This fragrance is a beautiful interpretation of Spring! The florals are blended well, but jasmine is the most prominent, adding an elegant body powder essence. It's clean, soft, and comforting like your favorite ultra plush blanket. I really can't believe that there isn't any musk in the composition. Definitely uplifting. Office friendly. Intimate - sits very close to the skin. I can see this as a daily signature scent.
I think this is the elevated more sophisticated big sister or see by Chloe. I used to have it and it got discontinued and I always thought it was a nice elegant scent and this just brought the absolution to my collection. Amouage rarely disappoints . Longevity is also superb and sillage obviously a dream.
Those who say this smells generic, please let me know what generic perfumes you're wearing; I want them! This is not as controversial as other Amouage releases, but it is a 15 out of 10. My preferences are clean, musky, and woody; this is one of the few "generic" floral fruity gourmands that I can pull off. It's extremely well blended; it smells expensive, and it never gets too sweet on MY skin (I never overspray this type of scent). It's a compliment getter and a true delight to wear. Great performance.
There is a lot going on here. The notes that stand out the most to me are ROSE, jasmine, heliotrope, vanilla and rum. Easily unisex.
Smells like Turkish delight, but if they had a Sweet Tarts flavor. Very elegant
This is a bit confusing, I feel like there’s too much going on with all the spiced, booze and powdery vanilla-heliotrope combination. It’s not bad, it just feels a bit messy… lots of strong notes kind of fighting for the spotlight. But overall it’a a sweet and spicy powdery fragrance. Feminine leaning and with strong projection.
Boring powder bomb
My favorite perfume of all my 60+ bottles. I found it balanced, beautiful, elegant but playful. For me it’s the best Amouage, followed by Existence. Guidance for me is a little bit overwhelming, but this…. Love, love, love !
Well, it's a very likeable fragrance. The initial is a tad medicinal but that wears off within a few minutes. It is sweet, I see where it might get cloying to some. Thing is, to me, after wearing the incredible Guidance, Dia (both og and extrait), and Honour (same with og and extrait)... Love Delight seems a little too "straight", mainstreamy, even a tad... Dare I say bland? It lacks an edge, a complexity, to set it apart. It's extremely well made, as with all Amouage, just a tad simple.
Simply beautiful easy wear signature scent worthy fragrance. Very good performance yet inoffensive. If you are looking for a pretty, feminine soft yet impressive performing fragrance, Amouage Love Delight is one to consider! 👌
Pleasant, generically sweet. Spice is minimal. I don’t get vanilla. This isn’t really gourmand in the way I hoped. I thought that Existence and Honour had way more nuance and were much more unique. This makes my top three of Amouage perfumes, but just barely. I could see this working in most seasons, but especially fall and spring.
Received a sample of this and I’m in love. It’s yummy, beautiful, feminine and I received many compliments on it. I want it so much but at $395 a bottle I have to hold out.
The thing I love about this sexy perfumey soupy retro thing is all of that. Blonde bouffants, pneumatic breasts, spike heels, clinging satin, glittery lipgloss and a big nite out. Spilling overflowing champagne glasses even in one of those pyramids. Yet close to the skin, dried down, there is a subtle complexity that is addictive.
Love Delight came off nothing like I expected it to! I thought this was going to lean heavier on the gourmand side but surprisingly it doesn't. It's fresh, clean, floral, and powdery with a hint of citrus. The vanilla note in this is different. It's prominent but airy at the same time. It's a perfect wear for all year round and its absolutely stunning! The price point isn't as bad as most of the Amouage bottles either. It has this elegance to it. Very nice composition.
Best vanilla fragrance ive ever smelled....and no one talks about it...... Lets keep it that way.....
Love Delight is a true summer delight... Such a pleasant surprise for me, really, especially after all the criticism that followed its release. This is a citrusy floral is blended so well that I struggle to talk about the specific notes.. instead, its a more of an alluring cloud that just feels so fresh, clean, fresh and feminine ... it makes me inhale a bit deeper. I notice it lasts about 3 hours until it settles closer to skin. It may not be an outstanding release, but still can be a great warm wether wear experience.
Amouage Love Delight❤️ Love Delight is one of my favorite fragrances and one of the most comforting perfumes in my collection. What I love most is the contrast between the opening and the drydown. The fragrance starts with a sparkling citrusy freshness from the bergamot, combined with a subtle spicy touch from the ginger. This bright opening keeps the perfume from feeling too sweet and immediately makes it feel elegant and refined. As it develops, the fragrance becomes softer, creamier, and more gourmand. The sweetness is beautifully balanced by delicate florals, creating a cozy and addictive scent that feels luxurious rather than heavy. To me, Love Delight is the perfect combination of freshness, comfort, and sophistication. It’s one of those fragrances that constantly makes me smell my wrist throughout the day. Every time I wear it, it feels like a warm hug wrapped in luxury❤️
Ekşi tatlı baharatlı pudramsı yani bir birliktelik yok sanki karmançorman bir koku olmuş sanırım sevemedim yani ilk koklamada aşk olmadı zaten de sevmek de olmadı:(
The only perfume to have ever made me nauseous and make my stomach turn.
