXV.

It’s alright. Fruity, spicy, fresh, pretty pleasant and masculine overall. Just doesn’t feel that interesting or complex to me and lacks depth. Kinda meh, especially for the price. There's supposed to be a blackberry note but i dont really get it, it just gives a fresh minty- woody vibe. 5/10

A very rich fragrance. Spices, honey, frankincense + myrrh, leather, maybe a little bit of rose. Not that challenging to wear, semi mass appealing. When people say this smells like royalty I understand why. I can see why people LOVE this stuff. Objectively, it's an 8.5/10. Personally, I would rather wear a designer - 7/10.

Meh… very classic old man… old seems to be the key word I am attributing to amouage scents. It’s respectable and modest. It’s not young and vigorous. It’s not rich and capable. It’s a collection of many for austerity purposes. It does not command the room or demand intimacy. It’s for someone who does not want an experience and wants to build walls to protect themselves as they are forced to interact with the world. An armour. I get spicy out of it with a splash of citrus and wood.

If you recently bought this fragrance from a legitimate source, and its performance disappoints you, give it a couple of proper wears and let it sit for some time. The performance will increase over time. At least, that's my experience. After my purchase I used about 10 ml and let it sit for 2-3 months. It now lasts for about 10-12 hours on me, and if applied on clothes, you will smell it for 2-3 days. Batch: I23863

The review said it's strong and long lasting. I don't agree with that. Tried it 4-5 times at the store but I think it has a problem with it's performance. The scent is quite nice though. What a shame.

Анонім★★★★★

I blind bought this, and legit, I can barely smell it, even right away. I don’t know if it’s a batch problem, but it’s ridiculous anyways. I’ve never had this problem with any other fragrance, most of them last for a while on my skin. This one doesn’t even appear to begin with!

People are right, this stuff is weak. Barely performs better than Mugler Cologne.

When I sampled this, I was racking my brain as it smelled so familiar. Finally, it came to me it was PDM Carlisle, but a funky (not in a good way) weaker version.

Amouage, seriously what happened? Just ran out of a bottle from a few years back and will never buy another. I went and tested and i blinked my eye and the scent was gone. Are you forcing is to buy the 40? I noticed L'Oreal bought a stake in Amouage. I used Kiehl's since the 90s and L'Oreal bought them and their product slowly slowly got so bad went to a different brand. Amouage I am begging dont do what Kiehls did.

While the opening was interesting, between frankincense, spices and something both slightly animalic and leathery (labdunum?) on a herbal earthy woodiness, I then went nose blind and honestly can't really smell it since. So I don't get to enjoy this one. And it goes in the nose blind pile. Fun experiment to test was my partner was wearing a strong scent I know well, and smelling my own arm heavily then trying to smell that up close nuked it too. Fun. Nose off super powers.

Starts off with a fruity berry vibe and a tiny touch of orange notes with an herbal aromatic quality and spicy resinous quality. Then you get the warm spices and honey which give me a tobacco vibe all on a warm resinous woody base where I feel the patchouli and cedar. Reminds me of Kilian’s Straight to Heaven and left a little disappointed in terms of performance even though it’s a luxurious scent. I am looking forward to trying jubilation 40

Don't be fooled by the hype of Amouage XXV. The current 2025-26 batch formulation has been diluted so badly that it should be recalled and/or discontinued. Until people start speaking up about this issue and telling the truth, people will continue to be ripped off. It doesn't matter how good a fragrance is if it lasts less than 30 minutes on the skin. Sillage - 1/10 Longevity - 2/10 Originality- 9/10 Fragrance 8/10 Cost - 2/10

The opening is built around a rich, lush fruitiness. Sweet, juicy blackberry feels as though it has been freshly pressed and poured straight into the bottle, vivid and immediately attention-grabbing. Spices step in to counterbalance part of the blackberry’s sweetness, preventing the fragrance from drifting into overtly feminine territory, and the composition then moves gradually toward an oriental woody heart and base The heart and drydown are highly complex, with an unmistakably generous use of materials that aligns perfectly with the theme of “celebration.” At the center stands red myrrh with a dense, resinous, almost medicinal character. The cool, camphoraceous facet of frankincense tempers the heaviness of the myrrh, while oud and vetiver lend a grounded, dignified woody depth. The addition of spices such as coriander keeps the composition from becoming oppressive, and patchouli reins in any excess sweetness. Altogether, the fragrance feels expansive, exuberant, and finely balanced, immediately signaling a scent designed for grand occasions Despite its weight, it remains wearable, making it suitable for formal events and celebrations, particularly for younger men

Perfect fragrance for a chic leather jacket. I wear it when I want to smell elegant with a minimal and slick style leather jacket look. For more rugged looks, I prefer Bentley for men intense, just Perfect.

Trying this sample on a chilly day while staying indoors. It's pleasant enough --starts out lovely on the wrists--but unremarkable. Manly, slightly spicy, and natural, but I don't detect anything special. Will try again in warmer temps, but for now I don't get the hype. Edit: on reapplication, the berry top notes come through, and there's some added complexity, but it fades down fast. Still very pleasant, though.
