I don’t get why this is popular. Slightly peppery orange dryer sheets.
A cute, fresh energetic fragrance. It’s sharp and citrusy - a good summer option to refresh you during the day. Does this smell niche? Absolutely not. This resembles floral street and Tocca.
I like this, I think it's more of a night scent, the notes are a bit strong for the day, but the evolution from the spice to the sweetness is great. To me it works better during the spring/summer than in cooler weather.
I cannot believe what I am telling you now :D I was planning to buy blond vanille from Massimo Dutti until today I have tried this found out they are the exact twins lol. So tomorrow I will try the extrait form to see which one to get.
I can honestly say that this one is a big pass for me. There is something that actually makes me a bit queasy, weird because I enjoy all the notes normally. Definitely test before buying.
Too much a simple apple-pear juice, mixed with a mere breeze of dried ginger. Don't like the dry-down, its a very cloying fruit scent. Not my cup of juice unfortunately.
This smells straight up like a cat litter box.
Ok but hear me out: you know how Miss Dior Chérie was the fancy twenty-something strawberry champagne girlie? To me this is her cool bestie who tags along, drinks fruity cocktails and may or may not flirt with men a little too old for her. I was very confused by Pas Ce Soir at first, I liked it but found it difficult to describe why! It's definitely soft and fruity, yet it has quite some personality too. Kinda like friendly uplifting companion. Then it reminded me that Miss Dior Chérie also felt like an uplifting friend. I'm not yet super deep into this hobby yso maybe this is a weird comparison and just my associations fooling me but hey, I'll stand by this for now. Maybe if you're still not over Miss Dior Chérie, you could enjoy this one.
very smooth fruity flower and spices combination with a beautiful dry down, its a like.
Smells like pee
eu sinto pera, jasmine (e florais brancos fortes) e cashemere! bem feminino, a cara da minha sogra
Tonka with a hint of plasticky, soapy floral. Quite unremarkable and generic. Not long-lasting.
This has some pungent note in the opening, but after 30 min sits like a sweet white flower scent. Nothing wow about it but give it a try if you are into flowers.
In may opinion one of the best releases from BDK. An intriguing sweet (but not too sweet) spicy floral mix which is kinda addicting. Unisex in my opinion but leans a bit feminine. It might be funny but this actually reminds me of Angel Mugler but without the fruity notes, more refined & mature. while I dont like Angel. This I really like. BDK is killing it with scents like Pas Сe Soir, Oud Abramad, Citrus Riveira, Creme De Cuir, Sel a'Argent & Gris Charnel. I also think that this version is better than the extrait which is way more spicy. the performance is superb for both versions. few sprays will easily last until the next day.
A bit sweet, a bit strong, a bit generic. There is something a little novel at least in the exact fruity aspect provided by the quince. Wish the warming ginger / pepper topnote lasted a little longer
Such elegant blend of spice, white flowers and soft base. Intriguing and interesting without being too loud. Sophisticated. Longetivity could be better, but still a scent worthy of my signature wardrobe ✨
Spicy chocolate scent. If you want sweet warm chocolate, go for Attrape-reves by LV. Too much could be headache-inducing. Do not blind buy.
A very pleasant floral fragrance with a sophisticated, elegant feel. It is refined and easy to wear, making it a great choice for everyday use or more polished occasions. The downside is its performance, it does not last very long on the skin and has minimal projection.
Pas Ce Soir is supposedly one of the "Female Only" BDKs. My partner has owned a bottle for a while as I bought it for her because I love it on women. I also wear it from time to time. Is it really as feminine as it seems? Can a guy make it work? The opening is orange blossom and neroli with a flighty but ever-present jasmine that dominates to an extent that this fragrance can only be described as a floral DNA. Real men (whatever that means) aren't afraid of florals and I must say they are well done here. It isn't cloying or overbearing and the fruit notes do solid work in making that happen. The orange blossom builds bridges between the florals and the fruits and it works very nicely. The quince is quite interesting as it does the same job your run-of-the-mill Ambroxin injection does in that it is here to smooth, calm and homogenise and to take away any sourness or tang from the citruses. It feels less synthetic as a result and I like it. The best bit here (for me) is the ginger sparkle and crack of black pepper in the head. It is very restrained and here to add interest and depth but also to ensure the cashmeran and amberwood do not take this in a creamy direction. The result is as interesting as it is elegant. It has a real, ray-of-sunshine summery feel and is an excellent summer reach for the hot months, especially here in Dubai. For some reason, me wearing this seems edgier than when I wear something like Meant To Be Seen or Mojave Ghost which I think is because this is a more traditional "feminine lean". As a result, I've never worn this on its own and tend to reach for it when I have a richer base layer with some woods in it that I want a bit more brightness and vibrancy from. A great example of this is Ralph's Club EDP which I've had for ages and quite enjoy but always found a bit one dimensional and flat. The bitter woody base in it and the lavender in the top go amazingly with Pas Ce Soir. The end product is gorgeous, as slightly obtuse layering combos go. It just works. It takes Pas Ce Soir from a yellow summer dress to a really great fitting pair of Levis and a white t-shirt on a summer day if that makes sense in figurative sartorial terms. Pas Ce Soir is a brilliant example of the fallacy of traditional gender in perfumery. You'd be hard pressed to find a contemporary fruity floral freshie that leans more feminine than this, but it is wearable for a guy if you do it right. If it smells great, wear it. If you love it, spray it. If you get it, then get it. Three Word Summary - Summer Fruit Florals Scent - 8/10 Drydown - 7/10 Sillage - 7/10 Bottle/Packaging - 8/10 Performance - 8/10 38/50
Why isnt this one searchable here, only the extrait comes up when typing ”pas ce soir” in the search bar🤷🏼♀️ The perfume though (both this and even more the extrait) is magical.