Smells like someone rubbed floral lotion on dirty feet. The ginger in this overwhelms anything good.
this is nice enough but it’s definitely not $400 nice. lightly spicy, citrusy heliotrope.
intimate powdery lightly sweet blend of spices flowers and vanilla the dry dowen is addicting
I like this. It’s a well done designer fragrance- it feels like there may be lots of options if this isn’t budget friendly though. Gorgeous and I enjoy it but not overly unique. On me it’s very heliotrope forward so can’t see wearing it in the fall
Swoon over this one 😍 it lasts all day and projects great too! I don’t understand the complaints in that area.
Cheap-smelling, designer-smelling dreck. You can get countless perfumes like this for 60 euros at Sephora. Absolutely the epitome of the demise of Amouage. Has the horrible sludgy base chemicals Salmon seems to adore so much. If you like this try to find an old version of Blossom Love. This smells like a cheap rip-off of that. The original BL was wonderful.
Left a comment complaining about it's performance, but ended up buying it anyway. It's beautifully done. I owned decants of this and Guidance, and bought the 100ml of this because I just couldn't get enough. I dont like some of the notes in this fragrance (like ginger and cinnamon) but feel like they did a phenomenal job integrating them. Someone described it as a candied ginger which I can get on board with. The cinnamon to me translates to warmth, not necessarily a outspoken cinnamon note. My sister told me it was reminiscent of early 90's fragrances. Love gourmands wrapped in floral because I do not wish to smell like a pastry. Love it! CAN NOT WAIT to smell this on a man ✨️
I was unprepared to love "Love Delight" as much as I do. I received a sizable decant with a pricey, full bottle purchase of Amouage "Memoir," which I love. And currently, "Guidance" is my forever-and-a-day favorite perfume, full stop. I cannot imagine living without Guidance-smile. I'll melt down if Guidance is ever discontinued... Love Delight is very pretty. As others have stated, in many ways Love Delight is reminiscent of Guidance, albeit a lighter, less complex version (which is probably one reason I love "Love Delight" as much as I do). The perfume's opening is unmistakably ginger, citrus and spicy cinnamon. Creamy vanilla, a bit of powdery almond heliotrope and mixed floral notes (jasmine is most prominent, which I love) quickly emerge and seamlessly blend with the perfume's opening. The drydown is creamy vanilla, almond powder, powdery florals and a wee-bit of booziness. Nagarmotha also adds a slightly green, woody accord to the base. I love it! And I'm happy happy 'cause my full bottle arrived today!!
Pretty. The Garden series aren't hard to wear Amouage fragrances. They're easy(ier) and very high quality. No chemical messes in the base to ruin the perfume. To my nose this is a softly spicy, creamy vanilla ginger pudding. Some florals peaked through after I'd had it a few months or it could have been the weather was different enough to allow me to smell them. I only have two complex Amouage, Lyric and Epic Woman. Both are complex roses although Lyric is easier for me wear. The others are part of the Garden series and I'm thankful for them. While I can appreciate the more complex ones, they aren't for the faint of heart, imo.
In the same family of addict dior Not similar scents. But similar personalities Softer More delicate but still addictive
Beautiful. Perfectly balanced candied ginger with creamy vanilla/cacao & a slight powdered almond- marzipan. Depending on weather, I can smell a play dough vanilla sometimes, (kinda like a Celine vanilla or even the vanilla in BDK's Vanille Leather - not the fragrance itself - just that kind of vanilla). with some delicate florals along with that spiced, creamy vanilla; I really love that part and hope time will bring this aspect out more. Close to the body but lasts forever. The initial hot blast of ginger is very short lived, blending with the creamy notes, giving it a lot of interest. Without that gingery lemony scent this would be boring. It's a lovely addition to the Garden series, which is a huge seller for the brand. A friend of mine was walking by me, about 2 feet away and she said I smelled lovely, so clearly the scent bubble is close but the longevity is there. I like sillage to be fairly close but like smelling my own perfume for a long while. I originally bought dabber samples and it was horrible. The ginger just couldn't settle down and it overpowered everything in that form of application. I couldn't believe this was the same perfume I was smelling from my dabber sample; ginger heavy, blocking the vanilla creaminess way into dry down. Finally I just borrowed my friends bottle for a few days and there is a huge difference from dabbing and/or spraying with a small sprayer. The atomizer on the Amouage bottle dispersed the scent beautifully and all the notes melded perfectly. It's not the first time I've noticed this with a dabber application or a smaller spay sample so if your interested in the perfume, don't give up on if that ginger is overpowering your nose. Try to get to a store where you can sample from the bottle and go back a couple times before you write it off. It's such a low key yet elegant fragrance that can be a real wearable beauty. Anyway, I just bough the bottle bc I love it. And, you can spray with abandon bc it doesn't seem to overwhelm others that aren't in your personal space.