The scent is like "don't talk to me, darling! but I let you stalk me" It's candied sweet ginger and pear ( I assumed it's Quince). It's very sweet almost like a vanilla sweet and a hint of fresh citrus and it has creamy texture in the background like coconuty and a wet newspaper. This is versatile, all year round scent, but I think the magical happens when using in cool temperature. don't hate me but IMO it's like Twilly d’Hermès with JPG La Belle and some white florals. Longevity on me 4-6 hours.
I'm wearing this today and wow. It's just 10am and i've already gotten several compliments that I smell amazing. I work in the medical field so I have to be careful about being too overbearing with my fragrance but so far everyone has loved this one. I wish I could find a dupe for it but so far i haven't had much luck. I read that some thought it reminded them of Jimmy choo jimmy choo edp and I have that as well. It is similar but it has a little something more, like a bright something in there that jimmy choo doesn't have. I love both though.
BDK inherits the torch of French femininity and elegance in perfumery. This house is sublime, and it sends me back to her, that time when I was in my late twenties, and she was in her early twenties. Pas Ce Soir is her vivid breath, her realistic whisper in my ear from times of love and pain long forgotten. The composition is spotless, rounded, elegant, and charismatic. However, it's not loud, almost as if Jean Claude Hellena created it with his magic touch. Beautiful indolic vibe that gives it a human aura. Classical sensuality, the forbidden fruit.
This holds a special place for me as it was my first ever niche fragrance I purchased. I remember being overwhelmed by niche fragrances because some of them can be polarising but Pas ce Soir instantly stood out as being very likeable, uplifting and fruity. I do think it’s a unique fragrance - sun riped fruits come to mind but not the usual fruits we see in fragrance. I wouldn’t say you absolutely need this in your collection but I’d give it a chance if you like fruity happy easygoing scents.
interestingly, there is this realistic 4K ultra HD quince which I wasn't expecting to get... but you rub some ginger on the slices the way Italians rub their Bruschetta with garlic just to follow it up with some vague white floral accent, simply to just enhance that perfumey effect. the sweet sharpness of ginger in combination with quince's dry peculiar self, creates this candied youthful essence like it's cute! ok... but still cute. love the name though... "Pas ce Soir!" makes me think of wearing a bright yellow sundress with some summer fruit prints on it, with some cute golden flops as you indulge yourself in the kitchen cooking some unnecessary meal for yourself and yourself only while pondering about how it all could've turned out if you actually said yes to this guy last night... with a smile.
Elegance with a French accent and a hint of coquettish charm. The opening sparkles, juicy mandarin meets spicy ginger, dusted with black pepper. That contrast of freshness and spice feels like the first sip of a well made alkohol, energising, gently warming, awakening the senses. After a moment, the composition softens. Ripe, sweet quince steps forward, wrapped in orange blossom and jasmine. It’s a golden, dense sweetness, yet never overdone, more like syrup slowly running over fine porcelain than a sugary overload. As it settles on the skin, woody-amber notes emerge, with a subtle, slightly earthy touch of patchouli. This is where the fragrance gains depth and sensuality, like the warm glow of sunset reflected in a glass of liqueur. Longevity is around five hours, with moderate projection, creating an intimate aura that doesn’t dominate the room, but quietly invites others closer. A scent like an evening in Paris, city lights, fleeting flirtatious glances, and the promise that perhaps… just perhaps, not tonight.
It smells like used wet wipes after you go number two.... :(
It is an OK fragrance. Nothing groundbreaking. The story of how this was created leaves a lot more to be imagined, but this is very ordinary. And so is the extrait.
Is this really not similar to anything else? Hard to imagine. It's a nice fruity perfume afterall
when I first smelled this, I did perceive its dna to have something in it that smelled 'designer', like something that could've been a recurrent blend used in a line of scents and their flankers. but two things I noticed were that non-fragrance hobbyists don't really pick up on this, and that the more I smell it the less that aspect of it mattered to me. the standout notes and excellent blending on this fragrance make it very compelling-- quince has an almost tropical/ floral headiness to it that I find very enticing. when I would buy fresh quince in the fall to make into preserves, I would constantly hold the fruit up to my nose to keep catching whiffs of its complex bouquet. you know when you'd bring a pomelo home and it'd scent the whole kitchen? or when someone else was peeling an orange in class? pas ce soir is such a soothing yet bright scent that makes you want to linger around it, almost sad that it will fade. I can't believe I fell so hard for this scent, but it's so beautiful and refreshingly addictive. it has a juicy, just shy of tart edge relaxing on top of the nectary sweetness that is unique enough to stand out, but remains so friendly and endearing that it desperately makes me want to be perceived that way by others, to have them feel the way I feel about it too. I would be so happy to sit next to someone wearing this, and I often put it on at home just so it can hang out with me. for what it's worth, my boyfriend (who loves fruity-type scents on women) loves this fragrance and picked it to be my valentine's day date perfume. I think it really is such a crowd pleaser-- not impossible to understand, all the while having something more special and slightly rare for those who are looking for it.
